Show Subreport Name in the header part of the main Report subreport wise

Hi,
I want to create a Report which contains a collection of Subreport.
In header part of the main report I have one expression which shows specific text for specific subreport.
In Detail
I have three subreport named as
Sureport1
Subreport2
Subreport3
I have given page name for all the three subreport as subreport name.
Now I create one Main report. Where I drag one table and delete the group.
I created three rows in this tablix.
And in each textbox I have inserted one rectangle.
and place all the three subreport.
and here my expression is mentioned below.
=IIf(Globals!PageName Like "Subreport1","Subreport1",
IIf(Globals!PageName Like "Subreport2","Subreport2",
IIf(Globals!PageName Like "Subreport3","Subreport3","")))
This expression is working when I am placing all the subreports inside separate rectangle but not working when I am placing all three subreports in one tablix.
For both case it is showing in report designer window but in second case it is not showing in the pdf.

Hi,
As the description, I understand that you want to display the subreports’ name on the page header of the main report. When the page display a subreport, display the corresponding subreport name in the header part of the main report.
Base on my understanding, you should have page break on each subreport(suppose you add the subreports without Rectangle) since there is no group in the main report and there should not be a page break in the main report. If I have misunderstood, please correct
me.
I was not able to reproduce the issue currently. How did you define the page name of your main report. If it is possible, please upload your rdl file to your OneDrive and share the link here. You can also capture the screenshot so that I can understand the
problem in more details.

I am having a 16 pages report where there the header part comes in only first page and the data flows to 16 pages
from second page onwards i am getting a empty space in the top portion (header part of the first page).
the property of repeating frames are
vertical elasticity=Yes
page protect =no
Base printing on =enclosing object.
keep with ancoring object=no.

I think that you may find that the stuff in the header is set to print on First Page rather than All Pages. Try looking at the items and change.

How to overwrite the header part of a wave file?????

I need to overwirte the header part of a wave file. Any one has ideas or similar experiences?
basically, I want to continousely save wave data from a sound card. At the end of my program, I need to write the data size of the final wave file to the header part of the wave file.
Is there a function to replace the content of a file? Thanks

I assume that what you want to do is add documentation into the header of the wav file such as the media type, location, equipment used .....
Some one may have written some routines to do this in Labview, unfortunately all the ones I have are written in Visual Basic, quite a long time ago.
Here are some pointers in the event that no one has any Labview stuff, we could even knock a few togther, if its not been done.
The WAV file falls into a cateory of Windows files known as RIFF format files, in fact you will see this written into the file header almost at the very front.
I quote here from the Microsoft Technet Article:-

Don't be put off by the fact that it often says AVI rather than WAV in the examples, the RIFF format is an extensible file format supporting lots of various media types even custom types. It's just that at the moment people are interested in Video.
There are standard fourcc codes that exist to hold various specific types of information and if one of these is not suitable you can create your own, there is (well was) even a way to regiser your own special type with Microsoft!!
There are a couple of ways of doing the job (assuming some kind sole does not donate a VI library).
1) Handle all the file i/o yourself by reading in the file and then insert the appropriate headers and rewrite the file out again.
Involved, but cross platform.
2) Muck about with Windows 'mmio' librarys (mmioCreateChunk).
Platform specific but possibly more reliable???
If you select option 1, then what you have to do is read in the appropriate chunk sizes(lengths) contained in the header, insert your appropriate FOURCC code, size(length) and data then adjust the affected 'chunk' size indicators to put all the various size indicators in the correct place, simple ehhh
If you select option 2, this requires linking to the appropriate DLL, it always my last resort to avoid DLL hell and portability issues.
As an example I wrote my own Turbo Pascal and later Visual Basic handlers which allowed attachment of lots of information from a form, and then created a special media format for the data to allow storing native measured data. These files are still recognised by WAV file readers today such as Media Player 10. Of course the data format is not understood because the encoding type was special, but that's the point.
One final point, there was a tool which read in a WAV file displaying all available headers, with C source (Windows 3.X) supplied in the MSDN toolkit. There are probalby other tools available by now, as a last resort If you decide to have a go I can send you my VB alpha version which reads all standard headers, it might write out a few as well (it was a very long time ago).

OK, it now sort of works. A couple of problems here:
After updating IOS, Safari iCloud was "automatically" switched off
Switching it on had no effect
resetting my iPad automatically switched off safari iCloud again
after switching it back on, it said "turning off safari data"
switched it off and on again, now it said : "turning on safari data" and the sync worked
On IOS 7 no problems
The bookmarks not being displayed was because after pressing the book icon, it defaulted to showing the history and I had to press "Back" to get to the other options

The new itunes overfills my window. When I try to move it to the left so that I can use the slide bar on the right, part of the left side of screen is not visible. How can I fix this, please.

