Hi All,
Recently in workflow UI, we have started seeing error given below. Any suggestions to fix this issue ??, how can we fix this issue, beacuse of this UI pages are displayed as blank page with follwoing error in backend. This was working fine until recently.

Imagine I have a desktop Firefox and an Android Firefox. I create an account and sync desktop Firefox with Android Firefox. Now I disconnect sync in my Desktop.
For one week sync is disconnected and I changed my bookmarks a lot. After a week I want to sync them again. But if I sync desktop I will lose my bookmarks! actually they return to last week.
What can I do? I must create another account? Is this way reasonable?
I use Firefox 32.0.3 and there is no pair device and other thing that were in previous versions.

Thank you for using the new Firefox Sync. The new feature of this sync has a few changes.
Yes, there is only one status for syncing between devices. All of the content is merged and each setting will only sync what you select. It is also not meant to be a back up service, just to sync data between devices.

I accidentally set my maps to align North, now I cant find the option to unalign it. I am on the 5800XM with Ovi Maps 3.03

This is set by the printer driver. If you can change it, there'll be a setting in your Print dialogue.
Look in the pop-up menu that says "Copies and Pages" for a "Paper Handling" item:

Needs guidance in setting direction!!!

I am basically a Mainframe Developer/Analyst and have IBM DB2 DBA Certification. I have decided to shift into SAP XI area and preparing for Certification.
     I would like to focus on some other related areas apart from XI. My idea is to learn ABAP (I heard it's similar to COBOL and won't take much time), MDM.
     Please suggest me based on your experiences, what areas I can focus based on my previous experience. Also suggest where can I find related information.

We have 3 nodes of OIM servers in our clustered production environment. While accessing OIM server on first node, following error is coming in the browser window -

The OIM UI is accessible on the other 2 nodes. There are no changes made in the environment. I have also attached the OIM diagnostic logs for your analysis.

I have followed the way to add JSF libray,
1)Right click the projet->project properties->javadoc->JSP taglibraries
2)Inside the Distributed Library i have selected the JSTL core 1.2 and click on add.
3) Then a new dialogue box of Choose tablibraries came.inside that only struts bean,struts Html etc are seeing.
What i need to select?..Do i am following the right way?

Hi,
Make sure you have the JSTL tag library selected in you deployment plan. Go to Project Properties->Deployments->your_deployment_profile->WWB-INF/Lib Contributors and check JSTL.

1. I am guessing you got this application/project from some other team member or from source code control system.
2. Basically looks like some tag libs are not getting resolved and hence this tag <wlc:taskHistory is not understood as a tag. Hence the syntax error.
3. In JDeveloper, select your TaskFormsUIProject that has this taskDetails1.jspx file. Right Click -> Project Properties.
4. In Project Properties window, on left side, select JSP Tag Libraries. On right side, I am betting you should see some entries in Red Color like "Worklist Component 1.0". Select this and on right side, see the location in the first field named TLD File: which is something like shown below. Now most probably this folder structure do not match with where you have JDeveloper in your machine. You need to fix this. First copy this value, so that you know where the JAR file is located.
C:/Oracle/Middleware/Jdeveloper115/jdeveloper/soa/modules/oracle.soa.worklist_11.1.1/adflibWorklistComponents.jar!/META-INF/worklistComponents.tld
5. Delete this entry. Click on Add button. In the pop up window, select like Project -> click on New button. Now browse and select the .jar file from your JDeveloper installed folder like for ex: C:/Oracle/Middleware/Jdeveloper115/jdeveloper/soa/modules/oracle.soa.worklist_11.1.1/adflibWorklistComponents.jar and hit OK Button. Now you should see a new entry added in Tag Libraries named "Worklist Component 1.0". Hit Ok. Save the Project. Compile once.
6. Redeploy your application/project the way you do. Test it.
Repeat the steps for any Tag Libraries that you see in Red Color. Note down the location first of the JAR file that has the .tld. Then remove it. Add a new entry and select this .JAR from your local JDev folder structure.

