Setting TalbeLogOnInfo not working

I`m tryiing to dynamicly change database connection Informatio. when i use report on the same thatabase where i created report everything is fine but when i change server or databe no changes are made,
This is my code forr setting up connection

You can't do this:
crDbConnection.DatabaseName = ".";
crDbConnection.ServerName = "$(DatabaseName)";
No such thing as a database name called ".", not allowed by any DB server I know of and I don't believe the Server name is correct either, don't use a $ or wrap the server name in brackets. Use an IP address or the REal name depending on what your Local Domain allows.
Database name should be the actual name of the database.

The Dynamic rooting setting is not working in the Nakisa OrgChart SP3.
It is giving an error message - "Cannot find the root of your orgchart. The orgchart box may have been deleted or incorrectly specified, or no valid org structure can be found for the selected effective date. Please change the root of the chart or select another effective date."
We followed the same steps as given in the Admin guide of SP3 (P.no. 109 - shown below)
In Orgchart --> General Settings:
* Select the Org chart root value source.
User Record: Retrieves the record specified in the next step from the employee data element.
*Do one of the following to define the org chart root:
If User Record was selected in the previous step, select the field containing the ID of the required organizational object in the employee data element from the User record field drop-down list. For example, if you wish to root the org chart at the org unit of the logged-in user, select the field containing the org unit ID. Hence, we have selected the Org unit ID.
Note:
We had enabled single sign-on with logon tickets
Retained the standard settings in Security Settings --> Employee Source
Had provided full authorization to the roles
If we use the "OrgChart Root" option available in 'Orgchart root value source', the org structure gets displayed correctly from the root object defined.
As this is an standard functionality, Kindly guide us in resolving the issue.

Ravindra.
You don't have to and shouldn't always include the username and password parameters for the SAP Connection string. When you omit them it will use the user's login credentials.
Remember though that:
The SAPRoleMappingConnection will need them included in order to get the details for the user in the first place.
Without the username and password specified in a connection string you can't click the option to test the connection and result in a successful connection. Remember unable to connect does not necessarily equate to wrongly configured.
I've filtered the log file for errors and the following entries were flagged up:

At the very least it looks like SAPPositionVacancyDataElement is missing and whilst the other errors around it are unfamiliar I wonder if it might be a good first step to see if you can track down the reference to and existence of this data element? That being said it looks like your last test occurred well over an hour after this (so you may have already resolved it) and resulted in nothing but information messages. If that is the case it might be worth "rolling" your log file or manually trimming it to the right time frame when posting it? Otherwise it can be misleading as people could flag up issues you have already resolved.
So assuming you haven't tried Luke's suggestion (which should only take a couple of minutes to do) I think you should go back and do so right away .

By default Firefox opens a blank page for a new Tab, there is no setting to change that action without installing an add-on.

The ringer setting is not working on my iPhone 4s

My iPhone fell into my pond for less than 10 secs. I pulled it out in time to dry it off and shake some of the water out. I made sure the screen was still working and sounds were functioning then I turned it off and left it in a bag or rice for 24 hrs. The next day I took it out and it was working fine. Now suddenly today, the ringer setting is not working. When I go into settings>sounds I press on ringtone and it seems to be working. Speakers are fine and when someone calls I have no problem. I can also hear the ringtones. But when someone txts me or when I get notifications it doesn't have any sound? The alarms don't work and the sounds in apps don't work. When I put the charger in, it doesn't make a sound. It vibrates only except when someone calls me... My headphone jack seems to be working fine because I can hear everything even the text tones and sounds in apps... What should I do? How much will I have to pay to get someone at apple to fix this problem? I'm assuming there is still some moisture in the phone maybe? It was working for a week until today I'm not planing to upgade to the iPhone 5 anytime soon. Btw, the volume buttons do work it's just when I press on it, it doesn't show the bars when you press up or down... it's just blank.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

any way u r executing the programs in the same session but between diff. internal sessions u can use the IMPORT and EXPORT options ( ABAP MEMORY )
or do one thing...

just now i have solved one of the issues of this Kind by using an Application server file.
In the first program..

