Short Dumps in standard HR Business Event Group/Event creation transactions

Dear All,
I m getting short dumps whlile executing standard HR transactions for Creation of Business Event Groups and Business Event Types. Attaching the Short Dump text herewith. Can anyone plz. help...
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYNAMIC_OSQL_SEMANTICS', was
not caught in
procedure "RH_BASE_READ_INFTY_NNNN" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a
RAISING clause.
Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
The reason for the exception is:

Cause and prerequisites
The system wants to access table HRPnnnn particularly by means of an entry in the infotype check table T777D. This access can be processed in various places, including in the profile generator. Here, a termination occurs if the 'ent' table/structure in the dictionary is no longer available. This generally affcts customer-specific infotypes. These have been created and possibly deleted again. However, the entry in table T777D is not available. You can also import the entry into another system with a transport of the table. If the HRP table/structure is then missing, a termination may also occur in this case.
Solution
You must check on an individual basis which infotype the termination refers to. If it is a customer-specific infotype, the customer is responsible for removing the cause of the termination. If the table entry is a 'remnant', the entry can simply be deleted.
If the termination refers to an SAP structure, you should consult SAP before carrying out any further activities.

I am getting a dump error as shown below. Could you please find some resolution for this issue. we just made some changes to the transaction GS02(Just added a GL account to one of the sets).

How can BI recognize business event into transactional environment?

Dear colleagues:
As I have been looking forward to figure out BW based BAM solutions, such as to implement BW to recognize business event into Transactional applications I just found the TechEd 2008 BPX Community winner proposal Operational BI-Embedded Business Activity Monitoring Drives Sales Growth and Empowers CRM Campaigns, by Anshuman Kumar (congratulations!)
However, it will take a long time to September and as I need very much to hurry up on architecting a BW based BAM solution I was wondering if someone else has implemented solution like that to exchange more detailed information, as Event Recognition, or even if Mr. Kumar could provide information regarding his presentation in advance.

Hi Kiran,
Depending on your SAP release, you may have a wizard to instantiate an object reference. This basically creates a standard task based on object method System.GenericInstantiate (or something similer - I currently do not have access to the system). You need the object key available in the WF container to do this. It could be tricky if the object key is multipart. Once an object reference is available in the WF container, you can wait for an event of that object.

Short Dump in Standard program for the INSERT Statement

Hi All,
In the Transaction FPCJ, when I click on the Button Close Cash Desk, I ma getting a short Dump.
The problem is in the Standard SAP program 'SAPLSUU1' and the include program is 'LSUU1F01'.
The reason is the code is trying to insert duplicate entries into a Data base table. And SAP is suggesting for a SAp NOTE.
The problem is when I am trying with the suggested dearch terms I get very large number of notes and I am unable
to zero down any single note.
If someone has worked on these or have any idea on the Note number, please share that with me.

Before asserting your solution on someone be sure what exactly is the problem. If you check the OP's code, CALL TRANSACTION will be called only when the READ TABLE is successful.
So how does your solution add benefit to the existing one.

Hi folks,
My requirement is to create a workflow using business event. It is done and working as expected in 'development' instance.
Next I need to move the workflow and implement the business events in 'Production' instance. But am not having the sysadmin login credentials for production and it is the option to create to business events.
Kindly suggest me any other solution for this

You can do this via command line WFXLoad utility but you will need the apps scheme password.
In the source environment, where the event and its subscriptions are define, download the data as follows:
- Download business event definition

In the syntax I used eventDef.wfx and eventSubs.wfx but you can use any file name.

I have a requirement to raise a business event . when PO is approved, PO is closed or PO is cancelled. Can someone tell me if we have standard oracle business events which can be triggered.

Short Dump during Business Content Installation

Hi Gurus,
       I'm working on SAP BI 7.0. I'm getting a Short Dump Error stating " Program error: ASSIGN with length 0 in program "SAPLSNR3". " while I'm try to install the Business Content.
      I'm getting this error when I'm trying to install Business Content with Grouping Option " Data flow Before ", but I didn't face any problem when I started off with the Grouping Option " Only Necessary Objects ".
     I tried analysing this problem by going to ST22 transaction & during my analysis I found that in the said program " SAPLSNR3 ", there's LSNR3F01 include in which line number 178 is having a ASSIGN statement, where its trying to assign a computed value to some data variable. Now i understand that there's some problem with the value getting computed in the ASSIGN statement.
     I also tried finding some SAP Notes for the same problem, but to my misery I couldn't find anything appropriate. Could anyone of you who had faced similar problem help me out.
     For further assistance in making your replies much easier here in I'm adding the information about BI 7.0 system components.

Short dump in BIW 7.0 business content installation

Dear Friends,
I am trying to install business content in BIW 7.0 . In RSA1 ->BI Content --> Object Types > Query Elements> Grouping data flow before ---> Install.
Once I start this installation process it gives short dump.
The dump says

What happened?
    Error in the ABAP Application Program
    The current ABAP program "CL_RSD_IOBJ_VERS==============CP" had to be
     terminated because it has
    come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Error analysis
    You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')
    access a component (variable: " ").
    An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)
    before it can be used to access components.
    Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the
    CLEAR statement.
Can anybody tell me why this dump occures. Am I missing any step in BI installation.

