Server7 ssi not working

I am running sun java web server 7 and trying to support php and can't quite get the server side includes to work. I have tried the general tab under content handling tab under the virtual servers section. Parsed HTML/SSI Settings is enables for all html files. But so far the ssi's are not working.

Thanks for the help. I have an index.shtml file and in that file I have two server side includes that do not seem to work.
<!--#include file="/access_root/index-menu-njs.inc" -->
<!--#include virtual="/access_root/index-main.php" -->
I am using the sun provided php add-on. I tried to compile it my self and never got it to work. The sun add-on seems to work just fine. If I add the files manually to the url field (http://"hostname"/index-menu-njs.inc or http://"hostname"/index-main.php) the pages load fine.
obj.conf:NameTrans fn="pfx2dir" from="/access_root" dir="/web/app/access_root/htdocs" (also the document root)"
This issue is not directly php related since the index-menu-njs.inc file will not load either. I tried changing the mime type extension from .inc to .html, but no change in behavior. I have not tried the wadm command yet. I did the ssi configuration through the web based admin console. Under content handeling/general tab I have server-parsed html/ssi settings enabled and parsed files is set to all html files.
Any ideas?
Thanks

  • Ssis not working on the mapped folder

    hi,
    I created a package on my local machine which works okay(all it does  is to take an excel file from my desk to and load into sql server using ssis), but I am trying to load the file from the shared folder for the office, but its not working.. I guess
    its permission issue, can someone tell me how to go about it please

    Olaf, Visakh..we are taking for granted that is an user account permission issue but he didn't explain the problem. I use a lot SSIS and 90% I agree with you, it's a permission problem but bear in mind that SSIS is a little bit "picky",
    I mean..you can create the package, everything works but when you simply change the path of the file you need to set again the mapping column
    (no big deal, just set again with one click). Anyway if the poster give us more information I guess we can help him with some good advice...
    The scenario you're suggesting happens only when new file has some difference in metadata like difference in column name, datatypes, length etc. Also some cases lineage id changes also causes an issue. If file metadata has no changes then I've not had any
    issues as such.
    In fact in most of the cases we create package using test file in local folder whereas in actual case it will fetching files from remote fileshare while executing from server with path being sent as a config item. It will work fine so long as metadata of
    test file we used is in sync with actual files from fileshare

  • PHP and SSIs not working in Lion

    So I had PHP and HTML SSIs working fine under SL, but now they don't seem to be working since upgrading to Lion.  I have checked the httpd.conf file and all the correct lines are still uncommented and 'Includes' is still listed as an Option Directive in both the httpd.conf file and <USER>.conf file.  Has anybody else had this problem since upgrading to Lion and how can I fix it?

    Mine is similar for something different. After uncommenting php in httpd.conf file the server refuses to boot. When I typed php -v at the command line I got this:
    dyld: Library not loaded: @loader_path/../lib/libssl.dylib
      Referenced from: /usr/lib/libpq.5.dylib
      Reason: Incompatible library version: libpq.5.dylib requires version 1.0.0 or later, but libssl.0.9.8.dylib provides version 0.9.8
    That's been frustratingly hard to fix so far (at least for me). I was just getting started helping a friend with his Joomla site and promised to duplicate the difficulty and debug it on my Mac Air. But, I installed Mountain Lion, and then more recently the latest upgrade, and everything went south as they say. I need to see what answer you get. It may apply to my problem as well.

  • Java and SSI Not Working on New Site?

    I think we just need to update the server to get things
    working since we had everything working on a test server. Right now
    the SSI's which are at the right (in the orange box) and the bottom
    of the page aren't working along with javascript so I cannot use
    any of the menus.
    We just pushed everything and we would like to have this
    fixed ASAP, here is the link:
    http://sergeant-bluff.k12.ia.us/

    This line tells me that the server is not parsing for ssi:
    <!--#include virtual="/includes/copyright.shtml" -->
    Are you sure ssi is enabled on your hosted site?

