Hi All,
I am sending file from file server to SFTP file server. The error that I receive in receiver SFTP adapter is :

can you double check you configurations associated with this CC,cos in the error it clearly says :
Unable to execute query because: com.seeburger.xi.config.ConfigException: No To-party associated with ID:
FaultCategory: CONFIGURATION_ERROR
and you might wanna look more on sorting out "No To-party associated with ID"

SFTP   Sender adapter error

HI All
    I am   facing a error in sender SFTP   adapter
Error: Current transaction is marked for rollback: Trace of setRollbackOnly() invocation. (Software version: 3.0.17)

For the Roll back error plz chk the below points.
1. Check the module parameters.
2. Make sure the sender agreement doesnt have any * 's.
Ex: The SA should not be like : | BS | SI_test_oa | * | *
      SA should be like BS | SI_test_oa | |
3. If the input file has special chanracters , use the encoding .
If the above doesnt work, try to create a new communication channel and test it.
We also faced this error toomany times in the sender CC for sFTP advatco adapter.

BizTalk 2013 SFTP Adapter Dynamic SFTP send port exception: Open remote file for write error

I am using BizTalk 2013 SFTP adapter. I defined a Dynamic One-Way
send port on BizTalk server administration.
Below is the error I'm getting on BizTalk while trying to write files to a designated folder on a client's SFTP server.
When defining the same path and properties on a Static One-Way send port everything works properly and the files are being saved on the SFTP server.
A message sent to adapter "SFTP" on send port "ComverseSFTP_1.0.0.0_ComverseSFTP.SendFileToSFTP_SendFileToSFTPServer_f6b86b86a22079f8" with URI "SFTP://abc.xyz.com:22/upload/%SourceFileName%"
is suspended.

From the error message above, please check the permission for file writing , it seems that this issue is related to access permission.

Seeburger sFTP receiver adapter error: Socket Write Error, EOF Received

Hello experts,
We have a sFTP to sFTP scenario for which we are getting below error every time the scenario is executed.
Error Messages are as follows:
Put File: Could not connect to remote host, Reason: Unexpected termination; software caused connection abort; socket write error[unknown cause].
Sometimes below error occurs :
Put File: Could not connect to remote host, Reason: EOF received from remote side [unknown cause].
Every time after restart of sFTP adapter on XI box, failed messages are sent successfully to receiver sFTP server.
There is no error for sender sFTP channel. This error occurs only for the receiver sFTP channel.
On receiver sFTP side, we are using Public key-private key authentication.
Can anyone please let me know what could be the cause of connection failure. ?

I missed to mention that we are working on XI3.0 with SP19 and seeburger sFTP is 1.7.4
Looks like key exchange is working properly as after every restart of adapter all failed messages are processed successfully..
It is observed that if there is an idle time of 8-10 hours between last data transfer and current data transfer then this error occurs.
We have increased connection timeout and transmission timeout parameters also for sFTP properties in visual admin.

As you have mentioned that you are setting the SFTP adapter properties dynamically within your orchestration, can you share the code where you are assigning the properties and constructing the message?

I have SFTP to FILE adapter without ESR objects scenario.
I just need pick file from remote location and drop in to receiver side with same file name.
In this what ever I am picking up source files via SFTP adapter need to generate the same file name in receiver side.
When I have choose ASMA in SFTP adapter it is failing receiver side (File) . File name is not found like .
I have put file name is XYZ_*.* in source in SFTP adapter and Target side *.* in File adapter
this configuration is not working getting error in receiver side.
Can you please suggest to me any alternate solution for this scenario.

File name : In case of .txt file give the filename as ".+\\*.txt",in case of .csv file give the filename as ".+\\*.csv" and in case of any other file format give the filename as " ".+\\*".

Receiver Mail adapter Error

HI All
   i    am doing   a   scenario     SFTP    to mail adapter,   i am sending a    file    to    SFTP ADAPTER and   Mail adapter   send the   mail to    clint,   i am   using java mapping ,   i have checked the message in    RWB mesage is    fail   in mail adapte,
   ERROR :   Message processing failed. Cause: java.lang.Exception: java.io.IOException: server does not support PLAIN or LOGIN authentication

Hi Pankaj,
Remove your mail server user id and password and keep authentication mode as Plain and try in mail adapter configuration.
You can try accessing ID from within IR via menu options or via a direct URL.

