Smartforms line item

Hi,
Consider me newbie..Am trying to explore the smartforms.. i was able to capture all the header information but i am stuck on how to print/ loop the multiple line item from table ekpo. How to achieve this ...appreciate step by step guideline...thank you

If you want 5 columns, you need to declare 5 cells in one line type of the table
Click on Table -> Details, then do the following
Line Type 1 2 3 4 5
L1 2mm 3mm etc
Here specify the width of the columns as many as you want..
then in the header/main area of the table, click create Table Line, Rowtype is L1, automatically 5 cells will come,In each cell create a text element, display the variable to be printed there

In the Table,
Loop IT_EKPO into WA_EKPO.

Hi,
if you are using template and the line type is for 1 to 2 lines in the template... make sure that column position you mention is equal to the number of cells in the line type... if the data is displayed in the second row the row position should start from 2 and and column position should lie between 1 and 9.
Just a suggestion ... its better to go with table node instead of going with template...

Smartform line item -group total

Hai All,
         I need logic for the following requirement in smartform,
I should print the subtotal of each group of line items that i have calculated in my report.\
         for example Group-A has 1,2,3 line items.now i should print t total at the end of this particular group item in SMF.
         similarly       Group-B has 1,2,3,4 line items.now i should print t total at the end of this particular group item in SMF .

Hi,
If you have the Driver program, then do the logic in your driver program and finally print those details in the smartform.
sort itab by group.
Loop at itab assigning <fs_tab>.
v_total = v_total + <fs_tab>-field.
at end of Group.
<fs_tab>-newfield = v_total.
clear v_total.
endat.
endloop.
Now use this new field in your smartform to print the totals.

Smartform Line Item

Hai All,
I need a help on SMF development,i have to print each line item of the SMF table in a each individual page, ie., 10 pages of SMF for displaying 10 rows of line item from the table. how do i achieve it?

Hi Raghav,
Use can use Event on Sort End option of Table .
In there you need to give on which field you what the event to be triggered and what to do when that event triggers.
Field you can give it as serial number or storage type or etc..
Under the event check(tick) 'Go to New Page' and give the page name.

How to draw horizontal line in smartform after end of the all line items

Hi Friends,
I am working on the smartform. I have created TABLE node in Main window.
i want to draw a horizontal line after end of the main window table node. i mean after printing all the line items of the table, I need to print one horizontal line.
Could you please help me how to resolve this issue.
FYI: I tried with the below two options. But no use.
1. desinged footer area in the table node of the main window.
2. tried with uline and system symbols.
please correct me if i am wrong. please explain in detail how to draw horizontal line after end of the main window table.
this is very urgent.

Could you please tell me how to insert blank line text.
1 - in your table, create a line type with only one column, with the same width of the table
2 - in table painter, create a line under the line type
3 - insert a blank line text in the footer section with the line type you have created.

Reg: Printing multiple lines of line item in a smartform?

Hi Experts,
I have a query regarding printing multliple line items in a smartform. In this form i dont have control on the font size because the client is using some generic type format to print the data in EPSON LQ 590.
Here this generic type drivers, it has his own default font.
If i print using the normal EPSON LQ 590 drivers, alignment is perfectly fine. But in generic case its totally different.
My query is in my item row there are 7 columns. If one of the column exceeds the space which i have assigned for that particular cell, it should go to next line automatically. How should i do this?
Then there should be a line space between 2 rows of data. How should i do this?
Please help me on this.
Another query is date is getting displayed as 19.07.2009, due to the space problem in that particular cell i need to display as 19.07.09. Please tell me how should i do this also?

Use smartstyles for the same to mke sure it goes into next line. Also you can set space between 2 lrows to one line.
For the date issue..use the following piece of code...
DATA: w_date TYPE sy-datum,
w_char TYPE char8.
CONCATENATE w_date+6(2) w_date+4(2) w_date+2(2) INTO w_char SEPERATE BY '.'.

Smartforms: no page break between last line item and footer in table?

Hello All,
my smartform has FIRST and NEXT pages. I would like to avoid a page break between last item line of a table in MAIN window and the footer of the same table.
Here is how it looks currently.
Output of FIRST page, MAIN window, table ITEMS:
1.line item
2.line item
3.line item
4.line item
page break
output of NEXT page, MAIN window, table ITEMS:
1.footer line
2.footer line
I would like that if a footer does not fit on FIRST page, it would be displayed on NEXT page with last item line.
It should be like this:
output of FIRST page, MAIN window, table ITEMS
1.line item
2.line item
3.line item
page break
output of NEXT page, MAIN window, table ITEMS
4.line item
1.footer line
2.footer line
Any ideas?

