Set up new iPad while on holiday in Spain,on return to uk accessed app store and tool bar at bottom of the screen displayed in Spanish, how do I revert back to English?

I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. Somehow (I think it was while I was upgrading to Leopard) my iTunes store got set to the UK version. (the prices of songs are set as pounds, etc. etc.) How do I change this to the American/US version?

Look at the bottom of the iTunes store front page. You should be able to change store. -

Just kidding... hit the menu button a few times to make sure you're at the top-level menu. Then scroll down to the sixth option (five clicks down... it's "Settings" in English). Select that, then scroll to the fifteenth option (fourteen clicks down, also the third from the last option... "Language" in English). Select this, then select the first option in this menu. That should be English. -
Hi. I am using the iPhone 4S and when I'm searching for places using Google it does not automatically detect my location. How do I change this? FYI...under settings i have it set at "Use new precise locations from my device."

When I tap on the to line to add an address sometimes people's names come up that I don't have as contacts. How can I change this setting?
The only way that I know currently know of to remove old or incorrect email addresses from the Mail app is to reset the iPad back to factory defaults, which I assume that you don't want to to. You could try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe one day we'll day be able to edit them : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html#ipad

When I open "Pages" all the forms are in spanish. ( I am english speaking) I travel a lot and wonder if the program picked up on me being in Spain or something similar. How do I change it to english?

When I plug my ipod in I am able to add song to it but the tab that says "on this ipod" no longer shows up so I cannot remove things from my ipod or anything like that. How do I change this weird setting? On other computers this shows up fine so it is clearly a problem with itunes and not my ipod.

AIM IM The message “Hello” could not be delivered. The other person appears to be offline. The user is not accepting offline messages. How do I change this setting?

The simple shortest answer is that you can't (Change a Buddy's settings)
From your own end you can reply to the first Off Line IM you get on an AIM login (an accompanying IM for AIMSysMessage asks if you want them to Continue - replying No stops them)
IF you have stopped Off Line IMS than you can reset this at AIM Settings
You can log in here with AIM and Apple IDs that end in @mac.com and @me.com (iCloud issued @me.com name are an Exception)
In addition the Setting in iChat > Preferences > General Section that refers to setting the Status to Off Line on Quit stops the App starting up if iChat is not launched but the computer is ON

I'm having the exact same problem. It does not seem to be a settings issue but rather some sort of "problem" with mac mail. My Exchange provider was able to setup my mailbox on a test machine running Mavericks and everything pulled in fine, however I cannot duplicate on my upgraded system.
I was able to get rebuild my mailbox and get the older messages within my Exchange inbox, however none of my folders and old messages outside of the Inbox are downloading/synching.
**NOTE** I contacted Apple SUpport and they told me to call my email provider. I called my email provider which did as described above and they don't see a problem. SO as suspected it has something to do with the Mavericks update but I'm not sure Apple is willing to help. I might try contacting them one more time and see. -

Thank you for taking the time to look at my app. This is my last major stumbling block that I have to resolve for this and other forms in the app.
Actually, I did use the Form Wizard for Auto DML to originally create the form. It was great. It created most of the Buttons, Items and Validations automatically (basically most of the page). I just needed to create some Processes and Computations. Two of which were the Processes to update the 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields and 'update_dt' and 'updated_by' fields. The Create process updates the fields just fine.
However, my problem seems to be that the Hidden 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields aren't picking up the values from a record that is being editted. Then when I attempt to save the record those fields are NULL, causing the DB NOT NULL constraint to throw an exception for those fields. In the back of my mind I seem to remember seeing some post stating something to the effect that the information in fields with a Source Type of Database Column is just displayed and does not affect Session State items.
Even with that, I am still wondering just why the 'created_by' Page Item shows the value that is in the DB record being updated, but the 'create_dt" does not (as can be seen in my first posting). It is the 'create_dt' Page Item (:P205_CREATE_DT) not having the DB records 'create_dt' info in it that appears to be the problem.

Tap on the id in Settings > Store and log out of it and then login with your id. Any content already on the iPad will be tied to the previous owner's id and it can't be copied or transferred to your id - so it's probably best to do restore the iPad back to factory defaults and start as from new with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents And Settings
