I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada and when I try to use Siri it loads and loads and then says, "I'm really sorry about this, but I can't take any requests right now. Please try again in a little while."
I rebooted and it didn't fix the problem. I just got my iPhone 4s (unlocked right from Apple) several weeks ago.Siri has been a bit more erratic than usual in the last week or so. Apple has announced a major announcement for 9/12. Conclusions are left to the reader.

Does this Problem happen often? I have had my Iphone5 for about two weeks and this is the first time I have
had the problem. My 3gs used Siri to dial phone numbers or use the address book to dial and I never had a problem with it.

siri keeps saying she cant take any request right now please try again in a little while she was working fine when i first talked to her please help
You may want to try and reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing, Wall Paper, Sound etc will be reset -

Why is happening? And this as been going for two week nowThis type of response means that Siri can't connect to Apple's servers, so this means Apple's severs are down. if this continues over a long amount of time ask someone at an Apple store.

@Apple, you really do need to add Siri Status to the iCloud status page. Would help a lot. -

RESET NETWORK SETTINGS,
RESET PRIVECY SETTINGS,
RESET SETTINGS.
BUT NOT WORKING, PLEASE HELPWith type of concern I would be thinking seriously about location services. Have there been changes made to your location services? Are you having any issues with connectivity to the internet or specifically cellular data connection?
Siri is a dedicated service that uses cellular data connectivity to work. I would start my checking your safari to see if you are able to login to the internet. If there are no issues there I would be checking location services to see if you have all settings enabled for locatoin services. If all else fails you can restart the device to see if this will resolve the issue.

Help! Whenever I ask Siri (iPhone 5S) to read new messages it always replies with the "I'm really sorry about this but I cant take any requests right now. Please try again in a little while." message. Network doesn't matter, happens on Wifi or LTE or 4G. Siri on my iPad has no problem reading messages aloud. Have reset the device with no effect.
Seems like we have another outage. Down for me as well. Hopefully, it won't last for days.
