Hi All,
if some one helps me out in this regard i am very thankful.

  • What is needed on non-weblogic client to make soap request

    Hi, I am trying to make a soap request from a client that is not weblogic to a

    Hi Jane,
    Looks like you have run smack dab into one of the first "myths" about web services
    - "SOAP client software is not vendor- dependent" :-) This is in fact, exactly
    the opposite! And it's not just WebLogic's SOAP client API that has this "vendor-dependent"
    code. Apache SOAP, Apache AXIS, Systinet WASP, GLUE, etc. exhibit the same behavior.
    The difference is that WebLogic's client.jar, is not really a "standalone, SOAP
    client package". It's a "web service-specific" client package.
    JAX-RPC (and the other APIs in the Java Web Services Developer's Pack) is attempting
    to reduce a fair amount of this "vendor-dependency", but there will always be
    some :-) WLS 6.1 doesn't use JAX-RPC, so...
    Anyway, how many "vendor classes" you need, depends on what you are attempting
    to do in the client. If you are just consuming a web service that uses "SOAP encoding",
    then you'll need less. If you are consuming a web service that uses "literal encoding",
    you'll need more. An easy (albeit time consuming) way to figure out which classes
    you need from the weblogic.jar file, to use WebLogic's Web Service client package
    inside Tomcat, is to use the "-verbose:class" option, on the Java command used
    to start Tomcat. This will produce a lot of output, so I suggest you capture it
    to a log, instead of sending it to stdout :-) But, as I said, this is a very,
    very, very time consuming way to determine all the classes you need from the weblogic.jar
    file. Trust me, I've done this before and it took me about 3 hours to find every
    class that's needed! It's simpler just to include the weblogic.jar file in the
    CLASSPATH you start Tomcat with :-)
    Another option is to just use the Apache SOAP package to create the web service
    client. This works wonderfully, if you don't want to use WSDL (Apache SOAP doesn't
    support WSDL). If you want to use WSDL, go with the Apache AXIS package. It has
    an implementation of JAX-RPC, and is pretty close to the Web Services implementation
    in WLS 7.0 (which I'm assuming you'll eventually upgrade to anyway, right?).

  • Need to get SOAP request and SOAP response message.

    Hi All,
    I need to know that how can I get the SOAP request and SOAP response message. Now I am using WSDL2Java tool from Axis to generate the stub classes (such as ServiceLocator, SoapBindingStub, and soapPort ) and applying the classes to make the SOAP request. I have seen the solution for getting the SOAP request with Dynamic invocation interface (DII) style (http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/ws-soap-user/200310.mbox/%[email protected]%3e), but not Static stub like what I did. Could anyone suggest me how to do it please ( I can't run tcpcom on the linux server, because x-window is not allowed to install ). Thank you for any help in advance.

    You can try writing a client-side handler.
    Handler gets called before the actual request is sent, and you can get the SOAP
    message in it.
    You have to deploy the handler in client-config.wsdd.
    Handler is just like Servlet Filter.
    I think there might be a simpler solution, but I dont know.

  • How to pack attribute values in a soap request?

    Hello,
    We are trying to make an external webservice call through GWWS.
    The (soap) request contains an element which looks like:
    +<Request Version="1.0" RequestID="11111111" TypeOfRequest="type1" Echo="false">+
    +<Info>+
    +<Account xmlns="http://something.com/Domain1/">ABCD1234</Account>+
    +</Info>+
    +</Request>+
    We had created this soap request based on the WSDL provided to us by the webservice host.
    We used a tool (like soapui) to generate the the above request.
    To be able to make a service call to this webserive, we used the wsdlcvt to generate the fml32 field headers as:
    wsdlcvt -i <provided wsdl> -o <baseoutput name>
    However we could not find a way to pack in the the information related to the attributes.
    In vain, we tried to use the option [-m] with wsdlcvt.
    Since there are no field headers generated by the wsdlcvt for the attributes, we do not know how do we put values of "Version", "RequestID", "TypeofRequest", "Echo" attributes of the "Request" element in the webservice request.
    Are we missing something here?
    How can we populate/put information in the attributes of an element in a request?
    Thank you.

