Simple Pricing

Hi,
I created a new condition table (for price group), created a new Access Sequence, a new Condition Type (CT) and then condition record for this CT. Now when I try creating a new Sales Order, give my material, it gives the error.
Runtime Errors: SAPSQL_INVALID_FIELDNAME and there is some ABAP code also mentioned. I checked I have defined all fields in my Access Sequence properly. What should I do?
Should I directly contact the BASIS/ABAP guy or there is something wrong on my part?
Regards,
Smitha

Hi Smitha,
I think the problem is with condition table. while making the table which all fields you have copied from the field catalogue , Go and check the status of that. and then check whther you have assigned the table in a proper order in access sequence or not. after that try it i think this will solve your problem.
Reward Point if helpful.
Thanks,

    Calculation of Pricing Procedure:
Pricing Procedure = Sales Area + Document Pricing Procedure + Customer Pricing Procedure.
The Pricing Procedure is based on 5 Factors  i.e. Sales Area (Sales Org., Distribution Channel, Division), Document Pricing rocedure, customer Pricing Procedure.
The Pricing Procedure may differ from Sales area to Sales Area.
The Document Pricing Procedure is used to group or combine together the Sales Document Types.
The Customer Pricing Procedure is used to group the customers who has the similer pricing procedure.
    Configuration for Pricing Procedure:
    Define Condition Tables
SPRO > IMG > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Pricing > Pricing Control >
    - Define Condition Tables     -      T.Code V/03
    - Define Condition Types      -      T.Code V/06
    - Define Access Sequences   -    T.Code V/07
    - Define And Assign Pricing Procedures  -    T.Code V/08
    - Define Pricing By Item Category
    Step 1: Define Condition Tables:   T.Code V/03
    - Give a Table number to create. Here 1 to 500 tables are standard Condition Tables. You can create for 501 to 999.
    - Select the fields from the Field Catalog.
    - Click on the Generate icon for Generating the Table.
Repeate the above procedure for the number of pricing conditioins you have.
i.e. create a table with MATERIAL field if you have the price condition based only on the MATERIAL.
If you want a pricing condition based on Customer and Material then you need to create two condition tables. One table with Material field and the other table with Material and Customer as fields.
    Step 2: Define Condition Types:  T.Code v/06
    - Search for the standard Condition type (PR00 - Standard price) here you will have to select the condition type basing on your requirement.
    - Click on Copy as icon to copy the standard Condition Type to User defined.
    - in the next screen replace the standard condition type (i.e. PR00 with your own Condition type) and click on Save.
    Step 3: Define Access Sequence : T.Code V/07
    - Click on New Entries for creating new access sequence or you can also copy from the standard Access Sequence. (PR02 a standard Access Sequence for Condition type PR00)
    - Double Click on the ACCESSES folder in the Left side of the screen.
    - Click on New Entries
    - Give a new Access number and the Table Name you have created.
    - Double click on the FIELDS folder in thhe left side of the screen
    - in the fields check the 'INIT' Check Box for the fields to be activated.
    - Repeate the same procedure for activating the fields of all the table you have created. and Save.
Step 4: Assign Access Sequence to Condition type:- Go to Transaction V/06 and select your Condition type.
    - Click on Details button
    - Give the Replace Access Sequence with the one created by you.
Step 5: Define and Assign LPricing Procedures: T.Code V/08
    - Select the Standard pricing Procedure
    - Click on the Control Data tab
    - Click on New Entries
    - Give the Step value (it can be any number)
    - Give the Condition Type created
    - Give the Standard Settings for your Condition Type and Save
Step 6: Assign Pricing procedure to Sales Area , Document Pricing Pro. and Customer Pricing Pro.   T.Code OVKK
    - Click on New Entries.
    - Give the Sales Organisation, Distribution Channel, Division, Document Pricing procedure, Customer pricing procedure and the Pricing Procedure created by you and the Condition type and Save the Transaction.
    Step 7: Maintain Condition Records - T.Code VK11
    - Give the Condition Type Created
    - Select the Combination for Pricing
    - Fill in all the required fields.
    - Repeat the same for all the Combinations of pricing.
Now the Pricing Procedures are Created for each Pricing Condition.
Hope the above details will help you solving the other questions you have posted for the creation of Pricing Procedure.

