Sharepoint Online Tag Profile empty

Hello there.
We have been facing the following problem in Sharepoint Online.
We have created a document library and populated it with documents. For each document we have added some tags. We have also enabled "save
metadata on this list as social tags" in the library settings. Furthermore we created a tag cloud webpart on the home page of the site.
The tag cloud populates fine, that is, the tags are displayed correctly.
However when clicking on a tag, we are taken to the tag profile page. The tagged articles are not displayed as expected that they should.
Tagged articles are only displayed under the "popular within past 60 days" link. When clicking the "All" link, we get a
message saying "There are no available items tagged with <keyword>"
What's weird with this, is that it used to work and it somehow stopped a couple of days ago. Articles that were indexed a couple of days ago are shown under the "All" link. Any other article we tag is not shown.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?

We are having a similar issue in that the tag cloud appears but when anyone of the tags in the cloud is clicked, we are taken to the
my_site/tagprofile.aspx?termid=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX page but we just get the message
There are no available items taged with #tagname.
Clicking the Popular within the last 60 days doesn't return any results either.
I've set both the timer jobs in Aditya Gandhe's response to run every 10 minutes and they are completing successfully.
Can anyone suggest anything else?

Good topic. We use Yammer as MSFT will eventually make it default social platform. Yammer need to improve a lot and not their yet in terms of authentication and credential sharing.

SharePoint Online - Open large Doc Library With Explorer - "This folder is empty"

I'm using a Document Library in SharePoint Online to store over 50,000 files at around 40gb. I am a Site Collection Administrator, and I am in the Site Owners group. I can open the library in a browser and it displays the files correctly:
However, when I try to open this same library using Windows Explorer, it shows "This folder is empty."
I can add documents to this Document Library through Windows Explorer. However, once I close and reopen Windows Explorer, those documents no longer show in Windows Explorer. Any idea what would cause this and how do I resolve the issue?

Likely because you're exceeding the 5,000 LVT which also impacts Explorer view.

Rich Text Editor functionality for a DIV tag in a publishing page in SharePoint online

Hi,
We are having a requirement where we need RTE behavior of SharePoint 2013 Rich Html Field for a custom DIV. The scenario goes like this:
1. I have a publishing page
2. I dropped the content editor web part and to that content editor web part I will point to an HTML file that needs to be rendered in that content editor web part
3. I have one DIV in the above mentioned HTML files and I want that div to be editable and I need to RTE options for that DIV.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to create html rich text editor for a DIV tag in a publishing page in SharePoint online.
You can create your own Rich Text Editor.

SharePoint online 2013 event receiver error

I am currently working on a SharePoint online project. My code generates 6 documents in 6 different document libraries along with other metadata. When I save data to a List, the event receiver fires and creates all the 6 documents. But sometimes it stops creating
the 6 documents and left with 1 or 2 documents. Sometimes documents has been created but without any metadata.
The same code is working fine in my on-premises environment, but it sometimes breaks in the Office 365 environment. I also created a log list to track the issue as we cannot debug in Office 365. In the log list I found a error message saying "Thread was
being aborted." Below is my code. please help it is happening only in Office 365 environment.

Sharepoint Online CDN Error 503

Hi, i'm having a problem with a Sharepoint online Site (Office 365). When any page is loaded, many javascript libraries of Sharepoint fail to load from the CDN with Error 503. As a result of this errors all the pages appears to be broken because buttons
and everything that works with js is unresponsive.
Example of the errors (from Chrome's console):

SharePoint Online, Stop Workflow when Item Changed

Hello,
I have a workflow that sends an email to certain individuals upon creation and then sends a follow up reminder in 30 days if a specific field has not been changed. I want to edit that workflow to only send the reminder if the list item has not been
changed since creation (ie: modified date is after created date). Then create a second workflow that starts once the item is changed to send a different reminder email if the list item has been updated but not completed.
The problem I am having is that the workflow that sends the initial email is technically "changing" the list item and therefore triggering the second workflow which I don't want to happen. I tried to use the "If any value equals value"
condition on the "created" (date/time) and "modified" (date/time) fields but sending the initial email changes the modified field so they're never equal.
If there were a way to define a timestamp as [created date/time + X] I could set X to be 1 miute and then use the greater than or less than functions of the "If any value equals value" condition to make this work. Doesn't seem possible
to do.
Does anybody have any ideas of how to get around this?
I'm using SharePoint Online with O365 if that makes a difference.

add a column called 'start next workflow' which should be a Boolean with a default value of NO
in your first workflow, only at the point it should end, make the last action to change this new field to YES
in your second workflow, add a condition so that it only runs if this field is set to YES

Workflow in SharePoint Online 2013

Is is possible to have dynamic workflow in Sharepoint?
I want to create a workflow using visual studio or designer and the levels of approval in workflow will be controlled by a list. If the list contains 5 levels of approvers, workflow should be able to build 5 levels at runtime. If possible then, whether possible
in SharePoint online.
I am little new to Visual Studio workflow and office 365.
Please help.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to do customization in SharePoint Online with the requirement above.
For the first question, continue to Scott, you can read the rss feed, the rss feed effectively contains the items from the list, you can read the list using Client Object Model to get RSS feed.
For the second question, if you want to get current log in profile in my site, then you can try to use user profile rest api to get it.

For the third question, if you want to deploy the announcement app from on-premise to Online, if it's OOTB app, then it's not necessary, SharePoint Online have the announcement app as well.
For the fourth question, if the CapIQ is a customize solution, I suggest you can use SharePoint hosted app to publish to the SharePoint online site.

For the fifth question, if you want to upload the questions not create in site to the survey, you can use Client Object Model to create the questions.

SharePoint Online and POP email

I have a client who is interested in using SharePoint Online, but they are using pop email hosted by Rackspace. Can someone tell me if this will cause any issues with SharePoint, is there any limitation in SharePoint functionality when doing this? Would
email enable workflows still work with POP accounts. Also are there any issues with SSO and Federation with AD using SharePoint Online?

Hi,
The email address for users when used in a workflow is the email address set in SharePoint Admins User Profiles in Office 365. The field is called Work Email. This is automatically populated with the primary SMTP address of the user and mail is sent to it
if licensed for Exchange Online. Depending on the workflow, you should be able to send mail to external users, because the workflow when triggered will fall dependant on the permission of the user initiating the workflow.
No, there are no real issues with SSO (ADFS 2) or DirSync and SP Online... Just be sure to be mindful of deleting and recreating users, or stopping and starting sync because you could run into permissions issues within Sharepoint Online due to user guid
conflicts.

Yammer should be available with your O365 subscription today, but you would have to switch to it within the SharePoint Online tenant settings.
That said, end users can subscribe to Yammer groups, or specific tags, or specific users.

Has anyone been able to push custom user profile properties in SharePoint Online using the FIM SharePoint connector?

In SharePoint Online 2013, we can use jQuery to convert “&lt” to “<” and convert “&gt” to “>”.
