Signature verification error

I first used adobe signature, and then signed with other PDF reader, is a way to save incremental updates, but when use adobe to verification  the first signature, It said the file has been damaged.
this test file url is : http://d.pcs.baidu.com/file/246895905e945c8048b2f29e8d3882ee?fid=3878797535-250528-8517461 08&time=1389174592&rt=pr&sign=FDTAER-DCb740ccc5511e5e8fedcff06b081203-vgmkM59aT5I%2FFrO%2B ilUvkqnjKCQ%3D&expires=8h&prisign=RK9dhfZlTqV5TuwkO5ihMQzlM241kT2YfffnCZFTaEMUMBfcIUvWxSGd xC0c48jqMKoU5v/JKZUmpAWJz7OVR968T9IbhxN0HyatJJyE/fx232pW9BdEEXBtrRUCrJk2HOV0gRi4YibEZeu5nB kjeT8NS0o+RrqZhZ3p7aL9Lpw=&r=471201396&cflg=65535%3A1
Who can tell me the reason for the failure of the first signature verification , thank you.

I am having the same issue. I turned off my add ons which it did go away but from what I was told it has something to deal with the ask toolbar or any toolbar associated with ask. Which I have no toolbar dealing with ask or even an ask toolbar.
These are my addons:
Adblock Plus-Added 2 weeks before issue, never had an issue with it before, use for to block ads that carry viruses, worms and trojans.
G.a.i.arch toolbar -added recently after this re arose -This one is also a G.a.i.aonline bar-neither have search features so no ask dealing with them.
Greasemonkey also added recently- blocks crap in signatures and autoplay on profiles on G.a.i.aonline(not the issue either)
InboxDollars -three days on browser(this is my link to my inbox dollars account, where I can go to read my emails.
Java Quick Starter - this was already disabled, have issue with the extra Javas.
Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant- automatically part of the browser like Java Quick Starter
Password Exporter-added to re add passwords.

  • Download signature verification error with Itunes 10.5?

I have been trying to download ITunes 10.5 on to a Dell Windows XP. Download is really slow. I get that. But I get a signature verificayion error when I try download only. I have already deleted the Temp folder. I have not yet uninstall all ITunes and Quicktime. Perhaps I should wait a few days for Apples network to be under less strain?
    Please  advise. Thanks!

You should probably begin by doing all your windows vista windows updates, those should take care of updating windows installer.
Once you're updated on windows, you should check to see if you have a 64bit version of windows.
If you do, you'll want to install the 64bit version of itunes:  http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1427

  • Adobe Acrobat and Reader digital signature verification error logs

Can you help me how enable and where Acrobat 9.2 and Reader 9.2.3 error logs to analyse digital signature certificate revacation (CRL, OCSP)?

    Hi Gatis,
Check out the Security and Digital Signature Admin Guide athttp://learn.adobe.com/wiki/download/attachments/52658564/acrobat_reader_security_9x.pdf?v ersion=1
    http://learn.adobe.com/wiki/download/attachments/52658564/acrobat_reader_security_9x.pdf?v ersion=1
Once you get the file open look at section 5.3.4.4
The folder path has to exist, but Acrobat will create the file if it's missing. For example, if you want to save the file to C:\LogFile\digSigLog.txt the folder LogFile would have to exist on the C drive, but the log file itself will get created if it's not there already.
When you type in the file path and name in the Edit Binary Value dialog in regedit, make sure you null terminate the string by typing a zero at the end of the hex data on the left side of the dialog. It will look like a dot on the right side, but it's not really a dot (a dot is 2E in hex).

  • LTV Signature Verification error with VA with id-pkix-ocsp-nocheck

When adobe Reader 11 verify a LTV PDF Signature with OCSPNoCheck VA shows a message that signature is not a LTV

    Hi jonagr,
In the Acrobat world (and when I say Acrobat I mean both Acrobat and Reader), LTV only applies to the document signature over the PDF file. Part of that document signature consists of revocation checking and in order for the signature to be LTV compliant all of the revocation collateral must be embedded in the PDF document as part of the signature. The revocation info can consist of either a CRL or an OCSP response. If the cert that signs the OCSP response is a special use designee issued by the certificate authority to sign on its behalf it's that cert that has the OCSP noCheck flag set because there is no sense in doing revocation checking on this special use cert. Otherwise, you end up in a constant loop of validating the validator.
You shouldn't be using a certificate that is designated to sign OCSP responses (in lieu of the CA signing the response) to sign a PDF file. Starting with version 11.0.9 Acrobat/Reader should prevent you from signing if the Extended Key Usage asserts OCSP Signing.

