Sharing photos by email - Emails are not being received

My photos which I have shared by email are not being received, even though I have a confirmation that they have been sent (one photo has been sent).
I am using a @me.com email address and I have tried to send a photo to myself and this has still not been come through.

Do you have iPhoto setup to email the photos itself or use Mail to email the photos?

  • I'm being asked to enter my ID password on my ipad for icloud, but the email is no longer active and reset remails are not being received.

I'm being asked to enter my ID pswd on my ipad 2 for icloud. but the email address and ID are no longer being used, and reset emails are not being received. How can I deactivate this? I have another ID which works fine, but this issue with the old ID is not allowing me to use my ipad.  thanks.

If your iPad is signed into an old ID and you are trying to change it, if the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • Email attachments from SSRS email subscription are not being uploaded to an email enabled SharePoint 2013 document library

Email attachments from SSRS email subscription are not being uploaded to an email enabled SharePoint 2013 document library.
I have tested the library using a standard email (with attachment) to the library and this works fine.
I have monitored the drop folder on the server and I can see both emails being picked up in drop and processed by SharePoint.  The email sent from a regular email account is uploaded with the attachment, whereas the email sent via SSRS subscription
email is uploaded and the attachment (report) is missing.

An update on this.  The email when sending from SSRS subscription is received in the library and the attachment is contained within the .EML file uploaded.
The behaviour that I would like from SSRS subscription emails are to just have the document and not the email.
Below is a snippet of the .EML files I quick copied from the Drop folder.

That's not a good sign if it said it was going to send it to an email address you've never heard of. Contact iTunes Support and let them know this: http://apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

  • I have a Galaxy S5 with Global International plan in place. My txt to Jamaica are not being received there, but others are. Is there a setting in my phone I need turned on? Verizon customer service doesn't have any answers.

I have a Galaxy S5 with Global International plan in place. My txt to Jamaica are not being received there, but others are. I can receive the messages, but not send. I get an msg saying, message to (my daughters number) failed: Network problem. Is there a setting in my phone I need turned on? Verizon customer service doesn't have any answers.

Hello ffdaisy!  I sure hope you're having a great time in Jamaica! I'm so sorry about your messages. Let's get going on a resolution! to clarify, are you able to receive messages? Can you send to the states, but not to numbers originating in Jamaica?  First, I want to let you know how to get in touch with our Global Support Team while outside the US. Just click here for the information: http://vz.to/18oaptS   Second, I'd like to provide you with the dialing pattern for messaging to US numbers, and Jamaica nunbers. For the US, dial 1, then the area code, then the 7-digit number. for Jamaica numbers, dial area code 876, then the 7-digit number. For more information, click here: vzw.com/international   Thanks so much, and have a great trip! • ICloud email with hyperlink not being received

I have tried several times to send an email with a link to a tumblr blog and it is not being received by the recipients.
It is in my sent items and I have not received a notification to say it has not been sent. If I send the same email without the hyperlink they recieve it.
What is stopping this email from being sent properly and why am I not receiving a notification to say otherwise.
    Thanks.

It's probably being caught by a spam filter somewhere along the way. Spam filters don't usually send notifications to the alleged sender or the nominal recipient.

  • Photo edits in aperture are not being updated in Photostream

I want to edit photos in iPhoto on an iPad mini and also in Aperture and have the changes synchronised either using photostream or a direct connection. Try as I may I can't get this to happen. If I move a photo in Aperture to the photostream then it appears on the iPad and vice versa. If I subsequently edit a photo on either device the changes are not propagated to the other device and the photostream image is not updated. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, or is this feature simply not supported.

Photo Stream can be used to automatically share photos to other devices, but it will not sync the photos. If you edit photos and want to share the edited version as well, you will have to add this edited version again to the Photo Stream. Also the photos will not be stored in the Photo Stream for more than a month.
You might consider to use iTunes Photo sync instead:
iOS and iPod: Syncing photos using iTunes
With iTunes Photo Sync you can update the albums synced to your iPad, when you change the albums and edit the photos on your mac, but changes done on your iPad will also not sync back. You have to reimport the edited photos from your iPad.
There is simply no simple way yet to sync iPad and Mac, if you are looking for a solution to do some editing on your iPad and keep iPad and Mac in perfect sync.
Maybe some third party software can do that, but neither the Photos app nor iPhoto on iPad has means to do that.

