SFTP Applications?

Does anyone know of ANY apps for iPhone or iPod Touch that is essentially FileZilla?
There's gotta be someone out there other than myself that has a need for such functionality. I'm not asking for an app that I can upload/download via ssh/sftp but rather just browse. Maybe transfers would be nice but impractical for most file sizes.
Anyway, all comments/suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks!

That did not fix my problem specifically, but it is related, and it gave me enough insight to find a work-around without changing jar files.
It seems that ColdFusion loads "com.rsa.jsafe.provider.JsafeJCE" as the default security provider at startup. Perhaps there is something wrong with this provider like the “BC” provider mentioned in your link. Working with that, I was able to dump my providers into an array where the first array position represents the default provider and shows JsafeJCE as the default:
<cfset providerMethods = CreateObject('java','java.security.Security')>
You can dump the providers:
<cfdump var="#providerMethods.getProviders()#">
I then made a copy of the provider like:
<cfset jSafeProvider = providerMethods.getProvider('JsafeJCE')>
I then removed it from the provider array:
<cfset providerMethods.removeProvider('JsafeJCE')>
I then made my sFTP call and this time it was successful.
<cfftp action="open"
            secure="true”…
I then put the provider back into the array in position 1 – the default:
<cfset providerMethods.insertProviderAt(jSafeProvider,1)>
I can’t say I know exactly what’s wrong and I certainly don’t want to remove the JsafeJCE provider from the default position for forever. I’ll let Adobe come up with a true fix, but for now, this provides me with a work-around so I can use sFTP. I’m sure JsageJCE is used/required for some other encryption, so you’ll have to watch for other issues while it’s not part of the provider array. The quicker you can get it out/in, probably the better. My sFTP only runs a few times, so I feel OK with the possible side effects. Maybe someone can take it from here and find a better solution and not a simple work-around.

  • Sending information through sftp from an apex application

    I need to send information from an apex application to a Linux server using sftp.
    Does anybody have a good idea on how to do this?
    Thanks

    We will be setting up accounts using an apex application and storing the information in the database. The user id and password from the account will be sent to a server in the DMZ. I have an apex app were we can create and update the user accounts. I need a way (script) to connect and send the user is and password to the server when the account is created or updated. The only way to communicate with this server is sftp.
    I was hoping that Oracle had a utility or package that might work easily.
    thanks

  • Java SFTP API/Sample application

    I'm looking for either sample java code of how to send files via sftp or a java api to do this. Jscape looks to be the standard for doing this although it costs quite a bit, wondering if there is free code out there?
    Thanks for any help in advance!!!

    Check out JCraft's Java Secure Channel (JSch) project -- it's an implementation of SSH (with scp, sftp, etc.) in Java -- with some examples that might get you started: http://www.jcraft.com/jsch/
    The code is distributed free under a BSD-style license which is described on the site.

  • Trigger File Option in SFTP Advantco Sender Adapter

    Hi ,
    What is the purpose of Trigger file option in sender SFTP adapter?When i enabled Advance selection for source file we have this functionality.Can i use this option to delete the multiple files in the same directory instead of using File Name Mask.
    We have scenario to delete 4 files from application server in that only one file should be sent to partner and the rest should be delete from application server.
    Actual solution is to use to use script to delete the rest of the files do we have any other alternative.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Another alternativet is to write your own customer adapter module and using java programming you can delete remaining 3 files. This is bit complex comapre to script writing but one advantage is with adapter module is that, you can provide the deteted file names with time stamp in the audit log of XI message, which will help in troublshooting if some issue happens.

  • TS1506 I have a problem opening some email attachments. They will not open in the mail application on an IPad Air

    I recently upgraded from an iPad 1 to an Air. One of its main uses is to avoid printing volumes of papers for meetings, so the abilty to open attachments with mail is pretty important.
    There are some attachments that will not open in the mail application on an iPad Air. Some in the same format do (docx). They do open in Mail on my MacBook, and iPad1, or if I go to webmail on any device including a Blackberry, so it is not a file corruption problem.  The problem persists on different networks. Other emails from the same sender do work. It seems to be specifically related to IOS 7 or the Mail app. Quickview won't work, nor will opening with a range of Apps which report a file error.
    There was an historical problem with Apple garbling pdf files, but this is a new one on me.
    All this is a shame because it is opening emails in attachments that was one of my main reasons for buying an Air.
    Does anyone know of the cause? A solution?