The problem of tracks becoming de-linked between iTunes and the music files in your iTunes music folder happens for different reasons - this seems to come up fairly commonly in this forum.
The solution can be to locate each song in the iTunes library, as you mentioned - or, but wait, before I get to that...
trouble finding the original track in your iTunes music folder? maybe look for it under compilations, or if not using the 'group compilations preference' then look in the folder under the songs artist name, but what song artist name iTunes uses depends on what you have in the metedata tag spot for album artist or song artist. Any varyation in artist name spelling, in the menu item 'get info' metadata for any selected individual track will cause iTunes to create that as a separate artist folder in the library, even names like 'various' or any difference at all (even the word 'the' can change where in your iTunes music folder a track gets placed by iTunes). You can try to use the finder function of find file (finder munu item outside of iTunes) to locate hard to find items.
Back to how to re-link any de-linked tracks .
There may be scripts that can help re-link de-linked music files - or, at least provide you a list of such files, Scripts are easy to install and use...

In our system, some already added remarks are appearing in the PO header text field when i open a PO. I wanted to edit the remarks appearing in the PO header as a default. I wanted to know where these predefined texts are filled in. Appriciate if you can help me findout the same.

In the above said configuraiton path, they have mentioned "Purchase order" in the source object and the "Header Text" in the source text.
But i wanted to konw where the below mentioned genereic Notes/Remarks will be entered. For all the purchase orders, this text is autmatically get copied into the header text. i wanted to know from where it is originating and where we are maintaining.

When trying to troubleshoot my problem I discovered a forum that was saying certain NTFS drives work just fine
Apple support says that an NTFS or exFAT drive cannot be used when connected to the AirPort Extreme.
I suppose it is possible that someone might have been using some type of special software on the drive that might perform a "conversion", but without more details, it is hard to know.
Note: ExFAT and NTFS formats aren't supported.

Why is the last part of the Word Press install not working?

I am installing Word Press to work in Dreamweaver. I have installed MAMP and everything is working fine, I assume. The location of the files are /applications/MAMP/htdocs/wp-content/themes/twentyten.
I have installed PHP/MySql on my machine and have set up the wordpress database as instructed. The last part of the process has me bogged down. In following step one of the process, I get a blank screen. Here's the url: http://localhost/wp-admin/install.php and the instructions to complete the process.
With the WordPress files copied to the correct location in the htdocs folder, the web server installed, and a database created, open a browser and browse to http://localhost/wp-admin/install.php.
A screen telling you to create a configuration file will appear. Click the Create a Configuration File button.
Click the Let’s Go button to go to a page that allows you to enter your database information.
Type your database name, wordpress.
Type your MySQL user name and password (usually the user name and password are both admin, unless you changed them in the database).
For the Database Host type localhost.
Click Submit

I'm stuck installing virtualhosts in DW and using Wordpress templates, but I may be a few steps further than you are, so I'll try to help. I'm also using Windows, so who knows?
I'm assuming you are not using a virtual host, just a local host; therefore, I went to the section that has instructions for the steps you are on in David Powers' "Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 with PHP: Training from the Source" and right after he has you launch the browser and open "wordpress/wp-admin/install.php" in "your [site name here] site." He goes on to write:
The URL depends on how you set up your testing environment:
Virutal host: http://[site name here]/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
Localhost: http://localhost/[site name here]/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php
NOTE: if you are using the MAMP default ports on a Mac, add :8888 after [site name here] for a virual host, or after a localhost.
So perhaps that's what you're missing, I really don't know.

I did not try your trick, didn't see your post until after i visited the Apple store. The tech at the genius bar did not know why my "Other" memory had grown so huge. It was over 24GB, which only left me with 1 GB free on my 32GB iPad. I had been loading and unloading video's yesterday thru itunes to try various compression settings. I did not notice the other categrory growing until I tried to load a 3 GB movie file and it told me I was out of memory.
I probably loaded and unloaded 30 different times, trying different compression settings. In the process of doing this, it apparently loaded up the "Other: stuff. To me it seems like recycle bin in windows, but no one knows how to free it up.
So here is what he did and it worked. He reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Then he hooked it up to itunes on his computer. Fortunately I have everything backed up on my home computer. When my iPad showed up on iTunes at the store, it showed the 24 MB of "Other" momentarily, then it reduced to about .7 GB giving me 24.5 GB free. Resetting it seemed to do the trick, but he still could tell me how this is happening and how to prevent it.
I think I'll try to call someone at applecare to get an explanation, hopefully.

Vertical lines on the lower part of the screen

The first and second time it happened, the lines were suddenly gone several weeks after. I want to know what is the main cause of this problem and how would it be fixed. Thanks!

I took my laptop to Staples and I bought a new one. The Tech plugged my old computer into an external monitor and the problem was not there. Wow. I bought the new computer and when I got home and rebooted the old computer, the problem was gone...........I'm not saying that plugging in the external monitor was the solution but something changed. Anyway, I would try plugging it into another monitor, or the tv or something just to eliminate that issue. Who knows. I'm keeping the new computer because it was a really good deal (wanted windows 7 pro), plus you say that the problem will show up again. Crazy.
