Silly question, I seem to have lost my CC, when I click on the Red button I don't get Photoshop page, no sign at all ?
I have uset Photoshop and Lightroom for years, joined CC a few weeks aog
but as I have CS5 still on the desktop and use Lightroom all the time I have gone
to CC only a few times, now I can't seem to open it at all. Any ideas ?
It looks that the update wasn't successful because your "More system details" list still shows a Firefox 3.6.18 version.
If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

I have an Iphone4 from verizon. This is my 2nd and still has the same problem I am trying to figure out. To turn on the phone, I press the top button, and then I slide to unlock the phone, i notice a flash before it gets to the main screen. Its a little irritating and it only does it every so often. I dont know anyone else that has this problem. I took it to the apple store and they said it may be in between updates. So they gave me a brand new one for free. At first they said it was because I had a screen protector on the front but that wasnt it, so it remains a mystery. Any ideas?
When you say turn on the phone, do you mean just unlocking the phone to get to your home screen ( icons)?

I am trying to INSTALL the free trials of AI and PS when I click on the link to install it goes to another page says installing but nothing is happening. I have the FREE TRIAL Creative Cloud Membership.

Please try the following steps assuming its a MAC:
1) Open Activity monitor and Force quit Adobe CEF Helper, Creative cloud, Adobe IPC Broker & Crash Deamon if available.
2) Try to open, if doesn't work then go to Applications>> Adobe Creative cloud>> Right click>> Get Info>> Click on the Add sign>> Select the user you are logged in>> Give Read and write access.
3) If that doesn't work then enable the root user and launch to update there, check this link on how to enable/sign in to root user Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X

I can't close the left hand tab except by exiting firefox. When i launch firefox the original tab stays open when I click on the red x, even if I have other tabs open.
i can alter the website displayed on the left hand tab but it still won't close and leave other more recent tabs open.Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Software updates sometimes do not install. I have two software updates that I continually show up as available to install. When I click on the install button it changes to installed. Checked About this Mac shows that the updates have not installed.

In the middle of using wi-fi on my MacBook Pro, I lost contact. No other apple devices (iMac, iPhone or iPad) are affected. When I click on the empty wi-fi icon (top right of the screen) it gives the message: Wi-Fi: No hardware installed. has anyone any clues?

Unfortunately, this message is almost always an indication that the internal AirPort card on the Mac has failed and will need to be replaced. This is a job for repair shop.

Sometimes your security software will block new programs from accessing the internet. Are you getting any alerts along those lines?
Sometimes Firefox will stall during startup and never display its window. In that case, you may need to manually "kill" the firefox.exe process using the Windows Task Manager before trying to start Firefox again.
You can display the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Esc. Windows 8.1 has a different display than Windows 7, so I have to go by memory. If you see a tab named Applications, check that one first. Then check Processes, and finally check Details. If you find Firefox or firefox.exe on any of those tabs, select it and End Process (or other action to shut it down).
After you are done with the Task Manager, try starting Firefox up again.

With th upgrade page displayed for maverick 10.10.2 I click on down load. Amessage pops up say there are other accounts that need to be updated and it gives me the account (old email address) which is an old account that I changed the name to new email address. When I click on OK and the down load the message pops up again. I have not been able to upgrade maverick.
What you are experiencing is 100% related to Malware.

When i go on my phone it says i have 3 new messages but when i click on it i really dont. I turned off and turned my phone on 3 times and it still says i have 3 new messages how do i stop that. Without actually turning on the bager icon thing that pops up on the app.

It sounds like your notification for messages is showing that you have a few mesages but when you go into the app, there are no new messages. I would start by signing out of your Apple ID in Settings > Messages. Then close the running apps on the phone:

Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone, sign back in, and try again:

Go to the App Store and check out the Purchases List. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1
If it is there, then drag your existing iPhoto app (not the library, just the app) to the trash
Install the App from the App Store.
Sometimes iPhoto is not visible on the Purchases List. it may be hidden. See this article for details on how to unhide it.

iPhoto the application and the iPhoto Library are two different parts of the iPhoto programme. So, reinstalling the app should not affect the Library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always. -
I've downloaded firefox19. When I click on the exe. file I don't have a "run" option. What do I do?
Running Win 7 on ASUS K53E notebook with 2 GHz cpu and 4GB ram. I installed software for an older digital camera and started getting "Firefox is already running....." message. I did a soft boot with no change. I uninstallled and re-installed Firefox with no change. System restore failed twice. I've run AVG and found no threats. I'm currently using IE9 but some changes have been made in it too. Don't know what's happened but I want to get it straightened out.
Try to delete the profiles.ini file to force Firefox to create a new default profile.

- left of the searchbar "extra tools for add ons"/install add on through file
- find the file "downloads"/ choose the add on + install
