ShowPopupBehavior: pop-up does not stay open

I'm using an <af:showPopupBehavior> component with the triggerType set to "focus" inside an <af:inputText> to display a stylized tooltip.
It works fine when I use the mouse to give the text field focus, but when I tab into the text field the pop-up briefly appears and then disappears again.
Any ideas?

I just tested this with JDev 11.1.1.1.0 and firefox 3.5 and it works with tab key the same way as with mouse click:

Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. For URGENT questions go right to https://support.oracle.com and file a Prio 1 SR with Oracle Support. For everything else I don't see why your question is more urgent then others.
Did you check if maybe the port OC4J runs on (8889) is already used by another program (netstat)? Did you check the logfiles?

ICal does not stay open at start up

I know you guys will think this stupid but .....
I have iCal as a start-up item. The old version would start-up and stay on the desktop. The new version quickly closes though the app is still running.
I didnt want to fiddle with the "Plist" for fear I would loose all my data.
Is there a way one could hack into the preferances to keep it open after it first starts? or something?

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
No need to fear fiddling with .plist files.
They contain instructions for recording and executing tasks associated with the the application or function that owns them. They can and do become corrupted. If you look in the ~Library/Preferences Folder you can usually guess what application or function the .plist serves by analyzing the file name. In your case I would suspect com.apple.iCal.plist
Proper identification of the appropriate .plist is not always so obvious, but for example com.apple.iCal.plist is the preference file for iCal. When an application malfunctions, removing the associated .plist file from the preferences folder to the Desktop is often the best first troubleshooting step.
If you have a problem with an application, Quit the application, find the associated plist file in the Preferences Folder, and move it to the Desktop as a first step in your troubleshooting procedure. Then log out/in or restart and re-evaluate the performance of the application.
A new default .plist file is automatically created in your Preferences Folder after you remove the recalcitrant .plist and initiate the log out/in restart sequence. You can expect default application behavior and you will have to reset some preferences. If the application or function returns to normal after removing the .plist file, it will prove that the original file was corrupt, and you can now safely trash the .plist file which you placed on the Desktop.
If the application or function is unsatisfactory, the original copy of the plist file which was placed on the Desktop can be safely returned to the preferences folder. Just allow the system to replace the newer plist.
If you are having problems with any aspect of OS X, experiment with deleting the appropriate .plist file. Plist corruption is common and .plist file deletion often cures many problems. Too many users try intricate solutions first and end up complicating their problem.
As a safety valve, you should use the File>Export feature of your calendars before you experiment with the plist removal.

IdeaPad Yoga Windows 8.1 OnScreen keyboard does not stay open

I just bought a new ideapad yoga and upgraded from windows 8 to windows 8.1. Unfortunately, I can't open the onscreen keyboard. After it opens, it immediately closes itself. This problem has also been described here, but wasn't solved:

Top Sites page does not stay open after clicking New Tabs

I used to be able to click on “Open a new tab” and the “my top sites” would be available on that page. Now when I click on “Open a new tab”, “my top site” appears and disappears immediately; each and every time. However, if I open 2 new tabs and then go back and click on the 1st tab then the 2nd tab, “my top sites” are available. Also can I get my top sites as my home page?

There is this pref: browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground
But it doesn't have effect if you open links via the Library, it only works when opened via the browser window (menu, toolbar, sidebar).

Itunes app does not stay open since updated to ios7

Since updating to ios 7 when I open the iTunes Store app it closes straight away. I have reset and restored the phone worked fine once or twice but has started to do it again. Help.

DVD & Blu Ray Burner Drive Trays Do Not Stay Open When Media is in the Drive

I have a problem with both Windows 8/8.1 and the Windows 10 Technical Preview (there is no issue when I run Windows 7).
I have 2 optical drives: 1) DVD Burner and 2) Blu Ray Burner (I just got the second drive a few weeks ago). They are attached to the secondary SATA Chip (see below for specifics).
The problem I'm having is that when I eject media from either drive, the drive does not stay open, but rather immediately closes. Before I got the Blu Ray Burner, I had this problem with just the single DVD Burner by itself. I was hoping when I installed
Windows 10 Technical Preview that this problem would not be present, but it is present in that O/S as well.
This problem will repeat continuously if I attempt to use the eject button and so I either have to grab the disc while the tray is moving, or if I press the eject button again on the drive at the right time, I can get it to re-open and not close (this
is tricky to get the button timing right as it seems like it has to be done close to when the drive tray is fully extended when it starts retracting). It usually takes me 5 to 10 button presses to get it to stay open. Sometimes it will stay open for about
0.5 to 1s before it closes again, but most of the times it just immediately closes. I also have the same problem if I use the software eject feature by right clicking on the drive and choosing eject.
Of course, the expected behavior is that pressing the eject button should open the tray, but not close it immediately allowing you to remove the disc.
Here is some background information about my system and how the drives are connected:
1. Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EP45-ED3P Revision 1.0 LGA 775
2. Interface (for both drives): Gigabyte SATA II Chip - 2 x SATA 3 GB/s connectors (GSATA2_0, GSATA2_1) supporting up to 2 SATA 3 GB/s devices
3. Memory: 8 GB (4 x 2 GB)
It should be noted that I tri-boot between Windows 7, 8/8.1, and 10 Technical Preview and that this issue is not present in Windows 7, but has always been there in Windows 8/8.1 and now it is present in 10TP as well.
I've had this system for just over 6 years now and it is still going strong. It should be noted that I have both drives on the secondary SATA chip (as identified above), which is meant to be used with removable SATA devices.
Since the problem exhibits itself in both Windows 8/8.1 and 10TP, a reinstall of the O/S will have no affect on this problem and so this appears to be some other issue that is consistent between Windows 8/8.1 and 10TP.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
As you now have two optical drives in your Mac Pro, you need to be able to choose which drive to eject. That is built into the system. You just hold the Option key while tapping eject for the 2nd drive.

If your computer has two optical drives, hold down Option-Media Eject or Option-F12 to eject a disc from the second drive.

Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at [http://www.getfirefox.com getfirefox.com].
As for your issue, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.

when I tried to open document library in Windows explorer view by click 'Open with Explorer', it popped up “Your client does not support opening list with windows explorer”
OS: Windows Server 2008 Enterprise x64
IE: 9.0 32bit
webcient service is runing
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\WebClient\Parameters and changed the BasicAuthLevel to 2 instead of 1.
Anybody knows how?