    +</wsdl:port>+
    +</wsdl:service>+
    +</wsdl:definitions>+
    When we create a soap request (Using soapiu) from the above wsdl we get:
    +<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">+
    +<soapenv:Header/>+
    +<soapenv:Body>+
    +<ServiceReq Version="?" Name="?">+
    +<DateTime>?</DateTime>+
    +<UUID>?</UUID>+
    +<!--Zero or more repetitions:-->+
    +<Status StatusTyp="?">+
    +<StatusDesc>?</StatusDesc>+
    +</Status>+
    +</ServiceReq>+
    +</soapenv:Body>+
    +</soapenv:Envelope>+
    As you can see that ServiceReq has attributes Version and Name
    However, wsdlcvt (with -m) creates the following fml32 headers
    DateTime        1       string  -       fullname=DateTime, schema=xs:dateTime
    ServiceReq      2       fml32   -       fullname=ServiceReq, schema=tns:Service_Type
    ServiceRes      3       fml32   -       fullname=ServiceRes, schema=tns:Service_Type
    Status  4       fml32   -       fullname=Status, schema=tns:Status
    StatusDesc      5       mbstring        -       fullname=StatusDesc, schema=xs:string
    UUID    6       mbstring        -       fullname=UUID, schema=xs:string
    The points that we did not understand:
    1. You mentioned: "SALT will map the *whole* request to FLD_MBSTRING
    It is not so in this case.
    Did we miss something?
    2. Going by your suggestion in your last reply how do we create the FML32 buffer (specifically for the "ServiceReq" element, with attributes) for the sample we have?
    Thank you.

  • UCCX Soap request with wav attachment

    I am trying to modify my working UCCX 9.0 soap request so that I can send a wav recording from the caller.  I understand that there are several ways that an attachment could be handled by a soap request, inline, mime or mtom.
    Has anyone done an attachment like this?

    I can appreciate your point about the load of encoding and decoding the wav file.  I can guess that to load the wav file into the repository would be similar to how a prompt recording application would load new prompts. However wouldn't the soap server have to log into the CRS administration site to download the wav file.  Also the wav files would left in the repository so I would have to come up with something clean up after the wav file was downloaded. The url method not sounding as simple as just encoding the wav file.

    Hi Juergen Mueller
    I think on receiver side you have Proxy. so the thing is debug your inbound Proxy and you come to know where it is getting failed. You can do it by following way..
    take payload which is there after mapping and test your inbound proxy in debug.
    to debug use
    go to sproxy.. then select your inbound proxy and click execute(F8) and provide the payload in provided window click on execute and debug the proxy..
    problem is somewhere the data type is not matching or length is not matching..
    Thanks,

  • Problem with WebLogic 10.1 and SOAP request

    I have some relatively simple code that is making a SOAP request and trying to parse the response. The code works fine in Tomcat 6, but fails when running under WebLogic 10.1. At first, the problem was with the implementations of MessageFactory and SOAPConnectionFactory. After some research, I added the following to the startWebLogic.sh file
    -Djavax.xml.soap.MessageFactory=com.sun.xml.internal.messaging.saaj.soap.ver1_1.SOAPMessageFactory1_1Impl
    -Djavax.xml.soap.SOAPConnectionFactory=weblogic.wsee.saaj.SOAPConnectionFactoryImpl
    That resolved the initial problems, but now I get the following error when making a call to the getTextContent() method of an instantiation of the org.w3c.dom.Node class.
    java.lang.AssertionError: UNIMPLEMENTED
         at weblogic.xml.domimpl.NodeImpl.getTextContent(NodeImpl.java:198)
    In my research, it seems that the "-Djavax.xml.soap.MessageFactory=com.sun.xml.internal.messaging.saaj.soap.ver1_1.SOAPMessageFactory1_1Impl " option should have resolved that issue, but it does not. I am including the relevant section of code below for reference. If anyone has a suggestion as to how to fix this issue, I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance!
         fis = new FileInputStream(_outputFileName);
         MimeHeaders hd = new MimeHeaders();
         hd.addHeader("Content-Type", "text/xml;charset=UTF-8");
         hd.addHeader("SOAPAction", "/service/doCallAPI");
         MessageFactory factory = MessageFactory.newInstance();
         SOAPMessage request = factory.createMessage(hd, fis);
         SOAPConnectionFactory soapConnectionFactory = SOAPConnectionFactory.newInstance();
         SOAPConnection connection = soapConnectionFactory.createConnection();
         SOAPMessage response = connection.call(request, new URL(_pdfHostUrl));
         NodeList documents = response.getSOAPBody().getElementsByTagName("FileProp");
         Node node = documents.item(0);
         String textContent = node.getTextContent();

  • Safri browser 3.1.2 SOAP Request HTTP 400 Error

    Hi,
    I have a simple html making ajax calls (XMLHttpRequest) to our webservice on a button click. The code works fine with major browsers like FireFox, IE and Opera. But if i load the html in Safari and send the SOAP request to the webservice using XMLHttpRequest, i get an HTTP 400 - Bad Request Error from the server.
    Why is it failing just for the safari browser? Do i need to set any extra HTTP headers? When i see the WireShark captured packets for Firefox and Safari, i see the content length is different. And also Safari is missing a lot of headers.
    Could you please help troubleshoot the issue?
    PS: The webserver is running IIS 6.0 on windows server 2003.