OPEN dataset 'FILE' for output in text mode encoding default.
transfer lf_jobname to 'FILE'.
transfer gf_jobcount to 'FILE'.
CLOSE dataset 'FILE'.
ENDIF.
and instead of using the GET parameters in the second program ..
OPEN dataset 'FILE' for input in text mode encoding default.
read dataset 'FILE' into v_jobname.
read dataset 'FILE' into v_jobcount.
CLOSE dataset 'FILE'.
This has solved my problem !!!!! hope this helps u also!!

Why does set font not work in report generation toolkit?

I would like to change font and underline when inserting text into a Microsoft Word document. I have tried using the
"Set Report Font" vi directly in front of an "Append Report Text" vi in my own application. The inserted text at the bookmark is always in the default text mode
of the document. Is this a bug?
I also tried the find and replace vi with the same result. Font will not change.
I also cannot find any examples of this usage that work. See example vi file below.
Save at C:\ or adjust the template location accordingly in the vi.
Can anyone help me out?

I don't have the time to try anything but as a suggestion I would experiment with the range start end properties (e.g. from start =0 to end =
12 bold is true, from 13 to 23 bold is false, ....) You first insert text without formatting then you use the range start and end to format the text.
I'm not sure it will work but it's worth a try.

note: I would create a 2D array of start and end index of your string and auto-index a for loop that contain the range property node.

Silverlight 5 binding on a property with logic in its setter does not work as expected when debug is attached

My problem is pretty easy to reproduce.
I created a project from scratch with a view model.
As you can see in the setter of "Age" property I have a simple logic.

Scenario: Insert into TextBox the value "5" and press tab (for the binding the take effect, TextBox needs to lose the focus)
Case 1: Debugger is attached =>
TextBox value will be "5" and TextBlock value will be "18" as expected. - WRONG
Case 2: Debugger is NOT attached =>
TextBox value will be "18" and TextBlock value will be "18" - CORRECT
It seems that when debugger is attached the binding does not work as expected on the object that triggered the update of the property value. This happens only if the property to which we are binding has some logic into the setter or getter.
Has something changed in SL5 and logic in setters is not allowed anymore?

Inputting the value and changing it straight away is relatively rare.
Very few people are now using Silverlight because it's kind of deprecated...
This is why nobody has reported this.
I certainly never noticed this problem and I have a number of live Silverlight systems out there.
Some of which are huge.

Remote pairing setting does not work on 10.8.2

As the title suggests, the pairing option in Security & Privacy simply does not work. If I pair my mac, other remotes still work, if I turn the reciever off, other remotes still work.
Is there a kext that I can delete to really disable the reciever?

here are some more informations about the problem.
The root CA certificate is imported as trusted in the system keychain of the server and the client. A certificate evaluation returns "valid certificates, trusted ...".
The client bind fails with this messages, e.g. Kerio Control is able the use LDAPS, so it seams just the problem with the trustability of the certificates. Keychain trusts the certificates, OD client bind not, this is not so consistent.
Any idee?

Confusion about get/set method not working

Hopefully someone can point out the elementary mistake I have made in my code. I have created a get/set method to hold a value"total" so that I can then get it to display it further down my code in an HTML page. I am setting the value as I can check this by printing it out (line 102) but when I try to use it again it displays 0.0. What have I done wrong?

     This code finds data from a database(this works as it also prints a report). Here is the extraxt of my get/set method which is located in a "context" class.

but when I try to use it again it displays 0.0This seems to mean that either the value has been reset or you are calling the method on another (new) ReportListener.
It's hard to say, as you didn't provide us with the code sample that illustrate the corresponding scenario (did you?.)
Note that I didn't get into details, but I just noticed that your actionPerformed method first print weekly report, and then get the money total. (Shouldn't it be the opposite order?)