    What about a work-around?
    Ios 7.1 etc. has a problem with communicating with exchange.  There are lots of reports of problems with pdf files.

  • SFTP Receiver adapter error Message could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter

    Hi Experts,
    I'm needing help to solve a problem with an SFTP Receiver interface.
    Before I was sending in the adapter configuration as "Direct" in Write Modus (File .txt) and now I changed to "Use temporary file" is occurring this error:
    Message
    could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter. Reason: 2: Moving
    /ABCftp/To_XXX/140187613515701OUT_20140604-100214-622.TXT.tmp to /ABCftp/To_XXX/01OUT_20140604-100214-622.TXT failed.
    Files as TXT they are being written to the SFTP however when as TMP returns this error ... would not rule SFTP server to accept different TXT files?
    I also changed the namespace to "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/SFTP" and "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File" but is not working.
    Any help will be welcome!
    tks.

    Hi Durga and Naveen...
    I believe the problem is when the application's legacy system picks up the file because the log file got the "tmp", ie, was not formed yet ...
    I changed to a directory without the intervention of the legacy application and it worked.
    I'm waiting for the opportunity to modify the legacy system to capture only files with the extension TXT.
    Tks All for help!

  • Issue with reading XLSX with multiple sheets file in application Server

    Hi,
    We're currently implementing SAP CRM 7.40.
    In one requirement we have to process an XLSX file and load its information to a set of Z tables.
    The file has 6 sheets of data to process, each sheet with distinct number of columns and types (each sheet will be upload to a different Z table).
    We're able to process the XLSX using the Desktop Office integration for local files.
    However, we must also be able to process files on the application server.
    We tried the following approaches without success
    - The DOI library doesn't seem to support remote files processing:
    - OPEN DATASET. with the dataset we're able to read a remote file, however since the file format is XLSX, the information we read in the dataset comes in an unreadable format
    - FTP. we tried to use FTP to download the remote file to a local folder so that we could then use the DOI library to process the file. However, the client only allows SFTP connections and SAPFTP doesn't provide SFTP
    There's another approache we're considering to try which is to have a perl script on the application server to split the Excel file into CSV files (one for each tab) and then use OPEN DATASET to read the contents of each file and work from there. This approach seems quite cumbersom
    The approach with DOI would be the best one but either we're missing a key configuration or it truly can't be used for files. Are there any special requirements that we should take into account for this option?
    We'd like to know if you have any other approach that proves successfull or if any of the above can work but with some aditional adjustments.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards.

    Hello Ricardo,
    Go through below link.
    to read Excel file from the application server in a BACKGROUND process
    You can try below approach if it is feasible for you.

  • How can I add a new certificate to be used with SFTP

    Hi,
    I wanted to know how to add a new certificate (from MS server) so it can be used by sftp. I tried certtool, but got error messages. It's a DSA cert, and I need to secure ftp to this site.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Bob,
    > Certs, keys same difference;
       Do you regularly state your own misconceptions as if they are fact? Your lack of precision and detail make even correcting those misconceptions problematic but I'll assume that you're referring to X.509 certificates and try. X.509 certificates contain keys but they are hardly the same thing. Most important, the X.509 specification implies a mechanism of distribution and usage entirely different from the manner in which OpenSSH handles keys internally.
       The SSH applications of SSH Communications, Inc. have X.509 certificate support builtin but I don't know if they have a client for Mac OS X. Roumen Petrov has written patches for OpenSSH that are purported to allow it to use X.509 certificates. A thread on comp.security.ssh contains a link to the source code of a utility for extracting keys from X.509 certificates and reformatting them for use with OpenSSH.
       Using the correct terminology is not only conducive to fruitful communication, it helps in using Google to search for relevant reference material. Hopefully being armed with the correct terminology will help you find the information to accomplish whatever it is you're trying to do.

