Set AS-PATH prepend by matching RT value during import

Hi,
Can some one please explain how to match RT value and set AS-PATH prepend while importing the routes in to a VRF ?
I know AS-PATH prepention can be done with export-map when exporting routes along with setting a RT value. But for some reason this can't be done while importing to the VRF. Please help
Thanks in advance,
Anil.

Anil,
I did some more research and tested it to be working. you were not able to set AS-PATH prepend in an import-map due to the following bug.
I tested the workaround in my lab. If you set local-preference along with as-path prepend then it works fine.
CSCtj85371            Bug Details
import map with as-path prepend
Symptom:
AS_PATH prepend will only work if there is LOCAL  PREF defined inside a outbound routemap. If there is only AS_PATH  prepend and no LOCAL_PREF, BGP will not prepend the paths with defined  AS values.
Conditions:
AS PATH prepend will not be pre-pended properly
Workaround:
Configure LOCAL_PREF along with AS_PATH prepend

  • Set as-path prepend last-as doesn't work ?

    I'm trying to use this statement on a route-map to an IBGP peer in order to make a particular AS-PATH to appear longer but it doesn't seem to be working.
    Here's my route-map, which is applied inbound from the neighbor I want to pad. It seems so logical yet it isn't working.
    Any ideas would be welcomed.

    If you look at the BGP decision process:
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk365/tk80/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094431.shtml#bestpath
    You'll see that one of the steps is the IGP metric (step 8). So, if all other factors are equal up to the IGP metric, and it sounds like they are, as long as the IGP cost to reach the next hop along one path is shorter in one direction, that direction will be chosen. It seems to me that setting the IGP metrics so the one path is chosen over the other one is the thing to do here, if you don't want to use local pref.
    It's also possible to use a cost community within your AS to inject a new "cost" into the decision algorithm.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1829/products_feature_guide09186a00801bbad4.html
    The current insertion point is just after the IGP metric, which sounds perfect for what you are doing, if the IGP metrics are all the same.
    Hope that helps...

  • ORA-22922: nonexistent LOB value  during import

    During the import of a dump file of a database with a table holding
    several CLOB column I get the error message 'ORA-22922: nonexistent LOB value'
    the import is partially rolled back and fails in the end.
    How can I get around this problem? Is there any way to check the locators in the
    original database table if there is any LOB value missing?

  • Server failed to start: The domain path does not match the running server

    Hi,
    I've configured Eclipse to run my local weblogic - which actually is working fine.
    The server starts as intended and reaches state RUNNING.
    As soon as this happens, OEPE tries to validate the server and compares the identified server's configuration to the expected configuration.
    This finally results into the error message shown in the subject -- though server is still running.
    !MESSAGE Server watcher[Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 PatchSet 1 at localhost]:The domain path does not match the running server.
    Domain RootDirectory retrieved from the MBean of running server is: N:\Oracle\MIDDLE~1\USER_P~1\domains\MYWEBL~1\
    Domain RootDirectory of this server: N:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\myWeblogicServer
    Obviously this seems to be an issue with the length of the directory and file names. The domain's configuration and all its start scripts do not have any 8+3 pathes, like USER_P~1 for user_projects. Nevertheless the MBean of the server returns such a "truncated" path which in turn is invalid for OEPE.
    Fix: When setting up the domain in Eclipse, try using that 8+3 representation of the domain's location. Then the comparison will succeed...
    My Question: Where do we need to ask for a fix in OEPE? The 8+3 path is still a valid one ...
    Best Regards
    Philipp

    I haven't been able to reproduce this and 8+3 representation of the domain's location shouldn't be required.
    Can you provide more information:
    - is this a network drive?
    - what is your OS: XP, Vista, Win7?
    - what is the Windows file system type, is it FAT or NTFS
    - Can you try install WLS on C:, e.g. C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects and see if it still happens?

  • How can i set a path for my deployment files in weblogic server 10.3

    Hi
    How can i set the path for my WAR ,JAR files while deploying.i am using the wls10.3 version.
    is there any scripts for this ,please provide me.
    my Application is ADF 11g application.

