Slow startup when booting

Question

hello everyone,
this is my first topic in this forum and i dono if it right category for this subject or not.
anyway, my problem is my macbook 13-inch alu and in first month it work fine
but latter the startup come slowly and it take long around more than 40 seconds
so why it take to long as this time is there any thing i can do to make startup back like first time
when i buy my macbook ..?