  • SFTP sender to File receiver mapping of file names

    My scenario is: sender channel = SFTP (Seeburger) transferring multiple PDF files to Receiver adapter File (NFS).
    These PDF files need to have the same name as the original files from the sender (3rd party) system.
    Because these files are being processed without an interface, I can't use UDF to help map the file names.
    I've tried using Seeburger's localejbs/Seeburger/AttribMapper to map the names, as follows:
    File (NFS) receiver channel config:
    - ASMA boxes for 'Use Adapter-Specific Message Attributes' and 'File Name' are ticked
    - Module localejbs/Seeburger/AttribMapper is on the first line in the module tab under processing sequence, with module key = AttributeMapper
    - Under Module Configuration:
      - Module Key = AttributeMapper
      - Parameter Name = http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File/FileName
      - Parameter Value = @http://seeburger.com/xi/SFTP/dtSubject
    (I haven't entered any attribute module config on the sender side)
    This setup fails on the receiver side with the message 'Delivering the message to the application using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.RetryControlException: Channel stopped by administrative task.' (not very helpful!).  All I can get from that is that it doesn't like my module configuration!
    Can anyone help me understand the correct way to do the file name mapping for my specific scenario?
    Regards,
    Christine

    We've got this working at last!
    The main problem was indeed the missing .sca file from Seeburger:  SeeModuleCollectionPI.sca
    Our Basis team deployed this file this morning.  After a bit of fiddling around with the attribute mapping, my test files were transferred successfully with their original names.
    The config I ended up with is just as described in another forum post for SFTP to FTP, but I'll repeat it in more detail here:
    Sender channel
    Parameters tab:
    Adapter Type = SFTP (Seeburger)
    (sender, transport & message protocol = SFTP)
    Scheduler = x in all appropriate days, with interval = 1 (minimum allowed)
    (rest here is specific to your environment, but I set filename to *.pdf to get all .pdf files from the sender)
    Module tab
    Processing Sequence
    Number  Module Name                                          Type                                          Module Key
    1            localejbs/Seeburger/AttribMapper          Local Enterprise Bean     AttribMapper
    2            localejbs/Seeburger/solution/sftp           Local Enterprise Bean     solutionid
    3            localejbs/CallSapAdapter                   Local Enterprise Bean     exit
    Module Configuration
    Module Key        Parameter Name                                               Parameter Value
    AttribMapper          http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File/FileName         @http://seeburger.com/xi/common/dtSubject
    Receiver Channel
    Parameters tab:
    Adapter type = File
    (receiver, with transport protocol File System (NFS), etc)
    Target tab:
    Target directory (set to your required PI server directory)
    File Name Schema = * (can be anything, will be ignored)
    Processing tab:
    (your requirements-specific settings - mine were create, write directly, file type binary)
    Advanced tab:
    Under Adapter-Specific Message Attributes (ASMA):
    tick the following:
    Use Adapter-Specific Message Attributes
    Fail If Adapter-Specific Message Attributes Missing
    File Name
    Modules tab:
    Processing Sequence
    Number  Module Name                                          Type                                          Module Key
    1            CallSapAdapter                                       Local Enterprise Bean     0
    (nothing under Module Configuration)
    Thanks to those who kindly took the time to try and help me, your suggestions pointed me at the real problem.

  • Oracle AS B2B - Various Features in FTP Adapter (FTPS, SFTP...)

