Single Check lot two house banks

Hi All
We have a requirement where we need to use the same check lot for two house banks.
For example, check number 102 is printed from house bank 1.
And i am printign next check from house bank 2, in that case it should generated check number 103
How can i accomplish this task.
Any inputs will be rewarded
Thanks
Rajesh

Hi
Your requirement cannot be met, I suppose.  Cheque lots are created per house bank, account ID and company code.  System only keeps track of the cheque lot numbers (say 001-100).  While creating a cheque lot of another house bank, you can use the same range.  System interprets these as two separate cheque lots.  There is no other identifying criteria for the system to sense from the cheque stationery to distinquish between different banks.  It is for the users to preserve a cheque lot separate for each house bank.  If you use the same cheque lot also, system will keep the track of the cheque number with respect to a particular house bank only.  What I mean to say, if you use the same cheque lot for two house banks, once you print the cheque from one house bank, it reduces that cheque number from the range no matter you are printing it from one house bank or another.

  • EBS - Checks Auto Clearing for two house banks same company code

    Hello,
I have two house banks in one company code. Both have the same account numbers but different bank keys. When I load the EBS file, checks of only one house bank are getting cleared. Is there any way I could accomodate both the house banks. I use alogorithm 011, and the EBS is in BAI2 file format.
Will String search be of any help here.?
    Kiran

Do you get single statement for both house bank accounts?
Check the 'Assign Bank Accounts to Transaction Types' in EBS customizing. In this step, you'll assign 'Transaction type' to Bank Key and Bank Account.  See if you have assigned only for Bank account.  If the Bank key field is left blank, this issue is a possibility.  So try defining two lines with the Bank Key-Bank Account combination and assign the same transaction type for both.
    The above solution should work.
If it does not, you can copy the Transaction type into a new one and then assign the new one to the second Bank Key-Bank Account combination.   Dont forget to 'Assign External Transaction Types to Posting Rules' while copying.
Either of the options should work for you.

  • Single payment method with two house banks

    Hi,
I have scenario of single payment method 'C' (cheque) & two house bank viz. hdfc & icici having ranking order 1 & 2 respectively.
Now i want to make payment from icici bank having ranking order 2, but system is picking hdfc bank because of having ranking order 1. so pls. advice how to do that.
    regards,
    mahesh

    Dear Mahesh
See it this way. Automatic Payment means that the parameters must be preset. Its really no fun when the parameters are being changed and we call this as Automatic Payment. now the problem with us is that
    a) The transactions are numerous
    b) The change in ranking is through a customisation request.
To answer (a) one solution I can sugegst isn to see the possibility of putting the house bank in the vendor master. This is applicable only if you can identify that the particular vendor is always to eb paid from the particular bank.
If this is not the case then the t-code S_ALR_87001487 is the answer. You can request the basis team to allow this t-code to be used in maintenance view.
    Hope that helps

    hi sapgurus,
    i have one question.
i have 5 invoices of one vendor, i want to make payment thru 2 house banks
    for example
3 invoice from hdfc house  bank
2 invoice from icici house bank
what is the configuration required for those scenerios.
    please reply with good answer.
    regards,
    sreekanth

    Sreekanth,
First maintain the bank determination in APP config with house bank details in "Bank Accounts Tab" and available amounts with definite currencies.
Then @ line item level, bank details have to be added in FB60.
Otherwise the system will throw an error.  So, first maintain the APP settings and make changes @ line item level.
    Hope this will help.

  • Wrong House Bank defaulted in tx. F110

    Hi Everyone,
So here is a weird issue I am facing.  I went live last monday with ECC 6.0.  AP has been implemented as standard as it gets.  I am running tx. F110 to pay four invoices, from four different vendors.  Check lot "1" has been properly created in house bank "AAAA" and account ID "1000".  The variant has been assigned to program ZRFFOUS_C in F110.  The payment is using checks (C) as payment method.  Variant was set up for that payment method, check lot "1", house bank "AAAA" and account ID "1000".
Payment method in F110's parameters is "C" as well.  All vendors in the hace payment method "C" in their master data.
When I run the automatic payment, SAP posts al journal entries but does not create the checks in the spool.  In this case, we do not want to print theme inmediately, we just want them in the spool so we can print them later.
In am getting message F0 073 "Program ZRFFOUS_C: No records selected".
When I displayed the proposal I noticed that a house bank and account ID were defaulted in the "Selected Group" section of the payment.  That house bank is completely different from the one I gave to the variant.  So, I think that is the problem.
Now again, as I mentioned previously, none of the vendors has a house bank defaulted in their master data.  The "house bank" field  is hidden in all AP document entry transactions, so they could not be appointed when the invoices were created.
I already went through FBZP customizing, checked the ZRFFOUS_C program and the vendors master data.
The most weird thing is that I evertything works in DEV and QAS, but that is not the case in PRD.
    Has someone seen this before?
Thanks in advance for your help!
    Cheers.
    HP

    Hello Viswa,
The vendor was already assigned to C and  that payment method was already assigned to the bank from which I need to pay from.
Payment method is C as well in the variant.
I think the issue has something to F110 defaulting a bank that has no check lots created.  What is very weird is that the bank in the variant is not the one being defaulted.  And the vendor's master data and line items and have no bank assigned.  Therefore F110 should be taking the one in the variant.
In QAS and DEV, F110 does not default any bank.  I believe that the problem relies there, because the system does create the check spool in those environments.
    Thanks for your reply.

