Show focus on the checkboxes when tabbing

Hi,
I have several af:selectBooleanCheckbox components on one form and would like to see that a checkbox are on focused as I tab through the fields. Firefox does show that the checkboxes are on fucused but IE does not. Does anyone know how get this to work on IE?

You can use a Javascprit function like:
in onsubmit event, you call a yourFunction() e there you put the follow code:
document.form.yourCheckbox.focus();
You can use in a onsubmit event, or onload, or any event you want.

It's the same in Dreamweaver's Live view. It shows the new color on Desktop view and not in the cell phone or tablet view. Can someone please explain. I want to be able to change the fonts and colors for viewing in the tablet and cell phone, also. The fonts were all standard fonts. Possible to have video playlists NOT show up in the music playlists tab?

I like how when I go to videos > video playlists, my iPod will show only the playlists that contain only movies and music videos inside.
Is it possible to have it so that the video-only playlists are parsed from the music > playlists tab? That section is cluttered enough as it is, and having empty playlists inside really doesn't help.
Also, anyone have tips for managing large amounts of songs? Since I have a lot of one-hit-wonders, the artist and album tabs has gotten populated with 1-song artists and 1-song albums, making it a pain for browsing through in search of whole albums.
Maybe I could put a symbol around the artist or album to make it higher or lower in the alphabet. From what I've seen, it goes symbols, numbers, then letters. Is there anything I can use to sort alphabetically in iTunes to be below the letter z?

I just remembered something; japanese characters (letters) are sorted by iTunes below the letter z. Accented characters (such as ö) get sorted next to their regular (o is higher than ö).
And so, I think I will go through and find all the albums and artists that only have one song to them and rename them using a japanese character so that they appear at the bottom of the album and artist lists. Should make looking through those much easier.

Possibly dumb new user question: What does it take to get variables to show up in the variables reporting tab?

I've been a LabVIEW user (2011) for about 1.5 years now and just got ahold of TestStand 2014 to try out as a structure for our future test needs.
I've been using it on and off for about 3 days and there's something that's been driving me nuts. When I run a sequence and the report comes up at the end, there's three tabs on it: Report, Steps, and Variables. Report and Steps are exactly what I expect to see. However, the Variables tab is always blank. Nothing I have found via my technique of checking everything in the menus that looks vaguely related and right-clicking things on many objects and checking those menus for other vaguely related things as well.
I tried searching for references to it, and everything I get relates to the "Main" variables tab that you see when editing the sequence, not the one that comes up on the report.

I suspect there's something incredibly obvious that I am missing but it's driving me nuts here...

You won't see that populated when an execution is complete. The variables are worthless at that point.
If you want to see that tab populated pause the execution in the middle. Or set a breakpoint. Then you can look at the variables at run time.

Why don't the names from my address book show up to the left when I compose a message? They did in Windows XP

Previously, when I clicked on "write", a column of names from my email address book would show up to the left of the message box and now they don't.
When I imported the personal and collected addresses, two folders of each showed up: an empty "Personal Addresses Book" and the "Personal Address book" that I had imported. The same happened with the Collected Addresses. I wonder if this is part of the problem.

Open a Write window and press F9 to turn the Contact Sidebar on.

Why won't a cursor show up in the shape when I double click it?

I thought you could just double click the shape to type in it...The cursor shows up outside the shape in the main part of the document or it highlights unrelated text from a text box, but it won't put a cursor in the shape. After trying 50 times, I will finally get the cursor in the box.

Anyway, there is really nothing out of the ordinary with the doc. When Pages Help says "Double click the shape and type the text you want," it does not work to just double click in the middle of the shape, like I would guess. I had to double click near the edge of the shape.

The letter "G" shows up in the start when I log in to my HTPC via SSH

I dont have this problem when I log in to my server via SSH. I'm using zsh on my workstation and bash on my HTPC and server. If I use bash on my workstation and log in to my HTPC the problem doesnt occur.
It doesnt causes any problems, but it's disturbing that it's there and that I cant solve it myself.

