Service Call - Removing activites not allowed

Hi
When i am updating the Service Call follwing error is showing.....
Removing Activities is not allowed in Service Call.
Any suggestion??

Hello,
based on SAP standard, you cannot delete it but you can mark them as:
1. Inactive Activity no longer appears in reports and your calendar. The activity remains in the database and you can reactivate it.
2. Closed Activity remains in reports and your calendar, but cannot be reopened or modified.
So, do one of the steps above before updating the service calls.

Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLKKBL" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
What can you do?
Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
administrator.
Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
at and manage termination messages, and you can also
keep them for a long time.

The main program was "RSM13000 ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 441
of the (Include) program "LKKBLU01".

I have a form in which i want to call a transaction:
CALL TRANSACTION 'VL32N' USING bdc_tab
                                                   MODE    'E'
                                                   UPDATE 'S'
                                                   MESSAGES INTO mestab.
I call this report from within a message and when reaching this statement it fails.
Now i get this error in ST22:
POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT
Statement "CALL TRANSACTION" is not allowed in this form.
and afterwards this error:
DYNPRO_SEND_IN_BACKGROUND
Screen output without connection to user.
As i read,it is not allowed to call this kind of statement from within a form and we should use something like:
RECEIVE RESULTS FROM FUNCTION but i do not know how because i have never before used such call statements.

The bdc table is filled correctly but the CALL TRANSACTION is not alllowed.I think it is because of the call from the Form ENTRY which is called when issuing an message from my transaction.I have read that it is not allowed to have any call transaction,submit or any other statements like these in a function call,and i think that my form ENTRY is seen as a sort of function module.
Any other opinions?
With my "call transaction" statement i wanted to open the VL32N Transaction and post a goods receipt.Is there any other way to do this?
I get this message in the ST22 Transaction:

Go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>your account>Outgoing mail Server SMTP>Primary Server then turn Server ON and fill in both User Name +Password under Outgoing Mail Server.

Why Service Call and why not call Function module Directly in WD ABAP

Hi,
I have created a Webdynpro applications and the logic requires calling avrious Function modules.
Do I need to create Service Call for each Function module or call them directly.
It would be great if you can suggest me under what cases I need to opt for Service call
For example, if I use 'RP_CALC_DATE_IN_INTERVAL', do I need to use Service call or call function module directly.
Note: I have searched forums but could not get the correct answer which I want

The Service Call is really meant to be a wizard/time saver. It has the advantage that it can generate matching context nodes/attributes for the interface of the Function Module you are calling. However everything that the service call does can also be created by hand.
Personally I'm not a fan of what the service call wizard generates. Its good as a time saver or for beginners, but I find I prefer to touch up the code it generates anyway. I much prefer to create a nice reusable model class with its own unit test and then consume this model class (with the service call wizard) from WD. This model class might contain one or more function module calls depending upon what logic I need to access.

Trigger call procedure - Commit not allow

Hi all,
I need help.
 
I have One table name
EVENTS. 
I have create two trigger on that table. 
Trigger 1 is to add a running number
to events table into "id" column.
Trigger 2 is to pass that running
number in to other procedure after the new row in events complete fill in
database.
 
The error is : Commit not allow in
trigger.
The commit is only on my procedure.

 The PL/SQL block of a trigger cannot contain transaction control SQL statements (COMMIT, ROLLBACK, SAVEPOINT, and SET CONSTRAINT) if the block is executed within the same transaction.If you really want to do a commit then search for autonomous transaction.

Adobe Document Services Error : 405 - Method Not Allowed

Hi guys
After Upgrading a JAVA System from NW 7.01 to NW 7.4, I'm experiencing this error when opening url

Error: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.server.additions.wsa.WSAddressingException: com.sap.SOA.wsr.030104 - Expected request method POST. Found GET.
Wizard Configuration for Adobe Document Services was completed without errors
I have done the User verification as stated by SAP Help and it returned Adobe Version as expected
Procedure
In your Internet browser, enter the Web address http://<server>:<port><server> : name of the AS Java where the Adobe Document Services (ADS) are installed<port> : port of the AS Java
Enter the WS Navigator user and password.
As Search Type , select Provider System .
Search for * adobe *.
In the list, choose AdobeDocumentServicesVi .
Choose Next .
Choose rpData .
Choose Next .The parameters are displayed.
Choose Next without entering any parameters.
Enter the user name ADSUser and the respective password and choose OK .
Also verified all Services and they are Running
Any idea if on Netweaver 7.4 this URL changed or how can I access ADS?

