Shuttle Box data

I have created a shuttle box and given static columns in it , i need to display the data only for the select column on the right side box ,
region has the source with the code below :

if i remove : and give list of all the columns i have then i get all the data for all the columns, even though i select just 2 columns in the shuttle box....
Please help me getting the data for selected right hand side columns....
I am new to oracle apex....
If a code is there please let me knwo where it has to be written ? and what properties needs to be changed ...

I see here the shuttle box is used for selection of particular rows from particular column , but basically what i was looking is ..i need to display the data related to selected columns ..
i think it would be easy to use multislect list for this instead os shuttle item...
i changed my shuttle box to multiselect list and gave all my column names as static LOV values , above is my report query ,
in the given link someone gave the code for their criteria as below and said after submit process ..what does after submit process mean ?
Please could any body help me getting the data for the columns i select in the multiselect box ??
where do i need to write the code ?

    I am completely new to oracle apex...i think here there is a prcodure to get default values into the right side box, my question is , how do i write a query for all the items in the left side box columns when selected to right side, the data has to be displayed only for those columns...
    i am looking for syntax of the query ...
    For eg there 4 columns on the left hand side of the shuttle box
    job_id
    cluster_id
    cluster_code
    cluster_name
    and i select just job_id and cluster_id to right hand side , i need to display data associated with only these 2 columns...

  • Cascading LoVs in Apex 4 based on a shuttle box

    I've set up cascading LoVs based on a shuttle box. When values are moved to the right-hand side of the shuttle box, the cascaded LoV items have their existing values cleared.
    Is this a bug? Is there a fix or a workaround?

  • How to pass Shuttle Box value list in a link i.e. 1:2:3:n

    I want to pass the currently selected values in a shuttle box (i.e. a colon delimited string like 1:2:3:4) in a link on a button to a target page which also has a shuttle box.
    If I use PX_SOURCE_ITEM and &PX_TARGET_PAGE_ITEM. in the button definition, I only pass the first value on the list. I suppose it's a problem because of the use of ":"s separating actual values. ApEx treats ":" as separators in a link.
    Anyone know how to get around this?

    Paul - Wouldn't that be:
    PX_TARGET_PAGE_ITEM and &PX_SOURCE_ITEM. ?
    In any case, is the source value already in session state? If so, there is no need to pass it in the URL. The target page can obtain its value.

  • Check Box data NOT been collected consistently by Acrobat XI Pro

    Hi folks
    I'm having a real problem with Check Box data not being processed consistently by Acrobat XI Pro. 
    I've got 140 response forms back - and have processed them in one batch or smaller batches of 50 forms.  I can see the various check boxes ticked in the pdf view but on some forms that data does not get exported to the csv or xls.   For other forms it works fine. 
    I've tried various exports, even opening one returned pdf form and exporting that alone.  All with the same result.
    I'm at a loss to the problem.

    Corruption:  If the file is corrupted, do you know why Acrobat doesn’t report this?  There was no indication of an error in this respect. 
    Method: I have followed your suggestion. Opened ‘BORD0008checkboxissue.pdf’ in Acrobat ProXI.  Export as .fdf.  Close all files.
    Open a blank form in Acrobat Pro XI.  Import the fdf file. 
    Result;  The newly filled form is still missing checkbox data.  Result file at http://www.orchardrevival.org.uk/?p=798
    [ I also exported as xfdf and xml and csv, and looked at these files in a text editor. Neither had the correct checkbox data exported.  Therefore I think it is clear that Acrobat Pro XI is not exporting checkbox data for this file to any format]
    Does that shed any more light on what might be the problem ?

    Background to document:  An outline form was created on Word Mac 2008, and then a pdf generated with the Save As pdf in the Word dialogue (which I think may have been an Mac OS based generator). 
    Then the fillable form was created complete with all 143 fields in Acrobat Pro 8.  Then distributed by email.  So despite the fillable form being created in Acrobat Pro, the PDF Producer is reported as Mac OSX 10.n.n Quartz PDFContext for all forms.  However some of them work, some don’t. Obviously I do not have control over how the forms are filled out there in the wild – even though I’ve asked folk to use Adobe Reader.
    I’ve tried processing results with both Acrobat Pro 8 and XI with similar inconsistent results. (a further interesting issue is that the filename stated in the record is incorrect for that record)

    I want to create a shuttle box in Apex with simple copy option. the demo application I downloaded from oracle had a two level selection query option which I dont need and was not even compatible with my version. All I need is a way to shuttle single query values between two multiple select lists. I could not find any demo.
    My Apex version 2.1 with XE
    query : select distinct fieldid d, fieldid r from field order by 1
    What kind of buttons do I need.. ? submitting or url redirecting ?