    By "path", I assume you mean "classpath".
    The simplest way is simply to include the jars you need inside the web application or web module's WEB-INF/lib directory, EJB module's META-INF/lib directory, or EAR lib directory.
    If that's not practical, if you use NodeManager to start your servers, you can go to the "Server Start" tab in the server definition in the WebLogic console and edit the "Classpath" field, which defaults to no value. You can specify a classpath value there. Note that if you specify a value there, it REPLACES the default classpath for the server, it doesn't add to it. If you need to just add to it (a much more likely scenario), if the value references the value "$CLASSPATH" in it, that will reference the original classpath value that the server would have had.
    So, for instance, if you wanted to include the MQ jars in the server classpath, you could set a value like this:
    /usr/java/mq/lib/mq.jar:/usr/java/mq/lib/mqstuff.jar:$CLASSPATH

  • Setting the path in Windows98

    Hello,
    I'd like to run my java application on a computer with Windows 98, and not in the java bin directory. I'm familiar with setting the path variables in Windows XP. You go to control panel -> System -> Advanced -> Environment Variable -> and set them as you like. In Windows 98 there seems to be no such method. Instead I'm hacking away at the autoexec.bat file, but I still can't seem to get it to work. Currently, this is what my autoexec.bat file looks like:
    REM [Header]
    @ECHO OFF
    REM [CD-ROM Drive]
    REM c:\windows\command\mscdex /d:gem001
    REM [Miscellaneous]
    REM [Display]
    REM [Sound, MIDI, or Video Capture Card]
    REM [Mouse]
    c:\windows\cwcdata\cwcdos.exe
    PATH=c:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_01\bin;c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_01\bin;
    CLASSPATH=c:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_01\bin;c:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_01\bin;
    I put the path to both the JRE and JDK in both the PATH and CLASSPATH variables just to be sure. From a DOS prompt, the "java" command seems to work from anywhere, but the "javac" command still only works in the bin directory. Can any think of where I'm going wrong?

    This is copied from the installation Instructions for the product you downloaded. (Note the use of quotation marks - eithr do that or uses the 8.3 format of the directory name)
    Microsoft Windows 98 - To set the PATH permanently, open the AUTOEXEC.BAT file and add or change the PATH statement as follows:
    Start the system editor. Choose "Start", "Run" and enter sysedit, then click OK. The system editor starts up with several windows showing. Go to the window that is displaying AUTOEXEC.BAT
    Look for the PATH statement. (If you don't have one, add one.) If you're not sure where to add the path, add it to the right end of the PATH. For example, in the following PATH statement, we have added the bin directory at the right end:
    PATH C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;"C:\PROGRAM FILES\JAVA\JDK1.5.0_<version>\BIN"
    Capitalization doesn't matter. The PATH can be a series of directories separated by semi-colons (;). Microsoft Windows searches for programs in the PATH directories in order, from left to right. You should only have one bin directory for a JDK in the path at a time (those following the first are ignored), so if one is already present, you can update it to jdk1.5.0_<version>.
    To make the path take effect in the current Command Prompt window, execute the following:
    C:> c:\autoexec.bat
    To find out the current value of your PATH, to see if it took effect, at the command prompt, type:
    C:> path

  • 11.1.1.4:Could not find the item selected to match the value of type Number

    Hi,
    I have a taskflow with an input parameter.
    The input parameter value is to be assigned to a list item as the default selected value.
    I have mapped the pageFlow scope parameter to set value to the list item using input page parameters defined in task flow.
    but When i Run the task flow the value does not get assigned to the drop down list and jdevloper console screen shows up the following message
    "Could not find the item selected to match the value 2 by type: oracle.jbo.domain.Number in LOV."
    But If I click the Lov to check the values it shows that value is present in the list.
    The same configurations works if the list of values is for a column with type as java.lang.String.
    Is it somethng different that is to be done for a Number field to assign value from a taskflow parameter?
    Edited by: user3067156 on Jun 25, 2011 3:34 PM