Do you mean line item text or your want to print footer text?
If your trying yo display some footer text, then you either place a footer window or you can create a table inside your main window and place text under the footer of the table, then it will display the text without any page break.
If it is item tem.
Then you need to build additional logic. As we cannot guess, the total number of item text upfront.
Example: if page1 can hold 15 line items, check whether your header and item can fit in page one else call a new page by placing a condition FLAG = "X".
I hope it will help you to solve your problem.

create another loop node of table tax information under the main loop with condition that is having same field in common... then create text elements to display the following data
VAT:2%
Service Tax: 3%

Control Line Items of table in Smartforms

Hi,
Please help me out for following problem which I am facing in smartforms.
Scenario u2013 I am trying to print Bank Payment voucher, In this I am passing two internal tables from my driver program, One internal table is for header details and other internal table for Line item details.
I am Looping for header details and under the templates, I am populating header data into itu2019s appropriate places, for line item details, I am using Table and able to populate line item details, Now say my line item should print only 5 line items in one page and if there are more than 5 line items , it should print next line items on next page.   when new page will start it should print header details and footer details also,
In last last row, I have put the program code where I am counting the number of line items, and below that i have put 'Command' and in command condition, I have stated that if linecnt > 5 , go to next page%2 and in page 2, I have again copied the header details but , it is not working,
In short the Flow of Smartforms is given below.

Display line items in Cells of a table- Smartform

Hello All,
Can any one help me achieving the below requirement.
I have a requirement of printing invoice with a smartform. I am displaying line items from a TABLE node by looping VBRP's internal table. There are 12 cells and the 5 th cell contains a number of Dicount rates.
I am displaying these discount rates from LOOP node by looping KONV's internal table within that CELL. The 7 th Cell has got 2 values which are required to be: one aligned to the TOP right corner of the cell and the other to the bottom right side of the cell.
Now the issue description is:
CELL-5: Contains unknown number of values for display within the cell to be positioned as MIDDLE justified for an item(POSNR) of the main item table.
CELL-7: Contains two fixed values :KWERT to be at Top right of the CELL-7and NETWR at the bottom right of CELL-7
I have managed to display the sub items in CELL-5 in the middle by giving values to SPACE BEFORE/SPACE AFTER sections of PARAGRAPH FORMAT in SMART STYLE.
Requirement: Irrespective of number of sub items in CELL-5 the 2 values in CELL- 7 to be aligned as one at the top right and the other to the bottom right cell flexibly . Same applies to other items(POSNR) of MAIN VBRP item table.
The ROWS of the MAIN Table to be flexible enough to shrink the space when then are less number of subitems in   CELL-5.
Values in Cell-7 should be adjusted according to contents in CELL-5.

    APPEND WA_CELL7 TO ITAB_CELL7.
    FLAG = 'X'.

APPEND WA_CELL7 TO ITAB_CELL7.
ENDIF.
ENDDO.
Adjust the code if need as per your data.
In cell 7 under loop node print ITAB_CELL7 values in a text. and prepare a paragragh for alingment.
if it does not work for send me the XML file for your smartform.

Smartform multiple line items in template

Hi friends.
I am passing a internal table to smartfrom.Now there are 2 line items that need to be printed.The data that is passed to the smartform is having correct 2 line items.
Now i have created 3 line types for my template.
In the first one i am passing the Header data.Its wrking fine...
In the third i am totalling the amount.Its wrking fine..
In the second i am looping and this line will contain the mulitple data from the internal table.
Now i am looping at my internal table into a work area.but only one line item is getting printed.The second one is overwriting the first line item.
So how to print all the line items in template.
i have created loop in template.Under that loop i have passed 3 texts and in them i hve passed the work areas.,,But overwriting is been done..

Template is a STATIC structure u cannot loop internal tables.

Continuation of line item data to next page in SmartForm

Hi,
Currently i had a requirement in SmartForm. Iam displaying the line items from bseg table in main window and totals of credit and debit in the total window which comes under the main window.
If the line items are more and it continues to next page i want to display the total window and created by window only after all the line items.
Please try to send ASAP.

You can print total by reading page numbers.
Ex: IF <current page> EQ < next page number>
Print total.

Printing problem for line items in a smartform

Hi
I am developing a smartform for inbound delivery, i have to print each line item in each page and each line item should be printed according to count of pallets.
lets say if my first line item has 5 pallets, it should print 5 time on smartform. and second line item should print on second page , and this logic should continue for all line items.
can some one help me out ?

So,suppose two PR are there,PR1 and PR2 with n no of line items,then i should get each PR on different page with its line items.
Note: One loop processing is already there on line items.

Hi,
Fetch all the PRs and its corresponding items into 2 different table. Then Loop at the internal whihc contains the PRs and call the 2nd internal table for its items and call the FM for smartforms and pass them.
LOOP AT it_PR.
fetch all the items into it_PR_item
Call Function Fnam
Passign the it_PR_item
ENDLOOP.

Invoice Smartform Printing Multiple Line Items

I have a billing Document with multiple items like labor ,material,miscellaneous and more .. i want to print all line items description and data also in smartform . It's possible to print all this requirement in Normal Windows or How is it possible to print .If any Standard form is there .

We are having standard smartform for the Invoice. Use LB_BIL_INVOICE. Copy it to Zform. You can get all the details by default.
