Service Integration for Internal Communication

I created a Service Integration for Internal Communication to send Opportunity data to my custom BO in a separate deployment unit. I've gone through the documentation and all the steps, but I don't understand how to get the A2A to actually send the data. Do I have to call it in a script?
I'd love to see some more documentation on A2A scenarios for communication to separate deployment units, because I need help.

Hi,
can you post how you got it ?

  • Exchange certificates and services setup for internal and external clients access on separate domains.

    I have the following on my local network.
    Server DomainA -> Small Business server 2003/Exchange 2003
    Server DomainB -> Windows 2008 R2/Exchange 2013
    Clients Domain A ->  Windows XP/Outlook 2003
    Clients Domain B -> Windows 7/Outlook 2007/2010
    Problem:  I want clients from DomainA to log into Exchange on DomainB on the same local network.
    I need to know how to setup the DNS on both domains and the certificates on the DomainB Exchange server
    to accept the connection from the PC on domainA.   All connections from clients on domainB to server on domainB
    work correctly but when adding accounts to Outlook 2003/2007 on domainA clients I am getting certificate errors.
    I have purchased certificates for mail.domainb.com and autodiscover.domainb.com but I dont know how to get
    the clients on domainA to recognize those external URL's of the exchange server (with the certificates bound to them) from the internal network. Hence I get domain errors.
    I am getting issues when a client on DomainA tries to add an Outlook mail profile to connect to the Exchange on DomainB
    Any suggestions on how to set this up?
    thanks

    Domain A & Domain B are two separate AD Forests?
    Users in Domain A either need mailbox-enabled user accounts that are in DomainB or a linked mailbox in Domain B to utilise the Exchange Server in DomainB. In either case with the help of the autodiscover service user can use the services in ExchangeB.
    If the client machines are member of domainA and you are trying to access ExchangeB you will then need to leverage a custom XML file for autodiscover and force the Outlook client to use this file.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <Autodiscover xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/autodiscover/responseschema/2006">
      <Response xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/autodiscover/outlook/responseschema/2006a">
        <Account>
          <AccountType>email</AccountType>
          <Action>redirectUrl</Action>
          <RedirectUrl>https://autodiscover.domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml</RedirectUrl>
        </Account>
      </Response>
    </Autodiscover>
    Then you need to configure the client machine to query that XML file by adding the following registry key:
    Refer to XML file
    for Outlook 2007:
    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Autodiscover
    for Outlook 2010:
    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Autodiscover
    STRING_value <your_namespace> = path to XML file

  • DNS cluster address additions for internal communication

    Hi Guys,
              My understanding is that WL cache's DNS address of the cluster, and removes
              'dead' cluster members.
              I imagine that this means that if I use:
              ic = new InitialContext("t3://myclusteraddress:7003");
              and I have myclusteraddress mapped to 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.2 that all will be
              well with the world?
              And if 10.0.0.1 goes down, all will still be well?
              What happens when I dynamically add a server to such a cluster? As the
              DNS doesn't get read again, cos
              it's cached, what happens? Is there some magic that goes on behind my back
              perhaps involving multicast of
              new servers that updates the "DNS cache" so that the new server is included?
              For external clients, I understand the problem, and the need for a hardware
              load balancer or the like that
              can detect failure and not return dead DNS servers. Qustion: Can I emulate
              this using a piece of software?

  • An extension number for internal communication

    dear sir,
    We have both same ip addressing iptel network in 2 company but different did numbering . Company A with 111XXXX and company B with 222XXXX. Any one have any idea how to create an extension number for both company to communicate?
    Thanks.

    You can set everyone up on a 4 digit dialing plan since you have non-overlapping DIDs. Then setup a Translation pattern for each side.
    Company A's DID are 444-2000-2999
    Company B's DID are 444-3000-3999
    In Company's A CCM, setup a Translation Pattern for 3xxx ---->94443xxx So when company A dials 3xxx, it automatically prepends the 3xxx with the outside line and the local exchange to the DID. It creates the "sense" of a 4 digit extensions between two seperate sites.
    In Company's B CCM, do the same Translation pattern, but setup 2xxx ----->94442xxx This should help you create one number then.
    Does this help?

  • XML scheme and Web services enhancement for MS Word integration in CRM 2007

    Hi,
    I am trying to use the Template designer and the web services tool in order to create a MS Word template for the quotation.
    We have created a new web service, using the Web Service Tool
    (transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB, type WS_DESIGN_TOOL). I can use this web service when creating a quotation word template and everything works fine.
    I need to enhance the web service with some custom fields and logic. I found the blog:
    Web-services enhancement for MS Word integration in CRM 2007
    /people/community.user/blog/2008/11/18/web-services-enhancement-for-ms-word-integration-in-crm-2007
    The blog describe how to enhance the web service, extend the output
    structure etc.
    We have done all the steps in the blog, and everything looks fine. When
    we test the web service, using the Web Service Navigator, all the new
    fields we added to the output structure are displayed. The WSDL
    document also looks fine, displayed from the Web Service
    Administration.
    The problem occur when try to create the word template using the
    Template Designer. The XML scheme is not displayed in the word
    document. This only happens if we use an enhanced web service.
    Anyone familiar with this issue?
    Kind regards,
    Johan Wigert

    Hi,
    You may have to upgrade your MS word 2003 to MS Word 2007.
    Before you do that please opening View > toolbars > Task Pane and check if you can get XML Schema from the web service.

