Show different content after every 5th web app listing

I have a web app that list products. I would like to show different content after 5th item from the web app.
So, it might look something like this.

You can only do that with javascript, Say you had a hidden contentholder with the add on it. You could use jQuery for example, store the .html() into a variable and then every nth-item (4th) you could .insertAfter()

Hi，
So switch a LAN card fix this issue...seems a compatibility issue or maybe some packs or programs you installed recently cause this issue.
Have you manually check the network adapter driver from the PC's manufacture website? sometimes, it will be a time delay before Microsoft push out the driver update.
Check if issue exists in safemode with network, this mode will launch Windows with limited sets of files and drivers.
if you have a restore point, restore the pc to a previous point at which the pc is functioning fine.

Inspection lot generation after every 5th goods receipt

Dear Gurus,
There is a scenario in my project. There are some materials for which the inspection is done on every 5th goods receipt. The inspection of the material will be done for the first time it is coming in the company's premise and for the next four time it will be forwarded directly to the production without any quality inspection. Is it possible in sap to create inspection lot after every 5th inward delivery? Or can anyone suggest me a way to capture this scenario in sap..

This is possible by using DMR in Task list.
Go to tcode QDR1-->Create a DMR with
follwoing steps;
Dyanmic modification : on Lot level
F5
Stage 10 Inspection seviarity :4 Skip :balnk ist: tick Text:first stage
OK
No of Inspectin:1
Max. skip duration:Blank
New insp. stage:20
NOT OK
Rejections 1
New insp. stage:10
Stage 20 Inspection seviarity :blank Skip :tick ist:blank Text:second stage
No of Inspectin:5
Max. skip duration:Blank
New insp. stage:10
NOT OK
Rejections 1
New insp. stage:10
SAVE
Now use this DMR in task list header at Lot level.
Attach this task list to inspection lot
make sure that you have ticeked on Skip & Auto UD in QM view.
Then in QA16 schecule for Auto UD after every 10 mins or 30 mins.
at plant level also make auto UD & skip 30 mins.
This will skip the 4 lots & UD will be taken in background.
After that it will come to QI
Revert back for More querries.

Filter Web App List

Is there a way to filter a result list from a web app?
I thought this would be a fairly common request, but can't find any details how to do it other that filter by the set 'Random' 'Latest' etc... I want to be able to filter a web app list - For example I may have 40 cats and dogs in the web app - I want to filter to show just the cats in the list.... I have a field in the web app that sets if the item is a dog or cat....???
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Duncan, I think what you have done will help, but I can't seem to get it to work.
I've setup a category app with data source to itself(?) and also the product app (one I had before but added category data source called 'category breed' linking to the new catory app). It is the part where I get it to pull in the matching products from the products app that have been set to the same cateogry... bit confused how to do this, or how you done it?? Any chance you could be give a few more details.
Do I have to 'classify' products to get this to work - or just select the category in the dropdown list?

Were the apps purchased fro the same accoubnt signed into in the iPod?
Are the apps compatible witht he iPOd model and iOS version?
Do you have restrictions set that prohibit instaling apps?

To be able to use the {tag_classifications} in the Web app list layout, list would allow for advanced filtering i nthe list layout.

Agreed!! Why this wasn't done when they added {tag_itemID} etc. is beyond me! This can be used for so many resources.

Module web app list tags - how to start a list to not include the first one?

I have two panels displaying a web app list and want them to follow on from each other, so panel one displays the first one {module_webapps,24027,l,,,,false,1,false,1} and then the second panel displays the 2nd and 3rd.

Web App List rendering in a table

I have three webapps listing on this site: http://browncommunicationsgroup.businesscatalyst.com/. The top slider, The area under "The Work" and in a modal window that opens when the view opprtunities link is clicked. The web app list in the "The Work" is rendering out in a table but the other two aren't. I'm not sure why. Does anyone know of a setting oe what I can do to get rid of these tables?

Liam is absolutely right, if you define any number for 'items per row' in the module_webapps tag BC renders the webapp list as a table. Once the number is removed BC will render whatever you have setup in your webapp list template. Hopefully this will be updated in the BC documentation soon as it is not clear that tables are used here by default.