I am not sure what the problem is, but I might know where you can start searching for it.
I have had a similar problem but it was when I tried to convert the official init scripts to C. I got a G at the beginning and It didn't seem like the utf8 support worked for the console (å,ä, and ö didn't work). The problem that I had was that I couldn't get /etc/profile.d/locale.sh to execute correctly from within the C program, it might be that zsh doesn't execute the locale.sh script correctly. I don't have a solution for the problem since I am still trying to solve it myself.
Anyway. the script is partly generated from line 372 in rc.sysint (pkg: initscripts 2010.05-3):

How can I get slurs to show up in the score when in explode Polyphony?

I am using the Piano 1/2+3/4 mode in 9.1.5 and can add slurs to the upper three voices but in the lowest voice[4] the slurs doesn't show u in the score, they are listed as meta events in the score event list but are not visible , any ideas?

Same file name shows up at the RIP when printing

good morning, we are running acrobat cloud and we just got new iMacs running Maverick and ever since we've moved to the iMacs when we print to our Digimaster the file names are all the same unless we quit acrobat. Everything we print after that has the same name as the first thing we printed. i'm hoping its just a setting somewhere?

HT204384 Where does my sd card show up on the screen when I insert it?

I have inserted my SD card and it does not show up on the screen. What am I doing wrong? It is a SDHC card with pictures on it.

Go to Finder> Preferences >General > Show these items on Desktop > √ External Disk
It will show on the Desktop as you would expect.

LOV not validating from the list when tabbed out

I have an item attached to an LOV generated dynamically based on another LOV. When I change the value in the parent LOV, and just click on the child item(which still has old value) and tab out, it does not validate from the list which has new values. The old value in the field is actually wrong one. However, it shows new values when I click on list of values for the child item.
I am also setting the property VALIDATE_FROM_LIST to PROPERTY_TRUE. The code to set_lov_property to the dynamic query is generic and is used by both key-listval and when-new-item-instance triggers. Except in key-listval I added list_values.
I am using forms 6i version.
Can any one tell me where I am doing wrong?

Its because the item is not validating again, as there is no change in its contents. So you have to tell oracle to validate that item. For that in the WHEN_VALIDATE_ITEM trigger of the parent item, write,
SET_ITEM_PROPERTY('<block_name>.<child_item_name>', ITEM_IS_VALID, PROPERTY_FALSE);So when you tab out from the child item, the oracle will validate that item even if there is no change in the data.

Bug: Bookmarks do not show up on the browser when there is no connection

Pre is not showing bookmark icons when there is no internet connection.
I am currently on international roaming with no data connection, but am using the Pre over WiFi. The Pre turns off WiFi when not in use, and then reconnects as soon as i turn it on.
However, it takes a few seconds to reconnect to WiFi, and if I open the browser in the mean time, it just opens a blank window with no bookmarks. It has the address bar, but doesn't really work.
If I open the browser once it has connected to WiFi, everything works fine.

(You can't even edit full bookmarks list, either. I can understand, kinda, not displaying the icons as their only purpose it to launch a data connection to the site, which obviously you're not going to do when not connected to data. But IMO, you should still be able to organize your bookmarks, which doesn't look like you can do)

Neither the Counter nor the Email Me shows up on the page when I click them

Whereas earlier I was able to insert a counter and an "Email me" on my pages, I no longer can. I click either one and nothing shows up on my screen, neither in the text area nor in the footer (the boundaries of which I cannot see but which I have nonetheless set to be about 100 pixels).
What should I be doing to get those two items to show up when I click to insert them?

Hi Lorna,
The fact that you cannot select to Insert the counter and Email me buttons on your page indicates that those two items already exist somewhere on your page. They are most likely covered up by some other item, and it is your job to find them! Make sure that "Show Layout" is selected from the "View" menu. You can try to do a "Select All" Apple-A to see if you see any obscured adjustment handles.
Finally, make sure to open up the Content Height value of your page and/or the Footer height. Just increase the values of both to see if the items are being obscured...most likely your footer is obscuring the items because the items are placed in the body by default and your Content Height value is set to short. Increase the Content Height until you start to see the boundary for the Footer start moving south on the screen. See if you buttons appear under there.
I usually save adjusting the Footer and Content Height and stuff like that for the very last thing I do to a page.