Sender sFTP Adapter - SSH Key

Hi All,
I have a small doubt regarding Sender sFTP Adapter. This is what we have done to connect with one of Vendor
1.     Basis created a SSH key in NWA for Vendor and sent to them.
2.     They linked the SSH key with user name and asked me to use the same.
3.     We got the firewalls openepd b/w PI and Vendor
4.     I provided the same detail in sFTP adapter, but I am not able to connect,
I am getting below error:
Error: Cannot connect to SFTP server. Host=########, port=22, username=#####. Private key store=########, private key alias=piPKCS12. Timeout=300000 msecs. Absolute home directory=.: KeyStoreException in Method: getPrivateKey( KeyStore, String, String ). The requested keystore type is not available in the default provider package or any of the other provider packages that were searched. (Software version: 3.0.14.2)
Please provide your inputs.

Hi,
The first thing you have to do is use the same userid and the pwd and try to connect to the vendor system from your application layer and see if this is connecting or not. If there is a problem in connection then there are few steps that you have to follow. Below are the steps you need to follow:
1. Open the port from your Vendor side as well as open the port from your XI system(there might be two ports)
2. Generate the key of your vendor system and one you started login to the system then it will ask to instal the key , so acept it.
the IS people can help you out over here.
3. Try to push the one dummy file in that location manually using the command in application layer.
4. check the authorization in the target directory and try to provide the proper authorization,, 777 is used for full authorization.
5. use the same useid and the pwd and then try from your xi system processign a dummy file.

But we are able to connect through filezilla . we are able to create and delete file using the same username and password which is being used in SFTP adapter.
we have imported the both dsa and rsa keys in SFTP partner folder in NWA. Even though we are getting same error.

we checked with network team and port 22 is open and they are able to ping to the target system.
we checked the seeburger logs and we see EOF received from remote site error:

Receiver SAP SFTP adapter-errorlog on SFTP server

Experts,
I am using receiver SAP SFTP adapter to connect to an SFTP server and send files.Receiver SFTP server is a VMS system.I could able to write the files to home directory of the user that has been given,but apart from writing the files I am seeing warning log file in the the target folder on SFTP server like below description.I am giving dot(.) in the file path to write the files to the default directory that has been assigned to the user given by receiver SFTP server team.
WARNING: ssh_file_server_receive_proc: platform cannot stat() filename /home/dir1/dir2 ./TestFile(TestFile is my file name) .
Just to test,we placed files in the receiver SFTP server using same user and password as the PI recv SFTP channel with command line and winsCP client tool,but we don't see any error logs on the server with WinSCP tool or command line transfer of the files.Log file with above warning is generating only when we place files on the server using SAP SFTP adapter in the recv channel of PI.
Please let me know,if you have any insight or seen similar issue.

I read in some of the SDN forum that SFTP adapter doesnt have the capability to read the files from multiple directories. So, if we get any requirement to read the files from multiple directories using sftP, why could be a possible solution for this requirement?

Issue with network or SFTP adapter

Hi Guys,
we have found a case where a file has been received empty by the receviers, although we can see in PI that message contains data and transmitted successfully from AE.
Please note that SFTP adapter is being used here and file contains encrypted data which is being sent outside the organization network.
Can it be network or there is issue with SFTP adapter?

there was no error occured in AE monitoring as per logs it processed successfully, but receiver party which is outside organization network complained saying that they receive this file empty.

Problem with BizTalk server 2013 SFTP adapter on Cloud VM

We have deployed Microsoft Biztalk Server 2013 Enterprise edition on a cloud VM. We are facing an issue with SFTP adapter to receive. Following are the details;
On this VM, we are facing an issue with BizTalk server 2013 SFTP adapter. The SFTP location can receive and send message through SFTP clients and .Net code. But using BizTalk server 2013 SFTP adapter we are only able to send the file on SFTP location but
could not receive the files from same location.
We are getting just one line error in system event log that is :
Event#7011. A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the BTSSvc$BizTalkServerApplication service.

and in Windows Azure as a virtual machine. Please follow the procedures to check it on your side.
