Slim case that holds a stylus?

I have an ipad 2 on order and plan to use it for entertainment and for work. For work, I plan to use it to hold files but also to take notes in meetings vs. carrying my old levenger around.
I love the slim cases like the smart cover etc but would love one that has a slot for a stylus. Does a case like this exist?
I'd hate to buy the "lighter thinner" ipad only to have to put it in a heavy thick case that holds a stylus.

Protective case and stand with *stylus holder*

These days a stylus holder is a luxury item for a iPad Air cover ... cannot believe it ...
Does anybody have suggestion for protective cases that also work as stand and have a stylus holder? I am considering a Kensington Comercio but I just had a kensington and the quality of the material was poor enough to have a detached piece in less than 6 months ... so I'd like to test a new make if possible.

Slim iPhone Case that Closes Like a Book?

I apologize if this has been addressed, but it is extremely difficult to search on "cases." I will be purchasing an iPhone for my wife when our Verizon plan runs out soon. She will want to carry it in her purse, so we worry about the glass, of course. Are there any nice, slim leather cases that open like a book, with the front cover folding around to the back so that she can hold it easily while using it as a phone? Thanks!

I think a case should be able to bend a bit , so in case of fall it will absorb some of the impact .

I'm planning on getting a 30GB iPod but, this stupid company won't say what is in the box. I know it comes with a case. I was wondering if anyone had a picture of the case or could at least give me a brief description. If anyone could, I would greatly appreciate it.
All I know is, that this company really could care less about it's customers. I can't even contact them about this.

the 5th gen iPod comes with a small faux leather envelope-like case, light grey in color, that has a soft cotton-like interior. it has an opening in the top and is just large enough to hold the ipod. reminds me of one of those tiny wallets that will only hold a credit card. you slide the ipod in the top. while the ipod is in its case you cannot access the click-wheel, screen etc. basically you can't see the ipod.
if you're looking for a case that will protect the ipod while allowing you to use the interface, you will need to buy anouther one.

My Friend just got a Nano and the case that came with is is just like a little sleeve that the iPod slides into....it also has no access to any controls (hold button, Dock connector, Click whell, etc.) and cannont see the screen.. you have to take the ipod out to use it....is it that same thing for the iPod video?

The case that came with my 5th generation black iPod video sounds similar to the one you're describing. It is totally enclosed and the only items that I have access to are the headphone jack (top) and the hold button (also on the top). If I put the iPod into the case upside down I can have access to the usb connector. This isn't meant to be a case for use (other than turning it on and going) but I've been able to push through the case to skip songs, rewind, etc.
So, in short, it's nothing fancy but it has done a good job of protecting my iPod against scratches.

You might look for generic cases. They're not as sturdy or durable as custom made ones - they tend to use elastic to hold in the iPad and keyboards - but that elastic does give them some flexibility.
Or see if Belkin has anything.
Or you may simply be out of luck with the compatibility. My Keyboard is in a case custom built for my 2 and I know whatever tablet I replace my iPad with I'll be getting a new keyboard as well because it most likely won't fit in a new case.

Cases that allow you to lose the front cover???

Im looking for a case for my ipad air. I would like a case with a cover, but I don't like how the cover can be so flimsy when it's folded back. There are two cases I've seen so far that are similar to what I'm looking for.

I was wondering if anyone has advice as to which cases--readily available at the Apple Store, Best Buy, etc.--do a good job of preventing scratches on the back of the iPod Touch 2G. I know that silicon cases will scratch it up, so I'm staying away from those. Are there any hard cases that will work from your experiences? I've ordered a skin from BestSkinsEver, which is like the InvisibleShield, but am looking for something that will work in the meantime, until that arrives. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I've run into the exact same concern - already suffered some scratching on the back of my 32GB Touch 2G (insert very frowned face here).
BestBuy, Staples, WalMart, and the Apple Store were very picked over - post Christmas rush I'm assuming, so my choices were very slim. I haven't picked one up yet, but a friend of mine was just over with his iPhone and had a nice hard case that covered only the back of his phone. It was a solid fit and didn't add too much bulk.
I ordered a ZAGG full body skin but still waiting for delivery.

Some things that might help:
1. Only the most recently used apps actually occupy memory (used to be the most recent 4, but may have changed in the latest iPhones). After 4 (or so), IOS writes them out of active memory, as it does for even the latest 4 if there's no activity for a long time. So the business of closing all the open apps, apart from the most recent ones doesn't make a difference. Tis article has a good explanation:

2. There are settings about background app activity that might help:
- Settings, General, Background App Refresh controls which apps can update their data in the background
- Settings, Notifications controls which apps can tell you things, which they have to wake up to do.
- Settings, Privacy, Location Services controls which apps monitor your location - another activity that uses resources

I love the Smart Cover. It fits the way I work and I love the instant on/off and the always available screen protection. I wouldn't use my iPad without it.
I got a Cover Buddy for the back, because I wanted the back to be less slippery when I'm using the iPad in the classroom, teaching. I picked this back cover because it's VERY lightweight, easy to get on or off and, protects the corners, has accurate cutouts for the ports, and (in the colors) has a rubberized surface:
