You can print out ARE-1s or ARE-3s on blank A4 paper. The system prints out the entire form with the details filled in from the ARE that you have created. Since multiple copies are required of each ARE document, the system automatically prints out the number of copies needed.
Features
Country Version India comes with all the settings you need to print out ARE-1s and ARE-3s in the appropriate format. Two SAPscript forms are provided, one for ARE-1s and one for ARE-3s. These forms use the same printing program and output type. The output type is J1IB.
Activities
Customizing
Check the output type settings provided in Customizing for Logistics General, by choosing Tax on Goods Movements ® India ® Business Transactions ® Excise Bonding ® Exports Under Excise Regulations ® Printouts of ARE Documents.
Assign the output type to the ARE-1s and ARE-3s, in Customizing for Logistics General, by choosing Tax on Goods Movements ® India ® Business Transactions ® Excise Bonding ® Exports Under Excise Regulations ® Make Settings for ARE-1 Procedure and ® Deemed Exports ® Make Settings for ARE-3 Procedure.
In the same activities, specify how many copies of each ARE document you want the system to print.
Day-to-Day Activities
There are two ways of printing a document, as follows:
· When you post an ARE, select Print ARE Document on the Document Details tab.
Then, when you save the ARE, the system prints out the number of copies that you have specified.
· When you display an ARE, choose .
Note that this function is only available in display mode.

Dear All,
I am taking a print of my ARE3 Document which is created for Deemed Exports,in this document My values for excise,secondary cess and higher secondary cess are not appearing,only the % that is 14%,2% and 1% is appearing.
Since we are capturing the ARE 3 invoice with reference to the excise invoice at the time of excise utilization when I click on Export and Deemed all the basic 3 Taxes that is Excise Duty Seconday Cess and Higher Secondary Cess are becoming zero which is correct.
Hence will this values appear in the ARE3 Document if yes then what are the settings we need to maintain and if no then please confirm the same.

in Deemed export after doing commercial invoice - capture the excise details in j1iin and click whether you are doing are3 with Licence. the values has to be there it must not be zero. After that you have to capture ARE3 in j1ia301.
if the value is not flowing in j1iin then your customizing has some problem ie in TAX on goods movement the basic setting - determination on excise duty you must have not maintained the default conditions for excise in your TAXINN or TAXINJ procedure,

Deemed export duty values not captured in ARE3 DOCUMENT

HELLO
I am testing for deemed export scenario against CT3 form
As per requirement condition values JEX2 /JECS/JA1Y are amintained zero in sales document
hence zero duty is captured in excise invoice
while creating ARE3 document through tcode:J1A301 the base amount and duty rate is captured.
but duty values are zero.
Pls guide how can we capture duty vales in ARE3 document.

How do I set a password on a document in pages 5.0.1?

I know that in the old pages it was available to set a password from opening and editing documents. However, they did away with the old setting for editing, but I was wondering if pages 5.0.1 still made it available to set a password on a document when opening it.

I keep receiving this message on my illustrator files. They are linked to a file in Indesign that when saved as a PDF prints the wrong colors. I have been trying to fix this for two days. I have look online for answer in forums and articles and nothing works i am completely burn out, lost and angry Please help. This is a Picture book project that can not to sent to the author in this condition.

Your Illustrator files have images linked in them?
THis message tells you that color management had been set up differently when you created the document. In color management settings you have the choice if color profiles in linked images are ignored (and Illustrator uses just the CMYK numbers) or if those profiles are honored (and Illustrator converts the CMYK numbers according to the image profile and your settings into the Illustrator document's color profile).
What makes the whole thing even more complicated is that you placed the thing into InDesign.
So there might be 4 different color profiles interacting with each other:
1. the linked image's profile
2. the AI document's color profile
3. the InDesign document's color profile
4. The export profile in InDesign.
Is your color management set up and synchronized in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign?
Is it possible to place the images directly in InDesign? That is: create vector content in Illustrator and have photos separately? Then combine them in Illustrator?
How do you know they print the wrong colors? Just seeing them on your monitor won't tell you, unless your system is correctly color calibrated.