    I'm not sure how to help you. No link found.

  • Error sending soap request

    Hello!
    I created a simple web service (jax-ws) using NetBeans 5.5 and deployed the web service to the Sun Application Server 9. The integrated function of NetBeans for testing web services works fine. I can also access the wsdl through the internet browser. But a soap request using Altova XMLSpy 2007 fails. The error message states: cannot find dispatch method. But I did exactly the same steps on another machine where the soap request works.
    Any ideas?

    Partially solved. For unknown reasons the soap request is not generated correctly on this machine when using XmlSpy. I just copied the soap request generated by the NetBeans web service test function to XmlSpy and sent it to the server. Works fine.

  • UCCX Soap Request

    Hi,
    I am trying to get UCCX to contact a SOAP web service so that I can make routing decisions based on the SOAP response.  But as I have virtually no experience with SOAP/XML I am struggling a bit.
    below is the SOAP command that I am trying to send to the web service to query if an ANI has called recently
    <soap12:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soap12="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
      <soap12:Body>
        <FindInteraction xmlns="http://www.something.com/v4">
          <data>
            <Tenant>Test</Tenant>
            <Options>
              <Contact>000000000</Contact>
              <DataValues />
            </Options>
          </data>
        </FindInteraction>
      </soap12:Body>
    </soap12:Envelope>
    the response should be something like the below, the "Code" value is what I will base my routing on.
    <Response>
      <Header>
        <ClientID></ClientID>
        <Id>038793f2-5b11-4ead-a05b-aa77ff76430f</Id>
        <Status>
          <Code>109021</Code>
          <Description>The contact that you submitted does not exist.</Description>
          <ErrorMessage></ErrorMessage>
          <Result>ContactNotFound</Result>
        </Status>
      </Header>
      <Data>
      </Data>
    </Response>
    I have had a look at  https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-23899 but I am still struggling to understand SOAP.
    is the above simple to do, or do I need to find a "programming friend"
    any help appreciated.
    Darren

    Hi,
    I have written and tested a code fragment.
    Let's do this with the "template" way.
    First, we create a simple XML template:
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:plat="http://www.virtualhold.com/Toolkit/Platform-v4">
       <soapenv:Header/>
       <soapenv:Body>
          <plat:FindInteraction>
             <plat:data>
                <plat:Tenant>__TENANT__</plat:Tenant>
                <plat:Options>
                   <plat:Contact>__CONTACT__</plat:Contact>
                   <plat:DataValues />
                </plat:Options>
             </plat:data>
          </plat:FindInteraction>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    Notice the __TENANT__ and __CODE__ strings. We will replace them with something useful within the script.
    Save this as vht_request.xml and upload it to the Document Management page to your UCCX.
    Next, add the following five new variables to your script:
    code - type String, initial value: "" - this variable will hold the "Code" sent by our SOAP server;
    doc - type Document, initial value: DOC[] - this is just a utility variable, reused many times as we will see;
    soapResponseString - type String, initial value: "" - another utility variable, for storing the response sent by the SOAP server;
    soapServerURL - type String, initial value: well, this is the endpoint URL of your SOAP server. The WSDL file you sent me the other day already contains a reference to it, "http://172.16.202.59/VHTPlatformWS-v4/VHTPlatformWS.asmx" but you might want to double check with the person administering this SOAP server. My mock SOAP server was available at "http://10.232.128.68:8090/mockIVHTPlatformWS", I am using it in my script;
    xpathResultSelectCode - type String, initial value: this is the XPath expression to filter out the value of the Code XML element encapsulated within other elements. You probably want to use this: "//*[local-name()='FindInteractionResult']/*[local-name()='Header']/*[local-name()='Status']/*[local-name()='Code']"
    Next, we are going to use the following steps:
    1. doc = Keyword Transform Document.
    The Keyword Template: DOC[vht_request.xml] - this essentially tells UCCX to take the XML file we uploaded previously, convert it to a Document type variable.
    Keywords: this is where the magic happens. I mapped "__TENANT__" to "Test" and "__CONTACT__" to "5556363". You will probably want to map these to something legal, like the ANI of the caller.
    Document: doc. This just assigns the document we transformed at this step to this variable.
    2. Create XML Document. Source Document: doc. Document: doc. Do not write anything into the Source ID box. This step tells UCCX to look at the transformed document as an XML document.
    3. Set. The Variable would be soapResponseString, and the Value - well, this code block:
    java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream baos = new java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream();
    String content = doc;
    int readTimeout = 5000;
    try {
         java.net.URL url = new java.net.URL(soapServerURL);
         java.net.HttpURLConnection urlCon = (java.net.HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection();
         urlCon.setFixedLengthStreamingMode(content.length());
         urlCon.setReadTimeout(readTimeout);
         urlCon.setDoInput (true);
         urlCon.setDoOutput (true);
         urlCon.setUseCaches (false);
         urlCon.setRequestMethod("POST");
         urlCon.setRequestProperty("Content-Type","text/xml;charset=UTF-8");
         java.io.DataOutputStream output = new java.io.DataOutputStream(urlCon.getOutputStream());
         output.writeBytes(content);
         output.flush();
         output.close();
         java.io.DataInputStream input = new java.io.DataInputStream(urlCon.getInputStream());
         int bufSize = 4096; // buffer size, bytes
         byte[] bytesRead = new byte[bufSize];
         int bytesReadLength = 0;
         while(( bytesReadLength = input.read( bytesRead )) > 0 ) {
             baos.write(bytesRead,0,bytesReadLength);
         input.close();
         baos.close();
    } catch (Exception e) {
        e.printStackTrace();
        return null;
    return baos.toString();
    I took this from my other document, https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/97736/uccx-8x-really-simple-soap-client-no-custom-jar
    Again, if anything bad happens, this code block would return null. Nothing. Nada. Nil. Semmit. If everything goes fine, this code block issues a SOAP HTTP request and the response would appear as a String as the value of the soapResponseString variable.
    4. doc = Create XML Document. Source Document: (Document) soapResponseString. Document: doc. This tells UCCX to cast the value of the soapResponseString into a Document type variable, and, create an XML document out of it.
    5. code = Get XML Document Data. Document: doc. XML path: xpathResultSelectCode. Result Data: code. This is where the other magic happens, the system would filter out the value of the Code element and assign this value to the code variable.
    I will try and upload screenshots after I posted this.

