Since I have upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1, it has been constantly freezing up. Now it does not work at all and I am unable to remove my profile. How can I remove my profile if Firefox does not work?
I finally got so tired of Firefox freezing my computer that I tried to uninstall and reinstall. Upon reinstall, it will not work at all and I am unable to delete my old user profile. Is there any way to get rid of this profile so I can give one last attempt to get Firefox to work before switching permanently to Google Chrome? I really liked Firefox for years until they screwed it up with the recent changes.
Try running Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If it functions properly in that configuration, then one of your add-ons is the culprit.

I have a linksys WRT54G router that we use as a base. I want to use Airplay using Airport Express and hook up my stereo to it. How can i set up my Airport express without a PC/laptop? I just downloaded Airport utility on my iphone and ipad,will that work? And one more thing about the setup, the linksys router shich acts as a base is in a different room as the airport express which i wanted to use for airplay. So I'm hoping to hook up the Airport express via wireless signal. If i can set it up, can someone pls help me out by posting detailed instructions. Thanks so much!
The first message that AirPort Utility will display during the auto setup will be that the Express will be confgured to "extend" the network. When AirPort Utility analyzes the network further, and sees that the Express cannot "extend" the 3rd party network, the next message will indicate that the Express is being configured to "join" the wireless network.
Once the Express is configured, if you later go into AirPort Utility to check the settings under the Wireless tab, you will see that the Wireless Mode is indeed "Join a wireless network". -
I was trying to remove photos from my photo stream by putting them in the trash can. A picture is stuck behind it. How can I remove it. I have restarted and still no luck.
Temporarily move your dock to the left side of the screen in System Preferences > Dock.
Then grab the picture and move it. Return the dock to the bottom.

I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. Well, you use the different accounts such Phone Numbers, email addresses. And make sure that your iPhones have no receipient address in common, then you can avoid this issue.
I use iMessage on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, iPod touch.
Each of them has a individual address to receive messages, so they won't combine all the messages among all the devices.
Try this, if it doesn't work, tell me, I'll figure another way out. -
I am running Win7. On my screen, there is a field that lists the browsers available. The default seems to be Ask with the others listed, about 5. There is a button to move them according to preference so I move Google up to the top. Then there is also a button to Remove the ones I don't want to use. I have tried both of those and everytime I reboot or open up the Mozilla browser page it defauts back to Ask. How can I stop this from happening. Did read there is a workaround but not sure that is what I should do

I have been charged twice in my bank account of 14.99 and it was charged last 6/20 and 7/7/13. I did not authorize the charges and don't even know who made them. How can I talk to a live person to resolve this problem.
There is no live customer service for iTunes on the telephone. Either click the Report link on the emailed receipt that you have recieved on the purchases or use this link to start an email conversation with the iTunes support staff.

How can I authorize my new laptop when my old laptop was stolen and I am unable to deauthorize it? There are three other computers apparently on my account that I also am no aware of , nor do I have access to. I am unable to add any new computers to my account.
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. Otherwise you can "deauthorize all" from your iTunes account.
Open iTunes on a computer
From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Under "Computer Authorizations" select "Deauthorize All".
Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "deauthorize all" your authorized computers, authorize each one as required. -

My MacBook Pro won't connect to the internet, although it says it is connected. The laptop is about 2 years old and up until now has worked fine. My work PC laptop is connecting to the internet fine so I know it can't be the connection. I've checked for Adware/Malware (just in case) via safemac and that all seems fine.
I'm running OSX 10.8.5.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

LizBelieve it or not, that article helped me find a temporary solution. After reading it I realized that the problem did have to do with my DNS settings. I had taken the DNS settings that my ISP gives me when I dial up and plugged them into the configuration for my AirPort card. This apparently caused a problem because, although my wireless network is always on, it's not always connected to the internet. So those DNS settings were invalid most of the time.
I found that as long as I leave the area for DNS servers blank, the computer logs in normally. This further confirms my suspicion that something was trying to access the internet at login. I guess as long as I don't specify any DNS servers, the computer realizes it doesn't have an internet connection through my AirPort card.
So I just created two network locations: one for when my network is connected to the internet and one for when it isn't. In the first, I kept my original DNS settings because they work as long as I have an internet connection. In the second I did not specify any DNS servers. This seems to work fine, but I'd still like to know what is trying to access the internet at login. I've disabled the automatic update feature in all my programs that have it, but that doesn't seem to help the slowdown at login. Does anyone know how I could figure out what program is trying to access the internet? -

You won't be able to delted the existing account without the password. If you don't know it, you'll have to reset it as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617. If you have trouble doing this, you can try contacting the Apple account security team for your country for assistance: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699. You will have to prove your identity before they will reset the password.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your iPhone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

I have created a jsp that writes to a file and then prompts a dialog box to have an option to view or save the file. However when i view the file, there are blank lines before the actual content of the file. How can i remove these lines?

Those blank lines are normally because of the scriptlet code at the start of your jsp page.
Remove any new lines between page directives or any include directives that you have at the top of your page.
Look at the generated servlet code to see what exactly is causing the newline to be inserted (look for out.println("\n");) -