  • Can we map mutiple Account ID's with a single House Bank in OBVCU? (FI-TRM)

    Hi,
I want to map mutiple account ID's with single house bank in OBVCU for the purpose of making Automatic Payment Transaction(F111) for my Treasury postings.
    For eg:-
    Bank Master-FI12
    House Bank  Acc ID      GL
    BOB         BOB01         10251030
    BOB         BOB02          23506010
    BOB         BOB71          23506380
    BOB         BOB72          23506390
These  account IDu2019s are linked to Main Accounts.
Maintained Sub accounts, Issue & receipt in the GL Master with numbering convention as :
Issue Accounts ends with 1 & Receipt Accounts ends with 2
    For eg:-For account ID BOB01
    Issue A/c: 10251031
    Receipt A/c: 10251032
    Bank Determination -FBZP
    Created Payment Methods I & O,Inflow & Outflow.
But, OBVCU, the fields in grey are House Bank,Payment Method & Currency.
In treasury module for clearing the payment request, I want to map the House Banks and Account ID's in following manner.
House Bank   Pay. Method  Curr       Acc ID     Bank Sub A/c
    BOB                   I               INR       BOB01     10251032
    BOB              O               INR       BOB01     10251031
    BOB               I               INR       BOB02     23506012
    BOB              O               INR       BOB02     23506011
    BOB               I               INR   BOB71     23506382
    BOB              O               INR   BOB71     23506381
    BOB                   I               INR   BOB72     23506392
    BOB              O               INR   BOB72     23506391
But system allows me only to link a single Account ID to House Bank(BOB) and If I try to add BOB02, BOB71 and BOB72 with house bank BOB, the system will through an error message as " Target key should be different from Source key".
I could have masked the issue/receipt in treasury  account determination as follows:-
    Eg :- Account Symbol  3 :  GL 1025103+
But,since all the other modules except Treasury has gone live ,it is not possible to change the numbering convention or account IDu2019s.
    Kindly revert with the suggestions.
    Thanks & Regards
    Ramesh Nair

    Hi Ramesh,
It is not the problem of linking different account ids to a single house bank, you had done assigning a payment method for a single currency to different account ids for the same house bank.
    SAP doesnt allow this scenario
    BOB I INR BOB01 10251032
    BOB O INR BOB01 10251031
    BOB I INR BOB02 23506012
    BOB O INR BOB02 23506011
    BOB I INR BOB71 23506382
    BOB O INR BOB71 23506381
    BOB I INR BOB72 23506392
    BOB O INR BOB72 23506391
Here above you tried to assign payment method I with currency INR to different account ID's (BOB02 & BOB71) apart from BOB01 which SAP doesnt allow. You can assign a payment method with a currency to only one account id.
    HOpe u understood.
    Your criteria cant be met.

  • House Bank Configuration/ Assignment

    Hi All ,
I need information on House Bank Configuration/ Assignment with respect to business area. Its very urgent.....
    regards
    PSNG