  • Parsed HTML/SSI not working in Web Server 7 on Ubuntu Server 9.10

    Please help. I have SJSWS 7.0u6 on Ubuntu Server 9.10. The HTML parsing is set to parse all HTML files.
    My HTML code is:
    <body>
      <!--#include file="includes/corner.html"-->
      <div id="maincontent">
         <!--#echo var="DATE_GMT"-->
      </div>
    </body>I added the echo command later to rule out an error with my include file. I even took out the include command to rule it out completely. If I "view/page source" from firefox I allways get the code as it is above in its origonal form. The server is completely ignoring the include and the echo.
    In the virtual server settings under content handling / Parsed HTML/SSI I have tried "all HTML" and "executable HTML". Both return the same result, which is no parsing whatsoever. The log is set to "finest" and so far no errors have come up. Please tell me what I am doing wrong, did I miss a step, overlook some extra settings?
    I am happy to provide more detail. Just let me know what you need to see.
    Thank you.
    update: I tested another bare bones html and got the same results, no parsing.

I checked the server.xml config file and the log level was at "info" even though I set it for "finest" in the GUI. I am now getting the finest details in the logs after I changed the server.xml file manualy. Here is what I am getting for test.html. ...

  • SSI not working on subfolders

    I have ssi up on running on the index page but when I try to
    add the ssi to a subfolder webpage it doesn't show up properly.
    When you mouse over the ssi in the subfolder webpage it comes up
    with the subfolder name followed by the proper link. I need to get
    rid of the subfolder name. Any ideas?

    Can you show me the page, please?

  • SSIS Environmental Variables not working in BPC 7.5(MS) Data Manager

    Hi,
    We have an SSIS 2008 package that is retrieving variable values from Environmental Variables.  The package runs successfully when executed from DTExec, but fails when executing from a BPC 7.5(MS) Data Manager package.  Looking through logs we've been able to pinpoint the issue.  The issue is that the SSIS package is unable to retrieve variable values from Environmental Variables when running from Data Manager packages.  We tried using XML Configuration files to store variable values, but this did not work either when running the SSIS package from Data Manager.  Has anyone seen this before?  If so, what was the solution to resolving the issue?
    Thanks,
    Glenn Van Der Werff

    Hi Glenn,
    Can you set package variables in Data Manager script as a workaround?
    For example, here is how we set connection string:
    GLOBAL(DRILL_CN_STRING,Data Source=%SQLSERVER%;Initial Catalog=%DRILL_DB%;Provider=SQLOLEDB.1;Integrated Security=SSPI;Application Name=SSIS-BPC_Incremental_Oracle;Auto Translate=False;)
    DRILL_CN_STRING is a variable in our package and %<Parameter Name>% are parameters for that connection string.
    Regarding Env Variables and XML... there could be security related and/or Package ProtectionLevel issue when BPC system account.
    Hope that helps,
    Akim

  • Truncate that does not work in a SSIS package but works in SSMS

    Hi guys I have this simple code
    if object_id('[dbo.generator Only production 2011]') is not null
    begin
    truncate table [generator Only Production 2011]
    end
    embedded in a SSIS package. It does not work and I don't understand why. If I run the truncate table [generator Only Production 2011] directly from SSMS it works perfectly.
    Any clue?
    Thanks

    if object_id('[dbo.generator Only production 2011]') is not null
    You quoted the whole schema + object name with brackets; that query will never return a result =>
    if object_id('[dbo].[generator Only production 2011]') is not null

  • Weblogic Http Apache Plugin not working

    Hi,
    I have installed weblogic server 10.3 on WindowsXP Professional and Http Apache 2.2 is running on port 80. I followed the following document to configure the Apache plugin:
    http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs103/plugins/apache.html
    but when I go and test the plugin it always comes back with 404 page not found. As per the documentation I am testing it as
    http://localhost:80/weblogic/
    Here is my httpd.conf
    Include "C:/bea/alui/plumtreeconf/"
    # This is the main Apache HTTP server configuration file.  It contains the
    # configuration directives that give the server its instructions.