    Hi Jobinesh,
    I am assigning the default value in the task flow using input page parameters ...
    <view id="VIEW1">
    <page>/title.jsff</page>
    <input-page-parameter>
    <from-value>#{pageFlowScope.pInputTyp_Id}</from-value>
    <to-value>#{bindings.pTyp_Id1.attributeValue}</to-value>
    </input-page-parameter>
    </view id>
    It does not assign the value, if Bind variable(pTyp_Id1) NDtype and task flow input parameter(pInputTyp) class type, both are set to use type oracle.jbo.domain.Number.
    If I change both to use java.lang.String and additionally also change the VO defination the accept the bind variable of type string, it assigns the value correctly.
    Usecase:
    I have a a task flow for which has its first page a search page.
    The Search page is created using operation execute with params and dragging the query parameters on the page.
    The Query parameters are to be filled using a select one choice option and the list is bound to the master values.
    This task flow can be used inside a standalone page as a region to provide a search page
    The same task flow can be called from within another taskflow which will provide the default values for the drop down lists ..
    Since the search page is a jsff fragment i dont have a page on load handler to provide default values..
    So assiging the values using input page parameters defined in task flow view tag.
    For testing I am passing the taskflow input parameters by calling the task flow from a jspx page a region . When I configure this task flow a region in a page its asks for providing the values for the parameters
    And the same gets configured in my testpage def as
    <executables>
    <variableIterator id="variables"/>
    <taskFlow id="Flow1" taskFlowId="/WEB-INF/Flow1.xml#Flow1"
    activation="deferred"
    xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/controller/binding">
    <parameters>
    <parameter id="pTyp_Id" value="1207"/>
    </parameters>
    </taskFlow>
    </executables>

  • Cannot set selectOneChoice value during reload (value auto become null)