    Not working is not enough of a description to help you out. I assume that what you mean is it won't install into XE since the demo was built in 2.2 and uses some 2.2 specific technology for the install.
    The way to get around that issue like I said was to get a free workspace on apex.oracle.com install the demo application there and then using some cutting and pasting recreate the demo app in your XE instance.

    Hi Experts,
          We are extracting data from R3 and we have an  problem with this error message
    Cannot open file </data_work/shuttle/ab.dat>. Please check its path and permissions.This problem occurs everyday but with different jobs. One day the job runs fine and sometimes fails with this message. All permissions to the file are fine its so intermittent with these jobs that we unable to source the problem. Also after the problem occurs when you re run the job it runs fine.
    Its also hard to re create the issue. BUt happens pretty much  every day during our production schedule
    Does the job server fails to read it??
    We are using DS 12.2.0.

    How are you tranfering the file? Shared directory? What about trying with the FTP server method?
    (You need an FTP server on your SAP machine.., IIS for Windows, ftpd for Unix)
    This way the FTP protocol would take care of the transport to your DS machine.
    An advantage is that with the FTP method you can put retries into the DSConfig.txt file.

  • Replace images in shuttle-box

    Hi,
    I want to use different images in the shuttle-box as delivered with apex (apex 4).
    The images are in the /i/htmldb/icons directory. I can change them here but then they are replaced for the whole apex installation and i want it only for one specific application.
    Please you advise for this issue.

  • Flying Shuttle Box & DMP 3000Q series desktop

    This is what i did :
    1.Re installed windows xp SP2 using the lenovo recovery cd
    2.Installed all the drivers in the order given by lenovo( Check the site for flying shuttle box if you want)
    3.Now the DMP wont start if i press the button below my monitor ( eventhought the box is getting power)
    So what do i do to get my Shuttle box working?? HuH? plzz help

  • Drop down box data is not saving in Adobe form.

    We are struggling in one pirticular issue to resolve. Please help me to resolve the below issue.
    1. We have created the adobe form using jave script. and make some entires are dynamic.
    2. We have created another drop down box having the vlaues of YES, NO. When YES there are some other drop down list and when No there are some other drop down lists.
    3. The options are working fine and drop down lists are showing all the values when download the form to local PC.
    4. When we try to enter the data into the drop down list and save and close it. When you re-open the form the saved data dissapering.
    This is the very critical issue for us. Kindly help me to resolve this issue. If  required further more information please let me know.

  • Combox Box date format

    In combox box, the labels are mapped to date format cells, when I change the insertion type to Filtered rows then the date is no more displayed in date format. It is displayed as a number. If the insetion type is other than filtered rows then it is displaying correctly.
    How can I sort out this problem.........

  • Missing check box data

    I imported a pdf form containing check box fields and distributed the form by email.  In responses, all the data is complete.  However, when I download a response as a pdf form, the check box fields are never checked.  Why?

    I’m sorry.  I just realized that the check box fields are ok when downloaded.  It’s an Acrobat 9 Pro issue. 
    FYI … After downloading the pdf form, I “Insert” a 2nd form to have the downloaded fields populate the 2nd form.  Upon inserting the 2nd form, all the fields in the 2nd form are populated as expected, except the check box fields, which then are all unchecked, even if they had been checked before the Insert.
    Any insight?

  • How to print a form that has scrollable boxes data?

    I have developed a form that individuals can fill out a box that is scrollable to fit a certain number of letters.  On the screen after the form has been completed I want to print out the form but the scrollable box only prints what is seen on the screen rather than what has been typed in the entire box.  How can I get a printout of this form with all the information that is in the scrollable box?

    AcroForms do not have dynamic fields. One could use templates to spawn a new page that has a larger form field with the same name. Another approach would be to export the data to an FDF and then have a different copy of the form with much larger fields for those fields that are over flowing and import the FDF into that form.

  • Multiple Selection List Box-- Data Reporting Problem...

    I want to build a form which reports all of the multiple selections made by users from a list box. When I test the form, only the first selection is reported in the dataset. How do I configure the form so that when data is compiled, each of the selections from the list box is reported in sequence?

    Here is the solution for the requirement.
    Add another 2 columns in the resource list: test1 (set default value to 1), test2 (no default value).
    Set test1 to 1 for all existing items in the resource list.
    Set test2 to 2 for the 10 special items.
    Custom form from InfoPath Designer, modify the data connection and also include the test1 and test2.
    Go to drop down control properties and make sure its value is 1 and 2.
     Go add the filter to multiple selection box control like this.
    Note: field1 is the field used by my drop down control in Main data connection.
        7.    Done. Now when we select test1 in drop down, we can see all list items in multiple selection box. And when we select test2 in drop down, we can see the 10 list items that with test2 column filled with 2.
