SHD0 & GUIXT moving fields / combining Tabs

Do you know if it is possible to use a screen variant to combine fields from two screens into one?
I have created a screen variant for VD51 to make over and under tolerances required. However, I have to force the user to go to the detail screen in order to get the required field error. If the user remains on screen 200 the program doesn't recognize that the required field is empty. I had to also create a screen variant for VD52 because this screen allows create as well as change. For this transaction (VD52) I made all fields in screen 200 display only -- changes can only be made in screen 300.
It would be better to move the two fields and associated text/descriptions to screen 200 instead hiding the control icons on the main menu (save, back, exit, cancel icons on screen 200 are all disabled).
My question is:
Is it possible to move fields from one screen to another using SHD0? If yes, can anyone provide some guidance on how to do this -- I'm guessing that it will require code in GUIXT.

Following are the BAdI available. Screen Enhancement should help you to add extra filed on the standard SAP Screen. Look for the documentation of following BAdI. And see, which one suits your requirement.

You can search for these BAdI for documentation in the transaction SE18.. In the search help for BAdI's give Package as AI_SOLAR as the search term. And execute. You will get list of BAdIs in your system. If you don't get all above BAdI's then you might need to apply some SAP Notes. Refer SAP on servicemarketplace and get the note details.
Other way is to search from SPRO transaction IMG Settings suiting your requirements.

CC Acrobat XI crashing when moving fields in tab order

Using Mavericks 10.9.2, Acrobat 11.0.06
When editing a form PDF, if I try to move fields in the tab order (I have tab numbers showing) acrobat crashes.
I tried the search fix but that does not help.
Using the windows version of Acrobat through CC works and does not crash with the same file.

Changing Tab order in a completed form without altering or moving fields here and there

I've made a complex questionairre and is almost complete. Now the problem is that when I converted this file from Word, many fields were automatically detected and their tab order/ numbering was set by Acrobat itself. The remaining fields in the form (at different places) were created by myself. Now in the tab ordering, the fields automatically detected have priority and the fields I created, are much different from the corresponding fields in tab numbering. For your understanding, I'm including the screenshot too. Please see the tab numbering in the image and after field # 7, there is field # 28, then field # 26, and then field # 29 which is not the way it should be.
Please advise any solution (if there is any) on your earliest convenience.

Have you opened the "Pages" navigation panel and looked at the options for the page?
There should be a series of options like "Row", "Column" or "Unspecified". Select the "Row" and see if the form tabs the way you would like.

PE51 Rules - table/field combinations

Hi all,
I need to add some employee subgroups to Rules section in our payslip (hr form editor).
However, the table field combination currently being used here isn't available in F4 dropdown, P0001/PERSK, although this field does exist in the structure. Therefore I can not save new entries with this combination..
Does anyone know how I can add new field selections for a given table, e.g. P0001.
Any insights much appreciated.

ps. I have tried maintaining the search helps in SE11 for the table field aswell (PPE51_7000), but it does not allow to maintain.

Go to T code PE51_CHECKTAB and enter country grouping and form class CEDT ...give the reference country and form class as 99 and CEDT.Goto Change here you can add in the table in table tab and field in Field tab..
Use that fields in your rules.

I added in the clientListener for the inputListOfValues' valueChange event

and in javascript I call the TAB action of AdfLovInternalEvent

so it's forcing to perform the tab action when there is value change. doesn't matter tab or enter or mouse click on something else.

It's absolutely the right place to discuss issues. That's what user groups are all about.
What I meant was that this is not the best channel to make a formal feature request because it will go unnoticed by the Adobe team. It needs to be a formal feature request at the link I provided.
I seldom need frequent access to field dominance controls because I am usually in control of most of my source material. Occasionally I receive footage from around the world which I have to combine. I then set field dominance on an ad hoc/ trial and error basis. A simple right-click on the timeline clip suits my low-level purposes. However, material shot with one particular field dominance doesn't always "swap across" with just the flick of a switch - as you can get unsightly combing on the action.
As a work-around to your issue, can you not do a batch encoding using AME with an intermediate codec.
You must be using an interlaced XDcam format. My PMW-EX1R set to 1080p25 has no field dominance, but then I'll bet you knew that already ;-)

Does anyone know how can i do to add a field in TAB BIDDER. I am working on SRM 7.0 in RFX-Bid invitation. In Spro does not exist a structure to do that.
I think that i can do that with webdynpro, but i do not the way.
I do not have problem to add fields in header or item in rfx. By the way my real problem is add field in TAB BIDDER.

