Shareable Interface between two RMI based applets

Hello! I am developing a project in simulation environment (cref) in Java Card and I have one problem.
First of all I have create two RMI based applets and I want to make one of these applets to implement a shareable interface.
As we know a classical RMI based applet has three parts: one interface that extends Remote interface (lets call it ApplicationRemoteInt),
one class that implements the previous interface (ApplicationImpl) and one class that extends javacard.framework.Applet which manipulates
ApplicationImpl (ApplicationApplet).
My problem is that I don't know which of these three programs (make it two, I don't think i could be
ApplicationRemoteInt) have to implement an another Interface, which extends Shareable Interface (ApplicationShareable), and in which way.
Also I think that the ApplicationShareable must be implemented by an Applet class.
As you see I am confused, can anyone help me, please?

BUT not between two RMI based applications.
Finally I found that RMI based application does not support shareable interface:

Month filter between two ranges based on user response inIDT

Hi,
I am working on SAP BO4.0.I have a requirement of creating a month filter on a date which will be between two ranges.The first range is the user response and the second range will be 6 months added to that user response.For eg:-If a user enters 1 as the response for month prompt then the date will be filtered between 1 and (1+6)=7.The database used is SAP HANA.
Please let me know if further clarifications are required.
Any help on this will be appreciated.

afaik this is not doable in UDT/IDT .Only thing we can make is to run the report for last month by using magic dates concept.
Check below logic if it helps.
For a requirement to run a report for fiscal year starting date to last month if nothing selected .

Number of occurences between two dates based on a starting date + frequence

I have a starting date in cell A1 and a frequency (in days) in cell B1. In cell C1 I have a date (begin) and in cell C4 I have a later date (end). I need to know how often the event occurs during the time between begin and end dates (inclusive).
For instance, the starting date is january 25th, the frequency is 5. The first date is januari 25th, the second date is februari 12th. The result should be 2 (because given the starting date and frequency of the event, it will occur in februari on day 4 and 9).
I have been looking at some of the statistical functions, but I don't think there is a function for this. Right now I have about 5 formulas to calculate intermediate results, but I'm stuck trying to combine them.
I would be happy with just a pointer in the right direction. For instance, is there a specific name for this kind of calculation?

It's not really a statistical calculation, but a simple division to find "How many whole sets of five (days) are there in the days between two dates."

Two functions and one operation are needed:
DATEDIF() to calculate the number of days between the start and end dates.
Division to determine how many sets of five days there are in that period.
INT() to discard the fractional part of the result.
With the values located as described, this formula (placed in a cell on the same table) will return the number of occurrences not including the first one.
=INT(DATEDIF(C1,C4,"D")/B1)
To include the Start date as one of the occurrences, make this modification:
=INT(DATEDIF(C1,C4,"D")/B1)+1

Go URL linking between two reports with no relation

Hi Experts,
Sorry this question may have been asked numerous times, but I was not able to fetch the required response.
I have two reports Repor1 based on Table 1 having columns A and B, Report2 based on Table2 having columns C and D.
First is it possible to create a go URL moving between two reports based on tables having no replationship between them?
My requirement is to create a hyperlink on column B in Report1 so that when a user clicks on the hyperlink it takes you to report2 and filters report2 column C using values of Table1 coulmn A. Table1 and Table2 have no relationship between them.

I had two columns in my report1 first being market and second being a measure value, i provided the following link in the formula for my measure value and made that as HTML data format, my Report2 contains the market column with one more additional coloumn and i want my second report to be filtered based on Market value in Report1.

Transfer large data between two databases via ODI

Hi, we want to transfer our 2 billion records (70gb) A database oracle server to B database oracle server via ODI LKM SQL to Oracle (SQLLDR).We use a filter like "prod_enter_date>sysdate-1" for daily records(about 200.000).It takes about 1 our.How can we transfer data faster, thanks for your advice.

OK so assuming the Oracle DB's can see each on the network other have a word with your DBA's about creating a DBLink and test out the LKM DB Link KM.

I have used both and they work fine.
Basically you are currently unloading a large amount of data, transfering to another location and then uploading that data with no transformation to the target environment, a DBLink LKM will transfer this data without the need to unload / upload , just the network transfer.

Can we use applets as user interfaces with sockets, RMI and J2EE

Since I am a TA for software architecture class, some one ask me the following question: I think the answer is "No" based on the document on http://java.sun.com/sfaq/
How I answer the quesions? Looking forward your help!!!
1.You may have 2 applets and 2 html files. One applet with one html file may stay at a client PC and run on this PC, and the other applet with the other html file may stay at a server PC and run on this PC. In this case, all the applets are run locally.
2.Could applets works with sockets, RMI and J2EE?
3.Can we use applets as user interfaces with sockets, RMI and J2EE?

