Set security at app level

Hello, Is it possible to set security for a group at the application level so it automatically trickles down to the databases below (even new ones)? Thank you in advance.

We do use incremental dimension builds and we haven't seemed to have a problem about errors not written to the error log. If the on error write to isn't working for you, try the on error append to. Sometime in the not so distant past, the write and append functions were flopped causing a bug of the first degree. I'm no longer onitoring production processes, moving on to development and documentation, but I've written quite a bit of MAXL in the past and much prefer it to ESSCMD.

Hello! I recently registered a Twitter account. iOS 6 includes Twitter integration - great. When I navigate to Settings - Twitter and tap the Install button, a dialog shows up: "Improve your Apple ID security" and "Set security questions" blah blah. There are two buttons in the dialog, "Set questions" and "Cancel". If I tap Cancel, Twitter app download doesn't begin and Twitter icon disappears from my SpringBoard. If I tap "Set questions", I need to answer some stupid questions. If I leave answer boxes empty, I can't continue. I will not set any security questions for my Apple ID, that's for sure.
How I can install Twitter app?

I just encountered the same problem when I tried to download Twitter on my husband's new iPhone 5. There was no problem when I installed Twitter on my iPhone 3GS yesterday :-(
You've probably seen by now that there are many, many people who are having problems with the 'Help improve Apple ID security' message - not confined to iPhone but also on iTunes, iPod Touch, iPad etc.
I chose the 'Not Now' button on his iPhone 5 and the Twitter app wouldn't allow me to proceed ....
Looks like Apple aren't in any hurry to fix this because people have been complaining about it for months (after all, your post is more than 3 months old and the problem is still occurring).
Were you ever able to activate Twitter on your iPhone 4S?

Data-level security in user level

Hi All,
In our OBIEE we have created several application roles and assign them to the users. We set data-level security for each application role, and the filter does apply to all related users. But we want to do more specific data-level security for each user, which we did by clicking on user name in Manage Identity, and set permission with additional data filter. But this does not work.
Let's say we have Application Role1 with access to region='Asia', but then we want to set User1 to access only subregion='North Asia' and User2 to access only subregion='South East Asia', where User1 and User2 belongs to Application Role1.
Is this possible to work in OBIEE 11g?

Can you set security on Collab folders or just projects?

I know this is the Content Services forum, but I couldn't find a forum for Collab. Anyone know if you can set security to the folder level in Collab 4.0.2 or can you only set it to the project level?

thanks for the clarification...there is no concept of setting security on actual project folders. Security is managed on an individual project basis.

How to deploy app level JMS resource using DeployerRuntime?

I have an app level (described in the app, not global) JMS module. And inside this module I have several different resources.
 Here is my question: when using weblogic.management.deploy.DeployerRuntime (or WLST) what syntax should I use in case I need to set target for each JMSResource?

Thanks for the reply, it worked.
Another doubt on the same lines. Now that the jar has been deployed as a library in WLS, when i try to deploy a WAR which refers to this deployed jar library, im unable to. I run into and error stating that the library is inaccessible.
I have to bounce the server and before doing that, i have to manually copy the library.jar from <WLS_domain>/servers/AdminServer/upload/ directory to <WLS_domain>/lib/ directory, once copied i then try to deploy the WAR, then the deployment goes fine.
Is there any means that this deployed library jar be made available soon after deployment and also to avoid copying the file.

What I suggest is that you try to pair your apple ID with you company ipad and see if it works.
Here is why::
I believe that the Apple rules let you. They are something like:
-- for a shared iDevice, you may put the app on one device
-- for a device you use exclisively, you may put the app on five (or some number) of iDevices
I'm not lawyer, so how you interpred this is a question.
Now, you need to figure out how to do this.
In the past at least, apple used this terminalogy.

    Layered. combines personal & institution.
It depends on how your company has configured the iPad.

How to set at the server level to log transport request in SAP ME

so I can use transport request for other client or server.

There is no "transport request" in SAP ME, however, there is Configuration Data Transfer Export/Import activity which can export the data to ZIP file at the source site and then import that file at the destination site.
CDT activity can utilize CTS+ as a transport channel but I would suggest ZIP file instead because the file can be edited manually in case of any issue or if you want to remove some data.

Error message when starting - Set Config. App.

New member here! I have searched an looked at these forums for some time but only now joined. Should have done it before.
Operating system is MS XP Pro,
Printer involved is HP LaserJet 1150
Computer is a Fujitsu LIfebook that is used in several field offices and at home.
On start or re-start, the final action is a screen message stating "Set Config. App. has encountered an error and needs to close". This is a Microsoft message and has the option to send/don't send an error message.
Sending the error message then clicking the more information button brings up a screen stating the error is in a printer driver with links to HP support.
This is an irritant rather than a problem because selecting "don't send" closes the screen and if I do nothing all programs work ok and the little message screen stays on bottom. The printer works fine.
With some time on hand, and not knowing which HP printer was causing the message, I uninstalled all printers and begin a re-install. I have the disk for the LaserJet 1150 which has an earlier driver. I downloaded the latest (2004) dirver and there was the error message still.
The only related thing I can think of is that HP Image Zone Express cannot be un-installed in any way. Using Control Panel - Add/Remove or using an un-installer program given to me by HP Chat Rep "Ariel". It never un-installed so when I re-installed the 1150, the old IZE was there to be over written.
I hope this is not to long, just trying to make it clear.
I will appriecate any help, as mentioned it is an irritant rather than an operational block.

If you tell the error screen to go ahead and send it then it will give a message to allow you to view the information that will be sent. Open this file and see which program of .dll file is causing the error, this may help to determine which driver is at fault.
Actaully sending the error report will also help MIcrosoft identify the problem and feed that information back to the company responsible for the issue.
