Slice lines showing in ie browser

Hello,
This site renders fine in firefox, safari on mac -  http://www.co2tropicaltrees.com/ - but in internet explorer on pc, there has been issues. I had it rendering okay in ie, then yesterday I added 'link machine' (an outside program) . I don't know if this 'link machine' has caused a problem, but today I'm told (I don't have pc, only mac)that there are white lines (from the slices) all over the home page when viewing in ie on pc?
Any comments, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

First thing I would do is remove linkmachine.  If you ask around I think you'll hear the consensus opinion that such link farms are not helpful or actually harmful to your SE ranking.  They are a pretty transparent attempt to game the system that the major search engines can easil ferret out and hold against you.
Next, i doubt adding linkmachine caused the problem.
Next, there is a javsacript error on yoru page - the first line of the function blurLinks() contains some extraneouse text (<meta http....>) you need to remove
function blurLinks() {<meta http-equiv="author" content="Dexter B. Dombro, B.A., LL.B.">
    if (!document.getElementById) return;
    theLinks = document.getElementsByTagName("A");
Now whether that will fix the white gaps I am quite sure it will not, but it does need to be fixed anyway.

Finally, no way my feeble old brain can parse this complex array of AP elements you've created of that sliced image.  I do recall you were advised against this technique, but you thought it was your best option at this stage of your learning curve.  I think you will find that you would be better to start off doing things right.  By that I mean that one of the reasons we try to avoid AP elements like this is that they are comlex and unyielding and are bound to break under various circumstances.  More modern coding techniques are at their very core clean and simple,  and so amenable to human parsing and understanding.
I hope someone can help you with the white gaps showing up in IE7, as it is likely a simple problem since you said it just suddenly appeared, but even if so, I would still suggest you do the entire page over from scratch at your first opportunity.  It is hard to do, and it will take a lot of learning and head-scratching, but it will pay off in the long run.