    # for a discussion of each configuration directive.
    # Do NOT simply read the instructions in here without understanding
    # what they do.  They're here only as hints or reminders.  If you are unsure
    # consult the online docs. You have been warned.
    # Configuration and logfile names: If the filenames you specify for many

    # with "/", the value of ServerRoot is prepended -- so "logs/foo.log"
    # with ServerRoot set to "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2" will be interpreted by the
    # server as "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/logs/foo.log".
    # NOTE: Where filenames are specified, you must use forward slashes
    # instead of backslashes (e.g., "c:/apache" instead of "c:\apache").

  • TH_DELETE_MODE not working in Web GUI after EHP7 upgrade

    Hi
    After upgrading to EHP7 the function module TH_DELETE_MODE is not working in the Web GUI. If I start the TH_DELETE_MODE in SE37 with the default paramter "1-" I'll get the HTTP error code 500. We use the function module for our webdynpro to logout but it is not working anymore.
    Any idea or recommendation?
    Thank you and best regards, Ronny

  • Windows 7 (Ent) Sp1 on server 2012 R2 HyperV, RFX USB redirection not working

    Hello,
    I currently have  windows server 2012 R2 with HyperV installed. I have built two virtual machines. A windows 8.1 and Windows 7 sp1. Both are enterprise editions
    For RemoteFX the hypervisor is using a Zotec GTX 760 GPU. It recognizes it and uses it to apply remoteFX adapter on my Windows 7 Sp1 VM.
    As you are aware I do not need to use a GPU to enable RFX on my Windows 8.1 it can do this without the need of a GPU.
    Using an RDP client( v8.1)  I can connect to my Windows 8.1 VM with a USB headset,memory Key or a printer and they all enumerate on the Virtual machine. The driver for each device installs
    and I can use the device without any issues.
    However this issue lies with the Windows 7 SP1 VM. I can connect to it via RDP( Same client)  but I cannot redirect any devices to it. I have installed the latest integration services available on the VM. I have ran all updates available.
    Because I have ran all updates the rdp version on the VM is running v8.1.
    Previous to installing the updates USBr still was not working
    I have enabled the following group polices under remote desktop services on the Windows 7 SP1 VM :
    RDP 8.0 -- Enabled
    Configure RFX -- Enabled
    Is there a known issue with USB redirection not working on a Windows 7sp1 virtual machine hosted on server 2012 Hypervisor ??
    Many Thanks
    Brian

    Hi,
    According to the log above, I found that we run the script on both Server6 and Server7. Errors as below:
    Server6: Conversion is not supported in restricted language mode or a Data section.
    Server7: Couldn't figure out valid servers from the specified destination scope. Check your parameters and try again.
    Since we can only run the RollAlternateserviceAccountPassword.ps1 Script on CAS server, the script not works well if Server6 is MBX server.
    For Server7, based on the error message, it seems you still have no right to run the script/cmdlet.
    Please add your account to Organization Management Role group(ADUC->domain.com->Microsoft Exchange Security Groups) to test if possible.

  • Apache not working

    Hi,
    I am new to this forum. I bought Mac book pro few months back. I am working on a project that involves Jboss. Whenever I start Apache and type "http://localhost/" on the browser, the result is "It works!".(But when I hit refresh, it says "Safari can’t open the page “http://localhost/” because Safari can’t connect to the server “localhost”."). There are no "httpd" process running in the Activity Monitor.
    I tried to configure, still the same issue. I checked and none of the other services is listening to the same port:80. I have posted the complete content of httpd.conf file in the"/etc/apache2".(I apologize for the long thread)
    1. This is the main Apache HTTP server configuration file. It contains the
    2. configuration directives that give the server its instructions.
    3. See <URL:<a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://">http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2> for detailed information.
    4. In particular, see
    5. <URL:<a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://">http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/directives.html>
    6. for a discussion of each configuration directive.
    1. Do NOT simply read the instructions in here without understanding
    2. what they do. They're here only as hints or reminders. If you are unsure
    3. consult the online docs. You have been warned.
    1. Configuration and logfile names: If the filenames you specify for many
    2. of the server's control files begin with "/" (or "drive:/" for Win32), the
    3. server will use that explicit path. If the filenames do not begin
    4. with "/", the value of ServerRoot is prepended -- so "/private/var/log/apache2/foo_log"
    5. with ServerRoot set to "/usr" will be interpreted by the
    6. server as "/usr//private/var/log/apache2/foo_log".
    1. ServerRoot: The top of the directory tree under which the server's
    2. configuration, error, and log files are kept.
    1. Do not add a slash at the end of the directory path. If you point
    2. ServerRoot at a non-local disk, be sure to point the LockFile directive
    3. at a local disk. If you wish to share the same ServerRoot for multiple
    4. httpd daemons, you will need to change at least LockFile and PidFile.
    ServerRoot "/usr"
    1. Listen: Allows you to bind Apache to specific IP addresses and/or
    2. ports, instead of the default. See also the <VirtualHost>
    3. directive.
    1. Change this to Listen on specific IP addresses as shown below to
    2. prevent Apache from glomming onto all bound IP addresses.
    #Listen 12.34.56.78:80
    #Listen 80
    1. Dynamic Shared Object (DSO) Support
    1. To be able to use the functionality of a module which was built as a DSO you

