Smartforms in Landscape mode not working on page two

Hi Everybody,
I am facing a rather special issue with Smartforms about Landscape printing and I'm out of solution. I've looked at other threads but I cannot find the correct solution to my issue.
I defined only 1 page in my form. It is set with DINA4 and Landscape orientation. The printing works fine for the first page but when my report has a second page it is printed in Portrait mode. The print preview displays all pages in Landscape but when they are physically printed, the second page is Portrait.
I manually calculate the number of lines to print in a loop and change page with a Command Node. Before starting printing each page I execute a Command Node to force the Landscape orientation (SLAND).
I use the LOCL printer to print my report.
Is there any other set up to do? In SPAD, in the ABAP program or physically on the printer or else?
Thank you for your answers.
Best regards,
Sylvain

Hi Aidan,
Thank you for your answer and sorry for the late reply but it took a while to find the exact problem and implement it in productive system.
The problem was related the LOCL printer definition in SPAD but it was linked to "Host Spool Access Method" parameter.
It was set to "Print on Front End Computer (F)" but this value is not supported by SAP anymore. We had to set it to "Front End Printing with Control Tech. (G)".
The reports are now printed in Landscape orientation correctly.
Thank you again for your support.
Best regards,
Sylvain

    Open a Word Processing document, sounds like you have opened a blank Layout template which has absolutely nothing to type into, you need to add Textboxes or Shapes.

  • Why does f12(preview in browser mode) not render the page correctly?

    Why does f12(preview in browser mode) not render the page correctly? Instead when i go to the main or original file, it renders properly? It is drriving me nuts! HAHA! Can anyone help? mainly CSS problem, div overlapping but when viewing from original file on browser not through F12, it renders correctly. CS5.5 DW. Thanks!

    just that one of it is a f12 (preview in browser) while the other one is going to the directory and clicking the html page by itself.
    F12 is simply a hot key that launches your browser.
    The only thing I can think of to explain this is that you have a local site folder someplace in addition to a testing server site.
    When you hit preview, your testing server on the localhost/ is being called up in the browser.
    When you open the HTML page directly, you're seeing the local site file with unparsed data.
    Try disabling your Testing Server in Sites > Manage sites > Edit...

  • Blue screen on start up. Safe mode not working?

    Blue screen on start up. Safe mode not working, any suggestions?

    Thank you, I had forgotten about target mode. I was able to back up all of my files. I also copied some additional 50 GB of files of the disk as a stress test and the hard drive worked fine and quick (and because it was quicker than retrieving the same files from a network drive to my desktop).
    I was hoping to also unpack the Applejack files on my desktop and put them back so I could run them in single user mode without running /etc/rc. However I haven't been able to get my Linux desktop to mount the iBook in Read-Write instead of Read-Only yet (I don't have access to another Mac at the moment).

    Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

  • Landscape mode not attainable

    From FILE -> Page Setup -> I select "Landscape," but the view remains in Portrait mode and I am not able to work in Landscape mode. I found one solution here that says I have to set the width and height for Landscape... any ideas as to WHY landscape isn't working?

    Hi Yvan - I am using the latest Appleworks for OS X, 6.2.9. Also, the post you referenced is the one I had already read telling the reader to manually set the width and height for landscape mode. I'm wondering why I can't simply choose "Landscape" and have the view in Appleworks change to Landscape? Landscpe is a standard feature in all page setups for all applications! Seems to me it should work without having to manually set it to a pre-determined width and height. Any suggestions?

