Sidecar.xml v32

Question

Hi! When i try to import articles with sidecar (v32 / indesign CC2014) i always get the error-message:
Error in the content generation. The file could not be opened. Confirm that the file can be opened in the current version of InDesign .
It doesn't matter if the files are original CC-files or oder transformed files.
Any advice? Thx!

First, try removing the "_h" from your filename. In the new workflow, you can use Alternate Layouts, so using "_h_ and "_v" doesn't make sense when the source is a file with a specified layout, like you have. It's OK to use "_h" and "_v," but you can't specify a layout because you already know which is portrait and which is landscape by the filename.
Second, you need to include the .indd at the end of the filename, even though you may not see it on your computer. MacOS may hide the file extensions, but they are still there.
Here's the result coming back to you two ways. The first assumes that you remove the _h from the file name, and the second removes the <layout/> tag.