AT THE TIME OF CREATION OF EXCISE INVOICE YOU HAVE TO CLICK ON UTILIZATION TAB NOW YOUR EXCISE INVOICE TYPE SHOULD IN BLUE FOR DEEMED EXPORTS
AFTER CREATION OF EXCISE INVOICE
Easy Access Path     J1ILN > SAP Menu > Indirect Taxes > Sales / Outbound Movements > Export under Excise Regulations > Exports > Individual Processing
Transaction Code     J1IA301
On the initial screen, take the processing mode as u201CCreate ARE3u201D.
Excise Number      < Excise Document Number >
Year     < Excise Year >
Click on Enter.
Click on the tab license details to enter the license number and the fiscal year.
Field name     Value
License Number      < Number >
Year     < Fiscal Year >
Save .
ARE3 form is generated.

Please check the following points:
1. Check whether the excise invoice has the duty values.
2. Check whether the EXBAS field is updated with the base value in table J_1IEXCDTL for the
excise invoice which you are referring to create ARE1 doc.
3. Check whether you are using standard access sequence JEXC for all your excise conditions.
4. Check whether you have maintained condition record for table 357 -Country/Plant/Ctrl code.
6.If you are using tax procedure TAXINJ then check whether you have maintained excise rate in
J1ID
5. Check whether you have classified excise conditions for JINFAC as well as for your pricing
procedure under CIN customizing "Classify Condition types' (or you can check view J_1IEXCDEFN through transaction SM30)
If you have maintained the above settings then you should be able to get duty values and duty rates
in ARE1 document.

Hi,
Try some other LO extractor in RSA3 to check if you get the same error.
If you dont then it may not be system memory issue, check if thr is some user exit written for the extractor.The problem could be in the user exit whr the internal table may get overflown and lead to the page overfloen dump.
If this is also not the case try reducing the packet size.
Let me know if the issue is resolved.

HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless makes me set printer settings for EVERY document.

Ever since updating to Mavericks I have to tell the printer EVERY, SINGLE TIME I print, what to do...ie what paper size to use. I have the correct setting in Settings/Preferences and the drivers are up to date.
What's up with this?? Anyone having the same problem or have a solution. This is getting old having to jump hoops just to print a document!

In the Print dialog, select Show Presets from the Presets menu. In the sheet that drops down, uncheck the box marked
Reset Presets Menu to "Default Settings" After Printing
Click OK. Then select Last Used Settings or a custom preset that you created from the menu.

That's not possible in Adobe Reader - you will need to use a PDF creation or editing program such as Adobe Acrobat.

in the client (via javascript)?.

You should be able to set this on your XDP file from within Designer. Go to File-->Form Properties
and you'll see a PDF security tab there with the same options you have in Reader.

OOTB approval worfklow not creating task when require checkout is set as Yes on the document library

HI,
I set the document library versioning to "require check-out" to yes.
I set the workflow settings to create an approval workflow and "start the workflow when the item is created".
I create a new document from the document template, save and check-in. The workflow task is not getting created, however the workflow is started.
when i change the require check-out to "No" and create a new document as above, the workflow tasks are getting created.
Can someone advise on what is the problem when versioning is enabled?? can anyone provide solution. thanks.

According to your description, my understanding is that the task was not created after the approval workflow was running when setting the require check out to be yes.
I tested the scenario in my environment, if I used the Office client application to create documents, then the task would not be created even when the workflow was running.
There may be some reason that the creating task action is missed when the document is created using Office client application and the require check out is set to be yes.
As a workaround, I recommend to install Office Web Apps and use Office Web Apps to create the documents when setting the require check out to be yes.
The workflow will be starting before the documents is checked in, and it will create the task after the document is checked in.

Script for Word 2008 to set the font for whole document.

I just moved to Office 2008 form 2004 and am shocked to see my Macros do not work! So need to solve it with Aplescript. I spend an hour to find a way of changing the font in a whole document, to no avail.
To select all the text is easy:

But how to get it to do the font?
