'Show Related Projects' in Marketing Calendar

Hi,
Does anyone know what the 'Show Related Projects' button in the Marketing Calendar is supposed to do? I was hoping that when selecting a Marketing Plan, clicking 'Show Related Projects' would results in an overview of all related campaigns to the selected Marketing Plan, but unfortunaly that doesn't seem to work. Does any one know what the exact purpose of this button is and how to configure it (if possible)?

Hi Jeroen,
Under Queries you can set a query to be executed that shows the related trade promotions or campaigns.
When we talk of "related marketing projects", this is in the sense that they have the same products assigned to them. This query allows you to restrict the amount of related projects you see. For example, you could define a query to only show you those related projects within a certain sales area or those that are of a certain campaign type. The queries you define here are user-dependent.

    Do the following customiseing settings for Marketing calender.
    Define search criteria
    Assign Search Criteria
    Assign Graphic Profile for Marketing Calendar
    marketing calender in  PCUI
    Define Views for Marketing Calendar
    You can use marketing plan and campaign to create from marketing calender dropdown values in pcui in GUI as well when you select marketing plan you will get graphical bar to select double click on it  will take you through marketing planner where you define marekting plan and you can change the dates usering the graphical bar by dragging as per date option you can set colours as per your marketing and campaign types as well.
    also apply snotes if you are working on CRM 5.0
    Note 941526 –PCUI calendar.  With related notes 948988 – Marketing Calendar does not print in its entirety ,

  • Customizing Integrated Marketing Calendar

    In Integrated Marketing Calendar of CRM EHP1,
    when right mouse button is clicked on the bar or blank area, you can create marketing plan and campaign through context menu.
    It is configured in
    IMG
    > Marketing Planning and Campaign Management
        >Integrated Marketing Calendar
          > Define Role Settings
            > Select Objects Allowed for Creation
    The functionality is exactly same to what my clients want, but the naming of it is different from what they want.
    e.g) for them the Campaign is 'Activity' and Marketing Plan is 'Project'. So I need to modify the program to show the context menu like below.
    New Campaign => New Activity
    New Marketing => New Project
    Is there any body who knows where to modify it?

    Hi Soyeon ,
        For the context menu that is shown on clicking a blank area , you can make Implicit enhancements at the end of the method  cl_mcal_utility=>get_allowed_obj_types_create  and change the description in the exporting table parameters .
      The context menu shown during right click on a project bar is a bit tougher to modify . The texts are hard-coded in the method  cl_mcal_xml_handler=>get_ctxt_menu_databar . I don't know if you can modify the class text elements . The other option would be to create an implicit enhancement at the end of the method and do a string replace on the exporting parameter ev_databar_ctxt_menu_xml . Be careful while modifying the XML string as any syntax errors ( unwanted space , extra quotes ) will cause the context menu to not be rendered .

  • Marketing Calendar on the PCUI

                  We have this problem with the Marketing Calendar on the PCUI. When we click on the marketing plan/project in the calendar its not going in to the planner showing all the details about them. I don't understand what is the problem. Any help?

                You can call me any which way you want :). Anyways coming to answering your question we made use of the SAP Notes that were available on the Service Marketplace.
    The notes that you have to refer to are:
    1. SAP Note 906318 and
    2. SAP Note 919964
    I found these notes and forwarded them to our CRM Techie and he took care of the rest like implementing this notes etc. I just happened to ping on him and he said that the 2nd one served our purpose.

    Hi,
    Is it possible to show your tasks in the calendar view in Outlook Web App 2013 ?
    Some explanations of what I want to do :-)
    We use Project Server so user can encode their work, this tasks are sync with an Exchange Server 2013 so tasks can be view in Outlook Web App. It's working really fine but we also want that in OWA, tasks are showed in a calendar so users can share what they
    have to do.
    How can we add the tasks into a calendar or how can an user can easily share what he do ?

    Tasks are not listed in
    calendar in Outlook/OWA, To view task you will have to go to
    Tasks folder or view the task
    in To-do bar. You can also see the tasks for the day
    in calendar folder if you go to Daily Task List. There are no Add-ins from Microsoft that can add
    tasks in the
    calendar along with Meetings/Appointments.

  • Depreciation Expense For Related Project Assets

    Dear All,
    I have a question, Please help.
    How can I post depreciation expense from Oracle Asset to Oracle Project Costing for assets that working and assigned to Projects like equipments and Cars that assigned to project..... and we want to post their deprecation expense as burden in oracle project costing ????
    ++Please find the below my search conclusion in past few days.++
    1- Oracle Say that "There is currently no interface between Oracle Assets and Oracle Projects which allows you to post depreciation expenses directly to projects."
    2- I have non-complete idea: I have a project Segment in AFF so I can Post depreciation expense for related project assets to GL directly, with Project segment value and create Expenditure Batch in Oracle costing to manually enter depreciation expense as lump-sum in Oracle costing but it is not preferred to create Entries in Subledger Accounting and not send it to GL so my question in this work-around, Can I Create Expenditure Batch and only create Distributions 'PRC: Distribute Labor Costs' ???
    And don't create rest steps "PRC: Generate Cost Accounting Events,PRC: Create Accounting, PRC: Transfer Journal Entries to GL"
    Please suggest best solution or help me in my work-around, its urgent

