WHILE EXCECUTING THE DTP I RECEIVED AN SHORT DUMP :CALL_FUNCTION_REMOTE_ERROR.
CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS.

give the date on the execption occured.
and execute it.
it will depict the list of runtime errors occured.
double click on the name of the runtime error field.
in the right side there is a abap developer view node.
expand it.
and there u analysis the error , where it is occured, etc.

SHORT DUMP WHILE EXECUTING DTP.

Hi Gurus,
I have got a short dump while executing DTP the Error is as Follows.
Runtime Error: MESSAGE_TYPE_X.
Reasons for Error: 1.The installation of the SAP GUI on the present server is faulty or obselete
2.There is a error in the application program
And i have sent the sreen shot of the Short Dump to BASIS TEAM and they have replied me that they have to install some patches and it will take some time.
But i have no much time and i have to someway or the other execute the DTP and load the data.
Is there any shortcuts for this i mean to say without the involvement of Basis team that i can do in th BI System

Hi Amar,
If the problem is with with System itself, how can we all have a short cut in that case. You may give it another trial, but you have to wait for the patches to be applied. Ask your basis team to get it done ASAP.

Short Dump while execuition of DTP.

Error messages shows as below:
1.The database returned a value containing an error
2.An exception with the type CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause
3.Exception CX_SY_NO_HANDLER logged

hi,
an error like this comes usually in 2 cases
1) not enough resources are available to carry out loads.in this case increase no of parallel processes to 2-3 in dtp setting,check the option get delta request by request(if its a delta load) and decrease packet size to 10000(from default 50000)
2)fileld to field assignment is not proper:
u need to check if there is any source field with lenth lets say 5 ans is getting assisgned to a target field length lets say 4.in this case dumps will come
please check the error message in st22 and here you can also check the termination point.please check in option Chosen variables /contents of system fileds where you can get temp values at point of termination.here you can pinpoint values at which prog is throwing dumps.

Short Dump Error while executing the DTP

I am facing an issue with DTP.
Data has been loaded to PSA successfully but while executing the DTP for loading from PSA to DSO (WO) throwing a short dump RAISE_EXCEPTION.

Short Dump "ITAB_DUPLICATE_KEY" while executing DTP

Hi all,
i am getting a short dump when i try to execute the DTP to Cube, following is the error details.
i could not analyze the reason, need your inputs on this.

What happened?
     Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLRSAODS" had to be terminated because it has
     come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
     An entry was to be entered into the table
      "\FUNCTION=RSAR_ODS_GET\DATA=L_TH_ISOSMAP" (which should have
     had a unique table key (UNIQUE KEY)).
     However, there already existed a line with an identical key.
The insert-operation could have ocurred as a result of an INSERT- or
     MOVE command, or in conjunction with a SELECT ... INTO.
The statement "INSERT INITIAL LINE ..." cannot be used to insert several
      initial lines into a table with a unique key.

What is the data source??
whats is your SP level??
Seems like the data source is not properly activated or duplicate entries exists in the system tables for the same data source...
If you have recently done a system copy??
Try to activate the data source again...if its from R/3 then replicate and activate it again...also if its a BW object then try to reactivate it as well.

Short dump while executing the DTP

Dear Experts,
While executing the DTP the system is generated short dump and it is Quality server not in Development system.
The error details are in method Calculate_keyfigure_ds and the data is loaded for IS retails from POSDM.
The error details:
"The MOVE-CORRESPONDING statement can only be used on operands with a
structured type.
In the case at hand, this condition is not fulfilled: Operand "<L_STRUC>" has
the type "C"."

Move corresponding statements can be used for structures only and from the error message it seems that there is datatype mismatch.

Short dump:ASSIGN_TYPE_CONFLICT- While loading data through DTP

Dear all:
We currently work with BI NW2004s SP10. We created transformation for mapping InfoSource and InfoCube based on 3.x transfer rule. For example, we used cube 0PUR_C04 and Data Source 2LIS_02_ITM_CP. And the transformation is "TRCS Z2LIS_02_ITM_CP -> CUBE 0PUR_C04". Everytime when we tried to load data via DTP. A runtime short dump occurred: ASSIGN_TYPE_CONFLICT
Error analysis:
You attempted to assign a field to a typed fie but the field does not have the required type.
we went back and forth to activated transformation and DTP. But still, same error occurred.
Any idea, please !!!!

