Skin / Templates - JDeveloper 11.1.2.0

Hi guys,
I have a question I have a project in JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 this project didn't used oracle's skin and it has my own page template. I needed to change the project to JDeveloper 11.1.2.0 but when I changed to the new version of JDeveloper my project won a oracle's skin and the pages template not work, the pages stays without formating (they lost align, background image).
What I can to do to solve this problem?
Anybody help me?

In my old project the trinidad-config.xml was so:

</trinidad-config>Now I try to change the new trinidad-config.xml in Jdeveloper 11.1.2.0 and not happen nothing, the project continues opening with default ADF Skin.
How the template, they don't undergo changes but some properties doesn't work.(as alignment ....)

Problems with Template JDeveloper 11g

I had created jspx page from templeate:

JSF page template at path /augiTemplate.jspx requires a model binding!!!
Why it is so an what it means? Pleas help!

Hi,
it means that your template has an ADF binding (PageDef) reference. When you create a page in the JSF page dialog and assign the template then the binding reference is created for you. You should see a bulb in the page source editor. Press it an it should create the missing binding for you

Now one more help, currently I am using "fusion" as default skin how to extend it with our custom skin. So that i can use few features of "Fusion" skin and few from my custom skin.
If I disable inputtext it will be in "Grey color" i need it in white color. how to do it?

Changing the column widths in a Skin template

Is it possible to modify the layout of the skins? More
specifically, change the width of the columns in the Multiab
Accordion template in the Adobe Air single source layout?

Indeed the AIR output offers anything remotely close to what
one has with WebHelp. We are hopeful that at some future point
Adobe will create some simplified editing environment that does
allow changes as WebHelp does. But until that point in time
arrives, AIR output is definitely WYSIWYG.
You may wish to voice your desires for more flexibility to
Adobe. You may do this using the Wish Form.

How to implement adf skins in JDeveloper 11g

How to integrate CSS in ADF using JDeveloper 11g without Trinidad.

Is there any particular reason for NOT wanting to use the trinidad-config.xml? Using Jdev11g, it is very easy, requires no extra jars and have no external dependencies. Also, its [better |http://technology.amis.nl/blog/4169/adf-11g-why-use-skinning-why-not-use-simple-external-css-stylesheets] to do it using skins.

Looking for a specific webhelp skin

I noticed a webhelp skin that I would like to use for my robohelp project's output, but I can't seem to find it in the options provided in the following adobe page:

Hi all
For anyone interessted I've put together a CHM file so one may easily see each Skin appearance before having to download it to see what it looks like.
They used to have the images up there for you to see. Not sure why they aren't there any longer.

Error while starting Integrated Weblogic Server - Jdeveloper 11.1.1.4

I installed Jdevloper 11.1.1.4, and getting the below error while starting Integrated Weblogic Server:

I've checked for log files under my "C:\Documents and Settings\pramod.gujjeti\Application Data\JDeveloper\system11.1.1.4.37.59.23" directory but no error/exception is traced.
Then I tried the below:

How to create spark skins using fxg vector graphics&how to switch b/w spark skins at runtime/via XML

Hi,
I want to create a number of Spark Skins using some vector images that I have with me. I can obtain the vector images in FXG format-- but what I am looking for is some way to quickly create multiple skins for various UI elements like buttons, menus, radio button, checkboxes, etc -- not by converting the fxg->mxml but by using fxg files directly (after including them in the skins project in Flash Builder 4.6). Since I want to create many such skins (atleast 8-10) what is the fastest way of accomplishing this?
Also, once I create multiple Spark Skins, how do I switch from one skin to another, in a running app? -- something like a template switcher, where the user viewing the flex app chooses a color, and the spark skin is immediately changed to the skin of that color (I would have already created the skin...). And can I store this skin template value in an XML? So that the end user can simply change this param in XML to change the design of the flex app?

Follow-up:
Out of pure wishful thinking I decided I would just see what happened if I pretended 'exportFXG' was already a part of JSFL. Based on the signature of 'exportPNG', i tried the following lines:

It worked! Fantastic! I'm not sure if exportFXG is considered still in "beta" and therefore intentionally excluded from the docs, or if it was just an oversight. But at least it gives us something to experiment with.

Adf skin, table's row hover

Hi,
I'm having confussion with adf-skinning.
Can i put hover effect so everytime user hovering a row of a table it will change the row's background color?
What class should I use in my css?
I've tried with af|table::data-row:highlighted, af|table::data-row:hover..
If there is anyone knows the link where I can dowload an adf-skin template then it also be very helpful to me..

You might be able to use PORTAL.WWPOB_PAGE$ (for pages, tabs, and portal templates) and PORTAL.WWTMP_ALL_TEMPLATES (for structured, unstructured, html content layout, and html page skin templates) to get your counts of pages and templates in each page group.

[ER] CSS editor, when used in skin context, shouldn't be so warning happy

I think the CSS editor should be able to detect that it's used as a skin (by scanning trinidad-skins.xml) and adjust its validation rules accordingly. Currently, most basic skins make JDeveloper whinne a lot, mostly because of an expected identifier error from the :: syntax.

The good news is that the build I am bug hunting tonight contains a new feature, which is syntax help and code completion for the CSS editor that includes the skin selectors of ADF Faces RC and Trinidad (as they are the same (at least almost))
However, I am not sure this feature will make it into TP4, so be prepared that you have to live with that until we go production ;-)

Trying to skin

Hello,
I'm trying to make a custom skin in JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0.4157 but am having trouble with it.
So far, I've managed to get it to display the Simple skin.
From there, I created a .css file and told adf-faces-skins.xml and adf-faces-config.xml to use my new skin class which i've called "myskin". I point it to the the .css file as well.
None of the changes I make in the css file seem to have any effect of what my page looks like, whether I use the conventional css method or the overrides.
When I write any code for example:
.MyLinkHoverColor:alias { color:yellow; }
it highlights alias and says unkwon psuedo class.
Can anyone help me out? I've been reading through tutorials but I can't figure it out.

Hi,
the best hint to give is to use firebug to find the correct selector. If you set the following in the web.xml file
<context-param>
<param-name>
oracle.adfinternal.view.faces.DISABLE_CONTENT_COMPRESSION

<param-value>true</param-value>
</context-param>
Ru firebug and select the component you want to skin. The skin selectors are in a format of
.af_selectorName_detailComp
You translate this as
af|selectorName::detailComp
Note that CSS rules like "> DIV" also work in skins

Examples of conditional statements in 10.1.4 HTML Content Layout Templates?

I've read all the documentation on metalink/OTN and gone through the OBE but what I really need to see are some REAL WORLD EXAMPLES of an html content layout for an item region that may have a mix of several different item types and display options. What is the best way to handle the conditional statements for item types and display options in an HTML Content Layout Template?

Since I have multiple item types allowed in a page group and I want any of them to be used for an Items region, I am trying conditional statements based primarily on #ITEM.TYPE# and #ITEM.DISPLAYOPTION#. I have an html content layout I've been working on (lots of trial and error!) for use in an Items regions but I'm still looking for some examples that other people may have implemented in their portal.

How easy/difficult is to integrate the content serach (UCM and Database + Discussion server) any pointers to resources/books is helppul.
How does the customization/personlization works in protal application and is it relatively straight forward to manage it, I mean exporting for runtime environment into Jdeveloper and then importing back into run times/ any pointers to resources/books please.
How best is skin handled in web center? Is it possible to departments have there own skin ann able to change it at run time and how much effrot is invloved in it?
I'll appreciiate if you guys can point to effort involved for a individual who has understanding of these concepts but it will his forst project!!