    Hi all.

  • Signing a document, generates a "Timestamp signature property generation error:    Verification error."

I am getting this error message when I sign my documents. Especially when I try and create a second or third signature on a document.
I have just upgraded to Reader11.0.09 and then when I got the error, I went back to Reader 11.0.08 and then back to Reader 11.0.07 but all are giving the error. The document gets signed but a pop up box shows the "Timestamp signature property generation error: verification error"
I have the settings pointing to our timestamp server under Preferences > Document Timestamping  > Server Settings.
Under signature verification preferences > Verification > Verification time, I have the "Secure time (timestamp) embedded in the signature" selected.
It seems to work but is generating the error. If I open a new document and sign it sometimes it works without the error. Occasionally it produces the error on first signing. Mostly on second and third signatures on the page..
    Any ideas?

you can mail me directly to [email protected], and I'll try to help.

  • Cant update CF (Error occurred while installing the update:  Failed Signature verification)

Hi I'm suffering with this issue Bug#3506758 - MySQL 5.6 Unable to Execute Queries
and therefore am trying to update cf 10 to version 13 (current version is 8) however I get 'Error occurred while installing the update: Failed Signature verification'
    I'm running Mavericks on Mac.
Can anyone point me to a step by step way to resovle this please (I'm new to Macs and am a cf coder but alas dont have any experience in server admin).
    Thanks very much indeed.
    Nick

I was going to suggest that you needed to install the mandatory updater, but the Adobe help page for it says you shouldn't need to if you already have update 8 installed.  Might be worth verifying though.

  • SCUP publishing errors (signature verification fails)

I have been unable to publish updates with full content in SCUP since getting it set up. Here is the environment:
    Config Manager 2012 R2 environment
Installed SCUP on CAS (running Server 2008 R2)
    Configured SCUP to use proxy
Here are the steps I followed to get it set up:
Used IIS Manager to create a certificate request and got certificate from our vendor.
Imported cert into local computer Personal certificate store.
    Following
System Center Updates Publisher Signing Certificate Requirements & Step-by-Step Guide, exported .pfx with private keys for SCUP and exported .cer without keys into the Trusted Publishers and Trusted Root Certificate Authorities on the SCUP/CAS server.
I also configured a GPO to deploy these to clients.
Set up the Adobe catalogs, then tried to publish a reader update. Metadata updates work OK, but a full content publish generates errors.
These are the germane errors I am getting (with server name changed to something generic):

That might be the vendor of the cert but does not tell anything about the type of cert. It has to be a code signing one - otherwise it won't work.

  • Signature verification failed

    Hi all,
I've been seeing a really weird problem with signing my HTML5 extension for Illustrator. I'm using the ZXPSignCmd tool to create a .zxp bundle and sign my extension from the command line. I'm able to install the extension using the Extension Manager, and I've also been able to distribute it to a private group through Adobe Exchange. It installs just fine, and runs great the first time, but after closing Illustrator and reopening it the extension often fails to load and just shows a blank window. I'm on a Mac, and looking at the log file here shows the following error when it happens:
    /Users/<<userName>>/Library/Logs/CSXS/csxs-ILST.log
    2014-12-17 10:18:02 : ERROR Signature verification failed for <<extensionID>>
This is the only indication I have that it is a problem with the certificate. It seems really strange that it installs without errors and works once, but then fails when trying to load again. I was using a self-signed certificate, but I just bought a certificate from DigiCert to see if that would help, but I'm still having the same problem.
This actually happens very rarely on my machine, but happens frequently to my other users. I assume this is somehow because I have been doing the development on this computer, so something is different about my extension environment.
Has anyone else seen this issue at all? Does anyone have any tips that might help me to debug this? Other log files to look at, potential problems with the certificate or manifest file? I've tried about everything I could think of, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks,
    James

    Nailed :-)
For the folder you might save files into, there are few tokens in CEP:
/* Identifies the path to user data.  */
    SystemPath.USER_DATA = "userData";
/* Identifies the path to common files for Adobe applications.  */
    SystemPath.COMMON_FILES = "commonFiles";
/* Identifies the path to the user's default document folder.  */
    SystemPath.MY_DOCUMENTS = "myDocuments";
/* Identifies the path to current extension.  */
/* DEPRECATED, PLEASE USE EXTENSION INSTEAD.  */
    SystemPath.APPLICATION = "application";
/* Identifies the path to current extension.  */
    SystemPath.EXTENSION = "extension";
/* Identifies the path to hosting application's executable.  */
    SystemPath.HOST_APPLICATION = "hostApplication";
Otherwise you can rely on JSX folder tokens such as Folder.appData, Folder.userData etc (see a complete list on pages 56-57 of the JavaScript Tools Guide pdf) and create your extension's own folder.
Mind you, CEP extensions should support both indexedDB and localStorage - one of them might fit your needs.