DTP Short dump issue

Hi Expert,
I face a DTP shortdump issue on loading data from PSA to DSO
The DSO is write optimize.
DTP is using symantic loading and support 3 processor, pack size is default
Situation is as below:
1. This issue occurs every two days. In some situation, it will occur everday
2. The DTP will face short dump. Then when we rerun the DTP, everything goes will
3. Not all the system face this issue (for example, we have dev/qas/prd, this issue cannot be reproduced in qas)

DTP with short dump

Hi,
I cerated a Transformation & DTP...whick loads Master Data from a DS
I activated Transformations & DTP.
When i execute DTP it is giving me Short dump with MESSAGE_TYPE_X
The request is not being loaded to Infoobject
How can i fix this

Short dump when trying to change DTP status to 'green'

Hi,
For a DTP delta run that brings in 0 records, the technical status turn green after 5-6seconds. But the overall status remains in yellow state.
Also if we manually try to set it to 'red', I am able to do so and delete this request and run a new request, but again it ends with overall status yellow.
If I try to set it to 'green' manually following short dump occurs:

I have already scanned all SAP notes relevant for this short dump, but none of them relates to this scenario.

Hello Rathy,
You can do following things,
From message, it is apparent that there is Error in one of the ABAP Program . And as the Error is occurring within few seconds of the Start of DTP, can you check and debug the Start Routine .
If Start Routine is not there, try to check whatever ABAP routine are there in facilitating the processing.
( Routine in relevant Application Componenrt - BW-WHM-DST )
Before this, can you also check the ABAP Dump through ST22 and make sure that the underlying datasource ( for DTP ) is OK and smooth.
Try to proceed in that way.. Hope this helps !

Short Dump, Exception condition "NOT_EXIST" raised

Dear Colleagues!
I am having a problem with short dump, I am getting the message Exception condition "NOT_EXIST" raised.
I am trying to load data to ODS with full load and filtering via a DTP.
In the monitoring the load doesn't even get started.
I have already loaded data succesfully in this ODS... But now it doesn't work anymore..
I also tried to replicate and active all the rules and objects again.
And in the source system if I test the extractor it works fine.
I saw an earlier thread on this issue, and it recommended programs ZDMDELTAREPAIR or RSBDELTAREPAIR, but this thread was especially for BW 3.5. We are using 7.0 and have SP10. Are these programs still valid or is there another note for 7.0?

This issue only exists in Production system not QTY or development thr Cube deletion is working fine.
So far I have tried Deleting Index's and then deleting the Cube Contents & Run Elementary Checks from RSRV but not find any lead yet.Also unable to find appropriate notes for this issue aswell I am using SAP_Bw comp 700 with SP26.
Any suggestion would be of great help .

Any recent upgrades or system refresh done?
In recent update just from SP24 to SP26 was updated and a DB stats Referesh was carried on.But this proublem existed before these activities.
Except deleting can you able to perform all other operations like loading data..etc?
Other than deletion I am able to do load data into cube extract from R3 and also i can delete data from PSA.Only deletion giving dump.
You are trying to delete transactional or master data.
I am tring for transaction data.
WHen I try to delete request by request it also lead to the same short dump.
@ arvind : I checked Sm12 there i see not table which has been locked.

Short Dump Error while loading master data.

I am trying to load data from PSA to Info Object (0Material_Attr) via DTP, I am getting error and itu2019s giving the short dump.
Runtime Errors UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION
Exception CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE.
"UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION" "CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE"
"SAPLRRMS" or "LRRMSU13"
"RRMS_X_MESSAGE".
In Job overview, job is getting cancelled, with error message
"The object name is not allowed to be empty".
ABAP/4 processor: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION.
We have done the following steps, even then error persist.
Transaction RSRV > All Elementary Tests > Master Data > Compare Number Range and Maximum SID for the characteristic 0REQUID.
If the system reports an error here, correct the error using the "Correct Error" function.

Transport with return code 12 ,short dump with 'DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR'

My trasnport contains infoprovider. DTP,transpformations, character realtionships , aggregation levels ,web templates, programs.
I got a transport failed with Return code 12, and it is showing message :

I have short dump with 'DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR' exception 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB'.
in how to correct the error :