    3. directives contained in it are actually available before they are used.

    1. 'Main' server configuration
    1. The directives in this section set up the values used by the 'main'
    2. server, which responds to any requests that aren't handled by a
    3. <VirtualHost> definition. These values also provide defaults for
    4. any <VirtualHost> containers you may define later in the file.
    1. All of these directives may appear inside <VirtualHost> containers,
    2. in which case these default settings will be overridden for the
    3. virtual host being defined.
    1. ServerAdmin: Your address, where problems with the server should be
    2. e-mailed. This address appears on some server-generated pages, such
    3. as error documents. e.g. [email protected]
    ServerAdmin [email protected]
    1. ServerName gives the name and port that the server uses to identify itself.
    2. This can often be determined automatically, but we recommend you specify
    3. it explicitly to prevent problems during startup.
    1. If your host doesn't have a registered DNS name, enter its IP address here.
    #ServerName www.example.com:80
    1. DocumentRoot: The directory out of which you will serve your
    2. documents. By default, all requests are taken from this directory, but
    3. symbolic links and aliases may be used to point to other locations.
    DocumentRoot "/Library/WebServer/Documents"
    1. Each directory to which Apache has access can be configured with respect
    2. to which services and features are allowed and/or disabled in that
    3. directory (and its subdirectories).
    1. First, we configure the "default" to be a very restrictive set of
    2. features.
    <Directory />
    Options FollowSymLinks
    AllowOverride None
    Order deny,allow
    Allow from all
    </Directory>
    1. Note that from this point forward you must specifically allow
    2. particular features to be enabled - so if something's not working as
    3. you might expect, make sure that you have specifically enabled it
    4. below.
    1. This should be changed to whatever you set DocumentRoot to.
    <Directory "/Library/WebServer/Documents">
    1. Possible values for the Options directive are "None", "All",
    2. or any combination of:
    3. Indexes Includes FollowSymLinks SymLinksifOwnerMatch ExecCGI MultiViews
    1. Note that "MultiViews" must be named explicitly --- "Options All"
    2. doesn't give it to you.
    1. The Options directive is both complicated and important. Please see
    2. http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#options
    3. for more information.
    Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
    1. AllowOverride controls what directives may be placed in .htaccess files.
    2. It can be "All", "None", or any combination of the keywords:

    AllowOverride None
    1. Controls who can get stuff from this server.

    1. ErrorLog: The location of the error log file.
    2. If you do not specify an ErrorLog directive within a <VirtualHost>
    3. container, error messages relating to that virtual host will be

    5. container, that host's errors will be logged there and not here.
    ErrorLog "/private/var/log/apache2/error_log"
    1. LogLevel: Control the number of messages logged to the error_log.
    2. Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit,

    1. The following directives define some format nicknames for use with
    2. a CustomLog directive (see below).
    LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined
    LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %b" common
    <IfModule logio_module>
    1. You need to enable mod_logio.c to use %I and %O