  • Texts are not being received when I send them

Curve 8530 - my contacts are telling me my text messages are not making it to them.   Other than rebooting by removing the battery, what else can I do?

Remember the iPad is not a cellular telephone.  It cannot send or receive text messages.  What it does is send and receive iMessages.
To do so, the recipient must have an Apple device.  You must have WiFi coverage.  The recipient must either be on WiFi or be covered by a cellular carrier that can send and receive iMessages.

  • Email messages are not being downloaded on Iphone

Please help!  Re iPhone, email messages, I had to change my PW on Yahoo.com, "Other", my email messages cannot
be downloaded.  I receive "this message has not been downloaded from the server".  Outgoing mail server:  smtp.mail.yahoo.com,
SSL ON;  Incoming mail server:  imap.mail.yahoo.com, server port 465.

While Yahoo has had their problems when it comes to their mail, I suggest removing the account from the phone, reset the phone, add the account back on and see if that works.

  • Emails are not being received if sent from iPhone or iPad, but MBA OK

I've used my iPhone and iPad a lot to send messages to various email addresses at a specific company.  They've always gone through without problem, but suddenly they're not coming through.  They aren't in the SPAM folder and haven't been quarantined either.  Messages sent from my MacBook Air go through successfully.
It doesn't matter which email account I send the message through, what the content is, or who I send it to.  No one else is having problems sending emails from their iPhones or iPads.
Any help is appreciated.  Thank you!

No longer a problem.  The emails I sent finally showed up.

  • Failed email attempts are not being updated in sysmail_event_log or sysmail_faileditems

    Hi,
My apologies if this isn't in the right section. I currently inherited a stored procedure to work on which is calling sp_send_dbmail. The sp executes without any errors and I'm able to see entries in sysmail_allitems as well as receive emails. The issue
I'm having is when I execute the sp and pass an invalid email to sp_send_dbmail (I'm testing for invalid emails), I see no entries in sysmail_faileditems nor sysmail_event_log. Service Broker is running as well as SQL Service Agent and I'm using SQL 2008 R2.
I've tried looking for a solution online and haven't had much luck, I'm hoping someone is able to shed some light on this.
    Thanks

    Hi LBENAVID,
According to your description, you just use sp_send_dbmail in your stored procedure. Usually, when an error is returned from sp_send_dbmail, the e-mail is not submitted to the Database Mail system and the error is not displayed in this view. For more information,
    see: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178014.aspx
In addition, you must be a member of the sysadmin fixed server role or the DatabaseMailUserRole database role to access these views. I do a test, if you configure database mail via an invalid email or other errors , then the
Database Mail  failed, the related messages will
be recorded in the sysmail_event_log view and sysmail_faileditems view.

  • My emails are not being received by recipient

Two of my daughters have cox.net. Starting as long a go as November 3rd, they have not received any of my emails. At first it was only from the "Mail" application, but now it includes MobileMe.
Anyone have a clue what the problem could be????

Try setting up another email address in, say Gmail, and send a test email from that account to your daughter's account and see if it works. If it does, then set Gmail up in Mail.app and see if that works. If it does, then it might be your SMTP server, I have had the same issue.
If it doesn't, then it could be a spam issue, but trying a couple of test emails from another mail address when you're on the phone with them should be pretty easy to test. You can have them set up another email temporary address and see if that works too. You can at least that way see if it's your problem or their problem. Gmail has a nice feature where they have an "All Mail" folder that collects everything unless it's specifically been deleted or marked as spam from Gmail, so it's easy to see if they mail actually was sent and has arrived.
Gmail also works very well with Mail.app, a big advantage.