Deferred Syntax Error : ADF Business Rules

Hi all,
I am working on business rule implementation in my project . I have created a dictionary (.rule) file and added oracle rules and oracle rule editor component libraries to the project . The page fragement contains the rulesdc component which reads the dictionary file from a path . i have also added oracle.soa.rules_dict_dc.webapp.war to the integerated WLS Deployments section. when i run the page i get an error ' Error: Encountered deferred syntax #{ in template text. If intended as a literal, escape it or set directive deferredSyntaxAllowedAsLiteral' . I have also tried with having deferredSyntaxAllowedAsLiteral value true in the page which contains the rulesdc component but no use. the error still persists .
can anybody help in this case?

I'm currently browsing metalink kb but "7021469 - Business Rules should support dataexport and dataimportbin functionality" provides no results.
hbr_93300_readme.pdf refers indeee to that issue but I cannot upgrade to that version (because, as stated in that pdf, I should upgrade all prouducts to 9.3.3)
You said it might be solved in Administration Services release 9.3.1.5 (I believe 9.3.1.1.5 was a typo), but the readme does not mention it...

The page containing content presenter can not be shown properly

We use svn as source version control tool. In portal page template, I add one content presenter taskflow, it can be shown properly. But another developer download my code from svn and directly run in jdeveloper , it throws following error:

It's so strange problem.
Your stacktrace could be produced by next reasons:
- The application of your mate can't find the tag library. Double check Project Settings, classpath's and extension of WebCenter installed in your mate JDev.
- The component (dt:contentTemplate) can't be find at Runtime. Same procedure, double check that WebCenter extension is installed and running correctly another Content Presenter Templates.

Deferred syntax error while integration WSRP Portlets

Hi,
I have a webcenter application, in which :-
1. I have created WSRP Producer portlet from connection>New Connection>Portlet Producer in application Navigator.
2. Portlet Producer is created succesfully and started appearing under the resource pallet.
3. Later I create a new .jspx page and ran the page. It ran succesfully
4. Then I drag that portlet on the .jspx page and ran it again , then it errored saying :
"Error: Encountered deferred syntax #{ in template text. If intended as a literal, escape it or set directive deferredSyntaxAllowedAsLiteral"
If require I'll send the entire stack trace.
Please let me know if have any pointers, any leads will be really helpful.

I've deployed 11.1.1.6.0 and applied patch 14361677.
I've deployed my portlet to a custom portal and using EM, attached the WSS 1.0 SAML Token with Message Protection Service policy. I registered the WRSP portlet and specified WSS 1.0 SAML Token with Message Protection under the security section.
The portlet works fine in composer - it's when I save the page that I am finding problems.
Once I saved the page and try to stress test the portlet (i.e., press the button twice for instance), an error page is displayed indicating a time out.
If I navigate to another page and return to my page, the portlet does not render.
When I log out of WebCenter, the exception described in your post is thrown.
It would be great if Oracle provided documentation we are looking for.

Every jspx page is build on default page template pageTemplate_globe.jspx

Attribute 'showGreetings' already exists in page template.
What I assume is some thing in the project is corrupted as a result of which below statement for cust:panelCustomizable is giving the error. Please note this is default template from Webcenter with no changes at all.

If I create a new project, same template works fine. So I guess some jar or tag libs are missing. I tried to remove and add 'WebCenter Customizable Components Tag Library' (has prefix cust) again but that didn't worked.

We use UIShell.jspx as template of our page. When we run the page, we got this exception:

Selection problem of Ref op set while converting plnd to prod order

Hi PP Professionals,
Even though we have maintained 'manual slection (4)' for Tast list type- S (ref operation set), we are getting error 'Ref Op set is not valid' and in error help 'error in reading PP master data'.
Since the Routing is same for all the finished products, we want to assign Ref Op Set directly while creating production order.
We have already maintained parameters in 'order-type dependant parameters' and in 'task list selections's default and automatic selection'

I really appreciate for your kind Hint of SEL ID.
I created and assigned new 'Sel Priority' to the SEL ID same as for Routing.
Now while converting Planned order to Production order system is asking for Reference operation set as there is no such need of Routing as I already mentioned in previous post.
