Skype has blocked my business account for 24 hours

I
use skype for my primary contact method for my job as IT Support.
I am a paying customer in good standing and have been using it without problem over the past 2 years.
This morning I was taking a phone call from my employer when Skype terminated the call, then the account was blocked and it logged me out.
I could not take any further calls for my employer, losing an entire days income.  At $15 dollars an hour, Skype has caused damages to my paycheck for this week,
I contacted customer service who even though I verified my account, refused to reinstate my premium services.
When I check my account logs. I have only made 2 phone calls in the past 3 days and they were all from me.
I see an SMS txt message supposedly made from my account to a phone number in Russia on Sunday evening while I was asleep and my computer was logged out.
This had to have happened on the Skype servers themselves.
I Work behind a VPN. My machine is free of viruses, and I only use my skype account on one computer.  The password is randomly generated and extremly difficult.
So it appears Skype is now compromised by Russian hackers as well.  It has been a full 12 hours and I have yet to receive any response or explanation from Skype, IF they do not have my services restored by tomorrow, I will be holding the service responsible for damages to my company down time.

I've had several accounts for years and they've never been compromised.  I don't know why you are referencing an article years old as your sole basis for the root of your hijacking.  Anything is possible just like your password being compromised on any computer or network you trusted and accessed that contained your Skype account info in the past few years.   VPNs can also create a compromising situation since you are essentially traversing another private network that you don't necessarily manage.  
Skype has their own security policies and if your account is violating those policies or harming their network they have a right to terminate that account temporarily or permanently at their discretion to stop damages from occurring on their network, even if you may not be directly responsible.  If your work is solely dependent on the Skype service you should have a backup plan.  I personally have 2 cell phones on standby from two different networks that I can use at any time for either Internet access or as a standard phone.  I also have several Skype accounts should one of them be inaccessible.  Should "disaster" strike I have an action plan so I'm not dead in the water.  
An outage of services for a prolonged amount of time is one thing but an outage due to a detected security violation is another.  You're as much a victim as Skype is so I don't understand the focused animosity for a service that has otherwise worked well for you in the past 2 years..  If someone steals my car, joy rides it and engages in illegal activity, I don't plan on getting that car back anytime soon so I make arrangements for a rental if I need to get to work the following day.  Trying to bill the police department due to their lack of pre-crime doesn't accomplish anything.

    Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
    Move this Folder to the Desktop...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
    Move this file to the Desktop...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
    Reboot.
    If that doesn't help & you can afford to redo any Mail Rules...
    Trash these files...
    /Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/... MessageRules.plist and MessageRules.plist.backup
    Then if need be with the backup, Import emlx to mbox, See if this helps...

    You need to start by understanding the distinction between iTunes and iCloud - Apple confuse the issue by referring to 'iTunes Match' as part of iCloud. It isn't.
    You don't have to have the same login (Apple ID) for iTunes and iCloud; many people don't and there's no problem about it.
    Your iCloud ID gets you email, calendars, contacts, iWork documents and PhotoStream syncing between devices.
    Your iTunes ID gets you the iTunes Store, the App Store for iOS, the Mac App Store for OSX,, 'iTunes in the Cloud' (downloading of purchased items to any logged-in device) and 'iTunes Match' (uploading of songs not purchased in the iTunes Store).
    Your family members can easily each get their own iCloud account to keep email etc. separate - in each case they will need a different non-Apple email address (a free one from Yahoo etc. would do) to set up the ID. If they are sharing a Mac they need to be using a separate user account.
    They can have their own iCloud accounts and still all sign into the same iTunes account: or they can open their own iTunes accounts using their new iCloud Apple IDs.
    BUT they cannot transfer items purchased under the present iTunes ID to different iTunes IDs.

    If you want to share iTunes purchases between multiple accounts in the same family you could use Family Sharing.

  • Help with Blocking/Unblocking GL account for posting

    We have a current program to block/unblock GL accounnts for posting and it does direct table update. But this way the user does not know the HISTORY about who did the update. I came to know that by using BDC, history gets created about who made the changes. I am still new to ABAP and with transaction code FS02 I cannot acheive this (blocking/unblocking GL account for posting).
    Is there any other transaction code that would let me do this?
    Is there an easy way of finding out the correct transaction code?
    I found FSSO which is pretty close but my lead said it is not the correct one! Does anyone happen to know the correct transaction code that would let me do blocking/unblocking for G/L account posting?

    Hi Mithun,
    FS00 txn is used for blocking GL a/c for posting.
    You can block/unblock GL a/c based on GL A/c and Company code.
    Execute FS00 txn, Click GL account -> Block (in the menubar).
    Block/Unblock based in chart of accounts or in company code.

    I too had a HORRIBLE time with ITunes 7.0. The sound quality was absolutely terrible!! How did you recover your "Purchased Music" folder? I seem to have lost mine when I reverted back to Version 6.0.5. I also lost about 50 songs that I can't seem to find.
    As a side note, when I called the Apple technical support line and spent over 45 minutes on hold before I finally got assistance, the guy I spoke to said his department had NO IDEA about the problems with Version 7.0 - I was his first call. Someone should be fired for not testing Version 7.0 thoroughly.
    To anyone with problems, I suggest you call or email Apple so they are aware that this problem with Version 7.0 is widespread. Hopefully, they will actually listen to us customers, research this, and at least post some troubleshooting tips on the Apple website to help us out.

    I registered a Skype manager account & tried to add an online number to it. However the system informed me that: "Online Numbers are only available to members with business accounts." and wanted me to create a new "Business Account".
    I thought I had just created one & did not want to create another account so there was a link to: http://www.skype.com/go/business.online-number clicked on that & it allowed me to purchase a number for this account. But now in business manager it is showing "Online Numbers" as 0 even though the account that now has an online number is integrated with Skype Manager. Thanks for your input!