    Kindly find the below case as example ---
    There are 5 equipment like trucks and cars that working in project X100 so I want to show depreciation expense for the mentioned assets as Burden on the X100 Project in Oracle Project Costing Module..
    Please Consider the below focal points:
    1- Regarding Oracle Assets business Cycles. Oracle Assets send depreciation expense to GL directly and there is no any impact in Oracle Project Costing about Depreciation expense(for Project related assets )
    2- Project X100
    Project Cost = 10000 $
    Depreciation Expense for the 5 equipment (Project related assets) = 1000 $
    Real Project cost = Project Cost 10000 + Depreciation Expense for the 5 equipment 1000 = 11000 $
    I want to show Real Project cost in Costing Module so I have to record Assets Depreciation Expense for the Project related assets in Oracle Project Costing .... Can you help me about what the best way to record Assets Depreciation Expense for the Project related assets in Oracle Project Costing and please review my suggestion about expenditure batch in 1st post

  • Marketing calendar

    Hi all,
    i have 2 problem with the marketing calendar in PCUI.
    1) If I were to click on the Marketing Calendar tab, I am not able to see anything except for My Favorites in the Show dropdown menu.
    But if I create a campaign, and then click on the Go To button and click on Marketing Calendar, then can I only see 2 options in the Show dropdown menu. One is My favourites and the other one is my own saved query.
    My question here is, why is this the case? When i click on the Marketing Calendar tab, I do not see my saved query im the Show dropdown list?
    2)Also I had assigned colours to the various statuses of the campaign, but they appear to be grayed out. I can see the start date and end date but I can't see the the colour status for the campaign that i had created. Why is this happening?
    So are there any config or did i miss out any steps? Please help guide me ...

    But the start date and end date are not the same.
    I could see the list of Campaigns on the left hand side but the bars for the respective campaigns are not present.
    Hence I am not able to extend the campaigns or copy the campaigns etc

  • "Show in Project in New Tab"?? or alternative?  "Viewing History" list??

    Hi. The biggest rock in my Aperture workflow is not being able to instantly return to a view I had been recently using. I often work in a Smart Album, need to go to the Project in which a Version resides, and then return to the Smart Album. I sometimes simply need to refer to a photo elsewhere in my Library, then return to where I was. Is there an easy way to do this?
    Other programs provide a drop-down history list from which one can select previous views. This would be most useful. Aperture's tabbed views could be quite useful for this kind of "editing in one place, then another, then back", if there were some way of opening a new tab based on the current selected images, e.g.: "Show in Project in New Tab" or "Create New Album containing current selected photos in New Tab".
    I would love to know any work-arounds anyone has found usable.

    At its simplest, what I want to do is right-click an image and open the Project that contains it in another tab. This can't be done (afaict). In practice, it's even harder: you cannot open the same container in two different tabs (which would allow me to then right-click in one of the tabs, and later return to the first tab).
    Separate but related: the absence of a viewing history (MRU list) confounds me hourly.

  • Is there a way I can use a Master with sub-projects on different calendars?

    Wondering if I can get some advice creating a Master Project (MSP2013 Standard, no Project Server software). I have 3 projects of which 2 are utilising a Standard calendar 8:00AM to 5:00PM 8hr day 40hr week, and 1 project (the largest) utilising a Customised
    calendar 7:30AM to 3:30PM  7.5hr day 37.5hr week.
    The dominant project is running on the Customised calendar so I have set the Global Options in the Master to reflect the 7:30AM to 3:30PM  7.5hr day 37.5hr week. Then set the calendar in Master Project Information default to the Customised calendar. 
    Finally, the resource pool for all 3 projects is in the Master.
    No problem when I insert the sub-project into the Master which is using the customised calendar. All data is reflective of the original project.  However, when I insert either of the 2 sub-projects using the 40hr week calendar the Summary Headings for
    the inserted projects are incorrect.  For example, instead of being 2 weeks duration, the summary heading displays 2.13 weeks, and instead of 4 weeks duration, the summary heading displays 4.27 weeks.
    The Global settings appear to be interfering with the projects on the Standard calendars.  I am surprised and extremely frustrated as I thought the settings in the Master would not affect anything?

  • Marketing Calendar - Query Details Section

    Hello All,
    In the Marketing Calendar you can configure your own searches.
    When you go to the Query Definition view in Marketing Calendar there is a 'Find' dropdown list.
    In our system there are three options.
    1. CP Campaign
    2. DL Deal
    3. TP Trade Promotion
    According to the documentation in SPRO there should also be MP Marketing Plan but this does not show in the Find list.
    Can anyone tell me how I can make this appear?

    After defining and assigning the search criteria for marketing calender you need to Assign Graphic Profile for Marketing Calendar in spro and Define Views for Marketing Calendar
    Save the Query in the Advance search in marketing planner by giving some name as You will be able to see the dropdown list with all the querys you define in the marketing calender show field to selet the Query for search along with view. You can select any of the values from the view field as per your requirement for searching the marketing plans and campaigns according to the query you have defined in the advance search

    Hi Rajasekhar,
    It is not possible to enhance the marketing projects search used in marketing calendar directly. However, whenever you add custom fields to object like campaign, these objects become available in the marketing calendar search. So, first add the new field in the corresponding object. Then you can try AET to add this field from available fields list on the marketing calendar page.

    How can i assign colours to user defined statuses?  Can someone give me a step by step guide? I have attempted to "assign graphic profile" by assigning colours to user statuses. But the colour will not show although i am pretty sure i have assigned them correctly. Can someone help me please?

    one more thing....when i "Assign Graphic Profile for Marketing Calendar", do i have to:-
    1) highlight one BarProfile (ex All Colors - Profile 1) -> Click on Campaign types and assign "types" to the profile (ex Inbound) and then assign "Inbound" to the Status??