    1. The location and format of the access logfile (Common Logfile Format).
    2. If you do not define any access logfiles within a <VirtualHost>
    1. container, they will be logged here. Contrariwise, if you do
    2. define per-<VirtualHost> access logfiles, transactions will be
    3. logged therein and not in this file.
    CustomLog "/private/var/log/apache2/access_log" common
    1. If you prefer a logfile with access, agent, and referer information
    2. (Combined Logfile Format) you can use the following directive.
    #CustomLog "/private/var/log/apache2/access_log" combined
    </IfModule>
    <IfModule alias_module>
    1. Redirect: Allows you to tell clients about documents that used to
    2. exist in your server's namespace, but do not anymore. The client
    3. will make a new request for the document at its new location.
    4. Example:
    5. Redirect permanent /foo http://www.example.com/bar
    1. Alias: Maps web paths into filesystem paths and is used to
    2. access content that does not live under the DocumentRoot.
    3. Example:
    4. Alias /webpath /full/filesystem/path
    1. If you include a trailing / on /webpath then the server will
    2. require it to be present in the URL. You will also likely
    3. need to provide a <Directory> section to allow access to
    4. the filesystem path.
    1. ScriptAlias: This controls which directories contain server scripts.
    2. ScriptAliases are essentially the same as Aliases, except that
    3. documents in the target directory are treated as applications and
    4. run by the server when requested rather than as documents sent to the
    5. client. The same rules about trailing "/" apply to ScriptAlias
    6. directives as to Alias.
    ScriptAliasMatch ^/cgi-bin/((?!(?i:webobjects)).*$) "/Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables/$1"
    </IfModule>
    <IfModule cgid_module>
    1. ScriptSock: On threaded servers, designate the path to the UNIX
    2. socket used to communicate with the CGI daemon of mod_cgid.
    #Scriptsock /private/var/run/cgisock
    </IfModule>
    1. "/Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables" should be changed to whatever your ScriptAliased
    2. CGI directory exists, if you have that configured.
    <Directory "/Library/WebServer/CGI-Executables">
    AllowOverride None

    </Directory>
    1. DefaultType: the default MIME type the server will use for a document
    2. if it cannot otherwise determine one, such as from filename extensions.
    3. If your server contains mostly text or HTML documents, "text/plain" is
    4. a good value. If most of your content is binary, such as applications
    5. or images, you may want to use "application/octet-stream" instead to
    6. keep browsers from trying to display binary files as though they are
    7. text.
    DefaultType text/plain
    <IfModule mime_module>
    1. TypesConfig points to the file containing the list of mappings from
    2. filename extension to MIME-type.
    TypesConfig /private/etc/apache2/mime.types
    1. AddType allows you to add to or override the MIME configuration
    2. file specified in TypesConfig for specific file types.
    #AddType application/x-gzip .tgz
    1. AddEncoding allows you to have certain browsers uncompress
    2. information on the fly. Note: Not all browsers support this.
    #AddEncoding x-compress .Z
    #AddEncoding x-gzip .gz .tgz
    1. If the AddEncoding directives above are commented-out, then you
    2. probably should define those extensions to indicate media types:
    AddType application/x-compress .Z
    AddType application/x-gzip .gz .tgz
    1. AddHandler allows you to map certain file extensions to "handlers":
    2. actions unrelated to filetype. These can be either built into the server
    3. or added with the Action directive (see below)
    1. To use CGI scripts outside of ScriptAliased directories:
    2. (You will also need to add "ExecCGI" to the "Options" directive.)
    #AddHandler cgi-script .cgi
    1. For type maps (negotiated resources):
    #AddHandler type-map var
    1. Filters allow you to process content before it is sent to the client.
    1. To parse .shtml files for server-side includes (SSI):
    2. (You will also need to add "Includes" to the "Options" directive.)
    #AddType text/html .shtml
    #AddOutputFilter INCLUDES .shtml
    </IfModule>
    1. The modmimemagic module allows the server to use various hints from the
    2. contents of the file itself to determine its type. The MIMEMagicFile
    3. directive tells the module where the hint definitions are located.
    #MIMEMagicFile /private/etc/apache2/magic
    1. Customizable error responses come in three flavors:
    2. 1) plain text 2) local redirects 3) external redirects
    1. Some examples:
    #ErrorDocument 500 "The server made a boo boo."
    #ErrorDocument 404 /missing.html
    #ErrorDocument 404 "/cgi-bin/missing_handler.pl"
    #ErrorDocument 402 http://www.example.com/subscription_info.html
    1. EnableMMAP and EnableSendfile: On systems that support it,
    2. memory-mapping or the sendfile syscall is used to deliver
    3. files. This usually improves server performance, but must
    1. be turned off when serving from networked-mounted
    2. filesystems or if support for these functions is otherwise
    3. broken on your system.
    #EnableMMAP off
    #EnableSendfile off

