Set Portal Incidents to Active When User Adds Comment

Following on from this thread,
I am wondering if it is possible to adjust the workflow to include the parent incidents properties, such as source. My aim is to only use this workflow for incidents updated via the portal as the Exchange connector handles comments added via email.
I would assume that the trouble ticket user comments > has user comment relationship would need to be involved somewhere with a seedrole='target' in order to reference the parent however I'm unsure how I would combine this within the context of the add
relationship. Would a simple 'AND' join work?

there is some replication time between Active Directory controllers, so it's maybe why the user can still log with old password.
You can adjust the logon/password rules in configtool (com.sap.security.core.ume.service, and see ume.logon.security*).

    I have a user that when they send calender invites, when they add people in the 'to' field they will appear multiple times. i.e the contact address, the full email address etc.
    We have re - imaged the PC, re created the users PST file, run outlook in online mode, Moved the users account to another DB, and still no progress, duplicates are still appearing

    Has anyone had to deal with this problem before, if so how was it resolved, if it was ever resolved, Help would be greatly appreciated as we are scratching our heads in IT here

    As per the description, I understand that you'll have duplicate email addresses in the To... field when create calendar invites.
    In order to understand the issue more deeply, I would like to clarify the following questions:
    How did he/she "add people" in the To... field? Did he/she directly type email address or pick it from your address book?
    Will the duplicate happen right after adding people in the To... field or after sending the invites?
    Seems you've tried a lot on the machine side, I suggest we first try this on OWA (Outlook Web App) and see if issue persists. This will help to determine whether the issue is on the client side or the mailbox (server) side.

    I dont know about possibility how to continue the process of adding in case, that there will be some user input like msgbox, inputbox or something else. The only way how to do it (in my oppinion) is to at the end of the code set bubbleevent to true (maybe the msgbox sets it to false).  You have 2 choices how to recevie invoice details:
    - in case of beforeaction = true receive it from active form
    - in case of beforaction = false receive number of invoice and through object get details of invoice

  • Setting disk quota on Mac server for Active Directory users

    I'm having trouble setting disk quotas for Active Directory users with home folders on our Mac server.
    I've enabled disk quotas on the disk I'm putting home folders on, and I can set disk quotas for local users on the server just fine. But it doesn't seem to work for Active Directory users. I've tried setting disk quotas via Workgroup Manager and via the command line using edquota. But when I use the repquota command there is no quota entry for the AD user. I've run quotacheck and that didn't help either.
    I also understand there's a setquota command but there's no man page on how that works.
    Has anyone got disk quota for AD users working.
    Better still has someone got a shell or perl script for setting quotas they could post.

    sorry.. I am soooooo stupid... I have to activate "File Sharing" as well.. for the user everything was already pre-activated, not for the AD users, I just saw the Time Machine checkbox grayed out ...

  • How to display active directory users through weblogic portal Application?

    Does anyone has faced this situation?
    I configured the activedirectory and able to see the users and group in the weblogic console at Security->Realms->Myrealm->users. when I run my portal application,I am able to see only the users that are configured in embedded weblogic LDAP ie, I can see only the users weblogic,portaladmin and yahooadmin that are of defaultauthenticator provider.I need to display the active directory users also in our portal.
    I have two doubts on this?
    1)Is it I need to write custom code to view the active directory users in our portal?
    2)Does I need to use any jars that supports active directory authenticator?
    I would appreciate if any one can reply on this with helpfull docs/information.
    We are using BEA 8.1 SP4.

  • How to set Preferences such that new tabs open to same page as active when Command-T was hit?

    On opening a new tab, the tab by default opens to thumbnails based on recent history. A la Safari, I want the new tab to open *to same page as was active when Command-T was hit*. What are the specific steps to take, to set as the default (preference), new pages to open to "Same page"? ("Same page" is Safari's check box in its Preferences.)
    Note, I have navigated available Mozilla Support, and using about:config have reset browser.newtab.url so that the new tab appears blank (discontinuing tracking of recent history for this purpose).
    Note, more importantly, I have found this Support Forum article, which, though challengingly written, has given me a temporary solution:

    (The temporary solution for the Mac OS is to Command-click on the "Reload current page" icon in the url/Address box in the browser toolbar, which opens a new tab in the same window.)

    In the settings page of my application, I want to add a group of settings pertaining to a particular setting requirement. So when a user clicks an "Add" button, a legend type control should come up with required set of controls like text boxes
    and/or toggle buttons inside where the user can enter their custom settings and save it. Now if the user again click on "Add" button, again a set of controls should be displayed where a user can set up some settings for other user scenarios.
    So my question is how to implement this, and how to access the parent legend control, and access the values of the child element, to get the values of the setting values entered by the user.
    I hope my question is clear?.
    Any help or suggestions regarding this would be great.

  • How to set Portal Theme for WDA iView different from user's Theme

    I have dual-stack system: ABAP server + Java. I have WDA application in ABAP server and I deployed it to NW Portal via iView (using template).
    There are two themes customized:
    1:  Standard - to be used for all iviews except WDA iviews. This theme is set as default for user.
    2.: WDA theme - to be used for some WDA iviews IRRESPECTIVELY what them is set in personalization settings of the user.
    So my question is:
    Can I somehow set the Portal Theme to be used for specific iView no matter what Theme user has selected in his personalization?
    Or if its not possible, can I set some specific Theme for WDA application?
    So taks is to overcome settings for default portal theme for user and replace it with different theme. Is this possible?

    Are you using an LDAP as your UME, or are the user records from from R/3 ?
    Apparently  (Ive never done it) you used to be able to force a default language by editing this file (back in the EP5 days):
    <J2EE root>\WEB-INF\portal\system\properties\prtDefault.properties
    Look at the following lines :
    This is the default language to be used when none is specified
    request.defaultlanguage=en
    request.defaultcountry=us
    If you prefer to have the same language for all users no matter their user locale, change the lines to this :
    This is the default language to be used when none is specified
    request.mandatorylanguage=en
    request.mandatorycountry=us

    You need to enter the Apple ID and password that was used to set up/activate the phone. There is no way around this.