Short dump "Time limit exceeded" when searching for Business Transactions

Hello Experts,
We migrated from SAP CRM 5.2 to SAP CRM 7.0. After migration, our business transaction search (quotation, sales order, service order, contract etc) ends with the short dump "Time limit exceeded" in class CL_CRM_REPORT_ACC_DYNAMIC, method DATABASE_ACCESS. The select query is triggered from line 5 of this method.

CRMD_ORDERADM_H: 5,115,675
CRMD_ORDER_INDEX: 74,615,914
We have done these so far, but the performance is still either poor or times out.
1. DB team checked the ORACLE parameters and confirmed they are fine. They also checked the health of indices in table CRMD_ORDER_INDEX and indices are healthy
2. Created additional indices on CRMD_ORDERADM_H and CRMD_ORDER_INDEX. After the creation of indices, some of the searches(without any criteria) work. But it takes more than a minute to fetch 1 or 2 records
3. An ST05 trace confirmed that the selection on CRMD_ORDER_INDEX takes the most time. It takes about 103 seconds to fetch 2 records (max hits + 1)
4. If we specify search parameters, say for example a date or status, then again we get a short dump with the message "Time limit exceeded".
5. Observed that only if a matching index is available for the WHERE clause, the results are returned (albeit slowly). In the absence of an index, we get the dump.
6. Searched for notes and there are no notes that could help us.
Any idea what is causing this issue and what we can do to resolve this?

Thanks. Yes we considered the note 1527039. None of the three scenarios mentioned in the note helped us. But we ran CRM_INDEX_REBUILD to check if the table CRMD_ORDER_INDEX had a problem. That did not help us either.
The business users told us that they mostly search using the date fields or Object ID. We did not have any problem with search by Object ID. So we created additional indices to support search using the date fields.

Short dump while executing report group.

Hi,
We are upgrading to ECC6.0 from 4.6C
Now while testing the report group i got short dump.
This is due to to the 'Exception condition "LOAD_PROBLEMS" raised.'
Error analysis
    A RAISE statement in the program "SAPLSLDB" raised the exception
    condition "LOAD_PROBLEMS".
    Since the exception was not intercepted by a superior
    program, processing was terminated.
    Short description of exception condition:
    For detailed documentation of the exception condition, use
    Transaction SE37 (Function Library). You can take the called
    function module from the display of active calls.
Function module 'SELOPTS_AND_PARAMS' in this that statement was there.
Can some one help me out. what i have to do further.

Actually what I analysed is what ever the exception raised due to this sy-subrc that exception i think the superior program is not receiving. I think due to this it is going for short dump.

Standard Business Event issue in SOA.

Hi,
I created a subscription in SOA for the standard business event (*oracle.apps.jtf.cac.task.updateTask*) using Oracle Apps Adapter. When the event is fired in the Oracle EBusiness Suite, I am expecting SOA to capture the payload and create an instance. The instances are not created.
This is the workaround I did to check if the events are firing or not.
1. Whenever a standard business event is fired, we can see a record in WF_DEFERRED queue. In this case too, I am able to see the record.
2. From WF_DEFERRED, the data should flow into WF_BPEL_Q. I am unable to see a record in this table in my case.
Which mean the events are firing but SOA is unable to capture the events. I tried to raise a JAVA event in the Oracle EBusiness Suite's workflow manager and SOA was able to capture the payload and an instance was created in weblogic EM. But when I update the task in the Oracle EBS, SOA is not able to capture the payload.
Any inputs to fix this issue is greatly appreciated. Please help.

Event scriptions created on standard business events not firing

We have created a subscription and written custom code in the standard business event oracle.apps.eam.workorder.created . It should fire after a work order is created, but somehow our code is not getting executed. Tried with phase <100 and >=100
Is there anything else that we need to do?

For future reference, you have to set the Enable Workflow for Workorders flag in the EAM Parameters form in order to get the seeded business events to fire. If you only want to use the business events and not the workflow, then you could modify the workflow to bypass the approval.

APPS Adapter (ESB) error while reading standard business event

Hi,
I tested the sample services on TEST (myhost:7780) to consume the standard business event (oracle.apps.ar.hz.PartySite.create). Following exceptions are logged in j2ee log files (Section-1). The business event message is also rejected (see section-2).
Does anyone in this forum ever faced this issue OR any idea to address this issue more correctly.

I've recently had issues with the Apps Adapter for event listening when i upgraded to 10.1.3.3
There have been problems with the way the namespace is derived. I applied patch 6267726 and now it works great!
When I create a new listener for an event, a new xsd is created, specific to the name of the adapter process in EBS and henceforth the payload has that specific namespace attached. For example:
http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/APPS/ListenForOrganizationCreate
Events then get raised that reflect that namespace. XSL transformations then need to reflect that namespace in your routing rules.
It may be that the XSLT mappings are expecting a different namespace than you are receiving..
Give the patch a try if you are on 10.1.3.3 and then try and rebuild a process from scratch to see if it works.