The scenario you paint doesn't quite make sense. The "server PC" wouldn't be running an applet, normally, since applets are by definition in a web browser page, and most likely involve user interaction, and "server processes" generally are done without user interaction.
The security rules around applets are that -- by default -- applets can connect with sockets ONLY to the server from whence the applet was loaded. RMI uses sockets (J2EE is too broad a spec) and hence RMI calls would also be limited to the server from whence the applet was loaded. Within that limitation, an applet could open all the sockets it wants, so long as they are all on the server from whence the applet was loaded.
If you want two applets on two different systems to communicate with each other, the simplest way is to have them rendevous through a server process on the server(s) from whence each applet was loaded. Maybe it's PC-a <-> server-a <-> server-b <-> PC-b ...? Or maybe PC-a and PC-b both are talking to the same server.
The limitation is rooted in the security subsystem. You can specify a policy file and override anything in the security subsystem. That does mean signing the applet and then cajoling the user into agreeing to grant greater levels of security than the default. In such a case you can open sockets more broadly and then PC-a could talk directly to PC-b without going through any servers.

Exchange apdu between two applets

Hi guys, I want to build a simple application that is compound of two applet. The first ciphers text with rsa and the second one decipher. My question is in wich way I could take the ciphers text and then, make a new Apdu that contain in the field data the ciphers text? I m currently using apdutool to send apdu to the applet.
I ve create the two applet with different AIDs.
Could somebody give some pointer to information for solve this question?

If your applets are under one package then both can use
public void processData (byte[] baBuffer, short sOffset, short sLength);Method which is org.globalplatform.Application interface.
Note that application itself implements shareable.
If you want them in separate packages create shareable interface and call decipher of second applet from first applets.
Store these results on second applet and then retrieve them by sending and APDU to that applet

Passing parameter between two applets

hi all,
i want to pass parameter between two applets. in other words, when user clicks the button; close the running applet, pass parameter to another applet and run another applet.
now i think that could be, ( creating a parameter table in database, when user click on button write parameters to table and stop active applet and run other applet. when other applet runs in init methot it takes parameter from table). but it will be very indirect way.

Managed bean/Data exchange between two ADF Rich Faces based applications

I have been trying to research what seems to be a small issue. My requirements are as follows.
1. I need to be able to pass managed bean information from one ADF Rich Faces based application to another (in two separate ears) at runtime (e.g. from Ear1: SenderApp/Sender.jspx -> Ear2: ReceiverApp/Receiver.jspx).
2. I do not want to use the database as my applications need to be performant.
3. Serialization/de-serialization would fall pretty much under the database category. In other words, I like to avoid Serialization/de-serialization of the managed bean.
4. I cannot use query string due to security issues.
My question is as follows:
1. Is there any standard/architecture/best practices for data exchange of backing beans or other forms between two ADF Rich Faces based apps (in two separate ears)?
2. Has someone found anything similar to an applicationScope that works across applications?
I would appreciate any ideas.

Hi,
its not an ADF Faces problem, but not possible in Java EE. You can however fallback to vendor specific implementations like in WLS. From the WebLogic documentation : http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs103/webapp/sessions.html

How to route traffic between two different interfaces

I need to setup a routing between two different interfaces on a host.
Inferface ce1 : 192.168.120.12
Inteface ce2 : 192.168.110.50
Is it possible to add a route which enables the ce2 interface to catch packets from the ce1 interface ?

NAT between two interfaces

I would ask if it is possible to do NAT between two Interfaces on the same device?
The problem is that I need access from my inside lan to the management interface on the ASA. We will not manage the ASA over the inside interface.
This is my current NAT statement:

So NAT seems to be working correct. I can reach other devices behind the mgmt network this is no problem. But I cant access the ASA on the mgmt interface 192.168.3.2.
Clould it be a problem with the traffic flow? Because in the PacketTracer output I see on Phase1 a Route-Lookup and later on Phase4 the NAT statement.
Is there a way to get this working?

To my understanding its not possible to connect to an ASA interface through interface other than the interface where the IP address is located.
In other words you are not able to connect from behind "inside" to the IP address of "mgmt" interface
I will try to find you a link to some Cisco documentation stating this. (I have never really had to find it though)

"if ( ff.getPinShareable().getTriesRemaining()== 0 ) return false; "when I select my applet this line throw an exception, ff.getPinshareable includes all of OwnerPin methods(such as getTriesRemaining ,check ,reset, update ,...)but all of them throw exception .
I think firewal does not allow other packages uses this methods .If my guess is right then what should I do for sharing the variables that they are defined with non primitive data type such as (OwnerPin,Signature,...)

Stock transfer between two St locs of same warehouse

Hi All,
I am new to WM and trying to config/simulate st loc to st loc transfer 311
one step between two st locs that belong to same warehouse number.
What should be the config and under
LE->WM->Interface->IM->movement types -> assign WM Movement Type

only the quantity check box checked and no other spl stock I see that there are
three columns mentioned below
For mvt types on WM side first one “Reference movement type for WM from

The reason I am confused is when I do a MB1B 311 from one st loc to another
st loc from unrestricted to unrestricted on IM side it is triggering 309 on WM
side where as I am expecting 311 to trigger with TR to pick from issuing St loc
and another TR/TO with (312 or 311 I am not sure) to putaway the stock in to
the receiving st loc. Can someone help in explaining how should the stand SAP
IM/WM interface work and what should I be doing to make it work that way

To explain you in simple way,
When Sloc is Wm managed and stock is transferred at IM level using 1 step within plant, stock is directly transferred from one sloc to other sloc(no TR/To is created to pick and putaway unless configured) Due to this difference is created between IM & WM level, Hence mvt type 309 is triggered for PCN . This Mvt 309 is picked based on std config at
LE->WM->Interface->IM->movement types -> assign WM Movement Type
