Since installing OS X, I have not been able to use PrintMaster program. Is there a solution?

Since installing OS X, I have not been able to use PrintMaster program. Is there any solution to the problem listed below:
PrintMaster 2012 Platinum <4.0.0.230> encountered the following error:

Found the answer.  I wasted a bunch of time trying a whole bunch of different things like changing my security settings to allow apps from Everyone, turning off my firewall, downloading a newer Java, etc. 
I finally contacted Printmaster support and they said that Printmaster 2012 Platinum (and ALL VERSIONS of Printmaster other than their newest one) will simply not work with Yosemite.  Even their newest one (called Printmaster V6 Platinum) won't work unless you download a fix.  Here is the entire response that they sent me.   I've had Printmaster 2012 Platinum for several years so it will cost me $10 and some effort (calling them AND sending an email with a photo of the box and disc...and then paying them) to get a version that will work.

Unfortunately with the release of Mac OSX 10.10 Yosemite PrintMaster is experiencing issues with this new operating system. We have created an update for PrintMaster v6 Platinum our current release of PrintMaster.
We are pleased to let you know that the update for the Yosemite incompatibility is available as a download. Soon we will also have available on a DVD format. We are hoping to release the DVD format by the end of March, 2015.
If the download is acceptable as a replacement, please contact our Customer Service team at 1-800-395-0277 between the hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM CST, to order the download. Mention the case number in the subject of this email.  They will require proof of purchase, so please be ready with that information.  Continue reading for more detail.
