Set message body and email id in SO01

Hi All,
My requirement is that i need to navigate a user to transaction SO01(New Message) with a predefined mail body and subject line. There agent will specify the email IDs and will click on send button to send the mail.
I am not getting how to prepopulate the message field with a predefined content.
Kindly help me out.
Regards,
Guddan

Use the function Module 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'.
This is most commonly used function module to send message to internal or external IDs.
You can send it in email too.
You can search more sample codes on the net.
You dont really have to call SO01, just give a pop-up asking for the recipient ID and populate the function module with pre-defined data. - unless the user wants a freedom to modify the pre-populated data.
If you want to give that freedom as well, then I would have to think.

    Hi Rick,
If you go to SO01, you will find there that  we need to set the mail body and subject line there and also specify some mail IDs there. So i want that mail body field and email IDs to be prepopulated....
I know how to navigate user to SO01 screen but how should i prepopulate the message body in SO01.

  • How to modify Exchange 2013 TXT(SMS) notifications to not include the subject line or any of the message body of emails

We have a group of users who are not permitted to download/save any emails they receive onto public or personal devices, they are only allowed to log in manually and view their mail through OWA (I realize there are ways to use OWA to download mail, however
the users are explicitly forbidden from doing this, and any countermeasures that can be put in place, are/will be).
With our new Exchange 2013 server, it seems it has the built in capability to send TXT(SMS) notifications instantly when a user receives mail.  We would like to allow our users to utilize this feature, however currently, the notification includes not
only the sender of the email, but also the subject line and part of the message body.  As it stands, we can't have this as part of the email would then be saved on their device.
I am wondering if there is a way to modify Exchange 2013 to not include the subject or message body, so that our users could at least get an instant notification 1-that they have a new email and 2-who it's from?
Any information would be appreciated, thanks!

We can configure SMS Text Message Notification for various situation like Calendar notifications, Voice mail notifications, Email notifications if your user's Mailbox hosted in Exchange Server 2013
To set up your phone to receive text messages when you want to have Calendar notifications, Voice mail notifications, Email notifications use the steps as follows
Note: Text message fees are applicable and it will appear on your phone bill.
Login to Outlook Web App, click Options > See All Options > Phone > Voice Mail tab.
In the Notifications section, choose one of the following options:
    Calendar notifications...
    Voice mail notifications...
Email notifications using an Inbox rule...
    Turn On Notification
First step is to turn on the notification of text messaging. Click Turn on Notifications
Select Setup Notification: Need to select your operator,
It will request to provide your Mobile Operator.
Note: As of now Exchange Server 2013 supports only the below list of operators.
    Locale: United State
Mobile Operator: AT & T, Sprint PCS, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless
    Locale: Canada,
    Mobile Operator:Bell Telus Mobility
    Locale: Romania
    Mobile Operator:Orange Romania
Provide your telephone number. It will send you the passcode on your mobile number.
    Type the passcode for confirmation
    Calendar Notifications:
On Selecting Calendar Notification: Select the option based upon your requirement.
    Email Notification Using Inbox Rule:
Similarly for the text messaging for the email notification, select the option based upon your requirement and setup them up

  • IBooks on iPad Sending 1 Page PDF as Part of Message Body in Email

iBooks is sending 1 page PDF documents inline as photos in email messages and multi page PDF documents as attachments.  How do you get iBooks to send 1 page PDF documents as attachments in an email instead of as a photo inline in the message body?

I am having the same problem and it is even bigger.
When opening a 1-page PDF in iBooks and sending it via mail it is sent inline as preview, but the recipient cannot open the file anymore. Also on iPad and iPhone the is no "open in" possible.
Somehow the mail app does destroy the file. What is going wrong?

  • How to set alert threshold and email alerts?

    Hi!
I have configured Solution manager 3.2 to monitor
    our R/3 systems.
I want to be able to set the threshold for  tablespace
usage and be able to send an email if the usage
of the tablespace is 80% full.
Could anybody tell how to implement it?
    Thanks!

    Hi Christy:
There are different approaches to configure alerts, if you are using Solution Manager; I think you can benefit if you choose SolMan and the Central System (CEN) to handle all the monitoring and email alerting.
If this is the case, you will need to install the CCMS Agents on every satellite system in order to trigger remote alerts.
Let me know what is your idea and I can follow with you with the required steps.

