Slideshow in Muse disappears in my layout, appears to have been pushed to the bottom of the layout
On more than one occasion in my layouts in Muse, I'll notice my slideshows have moved from where I normally placed them. The only way I could find them is if I zoomed out of the entire layout to 10%, and then I see the slideshow has somehow fallen way below the layout! Like as much as 3000-6000 pixels well below the footer! I discovered this by zooming out to the 10% mark and could see the slideshows way out of view. It's frustrating trying to work on a page updating some photos when you can't even locate the slide show thumbs. Anyone have this happen to them?
This can happen if you have an element on the page that stretches longer than the page. It is almost always a box, form container or text box that has no content inside it.
The easiest way to find if there is something pushing the slideshow down is in design view do a select all and you will likely see an element directly above it that is causing it to be pushed down.
Another thing to check is that the slideshow is not marked as a footer item.

I switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox and my bookmarks don't appear to have been transferred. The FAQ's say it should be in a folder marked Internet Explorer in the "Bookmarks Menu", but it's not there.
Did you see a "Bookmark" tab in your Menu Bar? All of your IE Favorites should be there if you pull it down.

My iPhone 5c appears to have been hacked - what should I do?
My iphone 5c appears to have been hacked and has been doing some weird things recently. I have iOS 7 installed.
It deleted all my notes.
It deletes text message streams from various random contacts. I have resorted to taking screenshots of my messages to prove this as it is still happening.
It deleted a few of my contacts so that only their numbers showed on the top of text message conversations.
The weridest thing though is that for the remaining contacts it seemed to add an additional random mobile number to each one so that each contact had two numbers.
Furthermore, for one of my contacts, when I opened the contact there was some French profile wording and a picture of an African man I have no idea who he his (the contact is an asian lady from anerica). I took a screenshot of the contact page and emailed it to her to see if this was something she'd setup by accident but she simply replied that she had no idea why I had that contact stored under her name on my phone.
I live in the UK and do not know any French people!
I'm really worried as it feels like my phone has been hacked/tampered with remotely as this is extremely weird.
How do I find out if my phone has been hacked/tampered with and is there anything Apple or the police can do?
Will restoring the phone clear the issues? I'm reluctant to do this though as I have no faith that important info added to my phone since these happenings (such as my text message screenshots) will not be simply lost forever.
If I can show the issues at the Apple store will they replace the handset? Does it seem like a hardware/software issue or is it obvious that the phone is being tampered with?
Please help!First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.

Siri appears to have been activated on my iPhone 4 (not iphone 4S)!!
Hi there, I was hoping someone may be able to shed some light on this...
This morning my 4 year old son decided he was going to have a crack at breaking my 4 digit passcode lock so that he could play angry birds whilst I was having a shower! As a result, I found my iphone 4 (iOS 5) in a state that had become impossible to get into - he had clearly been pressing as many buttons as possible over and over. IIRC the passcode was not set to wipe the phone (thankfully!), but simply to keep asking for passcodes (probably delaying longer and longer each time).
The phone appeared to be in a 'negative screen' state, which I put down to the fact that I have the accessibility function (three clicks of the home button) enabled and he had selected the 'reverse display' option. More interestingly, the display was very unresponsive and I couldnt enter in my passcode. I eventually worked out what was going on...
Every time I touch the screen, the item that is touched is 'highlighted' by a fine box being put around the item - in exactly the same way that buttons on a desktop machine get selected when you tab through them. I am unable to actually select an item until the 'highlight' is around the item. Once it is highlighted, I can select the item, but only by 'double tapping' on the selected item. This applies to EVERYTHING - app selection, keyboard strokes, even clicking on the menu bar items such as location services. Weird eh, and a real PITA!? I cannot scroll down any screens as there are no buttons to do so and the swipe actions have been disabled (except the unlock screen one). I have (eventually) entered my passcode and turned off the reverse display.
I was finding that there was a significant delay between highlighting and selecting as just described. I then realised why when I plugged my headphones in (Phone had been on mute up until that point). Every time something on the screen was highlighted/selected, a polite gentleman was reading out what had been selected. As I dont think there is such an accessibilty option on iOS5 for an iphone 4, I can only hypothesise that somehow part of the SIRI functionality has been activated in someway??!! It certainly sounds like the same voice from the Apple Siri ads.
Whilst very interesting, this make the phone unusable. Ive tried hard resets with no luck (it starts up in the same 'mode') and whilst I could probably restore the phone I was hoping someone could explain a) whats going on and b) whether there is some way to sort it out on the phone.

I have a iPhone 4S this is not siri it is actally something to help those who have some sort of disability by reading the screen you can disable this by going to general then go to the bottom to accessability

I transferred my iPhoto FACES to my mini iPad and: (a) they are not in the alphabetical order I had them in, (b) some of the FACES have been deleted, (c) the EVENTS I checked off in iTunes do not all appear in the iPad?
Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there.
Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A Finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache. Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

My file names have disappeared in grid view. Thery have been replaced with a dark bar along the bottom of the previews. If I toggle using the command u it hide the bar but I still can't see the file name. In list view all the file names are OK.
The dark bar is caused by the option "Show metadata below image".
Check the settings for the metadata overlays in Grid view (basic and expanded) by clicking the little "badge" icon below the Browser and selecting "Edit". Is the filename still enabled in the list? And in a high enough position to have precedence for other metadata tags, if the space does not suffice to show all selected tags?

In iPhoto most of my photos appear to have been replaced by much smaller versions. What has happened and how can I get the full size photos back?
That is either a bug in Firefox 5 or the script has a problem with Firefox 5.<br />
It works in all other Firefox versions like Firefox 3 and 4 and 6 (Aurora) and 7 (Nightly). -
I have Lightroom 4 installed. I cannot download my CR2 files from the Canon 5D Mark III camera. I have downloaded Lightroom 5 thinking it was an update but it appears I have to pay for the program. Any ideas how I can get lightroom 4 to accept my CR2 files ?

Help help please... I'm running Photoshop CS, on a Windows XP machine. After re-booting the machine after an unexpected power failure I have been told that the "Configuration appears to have changed since the time this product was activated. To continue using this product I must re-activate it". BUT the activation link informs me that they no longer support the product (neither online nor telephonically). So how can I re-activate this software?

As you said above, yes, I did find OC4J config issue & EM Config issue and resolved them. But still I couldn't get my DBConsole started.
Yes, I was able to drop DBConsole<sid> service using 'emca' repository drop. But, when I started recreating repository for DBConsole service, I wasn't able to do it. I tried several times but in vain.

This started with windows 7 update June 16 2011
installed windows update, appears to have been June 16 2011 at 3:00.13 am now can't get on line I did a restore to previous of install and all worked oK But This morn I restarted my computer and update reinstalled and I don't have a restore point that will help (my bad)These are the updates that were installed

Unfortunately once all the 3 iCloud accounts have been created on your device, you cannot create any more regardless of what you do. You will need to re-use one of the accounts that you have already created or create your new account on another iOS device or Mac computer. -