  • Simple Pricing Procedure Help Required

I am using following for sales order pricing.
    Conditions Types:
    PR00 for base price
    HA00 for % Discount
HB00 for Fixed Discount (Value discount)
    MWST for Sales Tax
    Formulas:
HA00 is calculated (minus) from PR00
HB00 is calucated (minus) from PR00
    MWST is calculated from total discounted amount (PR00 - HA00 - HB00)
    Pricing Procedure
    Step ........Ctype........desc................from.....to........reqt........bastype........acckey
    10........pr00
    20........ha00....................................10
    30........hb00....................................20
    35................discounted Amount.......20.......30
    40........MWST.................................35..................10..............16..............MWS
    Issues
    1) in sales order, the condition type hb00 has amount 15, but it shows 0 under condition value column
    2) how can i calculated the total Customer A/R Value i.e. discounted amount + MWST

HB00 is fixed discount and in your pricing procedure you have assigned step no 20 agaist HB00 that means you are offering  fixed discount HB00 to HA00 for % Discount (because step no is HA00) and that is wrong
A discount is offered on another discount
Change HB00 from as step 10 from the original 20 (because step is PR00 which is base price and that deserves discount)
    It should look like this
    Pricing Procedure
    Step ........Ctype........desc................from.....to........reqt........bastype........acckey
    10........pr00
    20........ha00....................................10
    30........hb00....................................10........
    35................discounted Amount.......20.......30
    40........MWST.................................35..................10..............16..............MWS
Make the changes and post back

  • Pricing procedure not showing up in Inquiry

    Hi All,
I have developed a very simple pricing procedure for inquiry. It has only one condition type i.e. PR00. I just want to enter price to update the value of inquiry on saving. It works fine if i mention material ode in inquiry, but if i do not mention material code and enter qunatity with some description, then the condtion type PR00 does not show up in the conditions TAB. How can i record my inquiry with quantity and amount for text items.

  • Service pricing procedure

    hi friends,
this is chandra shekar working as MM consultant ,here i our project my client is procuring services i dont how to procure services with CIN settings so i know normal process of procurement with me21n create po and ml81n for gr but the thing i'm not getting is there any saperate pricing procedure for services and how to create that procedure
our client procedure is like this
    basic price 100
service tax 12 % on basic price
ecess 2 % on service tax
secess 1 % on service tax
so i want to this service can be claimable or not plz give send me if u have any screen shots
    thanks & regards
    chandra shekar

    Hi Sekhar,
As per my understanding you just have to create a simple pricing procedure for services with Price, PF & ESI payable (if any) & also the Non-deductible tax condition types in your MM side.
Now regarding the service tax as per the Tax Procedure you are using (INJ or INN) you have to create a Service tax code in FTXP & maintain the rates in FV11 accordingly.
Maintain the GL accounts for the tax condition types Account Keys in OB40.
Enter the same Tax code while you create a PO.
    Hope its clear.

    Hi All,
We have patched out SRM5.5 server system recently with  15 and  16 patch.
After the patch we are getting  many dums in production system.
When i check in the ST22 ,the error syaing that

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_BBP_PD_ABORT', was not caught and
        therefore caused a runtime error.
The reason for the exception is:
         *Incorrect status in pricing*
    How to correct the error
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to

We have got his issue all of suddenlly,

    Hi All,
thanks a lot for your response ,
I have done the  Simulation which shows everything is fine  and i have chcked with BBP_CND_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK  t-codes even that is also correct  only .
we are plannning for rasing the issue with SAP.
Besides that the system might have activated the BADI simple pricing active (or something like that). This would give trouble as well with the IPC (they can't both be active).
@Robin which the badi we can check.

  • MM:JEXC Cond types in Pricing

    Dear Gurus,

    Rgds,
    Vinay Parne

    Condition Type:
Every element of pricing is called a Condition Type.
Every Condition Type / Element will have a standard Technical Name.
    Few Standard Condition Types are:
    PR00 - STANDARD PRICE
KA00 - SALES DEAL with DISCOUNT
    KF00 - FRIGHT
T.Code V/06 is used to define the Condition Types.
There are around 256 condition types given by the Standard SAP System.
For our pricing configuration we can choose our own condition type from the list. In case a condition type does not match the requirement then we can copy the condition type and modify according to the requirement.
values are maintained for eveey condition type. i.e. condition records are maintained for condition types inside the condition table.

  • SRM 7.0  Unable to create PO - Classic Scenario.