    1. Supplemental configuration
    1. The configuration files in the /private/etc/apache2/extra/ directory can be
    2. included to add extra features or to modify the default configuration of
    3. the server, or you may simply copy their contents here and change as
    4. necessary.
    1. Server-pool management (MPM specific)

  • .htaccess not working.

    All,
    I am working with a 3rd party to have some scripts installed that use the .htaccess function. (10.4.11)
    T?he developer has asked me to enable (or check and see if it is enabled) .htaccess.
    These scripts worked fine when we installed them previously on a few of our other boxes. (10.3.9 xServe)...and I don't recall having to manually enable .htaccess or a module there.
    Any thoughts? The .htaccess function is clearly not working on this box and I don't know where the "switch" is.
    Take pity on me and point me the right direction please?
    Thanks,
    -C

    Hey Chris,
    I have also been trying to get .htaccess working using the link above. It is still not working for me.
    I have mod rewrite loaded
    I checked both /etc/httpd/httpd.conf and /private/etc/httpd/httpd.conf
    Each are identical
    There is a line
    AccessFileName .htaccess
    So I am assuming that is on. My only other issue is finding the correct Override statement.
    In osx 10.5.1 Server there are 3 entries that contain AllowOverride one is for Alias /icons/
    the 2nd is for
    <Directory /Library/WebServer/CGI-Exuctables>
    the 3rd is for
    <Directory />
    My questions are.. which httpd.conf do I edit? What changes do I make to it?
    Do I need to make a new <Directory> entry for the location of my "website"?
    My website is located in /Library/WebServer/domainname
    My server settings for that site is configured as follows
    1) folder listing (enabled)
    2) Web DAV (disabled)
    3) CGI Execution (disabled)
    4) WebMAil (disabled)
    5) SSI (enabled)
    6) Allow All Overides (enabled)
    7) Spotlight Searching (disabled)

  • Max Memory Settings Not Working (SQL Server 2008 R2)

    I have 12 GB ram in sql server 2008 R2 of 64 bit server (Windows 2008 R2).
    I have set the Max memory setting to 12288 MB Memory setting.
    Still the usage of sql server process is around 14  GB.
    Is Max memory setting not working?
    I have also enabled AWE after all it is 64 bit.
    Thanks

    Problem is that: my OS is halting due to this RAM. I have 16 GB of ram and assigning 12 GB to SQL SERVER and rest is using for OS. Please guide me how to get information about actual memory usage from all sql server processes. like
    all CLR etc
    Hi,
    Are you also running SSIS/SSAS/SSRS with database engine services. What do you mean by OS is halting ?
    If you want to check whether SQL Server is facing memory crunch please have a look at perfmon counters from
    this link
    Sys.dm_OS_memory_clerks would be DMV helpful in tracking memory utilized by various processes
    I have also enabled AWE after all it is 64 bit. Thanks
    Please note AWE doe snot have any notable affect in 64 bit system.
    Below will tell you memory used by SQLCLR
    select single_pages_kb + multi_pages_kb + virtual_memory_committed_kb from sys.dm_os_memory_clerks where type = 'MEMORYCLERK_SQLCLR'
    Below query will give you memory consumed by various clerk
    SELECT type, SUM(multi_pages_kb)
    FROM sys.dm_os_memory_clerks
    WHERE multi_pages_kb <> 0
    GROUP BY type
    ORDER BY SUM(multi_pages_kb) DESC
    Can you reduce max server memory to 11 G and see if it gives some relief