    As part of the Oracle AS B2B 10.1.2.0.2 FTP adapter offering following features are supported. FTP Protocol forms part of the Generic Exchange Plugin.
    1. Basic FTP
    Identification of Trading Partner Criterion is slightly different for Internal and External Delivery channel, even though identification is based on the "Name" in both of this cases.
    a. For External Delivery Channel.
    i. Identification of Trading Partner is based on the name of the file and the name shoud follow the patterns as nameOfTP_UniqueID.
    ii.Identification of Trading Partneris based on the name of the Directory. To enable this it is required to set
    oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.allTPInOneDirectory= True as part of tip.properties setting.
    b. For Internal Delivery Channel.
    The identification of Trading partner and the Document is based on the name of the file and should follow the pattern as
    TradingPartner_DocumentType_Revision_msgType_msgId_replytoMsgID_extension.xml
    2. FTPS : FTP OVer SSL
    Download any of the FTP server which can be configured to FTPS such as FIlezilla. Configure FTP server for FTPS as per the FTP server documentation.
    Oracle AS B2B Configurtion:
    The SSL configuration is drived by the value of parameter "Channel mask"
    1. Depending on the mode of data transfer i.e Active/Passive , specify the data port for Active configuration and no data port for passive mode. Control port is there for both the mode and by default B2B considers this to be 21, there is a need to
    mention it for any deviation.
    2. Receiver Channel Mask (Host) : Depending on whether No channel encrypted, data channel to be encrypted , Control Channel to be encrypted or Both control and Data channel to be encrypted specity none, Data, Control or Both accordingly.
    2. Sender Channel Mask (Trading Partner) : Depending on whether No channel encrypted, data channel to be encrypted , Control Channel to be encrypted or Both control and Data channel to be encrypted specity none, Data, Control or Both accordingly.
    Refer to the user guide for FTP Transport configuration.
    3. SFTP(New Feature available as part of latest B2B patch # 6353697)
    SFTP implementation has been provided for Oracle B2B 10.1.2.0.2 version. This enables B2B to send and receive payload files over SFTP (SSH FTP) protocol.
    SFTP protocol support added for both external trading partners and internal applications communications. The naming conventions of the payload files are in-line with File and FTP adapters.
    Proxy support provided (HTTP)
    Authentication Support :
    Password based authentication – username/password combination authentication
    Public key authentication – authenticating the identity based on the public key
    create a key pair using OpenSSL keygen tool and the Public key need to be installed in the server. and the private keys fully qualified file location has to be specified in Private Key file and the passphrase has to be provide in Prive Key Pass phrase.
    If the passphrase is present in the FTP configuration, B2B engine considers the password based Authentication else key based Authentication otherwise it is key based Authentication.

  • Issue in SFTP configuration in FTP adapter (Oracle SOA 10.1.3.3)

    Hi,
    We are trying to connect FTP adapter to SFTP server and have made all the necessary configuration changes required to $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/oc4j_soa/application-deployments/default/FtpAdapter/oc4j-ra.xml. Following properties are updated in this file.
    <config-property name="host" value="sftp.server.ip.address"/>
    <config-property name="port" value="22"/>
    <config-property name="username" value="userID"/>
    <config-property name="password" value="passwd"/>
    <config-property name="useSftp" value="true"/>
    <config-property name="authenticationType" value="publickey"/>

    <config-property name="preferredCipherSuite" value="blowfish-cbc"/>
    <config-property name="transportProvider" value="socket"/>
    Restarted the SOA server after configuring these settings. Created a BPEL process using this FTP adapter to pick a CSV file from a SFTP location and deployed the process successfully on the BPEL server. It seems all SFTP server related settings are proper but still logs are saying it’s an issue with SFTP server settings. Also I am able to do SFTP successfully from UNIX prompt but the same settings are not working for SOA suite.
    I would appreciate any inputs on the same.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Uday

    Hi,
    I am herewith attaching the complete log exceptions that are getting caught in log.xml for SFTP configuration.

