Tried updating my iPhone 4s to the iOS 6 wirelessly and via USB cable.Both don't seem to work.Does anyone know what is the problem?
I'm based out of Trivandrum, India and am unable to update my iPhone 4S to iOS 6.I tried it wirelessly and via the USB cable,and both fetch me similar errors.Does anyone have a clue on what's going on?

YES! See the my old instructions below. What you might try after step 5 is to restart you MBP holding down the Option key. Select the new HDD icon and see if it boots. This way you will know that the new HDD is operable.

INSTALLING A NEW HDD IN A MB
1. Make certain that you have backed up all of your important data.
2. You will need a HDD enclosure. One with a USB connection will do. A 9 pin Firewire is better.
3. Install your new drive in the enclosure and connect it to your MBP.
4. Open DISK UTILITY>ERASE. From the left hand column drag the new drive into the 'Name' field. Make sure that the format is 'Mac OS Extended (Journaled)'. Click on the 'Erase' button.
5. Click on the 'Restore' button (on top). Drag the old drive into the 'Source' field and the new drive into the 'Destination' field. Click on the 'Restore' button on the bottom right hand corner.
Depending upon the amount of data you are transferring, this may take a couple hours or more. A Firewire will speed up the transfer. This will result in both drives having identical information on them.
6. After the data transfer has completed, you may swap the drives. Start the MBP and you have finished the installation. The initial boot may take a bit longer than you are accustomed to, but that is normal.
7. When you are satisfied that the new hard drive if functioning properly, you can erase the old drive and use it for any needs that you may have. -

As you haven't told us who your email provider is, no.
There isn't an SMTP server for Greece - it is either provided by your email provider, or the Internet provider you are connected through. -

I agree with Grant. But to answer your question, that would be Word 2008. A quick search turns it up on sale at Amazon. You'll need to find it somewhere other than Microsoft itself, since MS stopped selling it when they released Word 2011.

You only option is to buy a copy of Mac OS X, either the retail disk or system disks.
There are places you can by a copy of Mac OS X, like online vendors, Amazon or eBay.
System disk are gray and come with more than one disk. Retail disk are black with a 'X' on them and often come as one DVD disk.
Not sure what version your going to require as you haven't provided any specification and model details.
I would safely assume being a G4, it would be happy to install Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.
If you could let us know the PowerBook you own, then I am sure we could advise you further.

thanks. for some reason its not in my library either and I looked in my bank account and it doesnt say the name of the software so I cant find it anywhere. I think it was documents to go but it was $14.99 and now its showing on the apps site $16.99 so it has me too nervous to install again. I think Im going to call the 800 number tomorrow that is on my bank account ledger but thank you very much for your help. Im just very surprised its nowhere to be found on itunes when I bought it Dec 27th 2011 is it possible all of 2011 purchases are gone? If you have tried trouble shooting your iPod to no avail after all the steps above, chances are your iPod has a hardware problem. The iPod's built-in Diagnostic Mode is a quick and easy way to determine if you have a "bad" iPod.
You need to restart your iPod before putting it into Diagnostic Mode. Check that your hold switch is off by sliding the switch away from the headphone jack. Toggle it on and off to be safe.
Press and hold the following combination of buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds to reset the iPod.

Try to do the 5in1, HDD R/W and HDD scan tests. Some successful cases have been reported after the running the few tests under the Diagnostic mode. I do not know what printer and cartridges you are looking at, but there are typically "value" or XL cartridges that have approximately three times the ink at about twice the cost.

Hi, I recently updated from Lion. I had 2 folders on my "Favorites" side dock in finder and they seem to be lost, I've tried searching on "all my fles" and "This Mac" and no luck. I've tried looking for the root folder and I couldn't find that either. Does anyone have any suggestions? PLease and THank you!

Does a budget help without a spec? Really would like some idea of what the costs of this kind of development are - e.g. £xxx ish per day - and how long it takes, roughly, to build a database driven application (probably about 25 tables in the DB). If we could get a fully functioning system with all the bells and whistles for £25000 I think we'd be happy.
Long answer:
The application will be used in-house to manage our estate agency (people, properties, viewings, etc), integrating with our web CMS and possibly iCal and Mail. It would need to support multiple simultaneous users and therefore use a database on a local server (performance is key, and one of the reasons we think we don't want a web app).
No idea what this kind of development costs, but I'd estimate 2 months development for the first, very basic version of the software, then ongoing development to add and refine features probably over the next several years.
Perhaps you could give me a better idea of costs for a simple database driven application taking 2 months ish to build?