  • C4C & Lotus Notes integration for service users

    Hi,
    I tried to find information about C4C and Lotus Notes integration for service users without success. User manual says on Sales both Outlook and Notes, but in Service only Outlook. Does Lotus Notes add-in work for service users similar than sales users? Is there anywhere demo video for that? I can only found demo video for sales (SAP Sales OnDemand Outlook Integration Demo (new) - YouTube).
    -Aatos

    Hi Aatos,
    The Lotus notes integration currently supports the "Field Service" role in Cloud for Service where you are primarily servicing customers in the the field and have direct email communications with your customers. In this use-case, similar to "Field Sales" (AKA SFA Users) in Cloud for Sales, you can receive an email from a customer, get information about that customer from Cloud for Customer via the Lotus Integration, and be able to upload that email into Cloud for Customer as an email activity to track the email correspondence between the user and the customer.
    However, the Lotus notes integration does not support the "Call Center" role in Cloud for Service where you are a contact center agent in a centralized service center processing emails that are routed into a common inbox and all correspondence is sent out in behalf of a central inbox such as [email protected] In this usecase all emails automatically create tickets and all emails both inbound and outbound are automatically recorded as email activities without customer or user intervention. The email client for this usecase is either a C4C email client or Windows Outlook Client as you found in the documentation.
    Thanks,
    Rei

  • Change location and plant for Internal Goods/services

    Hi all,
    I want to change the plant and location information of product/material for SC item selected from Internal goods/services.
    I am changing the plant and location -  ( partner function 75 ) in  doc change badi but its getting reset to originial value .
    Even if i see item check the value is getting replaced with original value.
    My question is can I change Plant/location for item selected from Internal goods/services. I could succesfully change the value when I selected item from catalog.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks.

    yes I have assignned the plant i mean BE_plant in the specified badi.
    But still its getting overwritten. So im guessing is that possible for internal goods/services.

  • List of all service parameters for Integrated ITS

    Hi,
    I am looking for the complete list of service parameters for Integrated ITS, with explanation about each of them. Ex: ~command, ~sap-user etc. I have tried searching in help.sap.com and in this forum and SDN blogs. I could find only some of them. I am not looking for anything particular right now. If I have the complete list it would help me to refer the list if I need any one in particular.
    I would really appreciate if anybody can help me in this search.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sudhakar.

    Hello Sudhakar,
    The best location for ITS Parameter documentation is the online SAP Library at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/54/4d9993c6592941a407313a6763575c/frameset.htm
    Here under "Configuration" you will find a list of parameters for developers and administrators.

  • Change label for "Internal Goods/Services"

    Hi all,
    In SRM550, Internet Service BBPSC01, template SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS 110, I would like to change the description of the text "Internal goods/services".
    I guess this is corresponding to the BTN_INTERNAL_PRODUCTS.label in the code.
    However, I am not sure how to change it and where to find the corresponding translation.
    Thanks and regards

  • CUCM returns internal service error for un-allocated numbers

    Setup...
    ITSP----sip---CUBE1------sip----CUCM
         ------sip----CUBE2-----sip---CUCM
    Calls come in via the ITSP to CUBE via SIP. CUBE then send the call to CUCM via sip signalling. This call is matched to a xlation pattern in CUCM, which then xlates the called number to an internal extension.
    The issue that was brough to my attention recently is that when users dial an unallocated number within the DDI range, the calls go into a loop. So I pulled up the traces and to my horror, CUCM doesnt send un allocated/un assigned number back to CUBE rather cucm sends an internal service error...Hence CUBE continues to another dial-peer which matches the secondary CUCM and then finally tries another dial-peer which is for outbound calls to the ITSP. As a result of this, ITSP sends the call back to our CUBES and the call goes into a loop...An excerpt of the trace is shown below:

    Question is why such a behaviour by CUCM. Is it because the call is sent to a xlation pattern first..Any remedies?

    "opportunity is a haughty goddess who waste no time with those who are unprepared"

    This is for the benefit of anyone who experience a similar issue like this..
    Cisco CUCM and CUBE by default do not drop a call when it receives a 486  busy, 404 not found or out of bandwidth. They reroute for all cause codes other than Out of Bandwidth, User Busy, and Unallocated Number.
    For CUCM, the value of the associated service parameters for the Cisco Call Manager service determines the rerouting decision for those cause codes. The Cluster wide Parameters (Route Plan) : Stop Routing on Out of Bandwidth Flag, Stop Routing on User Busy Flag, and Stop Routing on Unallocated Number Flag service parameters, determines what re-routing decision happens in this scenario.
    All well and good fro CUCM, but what about CUBE...
    We can also tell CUBE what to do in this circumstances just as with CUCM. The magic is to use the voice hunt command
    #conf t
    no voice hunt unassigned-number
    no voice hunt invalid-number
    no voice hunt user-busy

  • Does location based services (LBS) work for international locations (outside the USA)?

    Does location based services (LBS) work for international locations (outside the USA)? For example does it work in Canada, European countries etc. Any help is appreciated.

    Yes, but possibly limited to coverage of Skyhook database..
    Applications that use location services also use the data from Skyhook...
    Skyhook is a service that records the MAC addresses of Cell Base stations/towers and wireless access points.
    Google Maps vehicles records the wireless AP data at the same time they get street view images.
    There was some controversy over this - but they effectively record the location and the MAC address of any AP they find as they drive round. This gets sent to a massive database at Skyhook and is used to either locate without GPS or enhance/aid the GPS information. It's also why the location is always the road outside!
    If your location/MAC relationship has not been mapped by Skyhook, Google or others - then the good news is that you can add it - although it can take a month or two at least - to work. The reason is that it depends which database is being used by Skyhook's clients..
    Add your Wireless Access Point (or Wireless Router) here: http://www.skyhookwireless.com/howitworks/submit_ap.php
    The main website for Skyhook is here: http://www.skyhookwireless.com
    Hope that helps...!