  • Sender sFTP Adapter - SSH Key

    Hi All,
    I have a small doubt regarding Sender sFTP Adapter. This is what we have done to connect with one of Vendor
    1.     Basis created a SSH key in NWA for Vendor and sent to them.
    2.     They linked the SSH key with user name and asked me to use the same.
    3.     We got the firewalls openepd b/w PI and Vendor
    4.     I provided the same detail in sFTP adapter, but I am not able to connect,
    I am getting below error:
    Error: Cannot connect to SFTP server. Host=########, port=22, username=#####. Private key store=########, private key alias=piPKCS12. Timeout=300000 msecs. Absolute home directory=.: KeyStoreException in Method: getPrivateKey( KeyStore, String, String ). The requested keystore type is not available in the default provider package or any of the other provider packages that were searched. (Software version: 3.0.14.2)
    Please provide your inputs.
    Regards,
    Sachin Dhingra

    Hi,
    The first thing you have to do is use the same userid and the pwd and try to connect to the vendor system from your application layer and see if this is connecting or not. If there is a problem in connection then there are few steps that you have to follow. Below are the steps you need to follow:
    1. Open the port from your Vendor side as well as open the port from your XI system(there might be two ports)
    2. Generate the key of your vendor system and one you started login to the system then it will ask to instal the key , so acept it.
    the IS people can help you out over here.
    3. Try to push the one dummy file in that location manually using the command in application layer.
    4. check the authorization in the target directory and try to provide the proper authorization,, 777 is used for full authorization.
    5. use the same useid and the pwd and then try from your xi system processign a dummy file.
    hope this helps.
    cheers,
    jay

  • Java.lang.NullPointerException while using PGP module in SFTP receiver

    Hi Experts,
    We are trying out newly installed PGP module on SAP PI 711 SP10.
    Scenario     : SFTP to SFTP
    While we are trying to encrypt the message in the SFTP receiver, we get the following error.
    nested exception is: javax.ejb.EJBException: (Failed in component: sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app, BC-XI-CON-AFW) Exception raised from invocation of public com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleData com.sap.aii.af.app.endpoint.ModuleProcessorExitBean.process(com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleContext,com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleData) throws com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleException method on bean instance com.sap.aii.af.app.endpoint.ModuleProcessorExitBean@6437822b for bean sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app*xml|com.sap.aii.af.ejb.jar*xml|ModuleProcessorExitBean in application sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app.; nested exception is: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.Message.getMessageKey() of an object loaded from local variable 'msMessage'

    Thanks Hareesh,
    ya that  "callsapadapter"  was the culprit. It comes by itself, Once I removed that PGP was working fine.

  • Calling java application from Oracle forms button

    Hi all,
    I have a problem. The idea is to call Java desktop application when button is pressed. I have used this (above) line of code, but there is no results. When I start form in local everything is fine but when I start from server it doesn't work. Does anyone has that kind of problem and how is solved?
    Thanks in advance.
    __Code is:__
    DECLARE
    v_path VARCHAR2(1000);
    BEGIN
    v_path:= '\\location\Java_Application.jar';
    HOST(v_path);
    END;

    First, please start here:
    http://blogs.oracle.com/shay/2007/03/02/
    As for what you are doing and the problem, it will be difficult to give an exact reason, but here are a few comments which will apply regardless of the platform, version, and installation type.
    1. In most case, when calling HOST from Forms the shell that is started does not include all of the system environment variables. This means for example, if a java.exe is needed (on Windows), you would need to specify its path as part of the call or use a batch file rather than calling a command or app directly. The batch file would first set all the needed environment variables (i.e. PATH, CLASSPATH, etc)
    2. If you are running a newer version of Forms, you have a middle tier. This is were your HOST call will be executed. So, if you are expecting this to occur on the client it will not work. You would need WebUtil for client side calls.
    3. Calling a network resource (i.e. shared drive) is not permitted on Windows platforms when called from a Windows Service. Doing so can be seen as a security vulnerability. This can be overridden, but I would suggest that doing so is not a good idea. All files needed to run your app should be made available locally. If files exist on a remote machine, they should be temporarily brought to the machine (e.g. using ftp, sftp, etc) where they are needed and removed later if necessary. If you are running a newer version of Forms, the Forms runtime process belongs to a Windows Service, even if indirectly as a child.
    4. Calling a jar directly is not the proper way to call a java app. Refer to the following:
    http://download.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/deployment/jar/run.html