  • Printing in TUMBLE mode not working

    hello,
    I have the problem that the TUMBLE mode does not work in my program.
    I have tested the printer with MS Word to be sure it works with my hardware and
    it succeeded.
    I use a DocPrint Object and specified the PrintRequestAttributeSet attributes OrientationRequested.LANDSCAPE and Sides.TUMBLE (=Sides.TWO_SIDED_SHORT_EDGE).
    If I change this to Sides.ONE_SIDED, the printer correctly prints each pair of sides on 2 papers (one-sided).
    If I change this to Sides.DUPLEX, the printer prints in DUPLEX mode correctly (TWO_SIDED_LONG_EDGE)
    If I change this to Sides.TUMBLE, it still prints in DUPLEX !
    If I use OrientationRequested.PORTRAIT, the printer prints always binding to the short side , like I need it (no matter if I switch to DUPLEX or TUMBLE).
    What could be the reason that the program ignores the TUMBLE attribute ?
    Here is my code:
    public static void doPrint(Print printData)  throws Exception {
                    PrintService printer = null;
              printer = printerLookup(printerName);
              DocPrintJob job = printer.createPrintJob();
              DocFlavor flavor = DocFlavor.SERVICE_FORMATTED.PRINTABLE;
                    Doc doc = new SimpleDoc(printData, flavor, null);
                    PrintRequestAttributeSet aset = new HashPrintRequestAttributeSet();
              aset.add(OrientationRequested.LANDSCAPE);
              aset.add(Sides.TWO_SIDED_SHORT_EDGE);
                 job.print(doc, aset); //print
    }

    Yes, it's not a permission issue. And it only happens on this one machine too. No error messages in any of the log files. This is a real tough one. I'm tempted to think that it might be a graphics driver issue. The machine with the problem is a 2008 Mac Pro with a GeForce 8800 GT. So if anyone with a similar configuration could test it I'd at least have another hint for what's going on.
    As an interesting sidenote, other capture applications like Voila work fine, which makes the graphics driver theory unlikely, but well, I'm running out of possible causes.
    Thanks,
    Jazz

  • MicroC-OS-II running on Microblaze with UARTLITE in interrupt mode not working

    Hello,
    I am trying to write and application that uses the MicroBlaze which runs the MicroC-OS-II. I am also trying to use the UARTLITE in interrupt mode.
    Currently I can use the UARTLITE in interrrupt mode if I run a standalone package that is without MicroC-OS-II.m
    I read the documentation attached see page 22 (Handling Interrupts). On how the OS handles interrupts but I am little confused on how to setup the UARTLITE in interrrupt mode to work with the OS.
    I know that OS_CPU_ISR() handles the interrupt but how do I make it so that it handles the uartlite interrupt.
    I am really confused how I should modify the UARTLITE interrupt code below to work with MICROC/OS. As really confused I MEAN I JUST DON"T understand.

    Hello,
    I have a KC705 board, with Microblaze on it. My software is Witten above the operating system of µC/OS-II.I am trying to write multi task ie. task1 and task2.  Application that uses the MicroBlaze which runs the MicroC-OS-II.
    I am using  the UARTLITE able to run hello world program successfully is with MicroC-OS-II.I read the documentations,  On how the OS handles multi task, but I am little confused on how to implement..(i am new to RTOS). Please suggest  me or share the any documents, any example codes.

  • Q5 Reader Mode not working as hoped

    Hello.
    I got my spankin' new Q5 yesterday, and whilst I'm still figuring a lot of it out, I have to say that the reader mode in some web pages is not working as I would have hoped.
    It is enlarging the text well, and it looks great, but it is not showing me all of the page. I realize that some webpages are made up of frames and various parts, but I would have expected it to show me the main text.
    I read the wetcanvas forum a lot, and it is only showing me the first post of a thread, it isn't showing me other peoples' replies.
    Also, whilst learning the Q5, I visited docs.blackberry.com and, again, it is only showing me a couple of paragraphs.
    Is there anything I can do?
    Thanks.

    EUREKA!!!
    Thanks for sticking it out till the bitter end.
    Not only does it now work but after all that practise I don't think I'll ever forget how to deploy a farm solution, set the scope, retract, pull hair out, create features etc!
    For anyone arriving at this thread.. the code below will check to see if the current user is a site admin and cancel the delete event if they are not, otherwise it will allow the delete event to happen
    public override void ItemDeleting(SPItemEventProperties properties)
    base.ItemDeleting(properties);
    using (SPSite site = new SPSite(properties.WebUrl))
    using (SPWeb web = site.OpenWeb())
    int _currentUser = properties.CurrentUserId;
    SPUser spCurrentUser = web.SiteUsers.GetByID(_currentUser);
    if(spCurrentUser.IsSiteAdmin == true)
    properties.Cancel = false;
    properties.Status = SPEventReceiverStatus.Continue;
    else
    properties.Cancel = true;
    properties.ErrorMessage = "Announcements cannot be deleted";
