Slip/slide tools don't show the 2 screens in the pgm monitor... :(
i only see the TC changes in the pgm window whenever i'm trying to slip edit on a clip, but there's no video showing...
if i want to use the slip on a clip - i have to wonder around it to get to the right desired new TC... it's like working blind
so why does that happen? and what can i do in order to bring it back to normal and show them to me?
i've tried reseting the software and the the computer but nothing works...
anyone have any ideas?

thanks for your Reply Dennis, but unfortunately i can't find neither the File>New>Transparent nor the Video Effects>Video>Timecode commands.
it looks to me like there is something more in the roots of the software, cause i used to work with it normally till my old HDD crashed, and now i installed it again but can't see the double monitor inside my pgm screen (in any mode, including the single/dual/trim)...
i looked for it in the preferences/settings but coudln't find anything. and i anyway thought that it's the basic so there shouldn't be a toggle on/off for that option... right?

Using Premiere Pro 2.0 (yes I know it’s old, but good) Updates that are available have been loaded. Operating system is Win8.1 Source footage off Sony DSR-PD100 DVCAM (BBC News Camera) dv tape onto Disc for .avi
Using either slip or slide tool Raid 0 (stripe)
All other effects and wipes ok. When mouse hovers over the clips with (say) slip tool the source monitor is ok but when hovering over the transition in the Timeline it “flickers” and although the images open as they should in the Programme monitor, when I release the mouse, the monitor goes black. When scrubbing the monitor records ok ! Tried other clips , different bins etc, just the same. Maybe just one of those things that bug us every now and then. No other transitions fail. It is an annoying problem, not easy to describe and not too important as other editing tools do the job. Cannot give you a Jing screen capture as of course, I cannot click it to capture the system working, just the black screen.

I would like to make a movie of me speaking while doing a power point presentation. I have seen this done with the powerpoint embedded on the screen and the speaker doing the talking on the rest of the screen. Is it possible to do this in iMovie?

sure.
the ppt has to be some kind of 'video' iM supports.
so export it from with MS Office as a Quicktime movie, preffered with 'Animation' codec, or as appleintermediatecodec .. for quality reasons.
you need the Talking Head as a 2nd video.
then use iM's Pic-In-Pic feature to combine both videos as wanted.
I would suggest to do some editing (you full-screen, the ppt full-screen, perhaps 'close ups' of some charts, cut-aways to snoozing audience, etc) to 'pep' the video. for this purpose, it could be much esier to export each slide from within PPT as a jpeg and create the 'flow' in iM only... except, you need the ppt-animations ... but, who uses animations in a presentation anyhow ... ? -
When curser is on hyper link the URL will display on the bottom of the screen in the background.(where done is located when site is loaded) How do you control this function?

The Status Bar will be gone in Firefox 4.0 and is replaced by the (View > Toolbars) Add-on bar that extensions can use. -

My Classic IPod had been working perfectly with Windows Vista OS and on a dock. I left it unattended for 10 days, recharged it and tried to play music on the dock. All that shows on the screen is the Apple Logo and I am unable to restart or update the IPod. Any ideas???

I have a ipod classic 160GB , the problem with it is that it is dead no respond at all, i even tried to do a hard reboot, i tried to connect to itunes but it did not work, if somebody has a solution please let me know! the screen on the ipod shows nothing........

Last night i was downloading the new update for the Iphone4 on my laptop through Itunes. After the download was done, it was starting to install, and then an error came up and didnt get a chance to check it. Now my Iphone is stuck on the screen with the USB pointing to the Itunes Icon and wont do anything else. Any advice on how to get this fixed, or do i need to go to the Apple store and have them look at it.

Thank youThe following support article is somewhat outdated. Where it refers to booting from an installation disc, you should boot from your recovery partition (if running 10.7 or later) by holding down the key combination command-R at the chime.

Connect to your computer, fire up iTunes and do a Restore: From iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore. -

I have an iPhone 5 and just recently when I opened the camera there is a big black border around the screen causing the picture itself frame to be smaller I don't know what I did to cause this or what I can do to make it go away can anyone help/
First off, try a reset of the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see if the problem persists.

I have a ipad air and i don´t have the icon of the airplay. I don´t have an apple tv but i want use an app to play the screen of the ipan on pc. I already try but definitely i only have the airdrop icon.
The AirPlay feature is only available whe you have an Apple Tv. You can mirror the display form your iPad if the iPad and Apple Tv are both connected to the same WPA (or the same Wi-Fi). Air Drop is a way of sharing files, such as pictures, PDFs, and text documents. Hope this helps.

My ipad is seized up with a symbol of a usb cable going to an itunes logo. It cannot sync with my pc and there is no availability on the screen of the ipad4?

5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