  • %IPS-3-Invalid__digital_signature (signature verification fauilure)

    hi,
i try to load the IOS-S416-CLI.pkg into my C1841 ISR, using CLI
problem is signature cannot extract and show me this error message %IPS-3-Invalid__digital_signature (signature verification fauilure)
while i am using version 5 realm-cisco.pub signature, download from cisco tools
    anyone any idea for this?

    Hello,
This error message literally means that the crypto signature on your router and the crypto signature in the IPS signature update do not match. This can be the result of an incorrect pubkey in your router configuration or a corrupt signature package. If you transfer the signature update from one computer to another after downloading it from Cisco.com, be sure to do the transfer in binary mode. Transferring the file in ASCII mode will remove various characters from the binary file and make the file unusable. If you have not transferred the file after downloading it from Cisco.com, or you are certain that you have not used ASCII mode to transfer the file, try downloading the file again from Cisco.com. The original download may have been corrupt.
Below is the pubkey to compare with your router configuration:

    named-key realm-cisco.pub signature

  • Signature verification changes in Adobe Reader 9

[ I posted this message in the "Adobe Reader" forum, but I have realized that the post that I reference in my message belongs to this "Acrobat SDK" forum. So I've decided to send my post here, although this is not an Acrobat SDK question. Excuse me if you thing that my question should not be in this forum. ]
    Hi all,
I have found this post in this forum talking about changes in Adobe Reader 9 related to signature verification:
        http://forums.adobe.com/message/2439480#2439480
    I have another scenario:
    A PDF with two signatures.
After the first signature, a new page was added and then the PDF was signed again (using signature appearance).
Using Adobe Reader 8.1.5, the result of signature verification is successful for both signatures.
In fact, the byte range of the first signature is intact after adding the second signature.
But if I open it with Adobe Reader 9.2.0, the verification result is invalid signature (for the first signature): the document has been modified and there is a new page.
Since it seems that Adobe Reader 9 has added some new checks when verifying signatures, does anybody know (or know where can it be found) the list of new signature verification requirements of Adobe Reader 9 ?
Or the list of changes allowed in Adobe Reader 9 that do not invalidate signatures ?
Maybe a list similar to the changes allowed in the three types of certified signatures (TransformParams)?
    Thanks a lot in advance

    Thanks, lrosenth.
The document I was searching for is in Adobe site and is called "Adobe Acrobat 9 Digital Signatures, Changes and Improvements".

  • Email verification error

Ever since the latest update, I'm receiving this error when trying to setup an additional email account:
"Verification error Failed to verify email accounts from this device. All accounts will be deleted."
The options are "Yes" or "No"
Obviously, I'm not going to say "yes" to delete all accounts. Any fix for this problem???

    Thanks for your reply.
The phone is used for business so the problem had to be resolved quickly.  I called Verizon Support and was told to back up contacts and do a master reset and then reset all email accounts.

  • Verification error when run the game after download the jad/jar by OTA on BB 8300

On BB 8800, the jad/jar can be downloaded to the device, when run the game, there is a error msg "Error starting xxxx Module xxxx has verification error xxxx at offset xxxx", the version is OK on BB 8310, but failed on BB 8800 and 8300. I make the version by using proguard 3.8 and WTK22 preverify. I try RAPC preverify and failed again, use proguard 3.3.2 failed too.It seem that it is a compatible problem.
I check the article "Support - MIDlet has verification error at offset", and have no harvest.
BTW, the alx/jad/cod format works fine on BB 8800 and 8300.
    How to fix the bug?
    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,
I gather for your lack of details that you are wanting to get an application that you have written working on the device?
Otherwsie can you specify the name of the application and the details of the error. Someone may have expericne with it.
Lacking this however, the software needs to be fixed.
You'll have better luck looking on the Java forums, not here...

Thanks very much for replying Mylenium - i found this before but it only contains a link to photoshopCC rather than CS6 unless I have missed it??.    I have bought a licence for the student/teacher edition of CS6 (which I am still waiting for) so presume that downloading photoshop CC wont work.