    Hello,
We are able to successfully create the below scenario.
PR in ECC --> Get PR in SRM --> Start Collective processing -> Transfer to Central System (SC is created for the PR @ this time) --> Create RFx --> Rfx Response --> Create PO. (PO is created in ERP, Classic Scenario)
We are able to get the PR & we are able to create SC successfully and the PR/ SC is available in Sourcing cocpit.
Able to create RFx --> Rfx Response.
Now once the RFx Response is Accepted --> We go for creating PO.
    Classic Scenario.
The error is due to pricing - debugged and checked as mentioned in my earlier message.
IPC pricing is switched off and the BADI for simple pricing is activated.
Error :   " Message A BBP_PD 396 cannot be processed in plugin mode HTTP "
But this is due to pricing is what i guess.
Error is raised in FM "BBP_PDPRC_UPDATE".
    Kindly Suggest.
    Unable to Create PO

    Hi,
Please check and run the following reports (se38): BBP_CND_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK & RSVMCRT_HEALTH_CHECK and post back the results.
Note for BBP_CND_CUSTOMIZING_CHECK also run 'Simulation of Pricing with Manual Price' (scroll down after executing the report initially).
Also the badi information you activated tells us a lot. Although i take it that you executed and read everything that's included in the transaction information. The following sentence gives a prety doubtfull feeling for the CPPR scenario to work for your configuration:
SAP recommends using this BAdI only in exceptional cases and only after checking thoroughly if it is compatible with the Business Scenarios used.
Note: From what i've just read IPC has to be disabled, certain badi's etc. need to be disabled. And VMC (sap basis) has to be configured. Please view: [http://help.sap.com/SCENARIOS_BUS2008/helpdata/EN/9C/F90B7CB34A4889935D1733C6756D5B/content.htm]
Could you also please check and provide whether 'normal' SRM classic scenarios like: SC -> PO do run within your system. Also the error and information you have provided is very little.
    Kind regards,
    Tim

  • Condition types in SRM for mapping purposes with backend contracts

    Hello,
We need to map condition types for the creation of a Backend contract on the basis of a accepted bid.
We use SRM 5.0 but our products do not have prices in their product master!
We use the catalog funcion to indicate the prices of the materials. for service-items we manually add the prices in the Shopping cart.
How can I find out what conditions types we use in these circumstances in SRM 5.0?
What condition type are we using in the case of materials?
What condition type are we using in the case of service-items?
    Thanks for any reply.
    Aart

    Hi
You can map the condition type 01CT (gross price) in SRM with PB00 for Gross Price in contracts. Standard SRM  generally work with simple pricing with gross price condition types and do not have complex conditions unless you customize it. For material or services, it should matter from condition perspective unless you have done some specific customization.

  • New to Numbers, tried the guides...but still need help

    Hi Folks,
I have a fairly simple project; but I am new to Numbers and haven't found my answer after rooting through the guides and forums. So here goes...
I have a few categories (red, green, blue, black, and yellow). Of these categories, there are different styles to choose from (pants, shorts, t-shirts, sweaters, jackets, and hats). What I'd like to be able to do is have a simple table, with dropdown menus (I believe these are called pop-up menus in Numbers). The first pop-up menu would be for the item color. When the color is chosen, I want the second pop-up menu to list the styles available to that color. When the user then chooses a style from the pop-up menu, I want the cell to the right to display the price. It would look something like this:
Cell A1 (pop-up menu); Cell B1 (pop-up menu); Cell C1 = corresponding value for parameters chosen in A1 and B1.
It's a simple pricing/order sheet that will have the same functionality for every row; that way users can have multiple rows if they need to buy multiple items, but the sheet is minimalistic in appearance.
Any idea how I can do this in Numbers? I hope I explained myself clearly enough...
    Thanks!
    -Michael-

    knowledg333 wrote:
In that case, the pop-up menus can be fixed (it just means the list might be longer than necessary - as some colors are not available for certain styles). Alternatively, the categories can be fixed in individual cells, and the style can be the only popup menu that needs to be chosen. For example:
A1=Red; B1= (popup menu with all styles listed); C1= price for Red with the parameter in B1
A2=Black; B2= (popup menu with all styles listed); C2= price for Black with the parameter in B1
A3=Yellow; B3= (popup menu with all styles listed); C3= price for Yellow with the parameter in B1
    etc...
Does that format eliminate the serious problem??
Yes it does and in this case, you may use a popup specific to the color.
To get the price of a given item, use VLOOKUP which will require a table storing the name and the price of the items.
In the look_up table you may see the name of the items and the prices of existing ones.
In cell B2 of Tableau 1, the popup menu offers the items : item1, item2, item3
In cell B3 of Tableau 1, the popup menu offers the items : item1, item2, item4
    In cell B4 of Tableau 1, the popup menu offers the items : item1, item2, item3, item4
    In cell C2 of Tableau 1, the formula is : =VLOOKUP(B2,look_up :: A:D,2)
    In cell C3 of Tableau 1, the formula is : =VLOOKUP(B3,look_up :: A:D,3)
    In cell C4 of Tableau 1, the formula is : =VLOOKUP(B4,look_up :: A:D,4)
Details about the used functions are available in *-iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide_*

