Show all rows in interacive report

Hi there,
I built an interactive report, when I run the report it shows just 15 rows with the ability to see the next 15 rows -
Iam asking how to show all rows as a default whenever the user runs the report.
Regards,
Abdul

I saw in another thread that the trick is to log out as the developer and close the browser. I tried that and now it appears that my change to 100 rows as the default report rows seems to hold when I log in just to the application in another browser. When I tried it without logging out, it did not seem that the default became active--even when going in through another browser. Seems like a bug that should be fixed??

  • Showing all rows in updatable report

    Hi everyone,
    the users of my application have requested the option of showing all records, even though the updatable report has pagination turned on. How can this be achieved at run time?
    Thanks a lot,
    Henrik

    By specifying a select list - some static LOV for the number of rows you want to show. You can enter the name of that item in your report properties - Number of Rows Item.

  • Report Region show all rows?

    Hi,
    I have a report region in which I want to show all rows. Setting the pagination scheme to No Pagination doesn't
    seem to do the trick. I have set Number of Rows and Maximum Row Count both to NULL. Nothing seems to work.
    Is there some trick to get all rows to be displayed?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
    I have two report regions on different pages. On both I have set 'Number of Rows' and 'Maximum Row Count' to null. One report will return all the records in a query (~800), the other report will only return 500. I can't see any other differences in the reports that would cause this behaviour.
    I didn't really want to restrict my reports to a set number of rows, is this really the only option?
    Thanks,
    Rochelle.

  • Trouble displaying all rows in classic report

    Hi,
    I have a classic report which pulls out data based on item in bind variable (which is a select list). Some entries should have about 200 rows but the page only shows 15 rows.
    I have tried setting pagination to none still dont get to see all rows. Here is my setup for pagination for the table: http://i.imgur.com/iQoG0.png
    If I get my pagination back, then I get to see all rows by clicking next but I need to show all rows in the page. Is there anything else I need to be doing aside from setting pagination to none?

    The Number of Rows item determines the number of rows on page. You have set it to 999, so that looks ok.

    Add a Reset Pagination Process at Processing point "Before Regions" (or anywhere before that) and you will be ok.
    The browser cache does not clear the pagination on its own at times.

  • How to show all view tab (Main Report and all Sub Report) in Visual FoxPro 9

    I use ActiveX from Crystal Report Developer XI for viewer in Visual FoxPro 9 and I already know how to show Main Report by using command:
    oRptRun=createobject("CrystalRuntime.Application")
    oRptView=thisform.oleRptViewer
    oRptOpen=oRptRun.OpenReport('MyReport.rpt')
    oRptView.ReportSource=oRptOpen
    oRptView.ViewReport
    Inside the MyReport.rpt there is two subreport name :
    1. MySubReport1
    2. MySubReport2
    My Question is :
    How to show all view tab (Main Report and all Sub Report) at the 1st time we call ViewReport?
    I try to using command :
    oRptRun=createobject("CrystalRuntime.Application")
    oRptView=thisform.oleRptViewer
    oRptOpen=oRptRun.OpenReport('MyReport.rpt')
    oRptSub=oRptOpen.OpenSubreport("MySubReport1")
    oRptSub=oRptOpen.OpenSubreport("MySubReport2")
    oRptView.ReportSource=oRptOpen
    oRptView.ViewReport
    but only show Main Report (view tab name : Preview)?
    Did I miss any command before I call oRptView.ViewReport?

    Your right, there is only one tab to view the report.
    To open the subreports you will need to click on them in the main report. I don't know of a way to open them programmatically like you are doing here

  • Export for all rows of a Report Region

    Hi,
    I have a html region with a query button to restrict which rows get selected in a reports region below it.
    But I also want to have a link to export all rows in the report to a csv file. Button the report region may already
    have selected data in it that is not necessarily all rows in the report. Thus I guess I am wondering if I should
    create a whole separate hidden report region that will always select all rows in the query to relate the
    export link to? Or if I can someone use the current report region and select all rows for the export but
    not requery or change the currently displayed report regions results?
    Thanks in advance!

    Yes I just created a hidden report i.e. one with all columns set to
    APEX_APPLICATION.G_EXCEL_FORMAT = TRUE
    And then just create a javascript function to call the export routine...

  • Bex Query not passing all rows to Crystal reports

    hello experts,
    i have created a bex query that shows all employees from the master data table and links to the cats table to show absence hours...
    in bex, all employees are showing and some of the employees have hours showing for sick time. this is known as a left outer join.
    i have created a report in crystal with this bex query and it does not show rows from the master data that do not have a link to the cats table. only the rows that have a link to the cats table are showing up. (this is compared to a inner join)
    the reason i need the master data from the employee table is that the users want to divide the total hours off(sick time) per department by the total employees in that department.
    here is the sql query from crystal that was created automatically when i used the bex query to created the crystal report.
    SELECT {Measures.4J8L2TQJ3P517ISQ1R4Y8UZ36, Measures.4J9PY3UANRIW2HW15YSOED92A, Measures.4J9TLIO0NDQROSA2YONCW6HB6}
    ON COLUMNS,
    NON EMPTY
    CROSSJOIN(0EMPLOYEE.LEVEL01.MEMBERS, 0EMPLOYEE__0COMP_CODE.LEVEL01.MEMBERS)
    DIMENSION PROPERTIES 0EMPLOYEE.50COMP_CODE, 0EMPLOYEE.50MAST_CCTR ON ROWS
    FROM ZCATS_MC1/ZZCATS_MC1_Q001C
    SAP VARIABLES 0I_DAYS INCLUDING 0CALDAY.20100502 : 0CALDAY.20100903
    i am using the mdx driver, and the integration kit is 2.8.
    any thoughts?
    thanks,
    erik