    Dear all,
    I have a problem that getting null value in the SelectOneChoice field in a table binded to
    a view object. If I change that SelectOneChoice to inputText, it works perfectly. The details
    of the situation is described as follows:
    I've binded a view objects with 8 attributes to a af:table, then I manually change
    2 of the inputText fields inside 'Column' fields of the table to inputlistofvalue and
    selectOneChoice. The code is as follow:
    <af:column sortProperty="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.AcNo.name}"
    sortable="false"
    headerText="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.AcNo.label}"
    id="c1" width="180"
    inlineStyle="font-family:'Times New Roman', 'Arial Black', times, Serif; font-size:medium;">
         <af:inputListOfValues value="#{row.bindings.AcNo.inputValue}"
              label="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.AcNo.label}"
              required="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.AcNo.mandatory}"
              columns="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.AcNo.displayWidth}"
              maximumLength="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.AcNo.precision}"
              shortDesc="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.AcNo.tooltip}"
              id="it1"
              model="#{bindings.AcNo2.listOfValuesModel}"
              autoSubmit="false"
              returnPopupListener="#{backingBeanScope.backing_ImportOpenBalance.returnListener}">
              <f:validator binding="#{row.bindings.AcNo.validator}"/>
         </af:inputListOfValues>
    </af:column>
    <af:column sortProperty="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.CurrencyCode.name}"
         sortable="false"
         headerText="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.CurrencyCode.label}"
         id="c2">
         <af:selectOneChoice value="#{row.bindings.CurrencyCode.inputValue}"
              label="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.CurrencyCode.label}"
              shortDesc="#{bindings.OpenBalanceVO1.hints.CurrencyCode.tooltip}"
              id="it2" autoSubmit="false"
              partialTriggers="cb1 cb2">
              <f:selectItems value="#{loginInfo.activeCurrencies}" id="currenciesList"/>
         </af:selectOneChoice>
    </af:column>
    And I have binded the returnPopupListener to returnListerner event handler to automatically
    set the Currency field (2nd field) after the user chose the Account field (1st field) from
    the input list of value:
    public void returnListener(ReturnPopupEvent returnPopupEvent) {
         RichInputListOfValues lovField = (RichInputListOfValues)returnPopupEvent.getSource();
         ListOfValuesModel lovModel = lovField.getModel();
         CollectionModel collectionModel = lovModel.getTableModel().getCollectionModel();
         JUCtrlHierBinding treeBinding = (JUCtrlHierBinding)collectionModel.getWrappedData();
         RowKeySet rks = (RowKeySet)returnPopupEvent.getReturnValue();
         List tableRowKey = (List)rks.iterator().next();
         DCIteratorBinding dciter = treeBinding.getDCIteratorBinding();
         Key key = (Key)tableRowKey.get(0);
         Row row = dciter.findRowByKeyString(key.toStringFormat(true));
         DCBindingContainer bc = getBindingContainer();
         DCIteratorBinding it2 = bc.findIteratorBinding("OpenBalanceVO1Iterator");
         OpenBalanceVOImpl viewObject = (OpenBalanceVOImpl)it2.getViewObject();
         FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
         ExpressionFactory elFactory = fctx.getApplication().getExpressionFactory();
         ValueExpression ve = elFactory.createValueExpression(fctx.getELContext(), "#{loginInfo}", LoginInfo.class);
         LoginInfo loginInfo = (LoginInfo)ve.getValue(fctx.getELContext());
         System.out.println("Return place: search date:" + loginInfo.getSearchDate());
         Row newRow = viewObject.createRow();
         String selectedAcNo = row.getAttribute("AcNo").toString();
         String selectedCurrency = row.getAttribute("CurrencyCode").toString();
         newRow.setAttribute("AcNo", selectedAcNo);
         newRow.setAttribute("CurrencyCode",selectedCurrency);
         newRow.setAttribute("OpenBal", 300);
         newRow.setAttribute("AvailBal", 200);
         newRow.setAttribute("CreateDate", new Date());
         newRow.setAttribute("EffectiveDate", loginInfo.getSearchDate());
         newRow.setAttribute("LockStatus", "N");
         viewObject.insertRowAtRangeIndex(rowIndex, newRow);
    The problem occurs when I use a 'createInsert' button to create a new row in the table,
    and then choose a value from the inputListOfValues. The new row refresh and get the value
    I chose in the first column in the new row. But the second column (currency field) is left
    as empty (null value). If I change the second column frmo selectOneChoice to inputText,
    the correct Currency value (e.g. "HKD" or "USD") can be shown. So I wonder if there is any
    additional tricks in order to set the selectOneChoice value during refresh.
    Additionally I have tried to check the state of the view object attributes during the refresh
    lifecycle and found that the following reload method (else place) is being reached 3 times after I click
    the 'ok' button in the popup up in the inputListOfValue.
    public void beforePhase(PagePhaseEvent event) {
         //System.out.println("i am here inside backing bean : before phrase 1 phrase ID:" + event.getPhaseId());
         if (event.getPhaseId() == Lifecycle.PREPARE_MODEL_ID) {
              if (!isPostback()) {
              } else {
                   System.out.println("Post Back on Page Load!");
                   DCIteratorBinding it2 = bc.findIteratorBinding("OpenBalanceVO1Iterator");
                   OpenBalanceVOImpl viewObject = (OpenBalanceVOImpl)it2.getViewObject();
                   RowSetIterator iterator = viewObject.createRowSetIterator(null);
                   iterator.reset();
                   while (iterator.hasNext()) {
                        //Row row = viewObject.getCurrentRow();
                        Row row = iterator.next();
                        System.out.print("Account:" + row.getAttribute("AcNo"));
                        System.out.print(",AvailBal:" + row.getAttribute("AvailBal"));
                        System.out.print(",OpenBal:" + row.getAttribute("OpenBal"));
                        System.out.print(",CurrencyCode:" + row.getAttribute("CurrencyCode"));
                        System.out.print(",EffectiveDate:" + row.getAttribute("EffectiveDate"));
                        System.out.print(",UserCreate:" + row.getAttribute("UserCreate"));
                        System.out.println("");
                        if (row.getAttribute("UserCreate").toString().equals("<current user>")) {
                             System.out.println("Match <current user> in preload");
                             //row.setAttribute("CurrencyCode", "USD");
                   System.out.println("end of reload");
    During the 1st time, the CurrencyCode field was set currently, but then in the 2nd and 3rd
    times, it's value suddenly changed to 'null'. If I use inputText, all the 3 times currencyCode
    field is showing correctly without the null issue.
    Anyone can kindly give me some hints? Thanks a lot!!!