Acrobat form broke field into 2 separate fields and tabbed it wrong

I created a pdf form from a word doc. The form looks great with a couple of exceptions. One of the fields had four buttons. Adobe split that field into two fields and tabbed it wrong. It has tabbed it 4,4 and 5,5, instead of 4, 5, 6, 7, as it sees it as two different fields. I have tried to move the tabs up on the right (edit) side of the screen but they will not move. I don't know if this is because they are two fields now. I have tried everything I can think of and nothing works. I am new to this and scrambling to get this form turned around to my boss.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you...I have been sitting here all morning working on it again and realized there was a way to do it manually that didn't require dragging and dropping the tabs....which it will not do. Yikes! Thank you for your response.
Now I have realized there is a problem with the word doc in another field. The spacing for a telephone number is wrong. Is there anyway to change it in the form or do I have to go back to the word doc, fix it, then re-import it? My desire to not do this is because I have to take it back to the original word doc and then when I re-import it, it obviously won't have all these changes I have just made.

Lowest value from 2 date fields combined

Morning!
Need a way to combine two separate date fields to determine the lowest combined value. The idea being finding an empno's overall seniority by looking at seniority date and birthdate, birthdate settles the tie in the event two empno's have the same seniority date.
Can't find a way to do this using two date fields, only a single date field.
I also need a way to continue finding the next empno in seniority after that, and so on. Need to increment some value or get the nextval somehow to find the next highest in seniority until the entire table has been reviewed.

Field values: vchar, vchar, vchar, date,date,date,date-time,vchar
Examples in above order: 36525,smith,bob,08-jun-80,23-sep-60,15-mar-10,14:00,1
The idea is that we assign (1) single day per month per employee of overtime based on seniority, and in case of a tie the birthdate settles seniority. Employees make more than one request per month so their empno appears in the table multiple times. Also a single empno can ask for one of two start times per requested day. At most, a single employee can make requests for any one of (12) days per month, on days Sun-Thu they can ask for one of (2) start times and on Fri-Sat they can ask for one of 3 start times. The "choice" field lets them indicate start time in order of preference.
On each day on each start time, (2) different people work together, so for days 1-5 there are (2) shifts of (2) people each, total of (4) people assigned per day 1-5 and (6) people assigned on days 6-7.
The needed output is that for Sunday-Thursday (2) people start at 14:00 and another (2) start at 18:00.
On Friday-Saturday (2) people start at 14:00, (2) people start at 18:00 and (2) people start at 20:00.
The idea for the report would be:

Each person may only work one day per month. In the event that there is a hole where no one put a request in, we need to go back over the remaining requests to fill them in. The original idea was to do this by:
All choice #1 first, then start over looking at choice #2 and so on until all the days in the upcoming month are full.
That's about the best I can explain it. The only way I can see is to do it by seniority and choice# then go around again if there's a hole. I just can't figure out how to look at both the seniority date and birthdate to ensure seniority nor can I figure the logic necessary to find the person, check if the spot is available and assign him or if not go to his next preference for that day and check if it's available and then continue to the next guy.
It may have been simpler to explain the need in detail and ask that the structure and code be done from scratch but that's asking way too much so I thought I'd ask how to solve this problem and keep working on it from there.

By standard you can't add custom fields or tabs. But you can extend SAP Solution Manager to manage new object types as described in this blog post by Andreas:

I would also recommend providing the version of the product either in the body of your discussion or in the tags (or both, preferred). Prompting to SAVE while moving from one Tab to Another

Hi !!
We are having the User entry WEB layouts where in the data entry layouts for different applications are spread on multiple Tabs .
However i want the user to be warned to Save the data on a particualr tab when he moves to the another tab for data entry .
I have explored the options enhancing the class CL_UPWB_BSP_APPL however in there how can i check that user is moving to new Tab and how to send a prompt for saving from there to the user.

i think it is not necessary to warn the user during leaving each tab cause a warning is standard if the user try to leave the BSP-Application with the exit-Button.
Please note that the planning-buffer is filled and not refreshed as long as they dont leave the actual planning session.
So it is enough to put one SAVE-Button on the top of the page, this will save all entries were made on different tabs.

Matchcode for GuiXT input fields

I installed theh program ZGUIXTF4 and created transactions ZXF4 in our DEV system to use SAP matchodes in GuiXT input fields. When I click on the icon to bring up the values no values come up but instead it creates a new session. Any ideas what I am missing? I installed it in SBX and it is working fine there. The ZGUIXTF4 code and the ZXF4 transaction look to be identical.