OS X Server 2.1 kills every MySQL web app

Earlier this week I installed the Mountain Lion 10.8.2 update. This morning I installed the OS X Server 2.1 update. Yesterday all of my MySQL web apps were working fine; this morning, after the OS X Server 2.1 update, they all fail. Every one of them. It appears they're unable to establish a database connection. Needless to say, the wiki - that'd be Apple's wiki running on PostgreSQL - seems to be working fine.
Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this?

Did you backup before installing the update? Maybe a Time Machine update?
That way you can retrieve the php.ini file. If you modify anything havely in a succesfull way, always save it to a secure location.

How do I show/refresh data from an Access Web App in an Excel spreadsheet saved in a Document Library on Sharepoint 2013 online

I have an Access 2013 Web App in my Sharepoint 2013 online website. It contains a query to report on its data (several, actually, but let's keep it simple). I want to connect an Excel spreadsheet to the query, visualise the data in pivot tables/graphs/whatever,
save the spreadsheet in a Document Library, and let other team site Sharepoint users open the spreadsheet (preferably in Excel online, but with Excel client if it has to be) and see/copy the data, refreshed with the latest information from the Access Web App.

The way I'm doing it at the moment is to create an ODC file to connect to the cloud-based Access 2013 database, save that ODC in a Data Connection Library in the SP site, and use the saved ODC file as data source in the Excel spreadsheet. This works and
successfully keeps everything 'in the cloud' but I can't get it to refresh in Excel Online, and if I open the spreadsheet in Excel Client I have to enter the database password every time to refresh it. I don't really want to issue this password to everyone
who might want to view the data. There must be a better way than this ODC method, I suspect.
Googlings on this have led down various blind alleys - Excel Services, PowerPivots, Web Parts - but I'm stuck on which to follow through. Please, someone, point me to an article/book/website that explains how to do this step-by-step in simple language..

I don't see any quick way of achieving it - at least there's no such functionality exists in SharePoint. All you can do, develop an event receiver that will update the fields in the list item once the excel file is added/updated. You can use OpenXml API
to manipulate the excel file.

Request Summary: Average Response time showing value 0 after every 5 minute

Greeting Experts,
We are facing a strange problem on our portal, we have been assigned with the task of monitoring system performance of portal every one hour. But at the end of every hour, the values it was giving is 0 in the request summary tab(System Administration> Monitoring> Request Summary). After monitoring we found out that the monitoring is resetting after every 5 minutes which means that every 5 minutes the values are showing 0. We need to increase the reset time in request summary so as to evaluate the real performance of the system.
Please advice whether it is a normal case in portal, and whether the threshold can be increased in the portal.

Get the selected or active tab on a tabstrip to show different content

I have two tabs (TAB1 and TAB2) on a tabstrip. And on each of these tabs I have a table. Both tables are binded to the same context node.
The property selectedTab of the Tabstrip is binded to an attribute "TAB" of a context node "TABSTRIP".
I defined a supply function on this context node "TABSTRIP" in order to show the TAB1 by the first building up the view.
METHOD supply_tabstrip .

For removing a content database from a Web application, you can take steps as below:
1.On the Manage Content Databases page, click the content database that you want to remove.
2.On the Manage Content Database Settings page, in the Remove Content Database section, select the Remove content database check box.
If any sites are currently using this database, a message box appears. Click OK to indicate that you want to proceed with the removal.
3.Click OK.

Liquid sorting web app list items

FIltering is great in Liquid, but sorting the data by custom fields is something which our clients are really asking for.
Trying to say to a client, you can only sort alphabetically etc. is really making BC seem really unfriendly. Please, please, please can this be added or someone show me how this can be achieved without writing hundreds of lines of JavaScript for something which is so rudimentary in other languages / programming systems.

Hope I understand the question correctly.
Are you trying to allow the customer to set the sort order? And/or allow the customer to categories web app items into groups? Or simply, sort the data by a particular custom field, such a category?
Here's a simply solution I've got working: FAQs grouped into categories. I took this one step further and allowed my customers to even edit their categories, but you can hard code this per site if you like.
1) Collect the web app data into collections, so we can sort by custom fields.

IMO I don't think this is something BC should be expected to produce (but I could be persuaded )