  • Mismatched message body and title

Weird problem on my work computer.....my IMAP accounts have mismatched message titles and body. It's not the case on my other devices(G5 or iPhone). An example would be that a message from person "Bill" has the message body from a message from "Jim". Re-syncing the accounts has no effect.

thanks. while waiting for responses to my question, I did a 'rebuild' and now all is in order.
For future readers: To rebuild your mailbox, highlight the name of the mailbox, then click the 'Mailbox' menu and select the last option 'Rebuild'. It will take awhile for it to run this process so don't expect immediate results.

    Dear Graham
I am already big fan of yours and using mail to many Addin from years from word 2007 to Word 2010 :) and still loving it and I use it for access re-authorization from Lines for application accesses . I tried and finally got understanding of the Extract to
mail Addin and after tweaking excel - Text To columns and other few things finally i was able to get the required data - from morning to now :) I am happy to see your provided guidance
Thanks alot - by the way why your Mail to many add-in is so slow now these days :) previous versions usually help me send 1000 emails in 10 minutes now it takes long time :)

  • I'm still getting email in "messages" folder and email folder

I have the 8330 curve, I've set my options to sepreate but my emails still appear in both folders. I would like to keep them seperate from my txts. Anyone else having this problem?

Email is messages, and your BIS account email will always go to the main messages folder.
To remove your SMS text messages to their own folder:
Open your Messages folder > Press the Menu key > Options > General Options and scroll down to:
Email and SMS inbox = Separate.
    And save.
If you have already done that, find your SMS on your device, and you will find your SMS messages.

  • Messages List and Email Checking Question

Is there a way to list ONLY emails in the Messages screen?  I don't want to see Twitter alerts or call log info, JUST emails.
Also, is there way a to check for emails manually?  When I am home, I don't care about getting the emails on my phone so I want to be able to set how often it checks.

If you hit the green phone icon, hit the menu button and go into Options. From there go into Call Logging. You can set this to None to prevent the calls from appear in Messages. Not sure about Twitter as I don't use that app. There may be an option for that as well.
There isn't an option to check for email manually. If you're on a BES then emails will be delivered at the same time as in your email client. If you're using a POP account like Hotmail then it will poll for new email every 15 minutes. If your using an IMAP account  like Gmail then it's delivered almost instantaneously to the device. You can disable an email account but then you have to remember to re enable it to continue to get emails to the device.

  • PowerShell, email report with specific word in the body and email status.

    Hello,
    I've two doubt:
    1) I need to create a Powershell script that return a report if a "keyword or string" is present in the body/message. Can I do it? I've tried to find something but probably I can't.
    2) Can Powershell return the status of email (READ/NOT READ)? Example: a query return all mail sent by me, i would like see if receiver has read or unread the email.
    I've Exchange 2010 SP2.
    Thank you.

Below are the links of few informative articles. These can help to resolve the issue.
http://tinyurl.com/lonryjy (You can monitor the complete system report including (body/message) even on daily basis.)
http://tinyurl.com/mlwgq6p (This link comes with an option to provide the static report of your sent email either the receiver has read your mail or still pending.)
In addition, you can also use automated exchange reporting tools like
this in case you are not able to do this with script.

  • Backup Phone Messages (SMS and Emails) on a Mac

    Hi guys,
I know that iSync lets you backup your phone contacts and calendar to Mac, but how about Messages (email and SMS)? Is there any application that can do this, free or otherwise?

I found this application called Fonelink:
    http://www.novamedia.de/e_pages/e_produkte_mac_fl.html
It's almost like Nokia PC Suite. It has file manager and can do backup and restore!
But... it only backs up contacts, calendar, multimedia, SMS.. but not email!

  • How do I add text message to this email with PDF attachment?

    Good day, everyone!
Okay, we have a "z"-version of program RFFOUS_T and some of its include codes.  One include code, RFFORIO6, has a form called MAIL_PDF_ADVICE.  It is in this form that we are emailing a remittance advice form.  The actual form is attached as a PDF file.
Unfortunately, there's no text in the body of the email -- it's just the attachment -- so the users would like us to add a couple basic lines in the body of the email that explain the attachment.  I'm pretty new to using this particular FM and emailing the PDF attachment, and I've gotten stuck in my research trying to find out exactly how to do this.  I'm guessing this shouldn't be all that difficult, but I'm not finding the right solution.  Here's the form:

    Hi Dave,
Table <b>contents_bin</b> is used to pass attachment file and <b>contents_txt</b> is used to pass mail body contents. You need to declare one more int table to give contents for mail body.
For reference check the code below
    ut_message is for message body