  • Do you find the AdobeDPS pricing to be clear & simple & reasonable?

The information on the Single Edition and what it includes (ONLY IPAD) should be alot clearer on Adobes various websites and also within Creative Cloud and inside the ID-plugins on what actually happens to the pricetag as soon as you want to make a dumbed down iPhone edition in addition to an iPad edition.
I think there should be a possibility to purchase an iPhone/Kindle/whatever edition with a set price to the mix instead of forcing people into the expensive subscription based Professional Edition, which i guess alot of people really don´t need. I have clients that wants to test & see if there is a future in producing an iPad and an iPhone4/5-version. As the price is quite steep for a test and the fact that you also need a subscription in addition to upfront costs the choice is easy, there isnt going to be even a test...
Guess we gotta go for Mag+ or Appstudio or something else unless Adobes pricing model is going to change.
    I find it really disapointing.
What do you think? Am I wrong? Is there a better solution out there? Have I misunderstood something about the renditions for iPad and iPhone into a multifolio?
I know Mag+ has a sollution and AppStudio (formerly PressRun, owned by Quark) has more reasonable pricing model.
Adobe give us some options please, so atleast people can try it out...

Thats ok John... Most advertising agencies in Norway and in the Scandinavian countries doesnt only work with "traditional" advertising. They generally do design, graphic identities, ads, social media, print&web and some also adverts for TV. Theyre not as specialized as in other countries i believe (both in a positive and negative way).
There could also be a different market sitution here. I believe theres a lot bigger market/more companies interrested in producing mags/corporate info/product catalogues than it is for making magazines containing ads with a subscription.
I hope that Adobe could introduce som sort of middle way for us wanting to produce "one off mags" for more devices than the iPad. Also considering that most people here has a smartphone with IOS or Android already, so it makes sense to tap into the growing mobile market. Android is growing fast even though theres currently more money to be made on the IOS-plattform 8:1 (read this nice article http://www.forbes.com/sites/darcytravlos/2012/08/22/five-reasons-why-google-android-versus -apple-ios-market-share-numbers-dont-matter/
Some other interresting numbers from Norway
In Norway 2012 - 61% had a smartphone in the beginning of 2012 (USA 44%). Arround 79% of the people between 18-29yrs old had one in Norway (most of these people doesnt care about paper and embraces the digital counterparts). In 2011 11% had a tablet, in beginning of 2012 this number was 29%. Wheres 2013 going to end up?
    (http://www.medienorge.uib.no/?cat=statistikk&medium=it&aspekt=tilgang%20og%20bruk&queryID= 378&aspekt=nyheter)
Last year Google also reported a growth in mobile search at arround 400%. (http://www.thinkwithgoogle.com/insights/emea/)
If im going to predict whats going on for 2013, it will be the year where graphic designers, newspapers and magazines really will go digital on all plattforms. Print wil decline more. It will also be the year for responsive design and HTML5 (maybe DPS should produce more responsive designs?)
Sorry this wasn´t going to be this kind of discussion here on the Adobe forums (gotta get it out...). Anyway once again I think Adobe produces great tools, but as time goes by there isalot of nice solutions /alternatives to producing content where you don´t nececarily need to be a "designer" with skills in InDesign and DPS. Look at http://www.layergloss.com for instance (I haven´t tried it) but its producing apps online.
If we are going to be using InDesign and DPS in the future and be part of the digital (r)evolution we need a toolset do so, at prices/features that will let us, sooner rather than later. Otherwise it-consulting companies will take even more of these jobs away from us and perhaps lead to lost sales for Adobe (its a symbiosis going on between Adobe and designers).
I find that most people working with InDesign doesn´t really care wether they are producing for print, web or tablet, they just want to communicate something good for their clients regardless of plattform and physical state...
Lets hope they still can use a tool like InDesign which they both know and love, with DPS in the future too.