Bank that your company used for banking purposes.
It is also the first step for configuring your Account Payable Modules.
    FI12 - Configure House Bank
    House Banks
First Step: We first create House Banks. These are the banks for
your clients. Your client uses these for its banking transactions. One House Bank can have multiple bank accounts assigned
    to it.
During the implementation one can try to rationalize both, the Banks and the Accounts.
    A House Bank has
a Unique Bank Key. Bank Keys differ by each country's norms. The US Bank Key is called ABA (American Banking Association)
number. Normally each House Bank can have its own Company Code. In some cases, where the Banks use a different ABA key for
paper Transactions and a different one for Electronic Transactions, you Create Two House Banks instead of one for One
Physical Bank. Also, Two Bank Accounts will be created for a Single GL Account.
    T-Code: FI12
    Menu Path:
Financial Accounting > General Ledger Accounting > Bank-Related Accounting > Bank Accounts > Define House Banks
    Config
    Steps:
A House Bank is tied to a Company Code and each Bank Account is tied to a House Bank. So first we Select the
Company Code for which the House Bank is to be created.
The Create Bank icon is clicked and it brings up a pop up for
House Bank Identifier and House Bank Country. House Bank ID is a number decided by you. You can specify a number based on
    your numbering conventions.
The Next screen requires entry of the Bank Key - the ABA number is the House Bank country
selected was US. On this screen you also enter the House Bank Address data as well Control Data - comprising of SWIFT COde,
    Bank Group and Bank Number.
Once the House Bank data has been entered and filled up, you click on Bank Accounts and
you are taken to the screen to configure the Bank Accounts. On the Next screen click on the "Create Acct" icon.
    A pop
up comes up where you enter the House Bank Identifier in your system as well as the Bank Account identifier in your system
along with a text description. Once this is done, we get to the main screen where we enter the following
    data:
Bank Account: The Bank Account given BY the Bank.
Altern. Acct No.: This field is used when two
accounts at the same bank use the same account number. This situation may arise when the bank manages the accounts in two
different currencies. This field has a different number than the Bank Account field.
    Currency: This is the
currency in which the account is managed.
Control Key: For US Banks, this is used to identify whether the account
is a Checking or Savings account. The key is 01 for Checking and 02 for Savings. The Default value is checking account if
    nothing is specified.
GL Account: Each Bank Account is assigned to a GL Account Number. The Bank Account updates
    the GL Account entered here.
Discount Account: If the company uses the Bill of Exchange facility then we enter the
Cash Discount Account for Credit Memo Postings that this Bank Account should update.
    Bank Account
    Structure
It is important to have the right structure for Bank Accounts, GL Accounts and the Clearing
    Accounts.
It is important to know how much of:
    Confirmed Cash,
    Floating Cash out, and
    Floating Cash
    in
is available for the company on a particular day.
There should be Only One Confirmed Cash GL Account with many
Bank Clearing Accounts. So, the Checks Outgoing Clearing, Wire Outgoing, ACH Out, and Deposits clearing need to be set up
for each Bank Account. It is also important to leave room for additional clearing accounts that may be needed in future.
For this, we may have a range of 10 GL Accounts for each Bank Account. The numbering, for example, can have the GL Account
ending with 0 for each Confirmed Cash Balance (eg: 110000); each deposit clearing account will end up with a 1 (110001); each
outgoing check clearing account will end with a 2. each outgoing ACH account will end with a 3 and each outgoing wire
account may end up with a 4.
Check Lots and Void Reason Codes
The final step in configuring of the AP Bank
Account is to assign it to a check lot.
    Check Lots
If the company has a MICR printer then a blank
check lot can be used for Payables. The check lot determines the check number that is used on payments.
    The first
step is to bring up the "Check Lots" screen.
    T-code: FCHI
    Menu Path: Financial Accounting >
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business transactions > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment media > Check
Management > Define Number Ranges for Checks
On the main screen you need to fill up Company Code, House Bank number,
and the Account ID for which the checks are being created (?)
After saving the information click on "Change Status"
icon. This takes you to "Maintain Check Lots" screen. Most of the information will come filled up. You can enter the From
    and To check Numbers.
To create a new check lot and assign it to the account, you can click on the "Create" icon. In
the pop up enter the Lot number identifier and he range of the check numbers and also the next lot number if
    needed.
    Void Reason Codes
In SAP, it is not possible to void a check without a valid reason code. We
can have any number of Void Reason codes. There should be at least one Void reason Code configured in the
    system.
    T-code: FCHV
Menu Path: Financial Accounting > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business
Transactions > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment media > Check Management > Define Void Reason Codes.
    Three Void
reason Codes come pre-configured - 1, 2, and 3. They deal with the problems encountered with the printers. There are
indicators to be assigned which define whether the Reason Code is due to Manual or Print program. Any codes created by the
    users are only assigned Manual.
    Payment Program Configuration
This step determines how to process
the payment transactions in the system.
The Payment Program is a series of steps within one Program.
    The
configuration occurs in table T042 and other variations of table T042 that end in a letter.
    T-Code:
    FBZP
Menu Path: Financial Accounting > Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable > Business Transactions > Outgoing
Payments > Automatic Outgoing Payments > Payment Method/Bank Selection > Configure Payment Program

  • Wrong house bank suffix in bank BoE file

    Hello,
The customer has two house banks defined with exactly the same account digits, but different
country (one is SPAIN and another is COBRO). This is a workaround that we have applied because
sometimes the bank files need to reflect the kind of collection. The file protol is always the same
(CSB58), but the suffix tells the bank how the money is advanced.
Therefore, when presenting a collection of Bill of Exchange, the user selects one country or another
(the bank is the same) depending on the desired Boe collection behaviour.
The bank file generated by payment addon is retrieving the suffix in an erratic way. It seems that the
file is considering only the account number, but not the bank country.
Therefore the users must edit the resulting file with notepad and change suffix manually.
The suffix appearing on the bank file must match with the house bank selected when presenting the
collection to the bank, also including the house bank country.
    Best regards.

    Thanks for your reply.

is it possible to use In-House Cash with IS-U?
A SAP consultant told me, that it isnt possible ´to use In-House Cash with IS-U (in SAP standard).
The payment run in FI-CA isn´t able to create idocs. But you need idocs to communicate with In-House Cash.
is there a possibilitie for IS-U to communicate with In-House Cash?

    Hello,
You can try using the below IDocs'
    ACC_DOCUMENT01         Accounting: Posting