                        System.out.print(",AvailBal:" + row.getAttribute("AvailBal"));
                        System.out.print(",OpenBal:" + row.getAttribute("OpenBal"));
                        System.out.print(",CurrencyCode:" + row.getAttribute("CurrencyCode"));
                        System.out.print(",EffectiveDate:" + row.getAttribute("EffectiveDate"));

                             //row.setAttribute("CurrencyCode", "USD");
                   System.out.println("end of reload");

  • Unable to set the path

    I have installed J2SDK1.2.1 & JDK1.3.0_02 in my system.I have declared the path in the environment variableslike this

    JAVA HOME I:\jdk1.3.0_02
    J2EE HOME I:\j2sdkee1.2.1
    this wont work if i open command prompt and if i type javac it gives
    'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.
    Again if i set the path in commandprompt then javac command works.And when i try to start the J2EE Server or if i try to use the DEPLOYTOOL it shows

  • Set slider path position via calc

    So I have a simple display icon (Icon title = Flash Movie
    Position Slider) object set with the following settings:
    Positioning = On Path
    Movable = On Path
    Base = 0
    Initial = 0
    End = 100
    I know how to get the current position using PathPosition or
    DisplayX, but how do I set it via code? I have tried using
    SetIconProperty for LocationX, BaseX, InitialX but none work. Other
    than just the user sliding the slider I want the slider to move on
    it's own during the flash video playing. I have the calculation
    down to set an X position based on the current frame, just cant
    find that magic setting to specify a value to the path to make it
    happen.
    PS: This is not using the WinCtrls slider just a basic
    Authorware path using a display icon.

    > Movie icon does not support swf flsh files.
    Yes I know.
    > All our videos are being converted
    > to flash so I must use a media icon and not a movie
    icon.
    The Flash Sprite help file will tell you how to get the
    equivalent of
    MediaPosition form a Flash movie. Open your Flash Sprite
    properties and
    press the Help button on the properties dialogue.

  • Set a path for ap

    Hi:
     I want to set path let ap can use,
    e.g: web_home="/var/www/html"
    then ap can call a file with relative Path,
    where/how shoule I set the path export?
    Thank you
                 newbit

    Hi All,
    I created a project in BCC using admin user and when I tried setting context to that project in merchandiser dyn admin, i got permission denied exception.

    How Can I add permission to the user to set context path in merchandiser dyn admin.

    Sorry forgot to update the post, I have tried following and failed:
    admin user being super-admin, I have added read,write,creare,delete privileges to it.
              I have tried adding guper-admin to both process and project item-descriptors in atg/epub/publishingSecurity.xml acl.
              <acl-property name="acl" />
                 <descriptor-acl value="Profile$role$ePubSuperAdmin:read,write,create,delete;   Newly added profile privileges
                                                           Profile$role$epubAdmin:read,write,create,delete;
                                                           Profile$role$epubManager:read,write,create,delete;
                                                           Profile$role$epubUser:read,write,create,delete;
                                                           Admin$role$administrators-group:read,write,create,delete" />
    On that page I was able to set context, but for other pages(components) Same exception came.
    Is there any problem with newly added acl-value: Profile$role$ePubSuperAdmin:read,write,create,delete?
    Also let me know if other changes are required.
    Thanks,
    Nitin.

  • How do I set project paths in JBuilder 4?

    Hello,
    I am trying to create a new project in JBuilder 4.
    I used the project wizard and set my paths to the following folders:
    C:\OU2007\TM427\mysolution
    However when the project and all files are getting saved to these folders:
    C:\Documents and Settings\Jason\jbproject
    Have you any idea why this is? Im a bit confused on what I should enter for each of the paths in the project wizard, any help would be appreciated.
    thanks,
    Jason.

    It's difficult to set a single font size without wrecking the display of most web sites. One alternative would be to store your preferred zoom level and apply that to all sites. This requires an add-on such as:
    * [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6965/ Default FullZoom Level]
    * [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/ NoSquint]
    Does that work for you?
