Since the new Lollipop install last week my Battery has been on constant drain... No background apps running and the batter will be dead by 11am with no usage... Is there a fix in place for this?

This new update has been horrendous I have uninstalled multiple application to try and fix the battery issues with no success. I have read on multiple forums that this was known issue prior to pushing out the update to Lollipop when will this be resolved? I have to now keep a portable charger with me at all times which is very inconvenient.

We wanttoi do all that we can to ensure that you are able to enjoy your Galaxy S 5! Thanks for posting the troubleshooting steps that you have already completed. May I ask how long ago, in days, did you complete the update? It typically takes about 3-5 days for the software to settle. If it has been longer than 5 days then I would suggest a factory reset and use the device for a day or two without installing any apps. Once you have done so, please retest and keep us posted.

    After some troubleshooting, I decided to order a new battery.  I replaced the battery and was then able to get it to restore, however--after I restore it and it comes time to restart the phone, it gets stuck and doesn't turn on.

    She does not have apple care and even though she loved this device, she isn't going to buy another iPhone because of all the problems shes had with this one (it's just over a year old).
    After you ruined the iPhone with DIY, Apple won't touch it anymore. You should have asked before all these had happened.
    I'm an android user myself and I love rooting/flashing new ROMS, so if jailbreaking her phone or doing some kind of super-restore with 3rd party programs might help, I'm all for it-

    It seems to be a common complaint. Norton Security does not play nicely with Firefox (or IE).

    Suddenly the visited links are no longer changing font color, as I am preparing for an exam I need visited questions to change color, to keep track of questions that I have finished. But if I delete a few days of history then again,a few more visited links change color then again it stops, so it seems something is getting full and not able to accommodate any more? Why are my visited links no longer changing color after a certain number of visits? I do have a back up of the places.sqlite file. So I have tried everything from deleting the profile, uninstalling reinstalling, creating a new profile, then copy pasting places.sqlite etc, but as mentioned after a few visits, visited links no longer change color, if I delete a few days of history then again a few visits will again change color and then stop again, so what should I increase so that my visited links quota is increased, I have also tried tweaking about:config and it has had no result. Although I was not really confident that increasing brower.history_max _pages (don't remember exact name, but I am sure you get the idea) is going to help.
    Seems as though my visited links change color, quota is full and only if I delete a few days of history will I get a few more visited links to change color. Can somebody shed some light? As mentioned my places.sqlite file size is 30,720 KB so I think perhaps this has something to do with this? Would really appreciate if someone could help. Thank you.

    There is no maximum for the places.sqlite database and other SQLite database files like I wrote above.<br />
    All SQLite database file have fixed minimum sizes and if they run out of space they are automatically increased in size with a specific chunk size. For places.sqlite this is 10 MB for the minimum and for the chunk.

    Clean out/blow out the headphone jack. Insert/remove the heaphone plug a dozen times or so
    Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>GeneralReset>Reset Network Settings
    - iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a bad headphone jack

    I've had my iPhone 4S for over a year now and have had no issues.  All of a sudden, two or three days ago, my battery has been draining rapidly.  I am on IOS 6.01 and have been for about a month.  I have now turned everything off, including iCloud backup.  Appreciate knowing if anyone else is having sudden battery draining.

    A rogue app can sometimes drain resources when it has a background process running. Usually this can be cleared with a simple soft reset. Have you tried that? If so, have you installed any new apps recently? You might want to try uninstalling the last new app or two you added to see if that makes any difference.
