Sorry, its not possible to reset the order back to created (CRTD).
If necessary, close the old orders and recreate new ones.

As far as I know the standard behaviour is that the PR is created upon order save and not upon the status of the order or items changing to released.
To get around this you can set user status and use status management to prevent the PR getting created or use the BADI CRM_SRV_FIND_LOG_SC to supress creation of the PR.

How to get informed when PO / Contract changed to ordered / released status

Hi,
I am working on a program which sends SRM PO and Contract data to a non-SAP system, one of the requirements is to send SRM data immediately after PO / Contract's status changed to Ordered / Released ( workflow is used here ).
I tried to used BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI, but noticed throuhg debugger that the last time this BADI get called, I still didn't see Ordered / Released status in the Status table.
Is any way to know status change for PO / Contract ?

Solution 1:
You can use the SRM Alert Mangament to know when a contract was released, specifically the following events RELEASED_AGAIN
RELEASED_NEWLY.
Check IMG Cross-Application Basic Settings-> Event and Event Schema for Alert Management
For PO I could not find a similar event, but there is a APPROVAL_PROCESS_DOC_APPROVED event which can be used if the PO was approved after ordering.
In any case you can create your own events and event handlers using the SRM Alert Management BAdi BBP_ALERTING.
Solution 2: Only for Contracts
You can use the existing Distribution mechanism to distribute contracts to Non-SAP systems.
Distribution of contracts is triggered whenever significant changes are done to the Contract (like Release, Lock, Unlock).
Implement function module NOR3_CTR_TRANSFER for this purpose.

User exit for Service order release ( needed operation details as import )

Hi All,
   I need a user-exit while service order release( tcode : IW31 ) activity . I find some of the exits, but none of those not having "Operation" details , all are having only header details. Please suggest if any user-exit is available for this or BADI . I tried with badi "ALM_ME_001_ORDER" , its not triggering at all while creation of service order.
   Is there any way we can get from operation data from buffer, please suggest me the same.

Purchase requisition generated before service order release

Dear Experts,
We're testing the Logistics Integration Scenario for the Procurement of materials.
When we enter a spare parts item(which is configured to create a purchase requisition in ERP)
and just save the service order,
the purchase requisition is created in ERP as soon as the order is saved even though the order is not Released.
Is this a standard behavior?
We expect that the purchase requisition should not be created until the service order is released.
This symptom happens not only with purchase requisition scenario but also with the purchase order, reservation, too.
Does anyone have an information on this? Any information would be highly appreciated.

Service Order Release

HI Experts,
I am creating a service order automatically froma repair order (sales document), the service order is relaese automativally at the time of creation, this was working perfectly fine but now it is not working, i am not able to figure out what could be the reason why it is not releaseing automativally now.

Hi to all experts out there!
Further to the problem outlined w.r.t. permits, I have the following issue:
1. PM order status: CRTD (not released yet)
2. Perform planning to accumulate cost within the 1st (or higher) level of permit to be issued.
3. If the user saves the order before release, the system will not allow release before issuing of permit afterwards - INTENTIONAL.
4. However, the system does allow RELEASE of PM order (directly after planning) and then save BEFORE issuing of permit - LOOP HOLE.
In SAP standard I am unable to find a config setting to prevent the situation in point 4.
Any suggestions to resolve the above issue?

Service order - System status

Dear All
Here is my business process
Create Service order
Confirmation
Technical complete
Create service billing request(Debit memo)
Create Invoice
After completion of all above process I display DOCUMENT FLOW
for service billing request & invoice it showing status complete
But when I see system ststus in service order is shows status PTBL - Partially billed even though I had fully invoice
please advice

Hi,
It is normal behaviour, see note [504180|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/504180] that explains further. The status partially billed is set when the first debit memo request is created and is not changed later. There is not a complete billed status set so the PTBL status remains on service order.

Status in Service Order Confirmation-relevant items

Hi SDNs,
When I create a confirmation follow-up from a service order / repair order/ etc, an set it to completed, relevant items in order keep in released status. Shouldn't they get completed too?

Hi Pablo,
As of now standard SAP Service Order Confirmation status completion will not change the status of the preceding Service Order. But the customers can call and implement this scenario using the BadI : ORDER_SAVE which gets called after every Save. I feel that customers can hook their business specific logic here and thus can control the Status Management. Status of Service Confirmation is very important as it triggers the subsequent processes like Billing and Delivery.
Do you have such scenario where you need to change the preceding document? It would be great if you can share it in the forum.

Service Order status change thro' Action

After completing billing, thro the action I am changing service order user status as completed. i hv written my code in class method.
After billing as action runs my code from method execute and changes the status properly and gets save into system but action status shows incorrectly processed and comes in red colour in action monitor. following is my code plz help me

Are you processing status codes out of sequence? Talk to your functional specialist or look at the status config for these documents...sounds like you're going to completed without first setting a status code that would have to be there prior to your status code...I seem to recall doing status changes for these documents that were a multi-step process...set TECO, then CLOSED or something like that?

Status Update of Service Order From Billing Document

Dear Experts,
I am told to change the User status of Service Order once the Billing Document is Generated.
Here we are in CRM 2007 and i have done the status update of previous document but here
Billing document is not possible to read through CRM_ORDER_READ (function module).
Do any one have any idea how do i proceed.

read order data using crm_order_read and change the status using

Check the below FMs :-
STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN : This is used to set or delete User Status
STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN :This is used to set or delete System Status
STATUS_READ : This is used to read system status or user status
First check up via User status , with proper status numbers
If ur having many different than better u can go for user exit : IWO10009 PM Order: Customer Check for 'Save' Event. to check at save and set status accordingly ...
For reading latest status - u may have to read from structure i think ..
Tables :- JEST, TJ02T,TJ20 etc

Several service cofirmations can be possible from one service order Item

Dear Experts,
We create a service order with one service item and create a service confirmation via follow-up function.
After saving the service confirmation, the status of the service order Item is changed from "Released" into "Confirmed".
Even though the status of the service item is "Confirmed", we can create a new service confirmation
for the same item again and again until we set the status "Completed" in the service order header.
Is the system working as designed?
Could anyone advise how we can prevent the users from creating a new service confirmation
from the service item which has been already confirmed(the service order header status is still "Released")?
Any information would be highly appreciated.

In standard process , multiple confirmations are possible for a single service order. there are number of reasons for this
1. Mutiple engg are working on single service order. and each engg post separate time and expenses in the confirmation
2. in case of service order which cannot be completed in a single day. and engg want to book the time daily
you can still restrict the user to create multiple confirmations using code.