  • Error During Creation of  Table Value Request /Simple Value Request Express

    Hi,
    I am on SAP CRM ABAP 7.0 with enhancement pack 2.0.
    The requirement is to create a decision table which would have value(search helps) requests for some of the condition columns in it. For example, Value Request for condition column Y would come according to condition column X  . As per my understanding,this could only be achieved by maintaining foreign key relationship. So I tried to create a  Table Value Request  which I could assign in the domain values in the data object of the corresponding condition column.
    But,when I am trying to create a Table Value Request or Simple Value Request in BRF+ application, it is throwing an error message "Table FDT_EXPR_1950S is not part of the Customizing object FDT0001 T".
    Could you please help me out !!

    Hi Carsten,
    Thanks for your quick response.
    Just wondering whether or not I can achieve the requirement without Table Value Request. Do you have any idea on this?

  • Using a SOAP request to initiate an ESB flow

    I'm currently attempting to use the Oracle ESB as a pure routing engine for a project at work. Heres the basic way to works:
    1. We get a SOAP request from a third party
    2. We transform that request into a canonical format (via xslt)
    3. Inside that canonical format there will be an ID
    4. We look up that ID in a database and resolve an IP address from it
    5. We then use the canonical message to invoke a named web service on a SOAP server living at that IP
    So my questions are two fold really:
    Firstly, is it possible to fire off an ESB flow via a SOAP web service call? So far it seems (to me) that i can only initiate processes [flows - sorry im used to BPEL!] via an adapters (files, AQ, JMS, etc) and not from a raw SOAP request. It seems the SOAP object is an ESB object and not an incoming/outgoing adapter
    and
    Secondly, is it possible to make a database call/query and then use the result of that to intelligently route my canonical data to a specific SOAP server dynamically?
    I know i can do this in BPEL with little trouble but im trying see if its also plausible via ESB so i can leverage the performance and management benefits that come bundled with it.
    Any help would be great as i seem to be banging my head against a wall slightly!
    Thanks in advance,
    Ian Harrigan

    Thanks for the reply.
    Would it be possible to use an IP address (obtained from a database query) to dynamically call a web service of the same name but on different servers?
    Ie, if the incoming message has an ID attribute within it of, say, 10 then a request is made to server1, however if the ID is 11 then it goes to server2 and so on and so forth.
    I know this would be possible using a static filter but, unfortunately, that would mean that every time a new ID/Server combination is added to the database a new version of the ESB would have to be deployed which isn't feasible.
    Essentially i would need a single ESB and simply update the database with additional data and logic inside the ESB would send SOAP requests to a entirely new IP address
    Thanks again,
    Ian