    Thanks Ingo for the quick response.
    this sounds like a limitation in the integration between bex and crystal because the query shows the correct data and the crystal reports does not. i have tried to add a calculated key figure to all the rows and put a number in it but it still does not show the rows in crystal.
    my issue is that they(the business users) want to know all the employees in the employee master data along with all the sick / illness data.
    do you have a suggestion for this issue?
    do you think that the mdx driver should be updated to allow master data to flow to crystal?
    thx,
    Erik

  • Analysis does not show all rows returned by SQL

    Hi.
    OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0
    I have a strange problem.  I have a simple table that should return customer number and sales.  The report will show all of the sales, but it does not show all the customer numbers.  The SQL that OBIEE creates does return all of the customer numbers.  When I remove the sales and just include the customer number, the report only shows a couple of the customer numbers (it should show several hundred).
    I guess what I'm looking for is any advice for how to debug this.  I have spent about 3 days on this problem, so I have tried to look at it from every angle (data, RPD, report).
    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply.
    New development.  The issue has to do with a descriptor ID column.  The customer number column is a varchar field and I set the descriptor ID column to the column_ID field.  When I remove the descriptor ID setting, I received all custom numbers.

  • Display all rows in the report

    Hi all,
    I've a report which requires all the rows to be displayed even if no data is present.
    For e.g. I've agebucket classification in my rows. Certain agebucket classification has no ppl in it.so i want it to be displayed with 0 as its value. could anyone please help?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    If you have taken <i>agebuckets</i> as selections , then you will get balnk cells if there are no records satisfies the restrictions given in those selections. So to get zero in place of Blank value , you need to dependent on Formulas as shown below:
    Lets say you have selections like <i>agebucket1</i>,<i>agebucket2</i>.
    Then you need 2 formulas .And you need to hide   <i>agebucket1</i>,<i>agebucket2</i>.
    1st formula:
    ( <i>agebucket1</i> == 0 ) * 0 + ( <i>agebucket1</i> <> 0 ) * <i>agebucket1</i>
    2nd formula:
    ( <i>agebucket2</i> == 0 ) * 0 + ( <i>agebucket2</i> <> 0 ) * <i>agebucket2</i>

  • Javascript alert when showing all rows of a huge table ( 2000 rows)

    i've got this problem. I need to show all the rows of a table, i'm using ADF 10.1.3.4.
    What have i done so far?first of all i created a command link
    <af:commandLink shortDesc="Mostra Tutto" id="showAll"
    disabled="#{bindings.findAllVwEntePrmzRefrIter.estimatedRowCount == 0}"
    action="#{backing_editReferenza.onShowAll}"
    />
    In the backing bean i set the rangeSize of the table to -1
    public String onShowAll() {
    Object objShowAll = getSession().getAttribute("showAll");
    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ValueBinding vb = fc.getApplication().createValueBinding("#{bindings.findAllVwEntePrmzRefrIter}");
    DCIteratorBinding dc = (DCIteratorBinding)vb.getValue(fc);
    int oldRangeSize = dc.getRangeSize();
RangeSize(-1);
    int rangeSize = dc.getAllRowsInRange().length;
RangeSize(oldRangeSize);
    if ("Y".equals(objShowAll)) {
    getSession().removeAttribute("showAll");
    Integer oldRange =
    (Integer)getSession().getAttribute("oldRangeSize");
    getSession().removeAttribute("oldRangeSize");
    getTable1().setRows(oldRange);
    } else {
    getSession().setAttribute("showAll", "Y");
    getSession().setAttribute("oldRangeSize", oldRangeSize);
    getTable1().setRows(rangeSize);
    return "";
    // AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(getTable1());
    Everything runs smoothly, but i have a problem if the table has lots of rows: i get a javascript warning that a script has been running for too long. (The alert goes: "Stop the execution of the script?" the usual javascript alert you get when a script runs for too long)
    What i want to achievt is that, if the table contains a lot of rows, the page takes a lot of time to load, but with no javascript involved (it's just a normal slow page).
    It seems that in some way the rows of the table are fetched by javascript and since the call is synchronous, it trigger the alert.
    This is how i declared the method iterator
    <methodIterator id="findAllVwEntePrmzRefrIter"
    Binds="findAllVwEntePrmzRefr.result"
    DataControl="FePrmzSLESSEJBLocal" RangeSize="10"
    BeanClass="it.ws.sma.prmz.ejb.model.VwEntePrmzRefr"
    Refresh="deferred"
    />
    and this is how i declared the table
    <af:table value="#{bindings.findAllVwEntePrmzRefr1.collectionModel}"
    var="row" styleClass="tableRefr #{backing_editReferenza.tableReferenzeStyleClass}"
    rows="#{bindings.findAllVwEntePrmzRefr1.rangeSize}"
    first="#{bindings.findAllVwEntePrmzRefr1.rangeStart}"
    emptyText="#{bindings.findAllVwEntePrmzRefr1.viewable ? 'Nessuna referenza trovata' : 'Accesso negato'}"
    binding="#{backing_editReferenza.table1}" id="table1"
    banding="row" bandingInterval="1"
    partialTriggers="btnEliminaRefr btnSvuotaPromo btnRemove btnAdd insVeloce">
    has anyone an idea onwhat could i do to have the table load all the rows from the server but withouth the alert?