Setting PDFCompatibility not working when saving a file from the API

Hi,
I am trying to save a PDF file using version 1.3 compatibility using the CS3 API. I am flexible to which Action I use. Right now I am trying to use kAISaveDocumentAsAction.
According to AIPDFFormatAction.h, I can set kAIPDFCompatibilityKey to kAIPDFCompatibility13. However, that same header file indicates that these keys should be used with the kAIExportDocumentAction, not the kAISaveDocumentAsAction.
Not surprisingly, the SaveAs Action works, but saves a PDF in version 1.5 (probably not checking the kAIPDFCompatibilityKey).
I have tried using the kAIExportDocumentAction instead... However, in CS3, the Export action does not support PDF as an output type. Maybe in earlier versions this was different.
Can anyone help? Below is the current code I am using that produces a PDF, but not a version 1.3 PDF.

The printer page size setting is not working in Photoshop 5.1 with Xerox printer

I am attempting to print an output size larger than 8.5 x 11 and Photoshop will not change the size even though the printer setting is now at the larger size. Illustrator and other programs will print but but Photoshop fails. This is an issue in both the 32 and 64 bit versions. Help!

We have a Xerox WorkCentre 7435 PCL6, and I have been having a similar problem. I found a workaround in Photoshop CS5, which I will describe in case it is helpful to others. I just upgraded to Photoshop CS6 however, and the workaround no longer works with it. Instead I get an error message if I print a Job History Report. The message is partially cut off at the right margin of the page, but the part I can read says, "Completed with error(016-799): Print Instructi...on Fail detected in Decomposer." (The ellipsis indicates the part of the message that is cut off. What follows it appears on the next line down. I downloaded all updates to CS6 to see if that would help, but it did not.
Here is the workaround that worked for me on CS5:
1) Click on "Print Settings" in the Print dialog
2) On the pulldown Paper menu, select "Advanced Paper Selection"
3) Select the tray where your tabloid (or legal) sized paper is loaded
4) Click on the button at the right end of the "Paper Size" field to display the Paper Size dialog.
5) Click on the down arrow button at the right end of the "Original Document Size" field and select "Tabloid" (or "Legal") from the menu.
6) Click OK to close each of the open dialogs til you get back to the Print dialog and then print your document. The print preview should update to show you a preview reflecting the selected paper size. (This may take a few seconds to happen.)
This worked for me in CS5. Unfortunately, as noted above, it does not seem to work in CS6. The only workaround I can come up with for CS6 is to save the file as a PDF and then print it from Acrobat. This works without a problem, but it's a lot of trouble to go to every time I have to print something other than letter size.
If anyone finds a better workaround in CS6, please let me know.

Set attribute not working in conjuction with RequestDispachter

In my application I have two servlets in the same package . In the first servlet i set a attribute in httpServletRequest Object and forward the request , response object to another servlet using the requestDispatcher.forward(). In the second servlet i try to access the attribute which was set in the first servlet, I am getting null. I am using weblogic 10.3. The same code works fine in tomcat

OK, I've just tried a bit of an experimenet on the matter myself.
I find when I try to recreate the situation myself, tennyson, that I can only create a shortcut involving the function keys and the command key if I either have "Use all F1, F2, etc keys as standard function keys" selected, OR if , it is not selected, by holding down the "fn" key" at the same time I choose the "command - F#" that I want to add to the shortcut field.
This sounds to me as if it is the same experience that you are having and seems to in fact be the "normal" situation (I've tried it on two MBPs).
The mystery, in other words , would seem to be how you had it working without the need for this beforehand!
All I can suggest, accordingly, is that you use the "fn" key too when you want to use your added shortcuts (with "Use all F1, F2, etc keys as standard function keys" deselected) or alternatively use the fn key (with "Use all F1, F2, etc keys as standard function keys" selected) when you want to use the Function keys in their "non Function key" mode for things like volume and brightness changes etc.
It seems that the "normal" situation is that the function keys need to be in "standard function key" mode to work as a part of a shortcut assignation. I'm afraid I can't think of any explanation of why they worked without seeming to need this requirement to be fulfilled previously, unless, perhaps, you were using a different keyboard in which the "non standard" operation wasn't mapped when you were using them previously.
