Shift Rows to Columns in Excel sheet

Hai Everyone,
Executed Web Template and Output of the Report exported to Excel Sheet and Saved it in Local Disk.
After saving the data in Excel Sheet , I need to convert to Rows to Columns
I am facing on problem to convert the Rows in to Columns.
The layout of the excel sheet as given below link for Layout of the report.

In that report , My requirement format is like ENDCUSTOMER | MATERIAL | FISCAL YEAR PERIOD | FORECAST QTY
Without using Transpose I am getting END CUSTOMER and MATERAIL directly.
I am getting problem While shifting rows of Fiscal Year Period and Forecast Qty by using transpose function.
Any one can help me out about my requirement.

Would you consider running the report directly in the Analyser and using the Drill down functionality or Change Query - Local View of Bex to achieve this?

I have alv report with 60 fields . The report output is coming currently . But when i am exporting into excel sheet from the option local file--> speadsheet each row is splitting into two rows including header in excel sheet.

Hi,
Please use the grid option and with the Spreadsheet button (CntrShiftF7). Do "Save as" and save it as excel. It should work.

How to read only particualr columns from excel sheet to internal table

Hi,
I have and excel sheet which has around 20 columns, in which i want to read only 6 columns. They are at different column positions, means the 1st column, 6thcolumn, 8th column so on..
Can we do this in sap? do we have any FM to do this?

Use the below logic to fetch the data into internal table..You need to read the data cell by cell and update the internal table,

Unable to export more than 19 rows of data from Excel sheet

Anyone could please guide me how to export more data from excel sheet.
I tried with 50 row but only 19 rows are exported.
Appln builder==> create ==> Export from spread sheet --> Copy paste / csv export (i tried both) but i got only 19 rows.

Hi Manoj,
If you're talking about the 19 rows you see while in the create wizard, that is just a sample of the data so you can see what you're working with while specifying column names, types, etc. Once you finish working in the wizard it should import all of the rows assuming there aren't any error-rows.

There are a number of apps that are compatible with Office documents. Apple makes iOS versions of their own iWork apps (Numbers is the spreadsheet) that can be purchased separately. There are also 3rd party combined suites that cost less than the separate Apple apps. Ones often recommended include Documents 2 Go, Quickoffice and Office2 HD. You'll need to consult the documentation for each app to see if it will have the specific features you need.
If you want access to the actual Microsoft Excep application and can accept needing a network connection whenever you want to use the application, a server-based solution such as CloudOn might be an option for you.

Well, that's not true. That's exactly what happens when you import text and autoflow. I don't know any way to make that work with a spreadsheet, though, without scripting. I suspect it would ge relatively easy to script importing columns from Excel on a one column:one page basis, but you need to ask over in the scripting forum: InDesign Scripting

I'm new to this so pardon me please.......I've tried everything, I've looked everywhere..........does anyone know how to add in multiple rows or columns into the middle of a worksheet? There has to be a quicker way to throw in a quick 20 rows rather than just doing it one by one?????

Importing rows and columns from Excel to Cluster and Array in Labview

An excel table consist of 4 columns and variable number of rows, the first column is the position number and the other 3 columns are series of coordinates (X,Y,Z). I would like to import the excel table into Labview such that each row in the table will form a cluster which consist of the position number and the coordinates of each position and each formed cluster should converted to a 1D-Array(double).
I would be glad if someone can tell me the best way to go about this or better still show me some examples because i am very new in Labview.

The easy way would be to save the excel file as csv (colon seperated values) and load it into ascii via load spreadsheet file (use ; as delimiter).
The more advanced way is to interface excel via ActiveX. Use the example finder and search for ActiveX to find some examples that interface excel (they should be shipped with LabVIEW).

Merge rows in a single excel sheet

I have an excel workbook(A) and its copy (B). Both contain one sheet only.
In A, Rows 1-15 are filled. In B Rows 16-30 are filled.
How can I perform an automated merge of A and B files without using manual copy paste ? i.e copy rows 16-30 from B file to A file. The
merged file will now contain all 30 rows filled.
Please help.

I would like to upload my internal table data-10 columns into excel sheet.
I know how to upload my data into excel sheet.
I want 2 of the columns in excel sheet to be read only out of the 10 columns.
Is there any way that i can control the properties of excel sheet from SAP.

Auto Expand Html table when we paster data from Microsoft Excel sheet

I need copied data to my Html table.
Actual requirement is like that when i copy selected rows with selected columns from Microsoft excel sheet and press "ctlr v" on my jsp page then table on jsp must be auto expand as data in excel sheet.
Take an example.
I copy 4 rows with 3 columns from excel sheet.
I have JSP page with 1 row and 3 columns.
when i press "ctrl v" on first cell of my jsp table then table should be auto expand to accommodate 4 rows of excel sheet.
here i have some of the code which is near to this, this code just copy past only one row, but i need multiple rows.
If need then please refer below code and if possible then give me the solution to auto expand HTML table on JSP

Excel Sheet Upload: Program reads file for a long time

Hi All,
I'm using the function modules GUI_UPLOAD and TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP to upload data from an excelsheet on the presentation server into a table in SAP. The call to the TEXT_CONVERT_XLS_TO_SAP function takes too long. The task bar says "Converting Line 1" and the number continues to increase to more than 50,000 when I just end the transaction. My input file has less than 2000 rows and 8 columns. Has anyone encountered such a problem with this function module, or does anyone know what to do in such cases?

Lock rows and columns header in a table view report. It is possible?

hi,
I have a Dashboard that displays a report in "Table View" with many rows and columns.
Is it possible to set a lock on the rows and columns like Excel?
This would have blocked such headers that contain attributes and measures and to browse the report (eg with a scroll bar) had always viewed the headers.
Can you help me?