    Sorry i haven't explain it well...
    the app is used to replicate entire databases, or agrupations of tables, from one database to another and it will have to be vendor independent... I'm trying with DB2, Oracle and MySQL. Later i will test it with more.
    Then I couldn't use vendor dependent SQL neither configuration parameters. Also I prefer to make the import logging the actions: for restoring purposes; maybe the user will have the option but defaults to the ohter.
    I'm thinking about some "strange" query SQL Stardard, like delete from table where (select .... using some kind of counter....

  • Show APEX Row Number in Report Region

    I would like to display the row number in the report region at the beginning of each row for each page (based on the number of rows to display per page).
    So if the number of rows per page is 15, I would want to show each row from 1 to 15. When going to the next page (16 - 31) I would like to show row 1 to 15 again next to each row.
    And if the number of rows per page is 20, I want to see row numbers 1 to 20 on each page.
    Since I believe an Update button only processes the current page, I would like to then use this row numbers (1 - 15) to get the values of the displayed column for each row to perform an insert to another table.

    You can use something like this:
    SELECT apex_item.text (1, '#ROWNUM#') row_num, empno, ename,
           deptno, comm, sal, mgr
      FROM empExample is here:

  • Enterprise Manager Database Control not showing all rows

    Hello,
    I populated a DB through SQL Developer but when I access the DB control of EM and hit "view data" for the correspondant table, only few of the rows are shown.
    Any idea why and HOW I can get it to show all the data I inserted?
    Many thanks!

    There could be few reasons as follows.
    1. You could have filter set in Sql Developer - Try the same from a sqlplus.
    2. you can have a VPD policy on the table - Check for policies on that table using dba_policies.
    3. Also try to analyze the table and check for num_rows from dba_tables. That will tell you exactly how many rows you have irrespective of tool, policy, etc etc.
    Thanks,
    Ankit.

  • How to display all rows in the report in one page in Oracle APEX 3.2

    Friends -
    We are using Oracle Applications Express 3.2 on oracle database 10.2.0.5 on solaris environment.
    One of our report contains total no of rows 50000. when we ran report by default it is showing 15 and i can go search and change display no of rows to different numbers and click go.
    My question is it possible to display all 50000 rows during first time report launching without going to change rows. Is there any option that we can set how many number of rows that we can display during report design.
    Please advise
    VSH

    Hello VSH,
    >> My question is it possible to display all 50000 rows during first time report launching without going to change rows
    As vee pointed out it is possible, however the question you need to ask yourself is is it wise?
    Bear in mind that displaying 50,000 rows on a single HTML page means a lot of code that must be loaded by the client browser all at once. What it will do to your page loading time? Browser memory? Network bandwidth? Also, do you really believe that it is effective to let an end user look for a specific row among 50,000 rows?

  • Need to show all BP in Crystal report CFL

    Dear All,
    I add a parameter of customer. However, only the BP that has transactions in SAP can be displayed in CFL. If I open BP screen, the cardcode field is not gray out, I cannot see it in CFL. How can I have the CFL show me the whole list? Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Yuka

    Hi Yuka,
    1. Created new report and paste below query in command whatever you paste above same without where condition.
    SELECT T1.CardCode, T1.CardName, T0.ClgCode, T0.Recontact, T2.Name, T0.Tel, T2.E_MailL, T0.Details, T0.Notes, Case T0.Closed When 'Y' Then 'Closed' Else '' End 'Status' FROM OCLG T0 INNER JOIN OCRD T1 ON T0.CardCode = T1.CardCode INNER JOIN OCPR T2 ON T0.CntctCode = T2.CntctCode
    2. GoTo "Field Explorer" in Crystal Report and create one parameter as following
    Customer @Select * From OCRD Where CardType='C'
    and properties for parameter as follows
    Type=String
    List of values = Static
    Value Field = None
    If you want From to give From to To customer then in Value Options set True for "Allow Multiple Values" Rest keep as it is.
    3. Goto Report Menu->Selection Formulas->Record then you can find in "Field Tree" your command name and all the fields once you double clicked on "cardcode" field it will come downside in details window after that just you have to paste below string next to your cardcode field and save it.
    ={?Customer From @Select * From OCRD Where CardType='C'}
    And one more thing there is no need to set order by for CFL.

    Sachin
