Finder, Icon Slider bottom doesn't resize

hi, i have a small bug with my icon slider of Finder. it doesn't resize with the small slider at right bottom of a Finder window.
as you can see: the icons in the Finder window are very small (set by the slider right), but the slider left is set to the biggest icon size.
but
if i go to a higher Finder level, change there the size of the icons (possible), return to the old Finder window (picture above), then:
the functionaltiy is actually, that the sliderposition left and right is synchronous.
that well running disappearing after couple of clicks or minutes.

I have the same issue. If I switch from a non-icon view to the icon view, the slider doesn't work. However, if I select icon view for a folder, then close the folder and re-open again, the slider works. I think the invisible database file for the folder display isn't getting updated correctly / at the right time.
Permission repair doesn't help, so I suspect a minor Finder bug. Hopefully 10.7.2 will fix.

Image Slide in header

I have an adult webcam website in which i have spent years designing. www.lucky7cams.com. now in the fine tuning stages i am having an issue getting the logo image in the header to slide in from the right of the screen. i have tried many behaviors and non seem to work. i would appreciate any help i can get on this matter.

Sorry, I missed out the most important bit when I went for our coffee break.
You would create a duplicate master slide for the design you are working on, place the new object on the master and send to back. you delete the unwanted masters for simplicity
You can then apply the new master whenever you need that object in the background.
I regularly create presentations where I have a slide master for each slide so that each slide has its own master, I can chage the design instantly for one slide.

Image slider in header?

To make transparent PNGs, use Photoshop or Fireworks and a transparent workspace -- denoted by the checkerboard pattern. Save for web as PNG-24 with transparency. See screenshot from Photoshop.

Incase Slider, top bit slides off not the bottom bit for me!!

Hi I just got a iPhone 3G S⃣ and a n Incase Slider. However when I try to pull off the bottom bit of the case for docking, its the top it that moves and slides off.
Obviously I dont want this as I suspect it may scratch the back of the iPhone when doing this. to get the bottom off I really have to dig in my nails and force it off.
What am I doing wrong? please help, its a great case apart from that

Cheers, I got it off like that, although the top bit of the case stil slips down and bit and it takes more force to come off than I imagined it would.
Is yours as tough to get off?
I have an iPod dock upstairs, and have removed the older plastic dock connector for my daughters nano and put no dock connector in, and I can now charge my iPhone without removing even the bottom bit of the case.
Suppose it may get easier the more it comes off and on?
Has the back of your iPhone been scratched by the incase slider at all? either the slide bottom bit or the top bit? Its just I have a front InvisibleShield cover on, but got warned not to put the rear cover on as the incase slider wouldnt fit? to be honest would rather have the full cover InvisibleShield on but got advised in forums wouldnt fit, only the front cover

Hi - I've been searching for but can't find a DW extension or 3rd party software that allows the photos in a slide show to be kept in a folder that my client can easily ftp? I don't want him to have to edit page code when he wants to change photos in the slide show viewer . I'm using DW8 on a PC.

in my last homepage for elder people and people with disabilities I had the same problem. They (non-technical, too) only would like to upload their images from a directory and eventually adjust the album to their conditions. I found the solution in the offer of the provider (1&1). They had at the normal account two free photo albums (that's why I gave you the recommendation to ask the provider). Here you see their bundles (look for the green arrows at the bottom):

How do I keep my status bar at the top and not moving from side to side and bottom of phone

how do I keep my status bar at the top of my phone? I let my grandsn play a game on my phone and after he gave it back I noticed my status bar would move from the top to the side or bottom etc

Reset, hold both home and power buttons until the iPhone begins to restart itself, ignore the slide to power off slider. Let the iPhone restart itself. Usually takes about 10 seconds of holding both buttons.
Probably do not need this, but Portrait Lock can be set by, pressing home button twice quickly, slide bottom row of icons to the right one time, tap the Portrait Lock icon.

Can't get image slider to work

Every image slider tutorial I do, I can't seem to get to work! I'm obviously doing something wrong!! Could someone please point out what it is please? I've been going onto CodePen > typing in responsive image slider > copying the html > creating a separate CSS and JS and linking to them. But when I run the page, nothing happens. What vital ingredient am I missing?

I agree with you pal - there's no point in trying to be clever if no-one can find the code.
If you want the slider you're talking about then copy the code below and paste into a dreamweaver document and browse - have fun and then go tell code pen they are a pile of shite.

Accordion Component Header selection

Hi. It's me again.
Using the Acorrdion Component, I have put together an
accordion with 5 headers. The default seems to have the first
header open and the remaining headers underneath. Is there a way to
select which header defaults as open? The accordion is rather long
and the closed headers are at the bottom. I'd like to start with
the bottom header open.

Try this after creating the accordion mc:
acc_mc.selectedIndex=acc_mc.numChildren+1;
replacing acc_mc with the instance name of your accordion.

Problems getting video in talking head option

Hi : I'm working with trail version of Macromedia Breeze
Presenter and in trying to attach a video (swf) in slide (Talking
head video) - I keep on getting message "Presenter failed to create
the folder ....., please check your file and folder permissions and
try again". The permissions are just fine. Any ideas on this ? I'm
trying to prepare a prototype presentation to see if we can use
this product.

Is there a way to have all icons in Bridge CC scale in size?

There are tons of features that make it appealing to myself as a designer, and I really want to get into using it.
There are, however a few things that break up the fluid and humanized experience.
There are many icons, including folder icons, drives, links, etc. that do not scale (at least by default). Is there a way to enable this feature? Or are we doomed to have ultra low-res squashed and padded icons between our images?
As lame as it sounds, this is actually a deal breaker for me. I can't get around how tacky it looks with only some elements scaling.

Thumbs are what they are, small samples of its content. The preview panel is for a better look. You can scale thumbs with the slider bottom right but icons are only scalable to a certain size, possibly due to its design.
The preview only shows a max of 9 files and you can resize this window, but small files don't scale over 100 % view.
Personally I have an organized set up with mostly images and almost no folders. You can use the folder panel to organize and select, there are plenty of ways to set workspaces as you like them with rescaling and reorder.

I have iPhoto 08 and have been happy with it. Don't want to upgrade. But suddenly, when I click on an event, instead of all the photos, I just get one- enlarged- and cannot move to the next one. The photo just jumps up or down. How to solve?

I have posted "submit" twice and keep getting requests to submit again. Now being asked to write a summary! Here we go. I have iPhoto 08 and am happy with it. Don't want to upgrade. But suddenly when I click on an event, instead of getting all the photos, I just get a large version of one photo and cannot move on to the others. The right arrow will not move it and the photo just jumps around.

How do I see all pics in event on screen?

I have gone into preferences in Iphoto to change the view of my photos but it is still not working. When I click on an event I used to be able to view all pics in the album, now I can only see one pic at a time. I used the help option and followed the directions to click preference and make sure my event viewing selection was for showing event photos but nothing changed. Help!

Note the Zoom slider bottom left on the iPhoto Window (in iPhoto 11) or bottom right (other versions)

which iOS are you using? in iOS6 there is a little camera / video on-screen switch that you slide (bottom right). In iOS7 slide (with one finger) the Video - Photo - Square words that appear above the click button on screen