Im just accessing from url http://server:port/AdobeDocumentServices/Config
On previous versions you can access to a Welcome Screen.
Which URL should I use o NW 7.4 to access ADS?

Service Call activities

Currently if you create an activity against a service call the call number and source are copied to the activity as Source Object Type service call and Source Object No. as the call number.
If you close this activity and create a follow up activity the service call details are not copied across to the follow up.
It would be very useful if they were copied as - for example.
The first activity is an Engineers Visit to check a faulty unit.
This requires a Purchase order to be placed for a repair as the next activity.
The next activity could be returning the repaired unit to the customer.
If you could use follow up activities it would keep all activities and the history on the service call screen.
At present the follow up activities are only attached to the BP so you lose the traceability.

if u want to add the remarks field then u have two options first option is that u can add a UDF user defined field for remarks however if u want the remarks column to be there in the standard service call screen then u can do it by the help of coding

Service Call in SBO 2005 B PL 38 - Activity done but not added to call

I have updated PL 38, SBO 2005 B, I had created Service call, it was created successfully, now i have done activity of return but it dosent add to activity tab and gives us error -> "Generate SCActivity : A Service Call Activity dose not exist"
Can any one has idea or solution of this please.

N8 outgoing calls NOT ALLOWED

Hello,
I have a problem, not always but sometimes when I unlock keypad on my phone /Iam using a password lock/ and I try to make a call it says NOT ALLOWED. The incoming calls works without problem only the outgoing calls are NOT ALLOWED. After switching off and on its working. Any solutions about this? Thanks a lot-

New Service Call Number not being created. SBO 2007A

Every time we try to create a new Service Call, the window opens with the number of the last service call created. It's like onnm doesn't know somebody created that number already. Can anybody tell me the objectcode for a Service Call so I can take a look? While you're at it, where is a reference to all the object codes in onnm?

The Service Call number is not really in the document numbering.
It actually comes from the OSCL table and the field is Callid

As of Service Pack 01, Patch 36 (at least as far as I know) I get the following error when attempting to create and link an activity to a service call:

You could either use that piece of code or make an insert in SCL5.

Create Activity same as button Activity on TAB Activity of Service Call

Anyone can lead me on the right track with the DI API to create an Activity which is the same as

Symptom
It is a legal requirement in Brazil that service calls are numbered.
Solution
To facilitate the legal requirement that users can trace and manage service calls efficiently, it is now possible to assign service calls to sequential series numbering. All marketing document numbering rules (search, overlapping numbers, manual series, and etc.) are also applied on service calls. The following fields and objects are added:
In the Document Numbering - Setup window, the service calls object is added.
To access the Document Numbering - Setup window, choose Administration -> System Initialization -> Document Numbering.
In the Series - Service Calls - Setup window, the 'Primary' series is added.
For new and upgraded companies, the application automatically creates the 'Primary' series for service calls.
In the Numbering Series - Setup window, the 'Primary' series is added.
In the Service Call window, the No. fields (selection of series and number) are added.
To access the Service Call window, choose Service -> Service Call.
In the Relate Series to Document - Setup window, the service calls object is added.
For the service reports (Service Calls, Service Calls by Queue, Response Time by Assigned to, Average Closure Time, Service Monitor, My Service Calls, My Open Service Calls and My overdue Service Calls, Service Contract document - subtab Service Calls and Customer Equipment Card - subtab Service Calls):
Call No. (label text) is changed to Call ID.
The Document No. field represents the new call no. field.
Series column is added to service reports.
The Check Document Numbering - Selection Criteria window also includes checking of the service calls sequence.
To access the Check Document Numbering - Selection Criteria window, choose Administration -> Utilities -> Check Document Numbering.
For new created service calls, no record will be written to History Change Log when you add service calls (the same as the system behavior in the marketing documents).
Only after the actual update on an already added service call, a history record will be added.
There is no change in the already existing Call ID field, the behavior of this field stays the same.
