Skype manager - Enter VAT number

Hi,
I am unable to enter the VAT detail of my company in skype manager. As mentioned in the FAQ, I would like to use skype for business purposes and be excempt from the VAT. The process to change the VAT number is detailed in this PDF (page 57), however I am unable to find that in my Skype manager.

Hi,
Please check whether the COuntry is EU Country or not. In the settings in Country Global setting for the country you are trying to enter the VAT reg No .Path is as follows
SPRO- SAP Netweaver - Generla Seetings - Define Countries in mySAP system.

Is it possible to get one Skype-in phone number and assign it to multiple members in Skype Manager?
If so, how do I go about it?

You could always allocate a number to multiple business accounts in Skype Manager. Then re-direct the number via IP-PBX to go to different extensions.

Number identification in skype manager

Hello, there is a skype service called caller identification, which allow to recognise all calls from skype as calls from mobile number. Can this service be activated from skype manager?

I see you are asking about recieving Caller Identification "into" your Skype system. The answer depends on the local carrier that the call is coming from. If, that carrier provides Caller ID for each and every call, then the call will show the number coming in. If not, then the call will always show "annonymous". It also depends on the device you are using. If the device supports Caller ID for Incoming Calls, it will work. You would have to test to see if your local carrier is providing Caller ID in your area. Not every carrier supports Incoming Caller ID. That would also apply to the Cellular carrier.
In the Outgoing situation, if your Caller ID is setup in your SIP Profile, and then authenticated by Skype, you can use Caller ID to display for "Outgoing" calls.

i buy online number in skype and i want move this number to skype manager and use in sip service that i connect my pbx to this sip trunk for receive call and outgoing call.

To be more precise: I do have two Skype online numbers purchased in my private account - can I move these to the Skype Manager account?
I need a smooth transition in order not to loose the numbers and thus be forced to communicate new numbers everywhere.
Any help/hint appreciated.

Skype Manager Online Number/Business Account Confu...

Could someone kindly explain to me what is happening.
I registered a Skype manager account & tried to add an online number to it. However the system informed me that: "Online Numbers are only available to members with business accounts." and wanted me to create a new "Business Account".
I thought I had just created one & did not want to create another account so there was a link to: http://www.skype.com/go/business.online-number clicked on that & it allowed me to purchase a number for this account. But now in business manager it is showing "Online Numbers" as 0 even though the account that now has an online number is integrated with Skype Manager. Thanks for your input!

Exactly. I have invested a small fortune trying to set up a Skype Business Account with a set of telephone numbers. Now the whole business has disappeared. telphone numbers and all.

UK VAT Number

When I enter my UK VAT registration number into the company details section in my account, I get the following error message:
- The VAT number you have entered is not recognised as a valid EU VAT number.

I recommend contacting the Skype Manager customer service unit; you can click on the link within your Skype Manager dashboard, or contact Skype Customer Service via the usual route, choosing Skype Manager as you work your way through the various steps.

Shared voicemail via Skype Manager?

Hello,
I am looking to set up Skype for my business of just 2 people: myself and a colleague.
We wish to have a single account with a Number and voicemail that we can both access.
The obvious solution appears to be to just set up a single personal account with these features, but it doesn't seem appropriate to be entering DOB, Gender, etc for a business account.
Is there any way of using skype manager to achieve what I want? The main purpose of the number is just to direct to voicemail, but it would be nice if it would attempt to call both business accounts in series before doing this.

I just purchased the Skype Premium and I did not receive a phone number. Was I supposed to?
I have an assistant in the Philippines to make phone calls for me to the US. Should I use the Skype Manager for business instead of the Skype Premium?

Get an Online Number. Save up to 50% on your Online Number with a subscription.
1. Purchase confirmation. Once you've bought a subscription you'll receive a confirmation email and a notification in the Home area of your Skype
2. Dial a number. Click the Call phones button to open the Skype dial pad and enter the number you want to call or choose a number from your contact list.
3. Enjoy your call. Your calling minutes will decrease as you use them (except unlimited plans 2). If you use all your minutes, or you want to call a destination not covered by your subscription, you'll need to buy either another subscription or use Skype Credit to make pay-per-minute calls.

Due the business requirement we change the VAT number of customers for the European countries.
And now how can we ensure that the Billing document header gets updated with the new VAT Reg.Number for the existing Billing documents.
The intention is to ensure that when we Print an already existing invoice,the new changed VAT number should appear in the invoice output.

   Have these documents been released to accounting? If yes then you have top canecl all the documents to update the billing documents and repost them with the new vat number. I think you might know how VAT gets determined in SAP. If not please go to SPRO-IMG-SD-BF-TAXES-MAINTAIN SALES TAX IDENTIFICATION UMBER DETERMINATION.
1. If the payer has a VAT ID number and RG <> AG, then the tax number
      and tax classification are copied from the payer (in this case, the
      ship-to party is not relevant).
      The tax number is taken according to the 'tax country of
      destination'.
2. If 1. does not apply:
      If the ship-to party has a VAT registration number and the sold-to
      party does not, tax number and tax classification are copied from
      the ship-to party.
3. If 2. does not apply:
      Tax number and tax classification are copied from the sold-to party.
If you enter A, tax number and tax classification are generally copied
from the sold-to party.
The tax number is copied according to the 'country of destination
relevant for taxes'.
If you enter B, tax number and tax classification are generally copied
from the payer.
The tax number is copied according to the 'country of destination
relevant for taxes'.

What is the standard field in CRM to store the VAT number from ECC

Dear gurus,
I am trying to find if we have "VAT number" as standard field in CRM. I tried finding in CRM but could not find.
The requirement is to bring the "VAT number" data from ECC to CRM.
So if there is any corresponding CRM field to store that then it would be easy. Please let me know if you know of this field in CRM. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hello Randhir,
In CRM, there is no seperated field to store VAT numbers like in ECC. In CRM, we have a table control TAX NUMBERS on business partners -> identification tab which stores tax numbers.
Below is the way how the tax number flow and work in ECC and CRM for a sample country IT.
In ECC -
On customer master , you will see fields such as VAT reg. number, TAx number1, tax number 2 and so on. Thus when you create a customer for country IT, you enter the required tax numbers.
In CRM -
you enter tax numbers on the identification tab. here we dont find different fields, but there are different tax types introduced for each country. Thus for VAT numbers, the tax type is IT0. This tax type is always of the format - <country ISO code>'0'. Thus for DE we have DE0. The concept of tax type is not there in ECC.
The tax number transfers from ECC to CRM automatically assign a tax type depending on the country and field. And this functionality is available in all CRM systems.
In CRM. tax numbers are stored in table DFKKBPTAXNUM.

My co.code country is RO - Romania. Where do I mention that co.code country is EC country ?

Skype blocks Account after sign into Skype Manager

After years of using skype without a problem and being happy with it, following happened:
1) my account "kpaessler" was blocked a few hours after I signed into Skype manager. Both the skype account and the Manager was blocked. The answer to my inquiry was that Skype suspects incorrect use of the account.
So far no refund on credits (about 60EUR) and dial in number.
2) To get things going, I used another Skype account of mine "nuessering" to sign into Manager again. Could purchase a 3 months dial in number. Some hours later the Manager was blocked. The Skype account seems to work for skype to skype but Skype blocked the possibility to purchase a Skype in number or to by credit.
The purchase of the dial in number of the second account was refunded.
Both accounts are connected with same e-mail adress of mine.
What is going on? Has Manager a big problem?
My "kpaessler" acount has all my adresses and the dial and most important the call forwarding. This is very important to me.
How to get my this account back to be unblocked?
